I recently had the most incredible deep tissue massage at Gravier street massage and it was truly the best massage I’ve ever experienced. From the moment I walked in, the serene atmosphere and soothing aromas immediately put me at ease. My husband and I had a couples massage here and we both really enjoyed it. Jason was great, constantly checking if I was okay and asking for feedback. One hour went very quickly and everything felt amazing! I would definitely come back here. There is a small ($3) charge to use a credit card, so bring cash if you can!

It was a great experience! I called and got an appt right away. The prices were amazing! I felt that my masseuse did an awesome Job getting out my tension and knots. I had upper shoulder pain and sciatica pain on my left side. I felt so relieved and relaxed afterwards. Please tip them, they work so hard!! Definitely give them a try!

We came and visited from Dallas Tx and Kim and Wang gave my husband and I the best massage we’ve ever had. Our sinuses was even open and loose OK😂😂😂 10 out of 10

Went in for a couples massage with my daughter as it was right near the NOPSI. We didnt have an appointment and were taken right away. Ive had massages all around the world and this was surprisingly one of the best Ive had in a long time. Melissa my technician was incredible. She kept the pressure strong per my request and stretched me thoroughly. I feel like a new person. I wish I lived closer- Id be visiting Melissa every week! This is not a reflexology joint like so many nearby. More of a full body massage.

I just had the most amazing thai massage. The therapist worked every joint and muscle. I feel fantastic. Place was clean. Music was soothing. I guess I didnt get pressured to give more tip because I tip well in general. My therapist was very thankful.

Went for a couples massage and I had the guy and my bf had the woman. The guy wasnt that great, its as if he didnt know what he was doing. He would put me in weird positions where I felt uncomfortable in a way and didnt see the point of it. He kept twisting me around like a pretzel which didnt make sense to me. The stones were okay, but instead of laying it on my back he rubbed then against me but from what my bf said the woman put the stones all over his back and shoulder and gave a real good deep tissue massage. The guy sucked and nothing really felt good. Ive gotta massage at Spa2Geaux which I will definitely book there next time. At Spa2geaux they were a lot better, I felt more comfortable. For this I just did it as an anniversary gift for me and hubby, but at least Im glad one of us enjoyed it. Never again am I booking here because that massage sucked! If you want to be folded up like origami, then this is the place.🤣

Just finished a couples massage. Mina and Lucy were awesome. My husband said he feels like a new person! They stretched us and massaged us well with rose oil. Plus they were able to fit us in with just an hour of notice. Highly recommend.

Staying at the Virgin Hotel. Quick walk to the parlor. Very clean. Very professional. I got the 90 min, 60 min body/30 min feet, deal. She oiled me up, loosened me up real quick, then got down to business. It was painful but the good kind of hurt, you know. I booked an hr for my lady it was so good. Top 5 massage Ive ever had. I highly recommend Gravier Street Massage. They even watched my scooter while I was being worked on.

My Partner and I were looking for a nice place to get a massage and sadly we chose this one. After reading the first reviews I thought it was a nice place because they were good but sadly I missed the bad ones, which the place responded to but clearly never changed. The masseuse guy for the couples massage is very inappropriate. He was stretching my partner in very weird positions. Mind you I did not know until my partner told me and I def would’ve said something because I know it’s not normal. Second my masseuse seemed as if she didn’t know what she was doing. Lastly, they WILL wait for a tip at the end, and make you feel like you have to.

Would not recommend. Was ok massage, felt it was pretty much a rush job just wasting time not really doing good unless theyre digging their elbow in there over and over (not a deep muscle). Then waiting on that tip she wasnt happy about it so I doubled it and then she turns to the other girl says something and laughs. I almost grabbed my card back had I not had a phone call come through. Yea tips are customary and not for you to laugh off or demand more. I hope they shut that place down

I had the couples massage. Great price. My fiance loved his massage. Mine was ok. I just think my masseuse was too strong for me. Her gentle was still a lil too much for me. Im only 125 pounds so idk. But I would definitely return and try a different masseuse. Very clean place, nice staff.

