Its unfortunate that I cant give this place more stars. I purchased a couples massage for my husband back in June of last year and we just got to use it today. We had two males massage therapist. This was the first time my husband ever had a massage. I have had many in the past and I can tell you it was probably one of the worst.Devin was my massage therapist and I honestly just felt he was either tired or lazy. At one point in the massage I had to ask him if he was going to rub any other part of my body besides my back. He stated well you are very tight up here. I heard him yawn multiple times during the massage. Every massage I have ever had in the past they spend a certain amount of time on each muscle. Again the majority was spent on my shoulders and I do have a lot of tension there. When he moved on to other parts of my body I felt as if he didnt care as much. While rubbing my arms and hands, I am 90% sure, he was sitting on the floor while he was doing it. He seemed to have trouble getting his lotion or oil out of the container it was in. Also in the past whenever the massage therapist is getting oil or moving to another part of my body they never take one of their hands off of me. I felt as if he spent more time walking around the table poorly draping me then he did actually massaging me.Again I wish I could give this place more stars. The check-in lady at the front was lovely. The room that they have you sit in before your massage was relaxing and they provide water and also hot tea.
Do not buy any promotions and if they try to lure you into a membership by telling you that there is one nearby make sure you do your own research. I was visiting this location on vacation and after my massage I was told there was a location 20 minutes away from me and that I should sign up that is not the case. It is an hour away from me and when I’ve asked for a refund, they won’t give me one. I asked to transfer it to my girlfriend who booked the massage for me? They told me they couldn’t do that either, and if they would, it would be a $20 fee. I asked a manager to call me back and I received a text message from the same deceitful employee who sold me the package. I’m still waiting to hear back on my refund or how I can possibly use a membership that is nowhere near me be aware.
Tesondra is an absolutely amazing therapist. I received deep tissue and she targeted areas of concern with perfect pressure. I felt very comfortable. She even took the time after to send me home with some stretch exercises to help relieve pain and tension. Allie (AM) was extremely welcoming, accommodating, and informative. I am now a part of the massageluxe family membership due to these two incredible women. Thank you ladies and see you soon!
Very mediocre and amateur massage. Had a 90 minute massage. Was let out 10 minutes early. She spent 25% of the time rubbing lotion incessantly on my feet and not using really any pressure. The last 25% was spent lightly rubbing my back with little to no pressure at all. All in all, it was such a mediocre massage that at times, I almost felt I was being punkd. By the end, I was just ready to leave and was honestly kind of in a bad mood. In any case, will not go back and would recommend folks look elsewhere if they are looking for a solid massage.

We purchased a couples massage package, which included 2 add ons, we got there 20 mins early and was taken back 5 mins later (3.05pm) than our appointment. We were rushed and only asked about how much pressure and nothing about our add ons. We were only told the scalp was the better option but we were not told what other options were available. I was asked what part i wanted to be worked on a bit more when I told them it never got worked on. It felt like I was being lotioned not massaged. My calfs did not get massaged and only one of my hands got massaged. Our massage got ended at 3.55pm, so we were shorted on time. Overall i felt rushed, not massaged and relaxed, things were not explained.
They were amazingly flexible and were able to get myself and my friend in at the last minute. Excellent service and we felt very refreshed after our 60 minute massages.
I really love this place and i have been a regular since they opened this location. I always get 90 minute Swedish massage. Sydney asked was there any area she should focus on. I said yes, I suffer with arthritis in my neck shoulder and lower back. So if you could focus on that it would be great. She said for 90 minutes I have to do full body. I said that’s not necessary just be sure to focus on those areas. Before my session was over my back got about 4 minutes out of 90 and ended 5 minutes early. I’m a little pissed.This has never been a problem before. same request every visit. But today she told me what she was going to do and did not honor my wish. AMAZING!
I set up 2 massages for my wife and her friend for a birthday weekend to Nashville. Had my wife as contact for issues that might need communication. They contacted her midweek regarding a conflict in Scheduling that required a slight shuffle of times. Not a problem. It’s a massage, relaxation.My wife and friend arrived for appt today at scheduled time, completed paperwork, and waited. And waited. And waited. Finally about 15 mins into appt time, a nice person came to inform them that the therapist was not coming.Judging from other reviews that i should have read, it was a mistake to use this place. The whole point of the trip was to have a relaxing overnight trip. I would strongly discourage anyone from using this place…..
I was a member here for a long time and ended up canceling my membership because I couldn’t afford it any longer. They provided me with 3 gift cards to “cash” me out for the remaining hours of service I had. Fast forward to today, I tried to use those gift cards during a couples massage and found out they had a 6 month expiration date. The manager didn’t even try to talk through solutions and said there was nothing that could be done, and literally walked away into the back room. I had paid for those hours already, and now I not only lost them but had to pay 250+ out of pocket to pay for the massages today. I will not be returning. This seems like incredibly poor business practice to put an expiration date on gift cards from a membership where services had been prepaid for. Very disappointing. This business is ethically shady to say the least.

