WORST MOTEL EVER! I booked for four nights, after my family and I walked in for a few minutes we walked straight out!! I put my family in the vehicle loaded our items went to the front desk advised of ALL the issues, manager asked if I wanted another room I said HELL NO I am not staying in the place. On the way to the office I was approached by two men smoking weed and drinking right outside the office. I felt so unsafe, the room was DISGUSTING, beds were dirty, restroom shower was leaking, restroom door didn’t close it was a legit nightmare. Owner said he approved the refund and guess what… now they’re saying I will not get a refund because I stayed. Biggest fraud ever. I even have proof that I booked a different hotel right after which I checked in too. Cameras in the area can see me leaving and only coming back to verify refund approval. I went 3 times spoke to the same manager which all 3 times stated it was approved and he remembered me.This place is a fraud disgusting excuse for a business. Priceline emailed and the manager stated they will not refund because I used the room. Such a lie police reports need to be made to this area so they can close down! We deserve our money back if we do not stay due to falsely advertising. The freaking pool was even drained what in the world! This place is a joke! Save your money because it’s a scam and you will get bed bugs if you sleep in those beds!

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! We booked a 2 night stay go to the room and it was a disaster. The ac wouldnt plug in stains everywhere so we walked back and told the person at the front desk and left. We was told we would get our money back but its been 3 weeks with no refund.

This place was a complete dump. Its over priced for the quality of the room. I got bites from bugs. Dirty sheets and bed covers. I do not recommend even pulling in parking lot with its steep inclined entrance.

I book a room online and when I arrive, the girl at the front desk told me that I should not check in because there was no clean towels, and no hot water, and she said they should have told me when I book it, and they will refund my money,so I went to another motel, I have call to get my money back it’s going to 2 weeks and no one contacted me about my money, I have talk to customer service and they say they will review and contact me as of now nothing , this motel need to be torn down and rebuilt do not stay here the pictures online probably when they first built the motel this place is a dump drugs hookers etc hang around here

1) The pool outside was completely drained and filthy. There was a stained mattress propped up against the pool fence.2) The hallways outside of the rooms were hardly cleaned, the same empty bottles stayed where they were my entire weeklong stay.3) The box spring covers in my room were severely stained by darkish bodily fluids, blood maybe?4) There were roaches all throughout the room, as well as black mold growing along the bathroom ceiling.5) The only thing room service appeared to do was take dirty towels and MAYBE replace them with clean ones. Trash was never taken care of and beds were never made. It appeared that the workers only really cared about cleaning the rooms once the people left for good.6) The room reeked of cigarettes which sadly you got used to if you stayed long enough.This is the first time I ever reviewed something because the experience was so horrible. I ended up leaving a day early.

Terrible dishonest business. They told me upon check in that my booking through through Expedia could not be honored and they charge $80 per person. So I had to pay the difference between my online booking and what I paid on Expedia. This is a deceptive trade practice and federally illegal, I will be reporting to the federal trade commission and finding an attorney to consider a class action. Now on to the service, I booked a king size bed and I get two full beds. I go back and ask for the room I booked and they gave me a key for a room that I unlocked and there was a sleeping person in the bed(yes they gave me a key to someone elses room.) They then finally give me a room with a king bed, and there are no towels in the room and no toilet paper, and I found a roach in the nightstand. Absolutely disgusting hotel. They gave us fresh towels in the morning and one of them was still stained with what appeared to be feces. The guy up front asked me not to record him as I recorded the interaction about the increased cost while standing in front of a screen with about 20+ cameras on it, I guess with his broken English he doesnt quite understand the rights of US citizens. Unbelievable.

Dont pay oyo hotel phenix city Central anything hotel is owned by buget but oyo is taking people money and when you get to hotel you have to pay them money because hotel has different name and owners so oyo is getting peoples money illegal trust me doing fall for there scam.......

