The po boy was excellent. Great recommendation from the server. Shrimp tasted fresh, and the portion was very good if you are hungry. I also loved the French fries. Live music was playing and also the outdoor patio was very nice. Beers were cold and service was great. Definitely willing to go back and take coworkers with me.
We really enjoy the atmosphere and dinner time Mike at the door was awesome !the bathrooms were clean and the music was what drawn us in from down the block! Plus you can’t forget the 2 for one drinks and bang bang shrimp happy hour it was very hot so we sat outside in the misters it was a very relaxing stop! Definitely worth the stop great conversation with Mike and other patrons smoking patios. Make your way to burbon Heat on bourbon st . if you are in the French quarter it doesn’t matter if it’s night or day. But dinner time mike was awesome and informative.
Great food! My waiter, Devon, was SO nice and very attentive to my needs even with having multiple tables. The food is so good. Hearty. I’m super full and only ate half my plate. I ordered the read beans + rice w/ Cajun sausage plate. Would recommend!
Absolutely fantastic experience at Bourbon Heat in New Orleans! The food was nothing short of amazing, bursting with authentic flavors that truly capture the essence of New Orleans cuisine. From the savory gumbo to the perfectly spiced jambalaya, every bite was a delight. The service was equally impressive—attentive, friendly, and efficient. The staff made sure we felt right at home and provided excellent recommendations. If youre looking for an authentic New Orleans dining experience, Bourbon Heat is a must-visit. Highly recommended!
We had a wonderful lunch experience. They want you to be happy! Though they seat you, you pick it! We chose outdoor under a heater. We enjoyed the jazz fusion while we ate our lunch. The love potion is super tasty (had to get a second). We had the chicken and beignet minus the heat. We were served syrup instead. It was super tasty. Our waitress was super attentive and nice. Despite sharing our drink and lunch we were not overlooked. At other places we are often overlooked. We’ll remember this place for the next time we’re in town! They boast cleanest bathrooms in the area… they aren’t wrong!
Our server Devon was pleasant. The food here was overall really good. I like to try things for the 1st time. The Bang Bang Shrimp was great (had a Nola twist on them). I had the Blacken Shrip PoBoy, which was just ok. I think it would have been better if fried. My daughter had chicken tenders (huge, good amount, and good taste). My wife had Gumbo, which she really enjoyed.
The DJ was fantastic, but additional bathrooms would have been beneficial. The drinks and bar service were commendable, and the location was excellent with reliable security. They effectively handled a potentially dangerous situation on the street. The balcony section was a favorite, offering a chance to breathe fresh air while observing the revelry downstairs.
Dinner time Mike was the barker at 711 bourbon heat he made it fun and interesting at the restaurant. He explained the menu well and brought us into the courtyard restaurant. He let us choose where to sit. Were able to smoke cigarettes. And he took his time explaining the happy hour prices happy hour is every day until the band stops playing 2 for 1 beers. And double well drinks. Service was excellent the music was wonderful. Big Mike and the R&B kings played so well for so long. It was a great experience. The restrooms are very clean and well maintained. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone. Because it has it all. I cant wait until Im aloud to get back to Bourbon Heat. Was such a great time.awsome
We had the most beautiful wedding ceremony & reception at Bourbon Heat. Annette Brim was so amazing & patient as she helped me plan it out and also worked with us on all the details. The food was so delicious, the bartenders (especially Kate) and Aldo the manager, were also amazing and they served our guests the drinks as requested prior to walking out to our 2nd line. The DJ played all of our songs on cue and then we were able to party the night away with our guests in the VIP section under the DJ. We highly recommend using this venue for your wedding and reception needs.
Gary (I believe was his name) drew us in from the street, with the promises of happy hour, live music, and great food. He was absolutely delightful, explained the specials and menu to us. My son and I split the gumbo. It was a decent portion for both of us and absolutely delicious.I did ask for water and a side of fries that never came, and I feel the well whiskey was a bit overpriced, but overall 4/5.