Location was prime and the lobby, waiting room, and massage room were clean. The massage was by far the oddest massage I’ve ever had. I went for a deep tissue and I think the massage therapist had watched chiropractic videos or something before hand. After about 40 minutes of massage he started in on odd stretches, rotating my arms and legs, even going so far and shaking my legs like he was doing battle ropes. Really have no idea what was going on. Like most massage places they pushed membership, but after that I definitely would not get a membership let alone go back. Thankfully this massage was a Black Friday gift certificate and not the $140 they charge otherwise I would have stopped and asked for either another therapist or refund.

My first time in was such a great experience that I decided to sign up for their monthly massages. It is tough getting an appointment with a female masseuse there, but I now have had a massage with both a male and female, and they both have been great. They also have a water massage that you can get in beforehand to help you relax, which I loved.
I had Jack as my masseur, pleasant experience! He made sure I was comfy and gave me the extra firmness I needed. The hot stone was great add-on choice for an extra $30, can’t complain!
Mediocre, felt rushed, also NOT a 60 minute massage…it’s the 50 min hands on. Not sure why they advertise it that way. Find another place.
Update: The Spa Manager, Irene, did call me to discuss the situation. She was very apologetic and was surprised that she has not heard about the situation. I appreciate her for taking the time to call and her urgency in rectifying my experience! We arrived at MassageLuXe Capitol Hill at 6:15pm. I will by- pass the receptionist getting us confused with another customer who had massages booked at 7:00pm. I am checked-in and taken to the back waiting area. I was offered beverages. I sit there and wait almost 30 minutes until 6:45pm. Another customer who came after me was taken to the back. I decided to return to the front desk and inquire about my appointment. I wanted to know what was taking so long. The receptionist jumps up and goes to the back. She returns and tells me that the person who was supposed to complete my service had left and she does not know why she did not come to get me. Then the young lady proceeds to tell me that because my husband pre-paid for my massage that it closed my service out and there was no notification that I was there. How? I was “checked-in”. I was just given an apology. It was almost as if, me not getting my service was nothing. Just something that happened. I had to request a refund and was unable to reschedule. I hope that the owner contacts me about this. I have sent an email and hopefully, I can change the rating on my review after I get an understanding of what happened.
Great experience. I had a 60 minute Swedish massage with Sidnee and loved it. At check out they were a little pushy with the subscription but not too bad. This is my second visit here while in town. I am for sure going to return. This facility has so much to offer and I love it.
I bought two 90 minute gift certificates for a couples massage on valentines day for my girlfriend. They have canceled our couples massage 3 times since February. I didnt realize that booking a couples massage was that difficult, very bad experience with this location.
The massage therapist gave me a good massage. The staff here is inadequate!They do not have any communication skills & an hour massage was paid for & I only recieved 30 minutes!They gave me a long questionnaire to fill out that ask questions they have no business asking!I was on time for my apt but after being made to wait 30 minutes the massage therapist came to get me.I assumed that she must have been off schedule. I should have been informed about this long process of screening before I came & ask to come in early!I was not told anything by the lady at the desk & its obvious she didnt have a clue as to how to do her job!Very disappointed because I drove 45 minutes to get to this place. And was over charged for the time I had with the therapist. Not her fault, I dont know if she was running late or just waited too long to come get me from the waiting room.I would not recommend this business because this is not right!
Massages are average, but for the price ofmy grandfathered in membership rate it’s a great deal!! For that alone I would’ve given this a 4-5 star alone. The place is kept clean and sanitary, and offer refreshments in the waiting area. They are great at honoring their appointment times and don’t shave off minutes off of my services (if you are late that’s not on them it’s on you. They have other appointments to honor, so be on time or early). I enjoy their massages and facials. The waxing not so much.I am a LuXe member, so I go there often, and this has only happened once. Since then I have not ever had him again. (I do not remember his name). He is the only masseuse that ever made me feel uncomfortable. He was a slim male with an accent (not sure from where) mid 30s or older. But he stated that I should exercise more. He made me feel self conscious about my body especially since he had just given me a full body massage. I was so embarrassed that I didn’t even want to say anything in person to the front desk. All others have been kind and professional.However my biggest issue is with the front desk people. It’s very uncomfortable to be verbally asked the amount I want to tip in front of everyone. This should be a more private matter or at least have the option to choose the amount on their POS, or fill and sign on the receipt. Since that’s not an option I’ve have been taking cash for tips… which I shouldn’t have to do.
Im not someone who leaves a lot of reviews, but I felt like this place needs to be recognized. Every staff member I encountered there was kind and courteous. The ambiance is nice. And the person who did my facial, Cat, was amazing. She was very knowledgeable and made me feel comfortable. I highly recommend asking for her if you plan to visit.
I purchased a Black Friday coupon for a 60-minute facial (50 mins treatment + 10 mins consultation). First, they did not mention the facials included in my coupon up-front and only offered me treatments that would require me to pay extra (i.e., applying the amount of my coupon towards some other, full-priced treatment). Second, my treatment only lasted 35 mins instead of the 50 mins the coupon was for. When I brought this up, they only offered me an add-on towards a future treatment, no compensation. I did not feel valued as a customer and will not be returning.
So far i have had 3 sessions at this location, with 3 different masseuses. There hasn’t been one time i have gotten the full length of service. I will say time your service, the sessions are never the length of time you pay for. My most recent session was shortened by at least 20 minutes. I will find that masseuses name & update this review. Not a company that gives money worth. Do not recommend.
Catherine attempted to massage my fiance during our couples massage. She asked him if he was ok and he told her it hurt where she was massaging his shoulder without lotion. He said it felt more like a friction burn. She continued in the same manner and asked him again the same question. He replied the same. She then ended the session less than 6 minutes in. Who just quits?! Fix what your doing wrong. The manager was kind and offered us another appointment to which my fiance declined. So much for a nice Christmas gift. I bought several gift cards for family in which Catherine will not have the opportunity to take care of any. Find another career path Catherine. People arent your area.On a better note Abigail who started my massage was very sweet and was doing a great job before we had to ended our session as I was not going to have my fiance wait on me. The front office staff were very sweet and the facility was clean and calming.Bridgette. A nurse who knows how people should be treated.