If I could give zero stars I would. They lure you to m with a “locked in” price off of a website, tell you to lock the price on by paying from your phone, then charge you extra to check in. They wanted 21$ extra from the 49$ that was locked in on the site. This is not only dishonest but illegal. There was no mention of elevated fees upon check in. Steer clear of this hotel. For 80-100$ a night you can stay in a better establishment.

Unfortunately, you will not pay the price that is stated on your reservation. You will have to pay more at the front desk upon check in. If the owner of the property feels the third party sites don’t charge enough for the rooms, then pull your listing. It is very frustrating to go through a bait and switch when it comes to hotel/motel reservations. Avoid this property at all costs.

Horrible experience please don’t be fooled by the low online rates they charge full price at check in. These are the real pictures of this property don’t know where the pictures on the website came from. They will respond about checking the property but this entire hotel needs to be shut down. I don’t see how Phenix City,Al allows them to stay in business. I looked at several rooms and this was the best they had to offer me for $80 a night. PLEASE BEWARE OF THE PLACE.

The Oyo company took payment and booked a room in a hotel that was no longer associated with Oyo. Still havent gotten contact from them.

STAY AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL. We flew from Las Vegas and booked the Oyo hotel. Upon arrival the staff member who appeared to be a manager told us they do NOT HONOR ONLINE PRICES AN THEY WILL NOT TAKE ANYTHING LESS THAN $70 for their dirty, nasty, unprofessional, stanky, infested, over priced, false advertisement hotel. And that’s me being nice. This is a perfect place for those who do drugs. Run away stay away … if you have any love or respect for your family .. RUNNNNN from this hotel hell!!!! Definitely not worth $70 or even FREE. “Your welcome…”

Awful place and company. They sell you the room over the phone by offering a small discount and when I showed up they wanted an additional $11 fee to check in.This location also has GPS issues, Waze will take you to a Krystal drive through restaurant, this motel was about a half mile from the GPS. When I finally found it there are no signs at all to identify the property, We are next to the Holiday Inn Express is how I was told to get there after wandering around the Krystal and calling the reservation number demanding to be put in touch with the local property for directions.The courtyard was dirty and unkempt. I recall seeing a drained pool that looked in rough shape.The room was a dump, probably the worst motel room Ive ever stayed in my 40 years of traveling. Half the window was broken out with a board covering it. A dingy room with knocked up walls had a stiff bed in it. I didnt bother or care about the few amenities because thankfully I only needed the room to get about 4 hours sleep before moving on. In the end it was $63 for that nap, I should have just cat napped in the car but Columbus is sketchy these days....

Zero stars if I could give that rating. Booked online. Spent more than an hour trying to find this hotel. Google maps takes you to a Captain Ds restaurant. Called the property and got automated answer system that would never put me through to a live person. Ended up having to book another hotel at 11:30 P.M in order to get a place to rest after a 16 hour day. Tried to contact them for a refund because even though we never checked in, because the place is impossible to find, they charged me full price. They would not provide a refund but after hours of back and fourth with their parent company Agoda, and threatening to publish bad reviews, they said the would give me a credit to stay at one of their properties in the future. I have news for them, I will never stay in one of their properties again and neither should you.

I see all these bad reviews but it’s all cheap poor people picking the cheapest hotel in a 100 mile radius lol what do u expect. A Marriott suite?

