Bought $80 worth of vegan food to-go and probably liked $40 of it, but do you go to this place just for the food? The vibe looked awesome and it hadn’t even started. Some nights they have an Armenian DJ while other nights they have a belly dancer. Need to go back for the vibes, falafel and kibe.Happy Munchies,@aVeganAndHer

Great Mediterranean cuisine. The tastes are authentic and well presented. We went early on a weekday so was quite empty, but the atmosphere is designed for big parties.

We came in for drinks 🍸 and had one round of cocktails. The drinks were large and tasted nice. We also tried to order some food because we saw the food at the other tables and it looked good. They didnt put our order in, and by the time we finished our drinks we had to flag down a waiter to ask about the appetizer we had ordered, he went to the kitchen and came back and said it would be ready in five minutes. One of the guys in our group said that he accidentally walked in on a bunch of waiters sniffing something in the bathroom, so we decided to cancel the food order and pay our bill and leave. It could have been a great place, but we didnt have a great time. The food that other people were receiving looked good. I personally have no reason to go back to this location.

This is such a cool place! Love music, beautiful atmosphere, the best service, and the food was DELICIOUS. A favorite spot in Pasadena for me now. Its also pretty decently priced!! And they have hookah. Literally the perfect spot.

Man, I cant believe those guys! We were coming back from a long day at Disneyland and decided to grab some takeout from that restaurant. I ordered $200 worth of food and they told us it would take 40 minutes. But when I got there, they said it would be another 2 hours because they were swamped. The place was practically empty, with just one table, one server, and one bartender. I asked them to cancel the order because we couldnt wait that long, and they said OK. Later, I found out on the DoorDash app that they had marked our order as picked up. Its just crazy that they would rip off customers like that. They are not returning my money!

The food was below average; the BBQ was okay, but the overall experience was disappointing. The music was terrible, with the DJ playing old and strange tracks that seemed to cater only to a group of troublemaking customers. These customers were constantly trying to cause a fight, and the security guard just was smiling and did nothing. The DJ would play dance music for a minute, then switch to something completely nonsensical, making it impossible to enjoy the dance floor. We would start dancing, and within a minute, wed be confused by the abrupt change in music. We wont be coming back this was horrible experience that one can experience in 21 Century.

I very rarely leave negative reviews. I like to give the benefit of the doubt, and I strongly believe everyone deserves to survive and make a living, regardless of the quality of their work or their business. So it is not lightly that I say that this was quite possibly the worst dining experience I have ever had.I normally love Mediterranean food, so I was excited to try this place, expecting the 4.5 average review score would translate to a good example of it—especially in a place as nice as Old Pasadena. That is not what I encountered.The meat was overcooked and unseasoned, the pita was chewy, the hummus unremarkable, the vegetables were nearly raw and barely seasoned. I thought perhaps the drinks must at least be good to make up for the food, but when we finally got our drinks, I was sadly mistaken. I received the worst mojito Ive ever had; both my drink and my companions tasted like cough syrup.The staff largely ignored us, and generally gave the impression of being unhappy with our presence (with the sole exception of one friendly person working at the bar). I suspect they assumed we were underage, as they didnt offer us a drink menu until I asked, at which point they asked if we would like any soft drinks. I found this a bit absurd and was mildly offended, as a woman in her thirties. But even after ordering our drinks, their attitude toward us was unchanged. Clearly, a party of three queer adult women didnt fit the image of whatever they wanted their clientele to be.I gathered after the fact that the main draw of this place is the hookah and outdoor area with live music and performances; I didnt partake of either, but I can only hope it must be phenomenal to make up for the other aspects. However, having experienced all those things at other venues who also *do* have good food, I find it hard to imagine it truly making up for their shortcomings.I wouldnt fault them for poor food and drink if they primarily advertised as a hookah lounge with live music—but I find it deeply ironic that a place which calls itself a Bar & Grill was a disappointment at being both.I would recommend going to any of the myriad other restaurants and establishments within a minutes walk of this place.