Alexis was awesome! She was very friendly and personable with 10/10 service. We had the boom boom shrimp for dinner and it was amazing! Mo-Heat-O was a fun good drink and she gave great recommendations! Definitely coming back!
Dinner time Mike was great. Told us history of French quarter. So informative. Great for families. Great prices. Good food for kids. We loved it. Best bathrooms in the French quarter. Learned all about the French quarter. Would go there everytime we are in New Orleans. Live band and disco right in the middle of French quarter. Drinks half price right next to great ship. Kids loved it!!😊
Beautiful courtyard area, live band was playing too. Our waiter (my daughter said he looks like Loki 😊) was awesome and made recommendations to us. I had the bang bang shrimp po boy and a pain killer drink which was so good. My boyfriend had the red beans and rice which was tasty too. I bet this place looks even more amazing at night. We didn’t even wait long to get our food so that was a plus as well.
The music is good, not too loud and jarring like most other places. The Bartender, Bridget, is an extremely friendly and great person. She kept a variety of amazingly great cocktails & shots rolling out..Bites - Had the Oyster Fritzgerald, and it was finger licking delicious. Thought of taking a picture after I downed a couple 😂
Jacob was AMAZING! He single handedly waited on several tables and was so attentive. This was my first time in NOLA and my first authentic NOLA meal. Bourbon Heat did not disappoint! You should eat here!
We ate dinner in the courtyard. We liked the music playing by the DJ but wanted to sit outside so we could hear eachother over dinner. The waiter was very nice and attentive. It is more of a bar/club but the food was really good. We had shrimp and grits, and an order of chicken tenders, and both were delicious. The tenders could have been a little more breaded for my prefrence, but definitely seasoned.I would have gave them 5 stars but I took one away bc while we were sitting in the courtyard they started misting the plants. The automatic misters (like the ones you find in the grocery store) kept going off, basically getting us wet. Not wet, but damp for sure. It was just unexpected.
Our waitress Kate was the best…very good service and great conversation. She broke down the menu to us very well. It was well worth it and we are eager to comeback for that same dine in experience.
Devon was the best server you could have. Sat out on the back courtyard. Live music. Gumbo was amazing. Red beans and rice was amazing (I dont even like red beans). Bang bang poboy with grilled shrimp was perfect (substitute for the fried shrimp). I will definitely be returning. Also... Happy hour until 5. You cant go wrong. Thanks Devon for your service!!!!! You made it a great experience.
Dinner time Mike literally drew us back with a subtle, old school bark from all the way up the street! The taunts of 2 for 1 beers and cocktails made the turn around for us SUPER easy! Upon greeting us at the door, he walked us to the courtyard ( Which is BREATHTAKING!), cleared off a table and made us feel right at home. The waiter was quick, polite and well spoken. Parting thoughts ...... Walk Bourbon, drink at Bourbon HEAT! If you feel the need to really heat things up THE CLUB upstairs opens at 8 and is scorching HOT!!
The liveliest place on Bourbon Street. Slinging drinks and live music. Big Mike & The R&B Kings from Chicago throwing down great Rhythm and Magical Guitar runs was exactly what I was looking for. We hung out for a couple sets. What’s not to lik, forget about your troubles and get a good buzz and really relax. That’s New Orleans.
The person at the door was amazing very entertaining! His enthusiasm is what pulled us in. However after waiting a while and no one came to great us we walked back out. He stopped us. Reluctant to stay, his enery great and we stayed. He went to the back to grab our waiter. Though she was nice, she came up to the table with her phone to her ear. We told her our order and she brought out something we didnt ask for. She did offer to return it but I was already over it and said no thank you. The pasta was slightly under cooked and kinda hard. I ate the shrimp from the pasta and thats it. I wouldnt recommend.