WORST EVER! I travel professionally & this by far is the worst ****hole Ive ever had the misfortune of being trapped in. (not counting jail) The address is wrong. The NAME is wrong Oyo? Phoenix Inn? Hell? Who knows? I book a room via the telephone with a customer service rep in India. Pay $55. Get here and the very rude desk clerk says it will be $70. No reason given other than our policy. So I ask to cancel the room. He said I have to call the same local number (not a 1-800 number) he couldnt issue a refund. Another person in India tells me it will be 7 to 14 biz days before I am refunded. I dont have $ for another room anywhere else so I am forced to pay the extra $15 or stay nowhere. It takes 30 mins to finally get a key. THERE ARE NO PILLOWS, no phone, no remote, no soap, no shampoo or conditioner, NO TOWELS, no washcloths, NO TOILET PAPER, no tissues, the sink has no running water and the smell is awful! I told the man at the front desk only about the pillows (before I discovered everything else was also missing) and he DIDNT BELIEVE ME until I showed him a picture on my phone! After 10 minutes waiting outside he said he didnt have the key to get me any pillows and asked me to sleep on my hands! Saying there will be some pillows in the morning?!?! Every room has busted windows or bullet holes, there are NO electrical outlets to charge my phone, no wifi and there are numerous rudely worded signs everywhere suggesting that all customers smoke weed in the rooms and threatening $750+ charges if there is weed smell upon checkout ...well, it smells like someone just smoked in here as soon as I walked in and Im a daily cigarette smoker! Pictures warning against *backing into* 0arling spaces and threatening tow?!?! Top to bottom this place IS AWFUL. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!!!!!!!!

Sorry but this hotel isnt worth the one star but i had to select it anyways. I am highly unsatisfied with my stay at the hotel. The first room I was put in had blood on the pillow, hair all in the bed and ashes all over the room. I told the front desk clerk about it and she switched rooms for me. The room she put me in didnt have a shower curtain, no towels, stains all over the beds and no water pressure. I had to book over the phone and when I went to check out I was told I couldnt get a refund for my $130. I would not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.

This review is about the alleged OYO Hotel in Phenix City on the Bypass. I got this reservation through a third-party that pretended to be with the hotel. It was a scam. But not nearly as awful as OYOs scam-like lies. The address on Google and GPS location of this hotel leads you to an empty lot. On Christmas Day, it took me two hours of driving up and down the road to figure out there was actually no OYO hotel in that location. I contacted OYO and they gave me the local number and I called to figure out what happened. I asked the rude woman on the phone for the location and she gave me some murky directions.The actual hotel related to the booking is in another location down the road, looks nothing like the photos, is some rundown dump with a completely different name (Phenix Inn) and no swimming pool that was in the pictures. I was mortified and knew I would never stay there. At first, OYO said they could not refund my money because the third-party reservation was non-refundable. However, the OYO misrepresentation was too much to take. Classic bait and switch! I was at the property and was going to call the police. Then suddenly, I could have my money back for a reservation at an empty lot/rundown hotel. I dont understand how anyone can run a business like this.

I stayed at OYO a year ago and the improvements are lovely! Pool area is beautiful! You can tell so much work had already been done and yes it still has more coming.They have worked very hard to rebuild where squalor once was. Go see for yourself. I had extra and towels cups. The rooms and the bathrooms were spotless!! Im have allergies so I had a.c. cleaned extra well but comparatively theyre doing s great job and Ill be staying there again every chance I get.I cant wait to see the rest of the improvements!! Thanks again for a charming stay!!

These issues have been discussed and addressed with upper management and still 2 years later they are still having these same problems. So upper management really has not addressed anything

I dont like to be the person who leaves awful reviews, but this was a terrible experience. The place doesnt have the correct address and was hard to find. They dont have a sign at all. There is truly no way to identify them. The name listed isnt even the name of this place. Its above and beyond shady and not at all what is promised. On top of that we reserved a room online, after looking for the place for over an hour got there, not only found out that that GAVE OUR RESERVATION TO SOMEONE ELSE, they had no other rooms, and the girl running the front desk was clearly on something.

I had booked two rooms over the phone for 5 people total. We were evacuating from Hurricane Ida and I told the agent over the phone that it was five of us. While checking in the guy tells me I would have to pay for a third room because three people could not be in one room. Now the rooms I booked each had two beds. My son and daughter-n-law would sleep in one and I would have the other. I felt he was trying to take advantage of me because he knew we were Hurricane Ida Victims. I refused to pay for a third room. The rooms had an odor and were not up to par. I was so disappointed. After getting past the rooms needing to updated and cleaned better. The elderly lady who I assumed to be the owner was very unpleasant. She yelled at the elderly man and I witnessed her yelling at two other men at the property all within an hour of us being there. It was horrible to witness a woman speaking to a man this way. We were not informed that the hotel had a night club there on the friends directly across from our rooms. The loud music and drunk people all out laughing in from of our rooms at 2am was annoying because we were exhausted and stressed not knowing if we would have a home to get back too. Very uncomfortable experience.