This was a great find! We were just walking by and happened upon this place for dinner. It was around 5:30 and they were able to seat us without a reservation. The food was delicious and the courtyard has a great atmosphere. Heaters and enjoyable music. Highly recommend for Mediterranean cuisine in Pasadena!

Food was good, service was also solid. However, I know they offer hookah, but people were smoking cigarettes and this place allowed it. Also, we only had a party of two, and they added gratuity. Id understand if it was a larger party, but auto gratuity for two people, thats a stretch. Because of the cigarette smoking, Im never coming back here again.

Not good, food was not cooked well (meat has a blood) but they changed the plate when we complained, the atmosphere was not good as they played Lebanese and turkish music and the crowd wasnt happy about it, and when we asked to replace the songs but they ignored our request.

Friday, there is a set menu for $40 with too much food that is all delicious! There is belly dancing (very good belly dancing) and live music! It is really fun and quite busy. I highly recommend it!

Arrived at the restaurant when it was just beginning to open, which was a good thing because we were able to sit in the outside area which is really nice. I had the lamb chops and a spinach salad. The salad was huge and delicious. It had a lemon vinaigrette - very yummy and bright. A perfect compliment for lamb. The chops were tender and the quantity was perfect. Topped it off with bread pudding that was amazing!Everything was reasonably priced.There is a parking structure right across the street. You cannot get your ticket validated so you will have to pay for parking at $2 an hour which is not that big of a deal if youre just there for a meal.I was told theres quite a bit of entertainment and a festive atmosphere later in the evening. You should check it out!

Eden Garden Bar & Grill is a classic style restaurant with Mediterranean & Californian cuisine at Pasadena, on weekends they have DJ and different types of music by which everyone can dance and also they have belly dancing which is so beautiful and entertaining. They have also hookah and outdoor seating that is mostly used by hookah smokers. The staff are friendly and helpful.

This was second time I was there also I think would be last time, same as the first time the service was awful we were 14 persons, the waiter forgot to get drink order for some of us and brought one order by mistake (lamb shish kebob instead of lamb kebob) , as usual they served pita bread and butter so they brought it very late during the lunch serving time and it was completely clear they re-warm warmed pitas, so for this type of service they charged for service on the bill. Regarding the foods all foods were very salty specially kefta and lamb kebobs I think they tried to change the taste of low quality of meat under salt and spices, rice was very oily, greasy and non fresh look like the cooked on too much oil , the lamb shank was not fresh as my experience it was re warmed and cooked at least one day ago because the meat was darker than of fresh cooked meat, the chicken kebob and lamb kebob also were so salty and should chew more time for eating, may be the only good thing there, were the garnish and garlic deep sauce, so about the prices depend on the foods were higher than of other places those provide the same foods, may be they collected some customers cause of providing hooka and live music and belly dancer in the weekends but what I saw on Friday lunch time except us only two other table were occupied it seems the restaurant does not have much prosperity, by the way it would be better than one time the manager and business owner go to the Armenian-Persian or Persian restaurants like Raffi place, Shiraz, Shamshiri, Nerses and Sadaf and try the same foods and figure out how to tenderize, marinate and cook rice, kefta kebob, chicken kebob, lamb shank , lamb kebob and...

I’ve been the DJ here, along with others a bunch of times now. It’s always a good vibe. If you haven’t been here lately, you probably haven’t seen the new inside layout. It’s a much nicer setup. The staff is really friendly and easy to work with. Food is top notch. And the DJs cater to the guests that night. Usually it’s a mixture of American, Arabic, Armenian, Persian and Spanish guests. There is an inside and an outside section for seating. The outside patio seems the more popular of the two. Parking is fairly easy. There is a structure across the street as well as valet parking.

Cannot go wrong with this place. We ordered a bunch of appetizers and a couple of entrees and everything was delicious. My favorite local Lebanese food. Highly recommend it.