I could tell my therapist had an attitude before the session even started. She was not friendly AT ALL. The massage was just unpleasant and so was she. However, I think this place is really nice and with a different therapist, I would have enjoyed my experience.
Had a sports massage with Julius today. I was recommended to Julius by a friend of mine who suffers from chronic pain and had gone to him for a deep tissue. She’s been having massages for years to help with her constant aches, and she’s an absolute pro at picking the right therapists. I trusted her and I’m glad I did. Julius has a unique style and it was one of those deep but relaxing massages. I felt like he understood anatomy and knew what the bod needed so I was able to just be comfortable and let him work out the intense tightness and soreness in my back legs and arms. Highly recommend. Oh and the studio itself is clean, calm and new. I’m happy 😌
Ordered a 60 min massage, it was grand total of 35 mins . They DO NOT stick to the ordered time. Massues skipped alot of parts even though in the pre-work it asks if you want things avoided and I said no. Skipped Arms, glutes and parts of the leg. At times it felt like he was checking messages because there were long pauses of nothing happening. And no, they werent lotion pauses. Front desk and phone staff... smh frustrating, cant send emails or type in addresses. This experience is why I moved from corporate massage companies to private..All in all I could of forgotten the other stuff if my massage was actually 60 mins. but it was literally 35..I looked at the clock to make sure, ( as someone else said it in the reviews before I came) . Appt 3:00 , I was dressed and checked out by 3:53 . smh . It would of been 1 star but I gave them 1 more for a clean facility. The experience is 5/10 - do not recommend .
Such great service. Hunter was AMAZING, everyone could see the relaxation on my face hahahaha. It was so good I even signed up for the monthly membership! :) I would recommend him to anyone who decides to visit. The membership is a great rate (especially if you’re military).
I have gotten massages all over the world and this was fabulous. The oils used didn’t have a strong odor, my bed was nice and warm, my massage therapist was kind, thoughtful and let me mix it up a bit with remaining time since I had a cramped muscle in my shoulder and it was still needing some work. I am not a fan of the hydrolux machine, however, I will opt out next time though it was free with my visit. It was rough and poundy whereas I like soft and smooth massages. Pricey, but fabulous!
Had a Swedish Massage last weekend that was wonderful. Only thing I wish is that my masseuse used a little bit more lotion but other than that it was fine. Great atmosphere and waiting room area. I got to try the hydromachine. Liked my massage so much a got a membership. Great location.
Overly priced. I didn’t enjoy my massage. The therapist talked the whole time and was too rough even after i told him to be softer.
The staff is incredibly helpful and went above and beyond to help me with my last minute holiday gift. Im a happy camper already and havent even done my massage yet. Go see them!
Went for a 90 minute massage and asked the masseuse Gabriella to focus on my back/shoulder blades because that’s where I carry my stress. She said she would end there. Maybe time management isn’t her strength because it felt like she ran out of time. By the time she got to my back she spent maybe 15 min (of the 90) on my back and applied no pressure at all. The most pressure was after she pulled the blanket back over me and just pushed down on my back over the blanket. I left with the rest of my body feeling good, but not my back. 3 days later my back is in so much pain when I had only felt a little tight when I went in. Having to go to another massage therapist to fix what she messed up. How do you miss the one area the client asks you to work when you have 90 minutes?! Will never go back.