Id give 0 stars if that was an option. Dont stay here!!! Trash and dirty diapers all over the parking lot. Danny Patel if thats his real name will try to scam you. He wont accept Expedia reservations or reservations from the oyo Web site because he didnt take the payment himself so hell try to upcharge your stay thinking you cant go anywhere else.

Drive through the parking lot so you have a story to tell. This isnt a place for women or children. Its a place for desperation and broken dreams. Ive stayed in hostels in cartel country in Mexico. I would not stay here. That they even respond to these reviews amazes me. If they are actually concerned about image the owners/managers should stand in the lot and just look at the place. You cant con people about the quality of the place where they lay their heads.

Gross, gross, gross. My husband and I took a trip through state parks in Ga and Al and picked this hotel as we only needed a place to crash and shower after hiking all day and this place was BARELY that. I honestly would have felt better sleeping in my car. No alarm clock, no phone, no microwave. The toilet flusher was held together with tape, stained shower curtain, graffiti on the walls and paintings in the room, no ice buckets. Absolutely no customer service whatsoever.

I called this place and the owner insisted sending me a link to book immediately before I got in town. Luckily I waited and drove into the parking lot before I decided to book this place. OMG, almost all the rooms have mattresses and furniture leaning up against the windows, there are old mattresses and refrigerators and furniture thrown all over the parking lot, the exterior is overgrown and there are people living there in a few rooms that look like they are half way habitable. I saw some videos from the parties in the bar that is connected to the motel and I would not go within a mile of this place. I would not be surprised if there are shootings here every week. Apparently they charge $10 per person to use that pool also

Probably the first time Ive ever checked out of a hotel after midnight. Manager was nice but Google Maps couldnt find the hotel because the address was wrong. Hotwire said this is a 2.5 star hotel. I would say its a one-star Hotel trying to upgrade to a two star but not doing a good job. First room I checked into smell like mildew and smoke. The next room I checked into smelled okay and had a newer renovation but I couldnt fall asleep because of some kind of harsh chemicals in the sheets. There was molds on the furniture and the floor with some kind of weird cheap material. When you see the TV nailed into the desk I guess you know what kind of people are there as well. And the fridge at clearly been turned on and off but nobody bothered to check the room to notice the big pool of condensation.

It was obviously not as clean as it could be. Other than it being slightly dirty , they need a new cleaning person, the place is very nice and our room was spacious. The shower was perfect and the man that checked us in was very sweet and professional. The room could have been cleaner. Everything else was perfect.

I knew by the price that this wasnt a luxury hotel. But I was going to sleep one night, take a shower, and depart in the morning. The room was clean, but dated. The HUGE tv was not only working, but there was limited cable access. For the price, I didnt expect any amenities, but there was a small refrigerator, a microwave, and a safe, none of which I needed, but they were there and in working order. I checked.For the freezing weather that night, the heat/ac unit worked perfectly, making the temperature in the room very comfortable.In the breezeway were an ice machine and a vending machine.The location was perfect for me, with very easy access.There was a lounge off the lobby, with live music in the evening, and simple bar food was available.The one and only thing I needed that the room didnt have was a trash can. If I travel to Phoenix City again, I will definitely stay here again... only next time Ill bring a garbage bag.