Bourbon heat is definitely a go-to for a night out with friends. i enjoy the many different levels and spaces it offers. upstairs gives the full vibe of a night club, while downstairs also offers a bar and music in the front with a courtyard space towards the back. upstairs does have a balcony, but should be known that there are lots of flashing/strobe lights upstairs for those who may be sensitive to that. very nice and usually clean bathrooms (in the women’s bathroom there is a bathroom attendant woman who usually sits in there and offers loads of useful products for women to use, although you must tip her of you use the items). overall, nice service and employees. i even lost my entire wallet here and returned the next day and was able to retrieve it from the lost and found. bourbon heat is a place i would recommend!
I rarely have experiences where I am like just no, based on the food. But, its a no for me. I had the Shrimp Po-Boy and there was no way for me to eat it. I am not sure if the shrimp was not cleaned properly, but. It had a dirty taste to it. I just could not cover the taste. A lot of dry ingredients with one tomato, one small piece of lettuce, and 2 pickles. Also, the mayo sits outside on the table sweating (Please dont eat that!).The sever only came once to refill our waters, after we flagged him down. I told him I didnt like the sandwich, 95% of it was still there, and he just laughed and took it away. Luckily we did find a coupon online to lower the price of the $20 sandwich, I was still paying for! I paid him for it and he assumed the change was his and did not bring back my change. It was rude, to assume. Will not be back to this one guys.***Heads up, not a lot of money, but, there is a 3% convenience fee for credit cards.
Dinner time Mike was so helpful!!! What a great personality!!!! He made some jokes. Loved him!!! We enjoyed the atmosphere & the 2 for 1 drinks!!! He even directed us to sites & sounds for our trip to New Orleans!!! The bathroom was sparkling clean! The best one around!! Great place!!!!!
Was a pretty cool place, didnt spend a whole lot of time here because the people I was with wanted to go check out another place close by. Lots of seating here though and wasnt to busy during our visit which is always nice... Love having the place ourseleves. Service was also quick and people working were nice.
The shrimp poboy was the main reason I stopped here. You have to try it! After walking past the first part in the front with the bar, youll walk to a beautiful sitting area outside. You have to try this place. Its also good for lunch, brunch, and dinner. A great restaurant
Live music, happy hour, courtyard, food, great atmosphere…what more could you ask for? Devon was our server and quickly arranged for a covered table to accommodate our party of 10 so that we wouldn’t get wet during the ensuing storm. Pat o’briens was closed and they are going to lose out to a more accommodating bourbon heat! Highly recommend for a good group time!
Made a reservation for 12 a week in advance, got there but nothing was set up and the server was confused. He threw together two dirty tables and threw a table cloth over them. Then he tried to take our order but had to go around twice to do it. He came back with a pitcher of water but looked into the pitcher and said Ew and tossed it in a garbage can and never returned with water. One of our guest ordered a Ultimate Bloody Mary for $35 and a strawberry mojito but they never came. I had to ask 5 times for the drinks and then he said the chicken has to cook for the Bloody Mary but almost everyones dinner was already out. He continued to bring food out so i stopped him and asked him to get the drink before setting anymore food. He did. The drink was not even drinkable. The food was not worth the prices and the place was dirty. Go anywhere else. Oh he finally brought the Bloody Mary and it too was not worth it. Beware.
Amelia and dinner time Mike were both great! Made our experience! Keep up the great jokes dinner time Mike!
First time to NOLA. My wife and I (both Blues fiends) stopped by hearing Blues from down the block. Big Mike and the RB Kings were awesome! We stayed for hours. We will be back again in October. Hope to hear them.
First time dining at Burbon Heat. We sat outside and it was perfect. Try the Bang Bang Shrimp! Just do it. I had chicken and sausage Gumbo with red beans and rice and a boudin egg roll. I didnt care to much for the red beans. It was a flavor issue. The Gumbo and the boudin egg roll stole the show. My friend had the same dish as myself but she had the fried fish. Omg when I tell you it was seasoned and fried to absolute perfection. I will definitely be stopping in on my next trip to NO.