Extremely happy with our experience with Eden Garden!!! We found this place online and chose it as the place to have dinner on our sons birthday / intimate civil wedding. We called ahead to make a reservation for our group as we were around 30 people and everyone was extremely courteous and professional. We didnt really customize our experience but in our contract we saw that you definitely can for any event! The ambiance was happy and wonderful with the other happy groups in the tables around us, the food was amazing and plentiful, their beautiful belly dancer Anastasia gave an amazing performance and had the best energy. The DJs music was honestly perfect! He mixed a bit of everything and it went well together even if it were in different languages and from different eras. I hope our group treated you as well as you treated us. 🫶We cant wait to come back for anniversary dinners and more! Everyone in our group was impressed with Eden Garden. Thank you!

Nice place. Street parking, no designated parking lot. Went on a Friday night without reservations and got a table right away. There was a belly dancer and the music was lively. We enjoyed outdoor seating with fans/ac that keeps you cool on a hot summer night. There is a dance floor and live DJ. Didnt order any food so I cant speak to that but I definitely had a nice time. Will update review if I go again and try their food.

Unique restaurant with a cool vibe. The food was delicious! Was pleasantly surprised that there was belly dancing the night that I went. 😊 The staff was also really friendly too. The photographer was especially sweet! She gushed about my eyes and made me feel special. ❤️

Very good Mediterranean food with a pretty lively atmosphere. Popular location for large private parties with both a large patio and indoor area. Service was prompt and friendly with a menu containing all the traditional Greek and Mediterranean favorites.

Attended a bachelorette party here. Friendly staff but non-intrusive. They kept magically appearing with more food that was amazing and delicious. A perfect venue ❤️Oops, I was enjoying myself too much....no pics of the food 🙈

The food portions are generous and the cost is reasonable. The music and dancing made for an experience with having again and again. The hummus and mixed grill for 2 were tasty.

This place used to be fun but not anymore. They charged us $50 per person for a preset menu. The dinner was served at 11:45 PM. For ten people we got two platters with a serving of rice enough to fill one person. The chicken kabob was raw and the looleh kabob was stale. The music, though fun, is so incredibly loud, it’s painful to sit through after an hour. Would not recommend.

I swear, Pasadena is filled with hidden gems, & I discover them all of the time! Ive caught the Gold Line train @ the Memorial Park station regularly & never even noticed this place until last night! Had dinner with my friends & it was delicious! (I love good Mediterranean food! Their baba ganoush was super flavorful!) Service was excellent & the waiters were sooo handsome! 😍 Plus, they have free live entertainment & great music! (Besides the free eye candy 😅 👀🍬) Will def go again!

Reservations on weekends are a must! The hosts were kind and accommodating which allowed my group to visit over the weekend. They served a pre fixed menu for $45/pp which was absolutely amazing. The food was delicious and consisted of many items I hadnt ordered before. Glad we tried them- it was worth it. The patio was decorated beautifully and they had a DJ and belly dancer. We had a truly wonderful time.

The food is amazing. The service is beyond excellent and the hooka and the ambiance was the most fun we’ve had at a middle eastern establishment in ages. Highly recommend.Come hungry and bring friends.

This is one of our favorite spots in Pasadena. Its definitely a hidden gem. The food is great--hummus, pitas, kebobs, rice, veggies, etc--and the service is always outstanding. We love the ambience with an indoor/outdoor patio, lights, and plants all around. And the prices are excellent as well since most dishes feed two or more.

I was there for a wedding and they did a great job at the venue. Not sure if the food was from an outside caterer or if it was from the restaurant kitchen. Either way, it was a very nice with a great atmosphere. The patio gave fresh air but was heated as the weather was a bit cool that day. The place was clean and seemed to be quite accommodating to the bride and grooms requests. Good spot!

Loved it but took too long to bring each course. Was there from 7:30 till 11:15 left before cake was served to long!! Good was delicious 😋

Food is expensive/overpriced and tastes just ok. Everything was heavy on the lime/citrus/vinegar flavors. The third course (meat) came out after waiting 2.5 hours and asking many times.Lots of families there. Huge space good for events.Live music (keyboardist and singer) add a good energy but the music was way too loud & it’s difficult to have a conversation.