Got to the hotel and was told our reservation was voided as the hotel had been sold. DO NOT USE. Very unprofessional

This is the absolute worst motel!! When we arrived we were informed there was no hot water. Ok I can deal with that. My daughter had just seen her first college game and we were exhausted!! Well we tried to stay positive when we passed a mattress leaning in the stairway. It was a little more off when we passed two rooms with the beds flipped against the wall. The pool was drained. When we arrived in our room it was disgusting!! The mattresses sank when she tried to sit on it. There was a kitchen table next to the dresser but no chairs the lamps didn’t work the bathroom was disgustingly dirty and the carpet looked like it hadn’t been cleaned since 1990!! My daughter was crying and scared to stay there!!! After seeing this I walked down and informed the manager he said ok no refund and walked away. I drove over 4 hours home I’d never let a dog sleep in those conditions. The pictures online show a nice place talking about coat and switch!!!

The first room I was put in had bugs crawling all over both beds. I went down to the front desk to request a new room. I was told that there were no more beds that met my accommodations (two double beds). I then asked for a king bed with a pull out couch and the front desk agent said he didn’t know which room had a couch. So I was then placed in a HORRIBLE ROOM. The locks on the door were broken, the bath tub and refrigerator were dirty, the roof in the bathroom was growling mold, there were holes in the walls everywhere that roaches kept coming out of, the walls were falling apart , the floor was dirty and sticky, it was always hot and musty in the room, and there was hair stuck in several different places. No batteries in the remote. No couch or chair. There was also no trash can in the room so we had to carry all trash outside

Dirty hotel with rude and disrespectful staff. If you book online be prepared for additional fees at the hotel and refusal of the online payment. I will be reporting to the city and the BBB as well. Their business licenses need revoked.

First of all.... if I could rate zero stars I would. My fiancé and I questioned staying here from the very beginning due to the reviews, but when we saw that there was new management we figured we would give it a try. WE SHOULD HAVE LISTENED. After driving around for 20min trying to locate the place (bc the address is wrong) we finally got ahold of someone to tell us what it’s near (bc they don’t have a sign and it is not the pictures posted). We still needed somewhere to sleep so we hoped once we got into our room we would be ok. Once again.... we were wrong!!!! Let me set the scene.... walking up to our room there was trash all over the ground. After inserting our room key 7 times the door finally opened (for the most part). But you could tell that the door was not secure. Opening the door and an instant smell of mold hits you almost to immediate headache. (We knew from that moment we were not staying here) We continued into the room though to get photos for our refund... we knew it was bad but didn’t know it was going to be this bad!!! The bed was not clean and you could tell someone had layed on it and looked like someone else just grabbed a pillow to nap on the couch. They spilled some sticky substance on the desk and didn’t even bother wiping it up (let alone clean and disinfect for Covid). The sink had little black hairs all in it and the bathtub looked like something you would see in a SAW movie. Dirty and moldy. The water was dripping constant dark brown water and half of the lights didn’t work.I honest to God do not see how this hotel is still able to house any living creature for even a second. It should be listed as a hazard.You could tell what this hotel is being used for and how the property owner looks the other way.When we brought it to the attention of the worker and how we needed a refund and they should be ashamed... he proceeded to point to a paper sign that has “no refund after checkin” written on it. As if we have a choice to look at our room BEFORE we checkin???? Absolutely ridiculous!!!If you care at all for yourself or your family..... please do not book this hotel.We booked through a 3rd party and now having to fight for a refund.... bc get this.... it’s up to the property manager to decide if we get a refund!!! 😂 like he cares???Please look somewhere else!

RUDE. IGNORANT.Do NOT waste your time on this place.They DO NOT HONOR ONLINE PRICES.I received the most vile treatment by the horrible little toad of a man at the front desk.Instead of greeting me when I arrived, he began a litany of how they do not do online bookings. Not once was he pleasant. Not once did he smile. What a rotten miserable little man.I was forced to involve a customer service rep from Hopper. The way he spoke to the Hopper representative was unprofessional and unacceptable. Rather than honor the price I already paid, I was not given a room for even one night. He wanted to charge me more in order to stay. Disgusting. Dont stay here.