Dinner Time Mike was the best! He gave us a rundown on the menu choices, made great suggestions, greeted us with a smile, and had some humorous stories to share. Thanks for making a tourist feel right at home. Great place to go for happy hour and say hi to Mike!
Just left Bourban Heat and Alexis was amazing! Her drinks were on point , she was friendly and attentive . Highly recommend . Ask for Alexis. !!!!
Live music drew us in.Happy hour specials made us stay!Double shot well drinks - delicious 😋Fried Wickes- one order feeds 2 or more! We were stuffed!
The great hip hop tunes from this club is what drew me in from Bourbon street. I was able to walk in with my hand grenade, and that was awesome since I wasnt ready to rush through my drink. We went upstairs to the club for a while, but had the most fun at the bar. The music was still amazing and the bartender was fantastic. We had some shots and danced the night away. I would recommend a stop here.
Great place for lunch on Bourbon Street. The Courtyard Grill at Bourbon Heat is a nice little outdoor dining area located behind the bar off of the street. We had shrimp po-boys and buckets of ice cold beer, couldn’t ask for much better. The atmosphere here was nice and casual, fairly quiet, and staff was great. We will definitely be back again.
Stopped in for drinks and to cool off a while just before noon. Very friendly staff and great live music. Nice, shaded courtyard.
Awesome food & good service, but the dining patio is not fully covered (for rain) and the music was so loud we couldnt hear the waitress or have a conversation amongst ourselves.
Dinner time Mike is solely responsible for our dining choice. He is absolutely fantastic, as was the food and drink! Jake is an excellent server, too! The atmosphere was cordial with EXCELLENT bathrooms as advertised !
A hidden gem. We were greeted at the front of the establishment and welcomed. Its kid friendly with a courtyard in the back. Food and service were great. I highly recommend 👌
Amazing food! Great atmosphere! Dinner-time Mike was very helpful and felt like an amazing tour guide and was so knowledgeable about the establishment and food. Jacob the waiter was also amazing. The band playing at 1 in the afternoon was amazing, great late brunch vibes all around.
Food and drink were great. Smooth vibe, more of a hole in the wall type of place.
Alexis made the best drinks I’ve had this entire trip. Not to mention the band is so lively and fun
We saw Kayla making a drink for the band that is not on the menu. It looked good so we asked for the same thing. Needless to say, it was the best drink we have had so far in New Orleans. You need to get this double shot of spiced rum coffee drink on your menu. Great service, great music, great place to hang out.
Devon was my server and he was quit Literally the best server we’ve had all week here in New Orleans. The food here is excellent. The atmosphere is fun and relaxing. We’ve come back here three times for drinks so great drinks as well.
Check out the blonde bartender, always good drinks. DJ is always mixing something new
First time ever in Nawlins…lol and this was the best catfish I ever and the gumbo stop playing…This IS A MUST HAVE
Our bartender, Kayla, was INCREDIBLE. Her enthusiasm and kindness was infectious. Not only did she serve us some delish and refreshing beverages, she gave us some great dining recommendations. What a gem she is to this establishment! We plan on multiple visits before we leave the great city of NOLA because of Kayla! Thank you for making us feel so welcomed!
Amazing Atmosphere and live music. Courtyard seating is great and deffinetly gives you the bourbon street dining experience. High energy staff will get you in the door and make sure you get taken care of with excellent service. The only thing keeping me from giving a 5 star review was the Ribs and Red beans and rice, with the classic New Orleans baked bread were excellent but the chicken which was half my meal was like Jerky and nearly inedible. However I will deffinetly visit again because the rest of my party had nothing but great things with their food and Id go back just to have a beer even in that high energy but Bourbon street chill vibe restaurant.
Dinner time Mike was awesome and very helpful! He was great and really knew how to make everything enjoyable. The food was great. Our server Brianna was great too. The whole vibe was awesome and on point.
Cold day outside and the man on the street said come in to our open courtyard where they had several heaters.Ordered the Gumbo and it had a bite no extra heat was needed. But perfectly spiced. Bang bang shrimp served with coleslaw was a hit.Waiter was busy as it was the lunch crowd arriving but he did very well.Great place to eat a great lunch.
