Massage Envy

Took a half day off from work, got to my appointment 15 min early as asked to do the paperwork. Front desk team were very nice, taken back to the waiting room. Watched as others were taken back. After waiting for 15 minutes I’m told the therapist was not coming in and had an emergency. I get things happen. But what I am not okay with is nothing was said before when I arrived. I drove 30 minutes to get to this location and again I took a half day off of work for a much needed self care day. They asked if I wanted the manager to call me. Yes. I do. It’s been over 24 hours and no call has been made. Nothing at all offered for the inconvenience of now an hour drive and a wasted half day. If I’m a no show you charge me. If your therapist is a no show you should compensate me. Was very interested in a membership, not even a chance now.

I had scheduled a hot stone massage and facial at the pleasant hills location. I booked these appointments a month in advance and had taken the day off work. I got the confirmation text the day before my appointments and confirmed yes to both services. I show up 20 minutes before my appointment as requested to fill out paperwork only to be told that they didn’t turn on the hot stones and they could not do my hot stone massage. They said we can just go ahead and give a regular massage. I stated I only like hot stone and that is why I booked a hot stone. After being let down, I was then told I could wait around for my facial. I was not about to wait an hour and a half to be let down again. They tried to get me to reschedule but I stated I will go to another location. They did nothing to rectify the situation. I was on the verge of tears as I had taken the day off work, confirmed my appointments as I was suppose to yet they dropped the ball and I could not get the hot stone massage I requested a month in advance. The icing on the cake was that it was for my birthday. Thank you Massage Envy Pleasant Hills for ruining my birthday.

I went here for the first time yesterday and loved it. I have been in horrible pain for the past few weeks and Macy relieved so much of that in one session. I didn’t plan on signing up for a package, but had such a great experience that I knew I had to. Macy was the best and made me feel so comfortable. AJ at the front desk was also so sweet and very helpful answering all my questions.

Weak over priced Tipped 15% and left. I usually tip 35% if good. Got a free Attitude and a weak massage.ill stick to the Chinese version of deep tissue massage for a better job and for a more reasonable price.

I always thought this place with a monthly fee was ridiculous. That’s until i had the best message ever here (gift). I joined and its been almost a year. I’ve gotten facials and even tried the stretching. As a member you get lots of free perks. However, I declared this year I’m working on me. So, as long as you use the services each month, you save much more $$ than a non member. Best thing I’ve ever bought myself. I’m hooked! Recommend if you make the time for yourself!!!!

I feel fantastic! Macy did amazing work! I forgot all about my drive on 51 to get there 🤣 (IYKYK). I will be definitely be back 😍.

I made an appointment on Friday and when I got there today for my appointment at 2 oclock they didnt have me scheduled so after much to do I went home and came back at 4:30 and had a massage from another person not the 1st one and they gave me $15 off a lotion The staff was not very nice 😒

Nicole has healing hands and great bedside manners. She helped me out drastically and I couldnt be more grateful. Ive tried chiropractor visit after visit and they couldnt figure out how to help. When Im in PA again, Ill definitely be back.The only gripe I really had with my visit is that the document you fill out as a first time patient doesnt seem to matter because youre asked personal questions over the counter anyway.

I really hate to leave a review like this but Ive had enough at this point. Me and my wife have had a membership with massage envy for almost a year now and I cant wait till it expires. The first 4 or 5 months of the membership were great and I really enjoyed having it. The last couple of months have been a nightmare. Its almost impossible to get an appointment and when you do its like a month out. The last two appointments my wife has made has been canceled then she basically has to wait another month almost. Today I made an appointment at 930 am with a therapist that had openings at 10 and 1130, I made an appointment for 1130. I showed up for my session at ten after 11 this morning to be told that I was called because my session had to be canceled do to illness which is nobodies fault however I was told I was called and my inbox was full so a message couldnt be left....my inbox is empty and my phone shows no missed called, also I made the appointment at 930.....so you mean to tell me that you guys didnt no the therapist wasnt coming in at that point for a 10 oclock opening that was listed. I understand call offs are not the business fault but I feel like I pay 65 a month for a service that I cant use and if I want out of the contract it will cost me almost 200...Im very dissatisfied

I have never had any problems with the massages, but i recently cancelled my membership due to medical reasons, I asked if I could get my money back for 1 unused massage and they threw a fit and refused. ... now I know why places like this make so much money... beware there are many loopholes in the membership!

Be Leary of the contract. Lots of loopholes in favor of M. E. and nothing to benefit the client. Never used my membership but contract only gives you 2 ways out. Also the contract is offered right after initial massage when your mind is in a relaxed state. Be careful.

Wasn’t that good. I should’ve went with my Instinct and went to the South Park location. Doesn’t even feel like I had a massage and the iPad said I only had 45 mins when Diane left the room for me to change. And 40 mins when she came back in. And then ended my massage at 3:26pm. Definitely not the 60 minute massage I was supposed to get besides the 10 mins of getting undressed and dressed again. Wasn’t as deep as I wanted either. I won’t go back to this location.

Total scam, you are promised flexible usage and a ton of options. Once you sign up your locked into a contract with more excuses loopholes and BS then the current impeachment proceedings. The will NEVER accommodate a walk in. I have over 8 unused messages and in order to freeze my acct so I dont continue to accrue more I have to pay additional fees.... so because they wont take you if you walk in you still have to pay you can never redeem and in order to not loose almost 1000 dollars in sessions you have to pay them more money this scheme is worse then C.L.Blood and his scam to sell people oxygenized air!!!. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME ENERGY OR MONEY ON Amway version) of A SPA! You will be locked in and held hostage! You cant even turn your used messages into gift cards .... this currently might as well be a handful of Bolivar... completely worthless!!

I had such wonderful service as soon as I walked in the door. It was such a relaxing atmosphere. My therapist, Kathleen gave me a very relaxing prenatal massage. I WILL go back!

Replied to survey sent and stated I was disappointed in service this time. I got an email from manager asking best time to call me. Never heard from her.

What’s not to love about feeling good? Massage Envy is the place to go to feel wonderful, relaxed, relieved, and rejuvenated.