Lets start with the basics. Nice employees, clean establishment. The massage was thourough and the massuse checked in often to make sure the pressure was good and not painful. Here the part that made me joyful. I had just finished a cruise and was retaining water. The massuse used deep tissue massage along all of my lymphatic sites stimulating drainage. The next 24 hours I released all that backed up fluid and my legs and feet went back to normal size. I felt 100% better. Great for anyone that suffers from edema.

I just visited Gravier Massage. Not only is it a great deal through groupon but the walk-in service is great. I just received a massage from JASON. He is very strong so men would probably like him. I had medium pressure from him and it was perfect.

The massage was terrible. The guy was extremely inappropriate. My body has bruises from him putting his elbow in my back. Even when I told him he was being too rough he didnt care. I would not recommend this place. They do not give good massages. I honestly feel like they dont even know how to give a proper massage they are just taking peoples money and forcing them to tip for poor services.

Massage was ok not the best or worst I have had but they wait for you after massage like little puppies to wait for tip and then even if you do tip they ask for more and that makes the experience uncomfortable. They try to bully you for more money and I didn’t like that. I think if I provide a tip it’s at my discretion.

Complete sketchy business. No forms to fill out, just walk-in and head to a hot room. Reused dirty linens client after client without changing them. They pull the covers off you completely exposing you for most of the time during the massage. Only the secretary speaks English, so when you’re asking for something like attention to one area or less pressure they don’t understand. Then when you are leaving they ridicule the tip amount and tell you you’re being stingy and need to tip more. I had to adjust my tip 3 separate times because they were laughing at the standard 18%, 20% and 25% tips I left and kept demanding more money. I finally walked out and will not be coming back and hope no one else has the same horrible experience I had. I didn’t even get the full amount of time I paid for!

Got a couples massage. Girlfriend had a great deep tissue massage, however, I received the worst massage Ive ever had. The woman doing the massage had no idea what she was doing and was just pressing down on me most of the time, and the stretches were worthless. Got zero benefit from the experience and still sore from working through Mardi Gras

I had a deep tissue massage with Melissa last night. I have traveled the world and have had many massages in many countries and I can honestly say that Melissa is the best masseuse I’ve had anywhere! She quickly relaxed my body. I’ve been having a little pain in my left shoulder from exercising with weights and Melissa was able to relax that shoulder and the pain is almost completely gone! I would definitely recommend this place and Melissa to anyone seeking a first class massage.

We had a couple massage last december for the first time here. We had a terrific experience So we went again tonight expecting to have the same service. But to my great disappointment, this visit was a total opposite of relaxation. Both of the ladies that massaged us were terrible. The entire time I felt like I was being shakin to wake up. The first 5 mins I knew we should have asked for a different therapist. She pressed her elbow accross my SPINE, she even laughed when I said ‘ouch’.now I’m home with a back pain!!!!!! Y’all better pray it didn’t damage my spine or this will be a lawsuit!

My daughter and I get the couples massage here every 2 to 3 weeks.Place is always clean, staff is always friendly and massages are top tier without the huge price tag.I have always had a great experience and recommend to anyone who is looking for a great affordable massage!

My husband and I were visiting New Orleans from NC and walked past the Gravier Street Massage and thought wed give it a try. We were not disappointed! We had a couples massage by two therpaists who were absolutely amazing. The pressure was just right and they hit all the right spots! The customer service was excellent and we even received free skin treatment packets. We highly recommend this place for physical and mental relaxation!

Walked in and got a couples massage without any wait! Melissa and Jason were great! Everything was clean and inviting. Customer service was polite and engaging. Would definitely go again!

My wife and I got a couples massage here. They never asked us how much pressure we would like. It was strange that the female masusue chose to massage me while the male massaged my wife. My massage was pretty light, especially on my legs where I didnt feel very much effect. But much worse was my wifes massage which she described as incredibly painful and forceful. A lot of the moves they were doing seemed improvised and pointless and were definitely not pleasant. Overall Ill give it two stars because of the price and ambiance which were both good.