I liked the location and the courtyard for dining but our waitress was the worst. My cajun chicken sandwich was way over-cooked and dry. My co-worker asked several times for a menu and for the drinks he ordered 20 minutes ago and her response was that she was slow after being out partying all night. Thats all fun and laughs but not when your service sucks. They had a nice little club upstairs and a balcony to hang out on.
Bourbon Heat Bar and Grill was one awesome place to have dinner on Bourbon Street, in New Orleans when Thomas and I first went together! The food was amazing, the drinks were fantastic, and the staff was exceptional!!! The whole atmosphere made this place a must and we highly recommend it!!!(November-December 2020)
Classic New Orleans bar and restaurant, they do it right. Dinner time Mike is great, educated us on everything we needed. The best music too.
Food was good but service was very slow but YMMV depending on what time you go.
Dinner Time Mike was such a character we had to try the food. Had the Oysters Fitzgerald which is an appetizer but it filled me up. Happy Hour until 5 pm with the best music in the French Quarter in the early afternoons. 5 star.
Visiting from FL, ran into this cool joint. Came 2 days in a row because of Kayla. She makes amazing drinks & is super friendly! Bathrooms are super clean & good food. Thanks Kayla for making our trip that much better !
The food was so-so and rather expensive for what it was. The gator sausage was about $10 for a single link. The drinks were also fairly overpriced and light on the liquor. Overall, the real saving grace of this place was the open-air courtyard with water misters. Without that, it would just be another over-priced tourist trap.
My fav place on bourbon street. great music. decent selection of liquor. bar area is small but i think theres an upper level. didn’t go early enough to try the food.
Every bartender is on point with their service and their drinks. The courtyard is a breath of fresh air and the food is spectacular!
Of course they had a live band so we had to stop in! Great atmosphere. Seating at bar to watch the band or in the back where its quieter if thats your vibe. Emilia was our bartender and she is fantastic! Always smiling and very welcoming! Id give more than 5 ⭐️ if I could
KAYLA KAYLA KAYLA! She was amazing! as soon as CHRIS ( who is amazing at getting people in the door with his high energy and passion for this place) brought us in bar, the ambiance was amazing, she pointed us in the direction of an amazing shot, just what we wanted as well! she has a great attitude and makes everyone feel comfortable, even when we’re not from here! 10/10 recommend! come see her and get a mexican candy shot!
Best spot on Bourbon St, Kayla hands down best bartender around sling dranks and making smiles! Bourbon Heat has the best night and day vibes across the board! I love going there when I visit! Great atmosphere and love music! Brings me to life! Love Nola
Dinner time Mike was the reason we decided to go ahead and try this spot. Glad we did food was excellent, music was good, and service was top notch.
Kayla was incredible! She helped me out as a stranger in the bar! Her customer service skills are above par and her drinks were on point! Definitely coming back next time Im down in the French Quarter!
I had a blast!! Dinnertime Mike gave us excellent recommendations from the menu. He hooked me up with the Bang-Bang Killer shrimp during happy hour. The courtyard was nice to eat in. I’ll be back before I leave. Thanks Mike👍🏽
Went to Burbon Heat to grab food before going to a jazz club. Service was fantastic. Food...not good. I ordered the shrimp n grits. The roux tasted like to much grease in it. I liked how spicey it was. Bread was burnt that they served me. To overpriced for what I was served. Eat somewhere else.
Kayla was great! Took care of us and our phone charging😊Music was fantastic, what an amazing guitarist ( and my husband is a very picky musician and very hard to impress and he loved the guitar tone)
Kayla was amazing! Visiting from out of town, heard the live music from the street and happy I stopped in! The food was great but the band and Kayla were TOP TEIR!!
They have an area in the back that mists water and has lots of fans. It was super cool!!!
Great find on Bourbon Street. Big Mike & the R & B Kings band is outstanding! Kayla makes sure the beers are super cold & the shots go down great. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️. So good that we stopped in 3 times.