Came into Nashville for a wedding and was pretty sore from not wearing the right shoes walking, so we decided to give MassageLuxe a try after brunch. Jack was super polite and a very talented massage therapist. Definitely left feeling like he head what I asked for and acted on it. My head felt like it was detached from my neck and put back on straight. The eucalyptus in the face pillow didn’t hurt either. Thank you!

Booked with this salon, but was re scheduled the day before my appointment, and was told that slot was no longer available. The day of that appointment I was called and notified that I would now be flagged as a no call no show client and to make sure I did not no call no show again, otherwise I would be charged for the appointment. I called back and let the staff know that I was called the day before but because that person forgot to take my original appointment off and they dont know why that happened I would still be flagged in their system. Poor communication, organization, and customer service. I will not book at all.
Absolutely wonderful experience! Ajalon was my therapist and I cannot begin to explain how fantastic she was! She did everything perfectly. I would recommend her time and time again.

Location is clean. After five massages at this location, still trying to find a therapist there that is thorough and gives a full hour massage. I purchased the package and I definitely have buyers remorse.
Christopher is the best at deep tissue massaging and I know so many people in the past that claim to understand the body, but this guy takes the time to get the troubled spots. Massagelux is good in pricing (veteran) and came with perks but I honestly never used them.
I recently went to get a massage as I get frequent pain and soreness around most of my body. Of the 50+ massages I have had in my life no one came close to the pain/soreness relief that Ajalon provided me. It was without a doubt the best massage of my life and I almost couldnt believe it was real. If you are going to massage luxe, you NEED to ask for Ajalon aka THE GOAT. Thanks again and Ill be back!
This place was really nice and the massage was so relaxing. Chris really worked out my sore spots. I wou6 definitely go again and would recommend it to my friends. The water massage bed atnthe end was great.
Update: changed from 3 to 1 stars. I discontinued my membership a couple of months ago and have still been charged several times. I went in person (as I was told that was the only way to cancel) and was still charged the following month. After additional phone calls and messages I was once again charged for the second month after my cancellation. If you somehow decided to get the membership make sure you use a card that you can easily dispute transactions on or be prepared to fight for your refund.Frequent turn over in staff, occasionally unhelpful and disorganized admin support and a lack of transparency in pricing and elements (especially ingredients) in services has made me regret and discontinue my membership. The space was always clean when I visited but I would not recommend the monthly membership.
Signed up for one of their monthly plans. Not a bad deal and the masseuses are all pretty good. Convenient free parking too.
This place is wonderful... I love it so much..my daughter had eyebrows and chin waxed.. Very thorough the estician was..very informative... Did a great job... Lifted my daughters spirits.. Will go myself ..to have facial .and massages ...very uplifting place...
Scammers. Asked me for too personal info. Double charged me . And, now im getting charges for service im not attending! They all had cry faces and complained i didnt tip 25% on my $375 service
