Meridian Ave Massage and Spa

As a young adult stroke survivor, I struggle with chronic pain, spasticity, gait issues and more. Seeking to find relief from chronic pain, I’m open to trying different therapeutics such as acupuncture, chiropractic, and various massage techniques such as deep tissue, relaxation, and even cupping. During my first massage with Carrie, we discussed my journey to find relief. She did a little research and suggested we try Guasha tools. So our second massage together, she used Guasha tools. If you’re not familiar, I encourage you to Google it. Let me tell you as a stroke survivor, that was the most relaxing massage I’ve ever had! It helped to break up the crunchiness in my neck and even release the tension in my left arm. As a result, the spasticity in my left hand is so much more relaxed. If you’re a stroke survivor too, or know anyone with chronic nerve pain, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND doing this kind of massage technique. I had a chiropractor appointment this morning and even she noticed how much my body responded in a positive way to the Guasha massage. Next we’ll try red light therapy (Google it). My sleep was so deep last night and I’m very relaxed today. Thank you Carrie!!Ps, I’ve also had massages with Adriana (cupping technique) and Adam. They are both wonderful too! This is by far the best experience Ive ever had. Emma was very attentive. Very professional and kind. The facial and massage is top of the line. You can see the results right away. Everything is sparkly clean and organized. You feel relaxed from the moment you walk in 🥰

I got to work with Courtney and Carrie so far and both of them are amazing! Been having back pain for awhile but after coming here I have full range of motion now. Nice atmosphere too.

I had an appointment scheduled with Carrie but needed to reschedule due to illness. The team was so understanding and responded to my request within a reasonable time via text. Carrie was booked but I was offered another therapist by the name of Adam. I was very skeptical at first because I had not seen his name mentioned in any reviews. I was in desperate need of a massage so I decided to give him a try and I’m so happy I did! Adam started out asking me what my problem areas were and I told him not knowing what to expect. Surprise surprise! He had my shoulders back aligned and my body felt amazing after he was done. This was one of the best massages I’ve had in such a long time. He knows different techniques to relieve deep rooted muscle pain while making sure you’re comfortable and relaxed. He was also so very respectful throughout my massage. Thank you Adam…I cannot wait to come back!

Wonderful experience with a deep tissue massage. Very comfortable setting and the therapists really know what they are doing. Feeling phenomenal the day after.

Adamm has been great. I was able to get a same day appointment when I needed it and now I am hooked he has been able to help me with shooting pains in my legs and with my neck and shoulder pain.

I have been going here for years. Sometimes you get in a rhythm and see the same incredible people that you always have. Carrie and Adrianna are my go to therapists because they are AMAZING! I happened to get on Summers schedule and I am beyond thankful. She is kind, caring, open to feedback and pays attention to what you like. I highly recommend seeing her.

Meridian Ave massage is the absolute worst. They overcharge and don’t know what they are doing. They lost track of my State Farm checks and have been spamming me endlessly requesting I make payments when it’s State Farm’s responsibility. Keep in mind these people are far from nice too. They have been absolute PESTS about getting their money. They have harassed me and been extremely rude and aggressive (especially Renee) who does not know how to be professional. Go somewhere else! Save yourself a headache. Their massages are less than mediocre anyways! Not worth it

This place was amazing. My sister was sweet and gifted me a deep tissue massage and it was the best thing ever. Adriana was awesome! She knows what to do and focuses on areas that would help me day to day since I work from home. I was so relaxed and calm after it. I took such a long nap after and woke up so refreshed! Definitely recommend!

Its kinda tucked away and I was a bit wary when I had to text to be let in, but I had a wonderful experience. Intraoral massage from Carrie was great and effective for my jaw pain, and she did some clavicle stretching that was just insane (in a good way). She was very nice and patient whenever I had gag reflex issues, and Ill be going back to have her work on it further!

Beautiful Spa Atmosphere!! Great Staff. Because of being in a collision they have helped me so much. I have had tried 4 different massage therapists and all of them have such a gift for what they do. Infra Red light therapy was so helpful also. They even do Facials and waxing.

First time ever getting a massage and this place did not dissapoint. The staff was friendly and welcoming and the place was decorated like a cozy home. The air was clean and the sounds ape they had was great! I have lung sensitivities and they were very great at accommodating that. The massage was wonderful and she listened well to any changes in pressure I needed. The only issue I had was with getting a bunch of oil in my hair but just say something to them and they will be happy to avoid that for you. Will go again 10/10!!