Kayla and was an absolute RIOT to be around! Chris is the best personality I’ve seen on the entire strip, we were saying no to everyone but he convinced us to come in and try it out.Me and my girlfriend had a great time!
Jonathan is a wonderful bartender. He made amazing drinks with timely service and a pleasant attitude!! Great time at bourbon heat if you’re looking for good music and good vibes come here. And if you get Jonathan as a bartender then it’ll be even better!
The food was pretty good. But our server Wesley was top notch!!! He was so kind and friendly. He was most definitely the best server we had while here in New Orleans.
Kayla was brilliant!!! Funny and kind. I have a severe corn allergy and she went and found out if I could eat the dessert I wanted to order. This took her back to the kitchen to get an answer. So appreciate her!!!
Kate and Bridget are the best Duo in Nola. Highly recommend this place.
Food, amazing! Drinks, amazing! Service (Jacob) the BEST in NOLA!!! Highly recommend!!!
The drinks are the bomb!! The service is awesome. Jonathan was an awesome bartender!! He made the best hurricanes. We visit the Heat every time we come to New Orleans. Try it. You will love it.
Jake was our original waiter, but then God sent a rainstorm and Jake helped to get us inside! He left us with Kayla and she was also a wonderful person to do business with! You have two WONDERFUL employees here, you would do wise to keep them! After 45 yrs in high tech AND customer service, Jake & Kayla are FANTASTIC!!!!
Highly Reccomend!!We had the Etouffe Shrimp and order of chicken tenders. The food was excellent & the portions were generous! The rest of the menu looked great as well. Our server, Josiah, was prompt and friendly. The location is perfect, the entrance is on Bourbon Street, and then you are able to enjoy your meal in a little courtyard just back from the street.
1st time to NOLA and stopped at bourbon heat. Sat at the bar to listen to some music and met the best bartender ever by the name Kayla. Made us feel like we were at home having a drink. Kayla is the best.
Amazing wee bar. Here from NZ and Kayla talked me into getting the Gumbo. Did not disappoint. Great service, good music and cool atmosphere! Highly recommend.
Best bar on Bourbon Street! Great food, amazing live music, fun and friendly staff, awesome drinks with a 2-4-1 happy hour every day from 11am-5pm! Also they are a venue for any and all events you could think of. From college events to company parties even down to weddings. Amanda is so helpful with any and information you could possibly need to set up an event here. All around a one stop shop!
We come here often, and always receive the best service as well as a good time! Music is always on point, drinks, and food. We had Jonathan as our bartender this past experience, and he was great!!!! Always recommend Bourbon Heat
Great atmosphere and top shelve liquor. Kayla was amazing! Our drinks were great! She was attentive and very nice. Will be back for sure.
The music is what initially drew me in but Alexis and Rommel is what made me stay! The service and energy these two provided were TOP TIER!!! They recommended some of the best drinks and food! I’ll be back every time I’m in NOLA!
Kayla is the most amazing and beautiful bartender! She made us feel so welcome, and she was such a good mixologist, and she is absolutely gorgeous! Definitely recommend❤️
Kayla and Bridgett offered super fast service and was a great bartender! Highly recommend this bar and Kayla. They also had great live music.
We had a blast listening to music, dancing, and drinking here! We didnt eat at the restaurant, but the DJ did a great job on keeping the energy up and making sure everyone had a great time. We checked out several spots but kept coming back here because it was so fun! We came during the day and there was live music as well, and he even played a song for my brother-in-laws birthday.
Can’t recommend this place enough, especially as a nightclub/bar! I met the manager Nathan and he was immediately such an awesome guy and when he and I both had a bad experience at another bar, he invited me to come visit the next night so he could try to save our opinion of Bourbon street and that is exactly what him and everyone else there did. We came back to this place 5 times within 2 days 😂 the Bartender/manager Kate was one of the most genuine and welcoming people we met the whole time and she did everything possible to cater to us and help make sure we had the best time for our friend’s bachelor party from great drinks to great conversation. Bridgette, Maddie, and Rob in such a short interaction were also so welcoming and friendly in just the little amount of time we talked with them and when I come back to New Orleans, this will be the first and probably the last place that I go as well! Thank you guys so much for helping make this trip so memorable and making it such a great time for us and everyone else in there!