Staff was very attentive to our needs. We had an employer sponsored training session there yesterday. The food that they served at lunch was tasty and they even had vegan choices.

I want to go back to see more of the architecture of that building which is a great excuse to try more of the food.

Nice atmosphere and descent decor. This place is good for parties and large size group events (about 90 to 100 comfortably). Food quality is good but nothing crazy special. The amount of food you get for the price could be better (that depends on the plate you order, the type of sides, how busy they are, and who’s prepping your plates)

We like the outdoor/patio seating because we smoke hookah. They are pretty quick with the hookah when you order.Food is excellent, a huge variety of appetizers (mezzah). Waiters are very attentive and efficient.The ambiance is great, they always have a dj and belly dancers on Friday nights, great vibes.If you come here, you will have a great time.

Best Birthday with my Sisters! Appetizers were great but the meats were overcooked. I really enjoyed the belly dancing! Excellent place for parties and gatherings.

Super tasty food, everything was made with quality ingredients and a special touch. The DJ was good, so we danced and enjoyed the belly dancer. The cocktails were great and my friends were enjoying smoking their hookah . Paid 11$ (+ $4 tip) for valet parking, $20 for pictures so be prepared with extra cash for all those things ,tips for belly dancer, etc.

The meat was rare on my order. Ive talked to the server and he took my dish back so they can cook it to be well done. After getting the dish again I did not like it because it still wasnt cooked to a degree that I would like. Hope this will help.

Great selection of burgers salads and dogs. Priced fair, great flavor. Convenient location, lots of parking.One thing they dont do is ask how you want your meat cooked. I prefer medium, mine was more medium well. Onion rings are crunchy without being over cooked. Casual place with beer and wine selection.

Our first time at this place was last Sunday everything about this place is above 5 stars food and dessert so delicious , perfect hookah , great service and very nice people around . The owner has great hospitality skills and very nice atmosphere in 200 years old historic building. We had a great time. we will be back for sure soon.

Great place in Pasadena for some Mediterranean food, drinks, and hookah!We came for a friends birthday with a group of roughly 16 people. Since our group was this big, we had to do a set menu. It was either $35 or $45 per person. We went for the $35 option and the food was still pretty good.Whats cool about this place is that they have Live Belly Dancers who come around and dance with each individual person as well.They have valet parking at the front but I recommend parking across the street at the structure for $5.

We did not eat here, we actually came to have a beer or two and hit the hookahs. The staff is very accommodating and polite. The Lebanese beer was quite nice but it was the hookah that was most impressive.I have never smoked in my entire life, nor am I tempted, but this, THIS is different. Smooth, flavorful selections of tobacco (we had watermelon, kiwi, and orange/mint. I do not know how to explain it, but its just relaxing and enjoyable.I cannot provide a comparison to differentiate them from any other hookah bar, but I was very impressed, and this is coming from.a non-smoker.

Staff is very nice and respectful. Food is average and atmosphere isnt the best. When it gets packed you have hardly any room to walk. Dance floor is very small inside. Do yourself a favor, never sit inside; you will go deaf by the end of your event.

Went there on a quiet wednesday, our waiter was Anes (I believe that was his name) and he was super friendly and helped us choose the best dishes on the menu. Great place for vegetarians!The baklava is a-m-a-z-i-n-g! We also loved the ashta with honey.Will definitely come back soon :)

Poor air circulation for such a big venue and for howuch they pack the the tables in! Was cool outside but a hot mess inside. The tables are too narrow for the amount of food they brought out! 1 wider tables would made all the difference for our group of 12! But then theyd have 1 less row & make less $$$ 😖😜 But wed all be soOoooo much happier. Only the vegetarian options were good. All meats dry but Chkn super dry!! 🤬. Even the rice that came w meats was bland & dry :( good thing there was a belly dancer & lots of wine & champagne.Will not go there again on purpose 💥

Went here for the first time with my girlfriend and we had just ordered a bunch of appetizers for dinner and loved every one! Great food, great service, and great atmosphere. The hummus sampler specifically was awesome.