Ive had back pain for about 45 years in my lower back. After one craniosacral appt with Chery, my lower back pain is gone. I havent been free of this pain ever, so Im very excited. Its been about six weeks since our appointment. I have another one in a couple weeks. If you have back pain thats soft tissue based, I highly recommend this service.

I was lead here by one of the massage therapists who treated me at her previous place of employment and now works here. Unfortunately, she was booked today, but after telling her the recent medical issues Ive endured, she recommended one of the therapists who luckily had an opening. I walked in with gratitude (for scheduling same day) and desperation. The massage therapist listened to all my concerns and took time to provide feedback. She seemed invested in caring for me and treating me the best way she could. Overall, it was delightful. There were some areas too tender for deep tissue, and I was impressed she had the perfect amount of pressure throughout the entire massage without me having to tell her to go harder or go softer (that sounds bad, but you know what I mean 😉).After the massage, I was greeted by my massage therapist, another kind woman, and the therapist I used to see. We went into more discussion about my health condition, they all chimed in to give their feedback, some shared their personal experience...While I was already running late to another appt, I didnt want to rush the conversation because it was very light-hearted.I wish they accepted health insurance 😩, but any opportunity I have to spend a few extra bucks and treat myself, Ill be back. I loved the ability to schedule an appt on their website, and checking in was a breeze. Its a small business tucked away in between several other businesses, so not easy to identify if youre driving by, but thats what online reviews are for, right? Please go here. This place is worth every penny of your money.Thank you for giving me some relief during one of the hardest and scariest weeks Ive been encountered with.

Perfect spa day for my Mom and I! Both of our massages and facials were amazing! We both left feeling so relaxed and refreshed. The ambiance inside was beautiful. Theyve really put alot of thought into making it a relaxing experience. Ive also had a chemical peel here and I plan to get another one!

Ive seen Emma twice now and have already scheduled a third appt. I always leave there feeling so relaxed and my skin looks so much better! I highly recommend her!

My absolutely favorite place for a massage! Candace does an amazing job! She listens to you and then I feel like her fingers listen to the knots in my neck, shoulders and back. It’s so relaxing. I find myself snoring during a deep tissue massage or cupping massage. That doesn’t mean she’s not massage correctly. That mean she’s gotten the knots to relax The room is so relaxing as well. The owner is great as well. Sorry, can’t remember her name at the moment. I highly recommend this place.

The staff all have great customer service and I definitely enjoy my results of my facial results that Emma has helped with my acne tremendously for the last 6 months! I definitely recommend you to check out the salon.

My massage with Cindy was very enjoyable. It was semi painful in the beginning because I had so many knots in my shoulders. But it was worth it to release the tension. Once she worked the knots out of my shoulders the massage felt so wonderful and relaxing. I almost fell asleep at the end. Cindy was kind and made me feel comfortable. It was a great experience .

Made an appt because I am in severe pain. It was confirmed but when I got there there was no one there. I called and texted multiple times with no response. Finally left almost 30 mins after my scheduled appt. What a waste of time and money since I had to leave work early to make it to the appt.Update: changed from 1 star to 4.Owners gave my wife a free 2 hour massage to make up for the above incident. Wife loved the massage and felt great after. Still a little upset about everything but atleast they have tried to make up for it.

I started going here to get my back waxed and ended up doing multiple different things to help my back acne on the recommendation of Emma who always goes above and beyond when when she does any work, I ended up seeing my back clear up and learned how to prevent acne from even forming thanks to Emma teaching what caused my back to break out/ how to fix that issue.Highly Recommend seeing Emma if you’re looking to clear up acne or just want smoother better looking skin

Booked with Candice , she is very good easy to get an appointment with. I recommend her to my family in friends. Her pressure is great and she always knows where my knots are in my back. Can’t wait to see her again.

Great people. Super friendly, very attentive and flexible. They listen to feedback on what helps and works, and adapt their technique to provide best results. Im seeing them for pain management due to injuries and very pleased with the experience and results.

UPDATE- Issue has been resolved and new appointment made. Very happy with how things are working out so far.Scheduled an appointment for 2:30 today and 30 mins before the appointment it was cancelled. Only a txt was received and no attempt to reschedule was made by the staff. Really unprofessional and won’t be using this place in the future.

Great experience, friendly staff, and massages feel great! Staff is attentive and willing to focus on areas that need more attention.

I asked for a deep tissue massage and what I got wasnt anything close to that. I kept on having to ask for more pressure until I finally just gave up. The pressure wasnt what it should have been for a normal massage let alone deep tissue.