Kayla my favorite bartender !!! First time in New Orleans she recommended a a lot of places to go… she is awesome and welcome us with open arms !!! Kayla YOURE THE BEST GIrl!! I’ll see y’all next year
Great place on Bourbon Street to have drinks, listen to live music, and people watch. Plus, its happy hour all day until 5 pm.
We had an absolutely awesome time enjoying some great drinks and great music! Kayla was an amazing bartender!! We loved the experience and will be sure to be back again soon!
We have been to Bourbon Heat a million times, the drinks are good.. but Brittany is truly f...ing AMAZING!You can tell that girlfriend is passionate about what she does and takes pride on it!She chilled my martini grass before serving it!
Super solid food. Great drinks. Sweetest bartender ever (Bridget ) ,love her. Live music was good!
From LA, came to NO to celebrate a friend’s birthday and stumbled upon this bar and met Kayla the Bartender. Had a great time with her behind the bar, good vibes and definitely coming back as long as she working here
Quick stop for a rest break, happy hour beers, & kiddo needed a burger. Kid said burger was delish! Our server, Jacob, was super-friendly & attentive. All the staff were friendly! Courtyard seating was really beautiful. This place has the cleanest, nicest restrooms in all of the FQ! If anything, stop in for a drink & take advantage of the restroom, while youre exploring Bourbon St!
Live music below, balcony seating, and delicious food. This breathes new orleans ♡
Kayla wad awesome! Super friendly. My first stop in NOLA this trip. It was the right choice. Also helped you had live music. 🥰
Best hurricane drink in the French quarter! By Kayla… simply amazing! Best rock band… We enjoyed our stay in New Orleans in grand part because of this place! Visiting from Miami and sure to coming back!
Kayla was amazing!! She’s the reason we came back the next day!! She made our drinks exactly the way we like them and her customer service is 2nd to none!!
I didn’t purchase food. I purchased a couple of shots from the bar which was part of the Pride Bar Crawl. Brittany was freaking amazing and I will definitely revisit and try other things there but will look for her for sure.
Kayla was a great bartender took care of all the things we needed! We didn’t eat but she makes a great beverage! We will be back
Chris talked us right into coming in with great charm. The restaurant was very elegant with awesome music. Fabulous food. Definitely a NOLA stop next time around .
Kayla is the friendliest bartender in New Orleans! Try out Bourbon Heat. Great music. Coming for bottomless mimosas next time! Definitely recommend this place. Ask for Kayla!
Great red beans and sausage! Best service weve had in the quarter!
This place isn’t a knockout from the street front, but we were hungry and had to pee. When we walked in there was live music, very nice decor and the courtyard was beautiful. I will say—cleanest bathrooms we have experienced in NOLA so far! The four of us each ordered a different meal and we were all blown away! The food was great and such a surprise. Kayla, the bartender, was our server and she was very personable and the perfect level of helpful but not obtrusive. She also made a great strawberry gin smash! Bourbon Heat is a hidden gem!
Had some fried and a mocktail and it was delicious! The live music creates such a great vibe and they have a cute courtyard in the back. Brittany took great care of me!
I absolutely adore Kayla, she makes AMAZING drinks and is so kind and very personable. i will be back everytime i’m in new orleans !!