This hotel looks nothing like it does online. Its ran down the tub was nasty it had flying roaches. We literally checked in took our bags to our room and literally left and got another hotel we didnt even care about the money. Not to mention they charge to get in the pool and thats rediculous because the pool is apart of the hotel stay so you mean to tell me Im paying to stay in a hotel and have to pay to get in the pool. I wouldnt recommend this hotel to ANYBODY because when you get there you are going to be greatly disappointed

Very unprofessional. Floors are greasy/oily. There’s dirt all over the walls. Holes in the walls, no phone in the room, ac barely works can’t tell what it’s set on. Bathtub was dirty, tv doesn’t work and when I googled the hotels direct number, again because no phone in the room, and I got the experience customer service contacts. She refused to let me speak to another representative so I hung up and had to call back all in all it took 4 hrs to get the tv replaced but nothing else was changed. The beds are old and raggedy. I will never stay here again.

I wish I could give -5 stars. I booked through hotel.com and when I arrived to the address there were nothing but shrubs. Literally it was the side of the highway. I was unable to get anyone from the hotel on the phone, neither was hotels.com. It was agreed upon by two agents I would receive a credit towards another hotel which I never received after THREE HOURS on the side of the road and after telling them I was fleeing a domestic violence situation and was STRANDED. I never found the hotel and they are refusing to refund my money. DO NOT BOOK HERE

Worst motel I ever stayed in. Extremely dirty!! Dominos pizza would not even deliver to it stating its not very safe!. Floors very nasty, sheets look like someone set on them without wiping their butt. Fire Marshal should shut this motel down due to hair dryer plug cut and missing a prong on the plug in. The name is not the OYO, its the phenix inn. Pics on site are falsely advertised. DO NOT STAY HERE UNLESS YOUR A CRACKHEAD!

Miserable. Absolutely miserable. The bar that is on the property boasts its music as loud as it wants all night and according to the people in the lobby there is nothing you can do about it because there is no noise ordnance. If you want a place to stay for an hour or two for a hot shower rent a room, although you have to put down a $100 deposit that will take 24-48 hours to get back. Not worth it. Spend the extra money and get a room in a reputable hotel. FYI- had to give the place at least one star, wouldnt give it that.

Swimming pool had no water in it. Lamps had no light bulbs. When we asked for some he said the maintenance guys had the key to the maintenance room and they were gone, therefore we had to go buy bulbs in order to see. Only one employee and he’s hardly ever in the office. We saw the owner/employee walks by empty rooms and looks in windows to check that they’ve been cleaned instead of walking in. That’s probably why my room was so dirty. No tv remote. And the entire customer support is a joke. Owner kept telling me he couldn’t help me & customer support kept telling me he couldn’t either. I could not wait until my stay here was over.

If I could give a review of less than one I would. Sheet and pillows were stained and gross. Half the lights did not work. Sinks did not drain. Heat did not work. Electrical wires were hanging out of the walls. No smoke detectors. Staff was not helpful and barely spoke English. It was overall horrible and nasty.

Please don’t stay here it is no place safe! I asked to cancel my reservation they had already charged my card and was very rude! I had to call the police to come and was told I’d have to do a civil suit, never got a refund and everyone I tried talking to at customer service was also rude and refused to refund my money and continuously hung up in my face! So I will be filing and going to court. The room was filthy, the building was old and rundown and a lot of drug activity there. Do not stay there don’t even consider it!

Hotel room was not properly cleaned or sanitized. Sheets and pillows were stained & had dirt on them. Tub had a dirt ring around it. Front desk staff was very unprofessional & lacked customer service skills. Overall a horrible choice!!

Room was dirty, including small chards of glass on the floor. The bathroom vent had a towel jammed in it, with bugs on it. The tv remote only had one battery so it didnt work. No trash can in the room, or ashtray (it was a smoking room). I understand they are te-modeling. They should demolish.