My friends and I love this place. So much so I am planning my bday dinner there. It will be our third time back there in the past three months. It is superior to the other restaurants that share the same name. I think it is a small chain. The food was excellent and they give substantial portions. On weekends they also have a belly dancer and a DJ. It can get booked up well in advance on holidays and weekends so I recommend calling your reservation in advance. For a December dinner on a Saturday night we booked one month in advance and our group of 5 took the last available table.

Eden Garden is a wonderful location, and the covered patio was beautiful. Great food and a nice selection. Incredible staff and service. Reasonable prices. We had a large group, with only a couple of hours notice, and they graciously accommodated us, including separate checks.

Underwhelming food and not enough options. Different foods tasted the same as they were fried in the same oil. Trash. Nowhere what it used to be. DJ was amazing, and thats he only reason they are probably still in business.

It wasnt what it seemed, they didnt seat us in the section we reserved and it was way overpriced for 4 people and 6 drinks $245.00 total and they take the tip out of the meal and drinks seperate. A whopping 18% automatically. They seemed to forget about us after the beginning appetizer round. The belly dancer never made an appearance and it took 20 minutes to pay the check. The food was all the sameHumus this and hummus that. Idk what kind of meat they served us??I wont miss going back

Took mom here for lunch. Been trying to come here for months. Service was excellent. Friendly, fast and accommodating. Details were great such as mint leaves with tea and olives and radish to start. Mom had Southwest pasta. It wasnt overcooked (as she prefers...I know. I was embarrassed) so they redid the plate (server asked, I didnt)! (THANK YOU!!!!). Mom absolutely loved the cream sauce!I had the chicken shawarma. It was the best plate Ive had in a long time. We also ordered the hot sampler. Loved it!Finally had a dessert of cream with bananas, strawberry, pistachios and honey. We died and went to heaven! (What is the name of this dessert??)Mom cant cook anymore due to her health so I take her out several times a week. We are already planning our next visit here! Its always hard to find a location big enough, but not a ballroom. Enough staff, but not too expensive. Room to have entertainment, but not a warehouse. And... With wonderful Mediterranean food. Eden Garden is a hit and an amazing place to celebrate or simply share food with friends. And, the weekend vibe with belly dancing is simply icing on the cake. Loved it!

My wife and I booked Eden for our wedding rehearsal dinner because they had charmed us so much when we were looking for a wedding venue but were just a bit too small for our event size. But it was perfect for our rehearsal dinner of about 35, so we booked their upper patio area which gave us a nice cozy alcove just enough away from the rest of the restaurant to give us a bit more privacy and feel very homey and comfortable.And let me tell you about the food. We went with their deluxe catering package because it wasnt that much different in price from the basic and thought it would be fun to splurge a bit. And so we sat with our friends and family happily munching on all the delicious appetizers as they were brought out. Thats when it dawned on us after like the 10th appetizer that we hadnt even hit the main course! You should have seen everybodys eyes when that sunk in. We were surrounded by mounds of delicious food! In the end, we had to foist giant catering boxes of food onto people to take home because we were all stuffed to the gills.Though it did make putting on our wedding outfits the next day a bit difficult, I am so glad we went with Eden. They were courteous and very accommodating while planning the event and the staff were all very kind and great during the dinner. And of course, the food was wonderful! If you want to drown in delicious food, Eden is the place to go.

Beautiful swanky lounge. Exactly what youd expect from a nice Pasadena, bar. It was busy enough on a Wednesday night but we still found a table. Their tea infused vodka is a must try!

This is our “backyard” we frequent this place so often it feels like our back yard. Good food, great employees, good atmosphere. Great for large group get togethers and parties any time of day.

