The first time I went to the NOW, I left not feeling sure if I would come back. I gave this place a second try and Monica totally turned it around for me.Monica is hands-down one of the best massage therapists I’ve ever had! She asked me what my needs were and definitely met them, and more. I appreciate her quality of work, her healing hands and focusing on areas that needed extra love. The 80 minute massage was 100% worth it. Thank you Monica!Thank you also to the two ladies at the front desk who are kind, sweet and provided excellent customer service.

Entering to exit is exactly what you do at The Now. Once you enter their space you are transported to a dim lit room with the crashing waves of a land far away to get you ready for some relaxation. The monthly membership price is reasonable and I’ve paid it for a couple of months now. Once you find your preferred therapist, none of the add ons are needed. The Now signature massage is the way to go, the healer was too weak for my liking.… has it replaced my fav spot in Ktown? … for now it has, but I don’t see myself not going back to my fav spot. Thai massages are my absolute fav.Oh and they have 2hr free parking!Happy Munchies,aVeganAndHer

Very calming atmosphere with the sound of crashing waves. The aromas were soothing to the mind. Jamie was very good at getting the kinks out. I feel straighter and taller than when I went in. I’ll be back for sure.

The facility itself is great: Cushy tables and face cradles, nice linens which can be hard to find. The wave sound machine/sound system is amazing. Overall great ambience.This review is mostly for the spa manager Ko though. Theyre customer service skills are top notch and they made me feel very supported and cared for. Kos professionalism elevates the whole experience and because of them, I highly recommend this spa to anyone looking for a high quality experience

So happy The Now Massage opened in Pasadena. This massage studio is one of my favorites. The receptionist, Mirelly & Lauren, were so kind and friendly upon arrival. I was booked for a 50 Min Signature Now massage with Krysta (hands of an angel), and added on the The Gua Sha (HIGHLY RECOMMEND) its a service to the whole body which felt so great for my neck and back. I also added on the Herbal Heat Therapy which helps reduce tension and increase relaxation. The perfect combo for body love and relaxation. I ended with one last add on for the scalp renewal which was a lovely scented Ouai product to hydrate the scalp and was not oily at all. I highly recommend this massage studio for all your relaxation needs. No to mention, this location has a parking structure attached to the studio so its so easy and convenient - 90 mins free.I cant wait to come back, relax and reconnect with my body!

Everyone was lovely, as always! James massage was excellent!! He had the firm hand that I needed for my DT needs, and, he really addressed all of the areas that I needed him to focus on. He was very kind and professional. I would have a massage with James again, definitely! Julie

The NOW is a beautiful space from their bathrooms to their waiting room. Each of the massage rooms have ocean sounds playing and are separated by a cloth wall (?) instead of a drywall so you can hear noises/conversations from your neighbors. They also have a parking garage with free parking as well.I got a 50 minute swedish massage (The Now) and my husband got the energy balancing massage (The Healer). The massages were relaxing and got our knots out but we werent fans of their techniques where they use really slow movements. My masseuse Soshi had to go a bit deeper to get my knots out and focused on my problem area (neck/shoulder) so she barely worked on my arms/legs. She did a great job in 50 minutes since I came in really tight with sore muscles from my intense workouts a few days before.

It was my first time getting a massage. This place is SO perfect, it smells amazing, the staff is friendly, and the massage area is very relaxing. I got their signature massage + the scalp enhancement and I felt like a whole new person. Rhys, my massage therapist did a wonderful job! I am very excited to go back and I recommend this place to everyone, it is so worth it!!! :)

This place is a hidden gem! A beautiful, serene and extremely clean space for fantastic and affordable massages is really hard to find in LA, so I was thrilled to discover The NOW in Pasadena. Ive been to a full range of spas and massage spots (imcluding many luxury spas) and my massage from Jel-Wu was wonderful an incredible value for the price. I really appreciated his skill level and ability to adapt the massage to the areas where i needed more attention. The membership is a great deal and I would recommend that option to anyone who thinks they may come back more than once.

This location is fantastic! My therapist, Kaliq, has been a godsend. He took care of me all throughout my pregnancy and has helped bring so much relief to my tired, postpartum body. He’s very well skilled in his technique, is always in communication with what’s sore/tight/just needs extra attention and is overall a kind human. I highly highly recommend.Plus, they have easy parking which makes the whole experience so much more relaxing.

The Long Beach location is closer to my home but I will be a regular at this location from now on! Rachel is amazing!!! I have never felt so relaxed! Thank you to the Pasadena team everything was perfect.

INCREDIBLE!!! NOW Massage is a lovely massage boutique located in the heart of Pasadena. This is a much needed type of business since so many spas have closed over the course of a decade and even more so after the pandemic. The atmosphere is serene and has a boho, minimalistic-chic décor and vibe. Appointments can be made online or simply by calling — which I do appreciate because sometimes, you just need to talk to someone and get that massage booked before life takes over and you forget! My first visit went smoothly. There were just a few things Id recommend to the business to improve, but overall, its solid — you will get a great massage!To improve:- Its was COLD AF during the massage, despite the heated bed pad. The air vents were like on blast. Im a bit old fashioned, and well, cold air + moisture on on a bare body do not mix. Its a formula to get sick fast. I was so cold throughout the entire session, it was almost intolerable. I wanted to tell my therapist, but didnt want to ruin the vibe. Plus, I wasnt sure if theres anything she could have done since it was the central air system that was blowing.- The girls at the front were nice, but one of them was a bit condescending and had a slight attitude that would just tick you off, but not enough to like cause a scene. I just brushed it off because these days, I dont expect 5-star service anywhere. But I can see that being an issue down the line if a customer or the worker was having a bad day.- I had a 90 min. massage. They dont validate. By the time I got out to the car, I had went over the free parking limit. So I had to pay. Not a big deal, but I wish I knew ahead of time because the pay stations are cashless, and my credit card that day had issues reading. Had I known, I would have brought a second credit card for that reason.The good:- Great prices. Fun add-ons.- Wonderful massage therapist!- Theres nowhere else like this for miles away. (Unless its another NOW Massage location, lol)- Beautiful décor.- Very accessible.- Visibly clean bathroom and treatment area.Overall, I would recommend to family and friends and would come back to treat my sister or mom. I got the membership, but ended up cancelling because although theyre great, I still havent worked out my busy schedule to get a massage in for myself each month. I may join again in the future.

I love this location of the now. I’ve been to three other locations and I prefer this one the most because parking is a cinch, it’s much easier to book appointments, and the bathroom is also somewhat nicer. Love my therapists here.

Lissette is an amazing professional. She was able to detect and work on a wide range of problems I never even mentioned, and it was obvious that she was detecting these things rather than just doing the same on both sides; I said nothing about my hands but she spent a lot of time focusing on the pained parts of my right hand (due to all day computer use and a mouse Im holding all the time); when she got to the left, she didnt find the same thing and therefore didnt go into quite the same focussed detail. I am really looking forward to another session or 20 with her. Shes amazing.

Amazing and caring staff!!!I took my mom here to get a nice massage and to relax. The staff was so nice and caring made everything go so smoothly.They treated my mom with the utmost respect and she loved her massage. Will definitely be coming back.

My third visit to the NOW in Pasadena. Every visit has been excellent--especially the massage.

Russell gave focused attention to my lower and mid back. Feeling much needed relief. Excited to return.