This hotel is HAS THE WORST customer service . they are rude and NASTY too rude the hotelLooks like it’s rat infested anyways! Horrible service, Looks like a Roach Motel. The front desk guy Mr. Patel was extremely rude and Unprofessional. Said he had no rooms available when I reserved a room. Then continued to be rude saying he doesnt care that I reserved a room. Not his problem.i even got a booking.com rep on the phone and he was rude to him too. Finally the next day they charged my card like as if I stayed there as if I stayed there. Do not ever stay at this olace.

The address is incorrect. Leads you to some warehouse. Had to put an address of a bar next to the hotel in order to get to the correct destination. Staff gave me a hard time with processing the security deposit, and after 1 hour of back and forth I was finally able to get checked-in. Afterwards, the rooms weren’t even ready yet! Rooms weren’t fully ready until 4am and I got to the hotel at around 1:30am or 2:00am. This place is really bad. Please save yourself the headache and do not book a room here.

This hotel was the worst experience Ive ever had. Hands down. Im not very hard to please and very understanding. However there were no towels, toilet paper, only two small couch pillows. Only a sheet layed over the mattress. The faucet leaked all night. The floors were dirty from recent maintaince (dry wall, paint, chemicals). Through all of this the only thing I needed for myself and child. Was HOT WATER when I called the front desk. He simple said there isnt any right now and just went silent for 30 seconds. This was purely a shack. Then the heat went out.

VERY POOR!!!! The room was highly unsafe. With extension outlets everywhere, no towels, shower was gross and dirty, not enough keys per guest nor was the room clean and the fridge gross. They only took cash and the whole placed smelled of weed and cigarettes. Our room smelled horrible the whole time. NOT USE THIS PLACE!!

DO NOT book this for family stay. Holes in walls, dirty floors, lamps all unplugged with few working outlets, curtains attached with paper clips, at least 15 different hairs in bathroom and tub, no trash cans in room, people living out of rooms with all possessions, bar creates loud/aggressive environment outside rooms with drunks yelling and carrying on. Gross gross gross!!

Unfortunately although a reservation was made, the address on Google is incorrect, reaching someone at the front desk is impossible and the outside of the place is inherently filthy. Doors wide open in some rooms showing the deterioration, mold everywhere and mattresses pressed to ALOT of the room windows. We couldnt even find the front desk. Spent an hour trying to find this place

The ac didnt work properly so the room remained hot. Housekeeping came by at 9am on check out day and woke us up to see if we were checking out. I confirmed. She then came back knocking 2 additional times prior to the 11am check out time and was rude. I dont recommend staying here.

Horrible rooms, run down, no trashcan inside room, bugs, mold in shower, sheets were stained. Rubber strip coming off the bottom of the wall, found trash and old food under bathroom sink. Will not be staying there ever again they need to condemn the building

From the start I knew that things would be bad after I had been double charged. When I got there, I was asked to deposit another $60 because the online prices werent right. Considering I paid $264 for 1 night I would hope that the toilet wouldnt wobble, there wouldnt be stains everywhere, and I the drawers would close. Never going back. DO NOT GO HERE

If I could give 0 stars I would. My son made a reservation online. When he got there the guy told him there were no rooms available. My son showed them the reservation and the guy told him that he did not care that there were no rooms and to go somewhere else. So disrespectful. Never again. Please do yourself a favor and go get something better.

I didnt even get to check in. I booked online and when I arrived the desk clerk told me that the manager would not let me check in at the online rate. And didnt want to refund my money. This place is also known as the Phenix Inn. They have an ad for both Oyo and Phenix Inn. I would highly recommend not staying here. Desk clerk was very rude

If you are already in a room that youve paid for and want extend your stay via website the owner wants you to check out and come back at 3pm or pay 20$ early check in fee to stay in the room. This is the dumbest money grubbing practice ever.