Bad on every level.. I prefer a strong deep tissue but this “therapist” had no clue what he was doing. Pressure was very hard which if he was on the muscles it would have been great but he was on my bones 90% of the massage… I thought he was going to seriously hurt me. Next day covered in bruises. Definitely not certified therapists and I paid $97 🙄

I travel frequently and get massages at every destination that I travel to.Pros:The location was very clean and easy to find. Very inexpensive.Cons:This was one of the worst massages that I’ve ever experienced. Too much pressure was applied to areas that were not pressure points. Comfortable movements were quickly followed but abnormally painful ones. The massage left me with more aches and pains then I had prior. To top it off I was bombarded to tip after the encounter. I honestly didn’t want to tip because I disliked the massage so much and felt as though I had wasted my money. Yet, after the persistent asking for a tip I eventually gave in. Every amount that I said I wanted to tip was met with confrontation that I needed to tip more. I ended up tipped 16 dollars for an hour session. I would give the location two stars because it’s one of the least expensive massages I have ever received; Yet, being confronted after the massage left a horrible taste in my mouth. I would say that you get what you pay for. Yet, I frequently visit the massage envy in Atalanta and pay the same amount and receive a far better massage. The massage at massage envy is normally so good that without thinking I tip at least 30 dollars.Save your money and prevent yourself from experiencing unnecessary pain followed by immediate confrontation.

Massage was nice. Service sucked reserved a couples massage with a make and female therapist . Got there only two men were avaliable UGHHH. Had to wait 30 mins for the female therapist to show up. Then we were shorted on our hot stones

Ok so I didnt think it was that bad of a massage. I mean the price is pretty cheap compared to other places and it was convenient. They made us pay beforehand which was odd but ok. I enjoyed my massage. She was able to work on some knots and release some tight muscles. My wife on the other hand left with bruises and more pain than when she came. We are about 4 days removed from this massage and she still has pain and bruises on her. The masseuse didnt seem to understand her when she was saying that what he was doing was hurting her. Also when it came time to tip we were going to leave what we thought was a generous tip but they basically told us no and said a higher amount. I wont come back, but it also wasnt the worst experience.

First , they are letting you wait way too long after the scheduled time.We did couple massage and the 2 therapists kept talking during the massage.Tips- they have a ceremony of tip collection. The tip is behind asked very aggressively .The massage itself is not very professional .Not recommended !!!

I would NEVER go back. We requested medium massages and they were very hard. I definitely got pressure pointed at least 3 times and the workers forced us to tip their self. They forced us to give a tip and when we asked for change for a 20 they kept the $20. We woke up hurting really bad on our backs and necks and when I tried explaining my issue to them they laughed in my face. Never again.

I hadnt had a massage in a while, and this is what I needed. The lady who attended me was able to crack my back a few times. The place is in a weird spot, but its very clean and doesnt smell. $65 for one hour regular massage, its best to pay cash if not they have a $5 fee.

Stopped into town and really needed my back worked on from a long year. My back was so sensitive when she started massaging me. I walked out feeling refreshed and not even a bit tense. Great place for a great massage

I have never felt violated in my life while getting a massage . The older Chinese lady who serviced me was very rough , my body was exposed the entire time . As she was massaging my back she tend to open up my booty and try to massage there .. She pulled my thongs down and continued to massage . As she was massaging my legs I had to clinch my legs cause I felt like she was gonna touch my private area . The entire time I didn’t enjoy this massage but it was a gift from my boyfriend for my birthday . At the end they tried to force me to leave a certain amount of tip . I’m soo disappointed and I will not be returning nor recommending this place .

Worts massage I ever had , listen to the reviews because they are all very similar to my experience…I am From Philly the gentleman who did my massage doesn’t listen to instructions they will put there elbow in your back so hard you will wanna fight and the more you say not to hard the more he doesn’t listen this place doesn’t ask what your preference is like most professional places they just be rough it was cheap but not worth getting up the next day in worst condition then when you came in