Stopped here for drinks and music during the day and was blown away with both as well as the overall ambience. The outside patio was so relaxing and beautiful and the music was phenomenal. The bathrooms were clean and well ACed
I had an awesome time at the Bourbon Heat!! We were in NOLA for a few days and made it a point to stop there at least once each time we were on Bourbon St. Nice courtyard seating during the day, a bar on the first floor and then a nightclub theme upstairs with access to a balcony. Staff were always friendly and welcoming every time and I appreciate that they werent fussy about letting you bring in outside drinks... because each time we were there we ended up spending a lot on drinks even though some in our group still had a few sips left upon entering.Nice staff, fun environment, not up-tight... definitely would recommend A+
CHRIS MY MAN! He is the best! He reeled us in off the street. The drink specials and clean bathrooms were exactly as advertised. Great live music and staff!
Stumbled across this place on rainy day and couldn’t be happier with the food! delicious!thanks chef mike
Chris was very welcoming and pulled us right into the front bar and the beautiful courtyard. Bridget was a beautiful server with great drink suggestions. Will return
Bourbon Heat is our favorite spot on Bourbon for music and food. The bbq shrimp is our favorite in NOLA!All the staff is amazing and Cynthia went above and beyond to make our visit perfect!Five stars for Cynthia!
Bridget & Kaet have been the hostesses with the mostest. They were so fun we ended up staying all night just to hang out with them.. food was also on point! Shoutout to the cook! Security at the door made us feel super safe and welcomed. Zeus on the 1s and 2s was fiyaaa
Kayla was a wonderful hostess. The band was absolutely out of hand. I didn’t know that that much fun was possible before 5pm on a random Thursday. Will be back.
My friend and I visited New Orleans for only about 24 hours in between other travels. We ended up spending the majority of our time at Bourbon Heat for good reason. The people, lighting, music, atmosphere, cleanliness, service, etc. kept us coming back. We would definitely recommend stopping in while you’re on Bourbon Street!
Day or night Bourbon Heat is the place to be, make sure to check it out whenever you come to New Orleans. If you get to meet Kaet behind the bar well that’s just plus, sweetest person you’ll ever meet.
Kayla made our New Orleans experience unforgettable. She made AMAZING Hurricanes!!! Gave us a lot of places to see and visit. Thank you Kayla
Love this place. The crew is the best on Bourbon. Alexis and Bridgette are the best bartenders hands down. The MC is hilarious and the DJs play great music.
Dinner time Mike will greet you at the door and he knows the menu inside out and the daily specials . The bathroom are exceptionally clean. Jacob is the go to waiter and hell take very good care of you. Live music starts at 11a.m . This is the place to visit on bourbon st.
Excellent waiter Gregory Marshall! Great place! Great service!
We ate here 3 times in one week. So we feel like we got a good idea of the consistency of the place. It was great! The food was great every time across varied dishes and some duplicates. The shrimp was better on days 2 and 3, however it was great on day 1. So, no complaints there. The service was superb. Friendly, genuine, fun, and involved. Great teamwork.Twice we had Jordanas our server, and that was a great treat. He was an amazing server, and person.James, at the door, is worth just stopping in to say hi. Even if youre just passing by.Highly recommend the food and restaurant staff. The cooks are great and very gracious as well. It was a pleasure speaking with them too.
Bridget was an absolute angel. Made our experience worth the trip. Then Alexis came in and was an absolute delight. Would come back just for them.
Our bartender, Kayla, was awesome. Excellent customer service. Would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a good time in New Orleans.
We had our Welcome Reception here the night before our wedding. It was a destination wedding and this was the first time a lot of our guest came to New Orleans. I worked with Amanda to organize our group event. It was on the second floor. The food was great and a good value. The bartenders did a great job. Everyone loved having the balcony over Bourbon Street to look at. Music was great. Everyone had a great time.
We love Bourbon Heat!! The best food, service and drinks!! Not to mention Kayla is the best!! I recommend this place as a must visit destination while in NOLA.
Kayla was awesome. She was very attentive at the bar. Will come back just to sit with her as our bartender😀
Love this place! It was recently renovated and it is literally the nicest place on bourbon street by far! The bartender Kayla is excellent and makes the best drinks! Super fun place during the day and at night. If you’re in town for a Saints game definitely come here to watch the game!