Was AWFUL , first, i booked over the phone. The price i was given was 30 different than the price I got when arriving. The worker. Didnt know how to do anything..give out keys, check reservations . was on the phone entire time asking questions.. Was the worst experience ever. After driving 5 hours my family just wanted to rest. We waited around for 45 mins after I took my money back & left. Neverrrr everrrrr had that type of experience. Domt even waste your time.

The toilet would not flush and they provided us with a plunger because of said issue. The rooms were clean but smelt musty spend money wisely and stay at HDInn express next door

This property does not honor online reservations. Also even if you exte d your stay & pay the nightly rate, you have to check out at 11am and come back at 3pm unless you want to pay $20 extra dollars to be allowed to stay.

They robbed me of my deposit and my drivers license. Terrible customer service. Very disrespectful. If they dont want to handle your situation properly they will call the police on you just to get rid of you. I was respectful to staff and simply asked in a calm manner about getting my id and deposit and they banned me for that and called the police. Very bad business

I stayed at this location several nights because the price was fair. I made reservations through booking.com and paid cash at time of check in. The OYO PHENIX CITY..canceled my reservation through booking.com. which caused them to charge my card for NO SHOW which is same amount of cash I paid for the stay.. I have talked to everybody involved we are all waiting on OYO..I wish OYO.. Phenix City would give me my money back.

This hotel is now called Oyo. To get here, Google map ajs bar and grill and itll bring you to the property. You get what you pay for. Cheap rooms, they do need some serious fixing up... they have a fridge and microwave in the room... on the weekends, it will be a little loud outside due to AJs Bar...

Havent even checked in yet and the address on here is WRONG! Called the front desk and the staff was very RUDE. Told us we had to figure it out ourselves. PUT THE RIGHT ADDRESS AND USE CORRECT NAME FOR THE BUILDING. Looked through the comments on the feed back in order to find that darn place. Absolutely ridiculous!

They make you check out at 3pm then recheck back in. Even if staying in the hotel already, or pay $20-30 fee for stay over fee. Thats ridiculous, so they still get the regular price of $80 if you walk in

I never found the hotel after I paid for the room, called several times and noone could tell me how to get there. Never found it, called several times to talk to manager got the run around, planning to report to the BBB

Our stay here was scheduled for two nights it was crazy there people knocking on the door yelling at 2in the morning we only stayed one reported dirty pillows to rude loud lady at front desk (slim African American lady)we never seen a housekeeper a maintenance guy came with linen to do bed he was nice about it but this was totally unprofessional not to mention someone dog barked all night

It was filthy and the staff is virtually useless. Some of the rooms dont have TVs. A lot of shady characters hang around there too. So if you choose to go there, keep your head on a swivel. Stay alert, stay alive.

We went out there for a pool party they tell me thats fine if I rent two rooms we will have full access to the pool then at check inn they tell me oh by the way its 5 dollars a person for 3 hours to get in the pool then one of our rooms air went out they switched it with another broke ac now trying to say its to many people in room when they knew how many people there was before we even rented the room

DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE !!!!! They let music play loud all night and refuse to do anything about it . You cant sleep or rest . Then they refuse to move tou to another room . They also refuse to call the police for disturbing the peace . It is awful

Very poor: hotel is dirty and not appropriate at all to stay in. Management was rude and nasty! Complained about the false advertisement! Refused to refund my money! No ice machine, no refrigerator nothing that was advertised!!

The manager or owner is very rude watches peoples rooms and cars and trys to charge extra money if somebody that the person is rented the hotel extra money if they come after a certain time

They over book. I spent 200 dollars on a room that I RESERVED A WEEK IN ADVANCE and they over booked the hotel and are now refusing to give me a refund

Rooms and property are very dirty no smoke alarm in the bedroom they have been removed holes in the wall electric cables in the bathroom hanging from ceiling over all do not stay there very dangerous area

The address is not correct. If you put in the address for AJs Bar and Grill it will take you right to the hotel. The hotel in directly behind the bar. I would not recommend staying here if you can help it.