We love the food and ambiance and have been many times but it seems like the portion sizes have gone down and the quality of the drinks and desserts we ordered are lower too and described wrong. My husband asked the waiter which meal had the most meat and he recommended the steak kebab which was about $20. It came with one kebab worth of meat about 5 pieces.. someone else ordered the pita/sandwich and it had the more meat for half the price! Misleading. My hubby left hungry and the bill was way over $100 for 3 people. My Godiva Chocolate Martini was missing the godiva chocolate and didnt taste like chocolate at all and the Creme Brule didnt taste right. It just tasted like a cheap pudding with carmelized sugar on top. The ambiance cant be beat but hope this is not a trend.

The wait staff was awesome. The waitress was willing and very helpful in giving recommendations for us to try, as it was our first time.

Service was excellent, everyone at my party love the food, and they were able to accommodate us at the last minute after the other restaurant pulled out at the last minute. Highly recommend!

Outside of slow service, its pretty good. Good selection of yummy Mediterranean dishes and the outdoor seating is really nice. Its covered and cool and the lights and decorations give the area a great feel.

I went there once for a late lunch. No other customer was there. The owner was working on the register. I told him I was hungry and wanted something quick. He suggested something that I cant remember but was really good. Then he took care of me with the best customer service service. This place deserves a 5 star.

Try the hummus, for real best thing I had. The chicken was good but the beef was dry. Have some excellent vegetarian options. The bartenders were excellent and would trust them to make anything.

Found the Eden Garden Bar & Grill by accident just driving around after our intended spot had a long line. We heard the music and stopped, and we were glad we did. Nice family and friends atmosphere even though some might say the hookah smoke in the patio area and kids arent a good mix. Reasonable prices, good food and a middle eastern ambiance made for an enjoyable evening.

The food is decent. Entertainment is hit or miss. Also they need to fix the roof. Went on a rainy day and they had to move us several times because we kept getting rained on.

Okay servers. But my gf and I both got the wrong order. We ordered a lamb kebob, but one of the squares was beef for some reason. The food was average at best and pricey. Id rather go to Zankou for much cheaper and better tasting food

Been here a few times, hookah isnt my favorite thing but al my friends love it and this a nice spot off the beaten path. Food is well prepared and seasoned and the Hookah is good. Great place for large parties

I was quite impressed with the food and the prices are very reasonable. My waiter served me the wrong sides but I didnt complain because could have gone either way with my side orders, but when receiving the check the waiter apologized for the wrong sides and went to the kitchen and gave me my sides to go. I wish I would have gotten his name.

For a place that calls themselves Mediterranean, Youre food was the furthest from it. A little clue to the chef- the whole essence of Mediterranean/ middle Eastern cuisine is the rich and different flavors and spices that take your tastebuds and your mind to places that you dont experience regularly. Everything on the menu was horribly bland! Not very Mediterranean. We were there Saturday with a huge party, and the best things on the menu were the hummus, baba ganoush, lebni, and the pita. Oh I forgot the johnnie walker black label. And the service was sub par at best.

We just attended a wedding here and it was beautiful and the food was great. The patio area its just beautiful.The staff was awesome.There is parking across the street for a few bucks.

I have no expertise in this cuisine, but I had the impression they go deeper into Mediterranean cuisine (what to call it? Persian? Moroccan?) than the typical falafel joint around Los Angeles.

2 suggestions to the owner( Hire a professional chief)I know reality hurts and sorry about that.Food is sub-par ,bland and over priced(Fix your layout ) table setup is a chaotic

Its ok if you like mostly Armenian music. Food is plentiful. Lots of smoking taking place, mostly hookahs.

34$ hookah ,horrible grill ,couple of (appetizesr) prepared by a handyman , basicaly what you pay for is as a charity donation to the restaurant not for the food they serve ,skip this place its a nightmare

Tried three dishes: kefta was very dry, fillet mignon was hard and chewy, and chicken smelled bad and was not marinated well. Do not recommend!
