Absolutely incredible! I have tried a lot of different massage therapists! Jill was possibly the best I’ve ever had. I’m in the early stages of my pregnancy and have been sick and having back and hip pain for 2 months. This was the first relief I’ve felt, I feel like I’m floating. One of the best massages Ive ever had! Kimberly was the sweetest as we were planning a birthday massage morning for our mom! Our group of 4 received robes and slippers upon arrival. We were quite comfortable in the reception area as Kimberly made sure we had space to bring in and set up our bubbly and nibbles. Thoroughly enjoyed the massage and time there. Would recommend!

Very cute studio offering waxing and massage services. I went in for a wax and Mrs. Shannon was great. My favorite part was this studio uses a sugar scrub as opposed to hard wax. It didnt hurt nearly as bad as I wouldve thought. As a client, I felt my waxing services were about satisfaction and not the get in get out method as some places use. She took the time to go over any areas that were not perfect and made the effort for me to feel right at home.Being from out of town, the studio was a bit hard to find especially if youre not paying attention to every building. I passed right by it. 😆 It is on the 2nd floor and you access by using the stairwell around the side.

Absolutely love my time at The Massage Nook!! When I know when I a traveling to Rapid City, I get in for a massage or facial. This time, it was a facial by Kimberly!! I have been going to The Nook for a couple years now. Shannah is absolutely AMAZING!! She has been doing my Brazilian waxes and at my most recent appointment, she waxed my eyebrows. She is incredibly sweet, really cares about whats going on in my life, and is also very professional. Shes great at what she does. Quick, thorough, and a perfect wax every time! HIGHLY recommend!!❤️

I have used The Nook for my message needs since 2019. I do not go often, but every time I go it is amazing! I have had a few different massage therapists, but my preferred now is Liberty. She does an amazing job of the Head to Heart massage and I plan to continue going to her for this massage. I highly recommend The Nook.

I would highly highly recommend The Nook. I had the signature facial with Kimberly and it was, by far, the best facial I’ve ever received. The service also included some massage which was such a perfect enhancement to the facial. Kimberly walked me through what to expect and took such care with my skin. I left feeling so unbelievably relaxed and with new knowledge about how to best care for my skin. I really wish I lived closer because I would absolutely be a regular.

This is my second experience getting a massage at The Nook with Veronica. It was the perfect medium to hard pressure for deep tissue. She focused on troubled issues and listened and executed my needs phenomenally. I have tried countless places in the rapid city area and this place is my go to for waxing, facials and massages. Georgia up stairs is my go to for a comfortable Brazilian experience. Shannon has done fabulous facials organic facials and speedy and comfortable waxings too! Call the nook! It was my first facial in over a decade. The atmosphere was calming and peaceful. My skin still felt soft hours later. An added bonus was they don’t use products with additives or heavy gaudy perfume smells. Kelsey did a wonderful job, easily answering any questions I had.

I got the Head to Heart massage, it was incredible. The massage is from your chest to your head. It is amazingly perfect for anyone who carries tension in their shoulders and neck. Shannah listens to your needs and applies the right amount of pressure. She also works your mid back to loosen the muscles there also. I made an appointment for a full body massage in a few weeks and another Head to Heart massage to help alleviate the tension in my shoulder and neck muscles on a regular basis. If you suffer from migraines, this is the perfect massage for you.

My skin rerefreshed and I felt very well taken care of! The massage were definitely my favorite part.

I went here in November and had a bad experience, however they reached out to make the situation right. I was informed the employee who did my wax is no longer with them, and they offered a free follow-up. In spite of my bad experience, I wanted to change my review, as they made the effort to correct it.

Veronica was the absolute sweetest person to talk with! It was my first time getting a massage and she answered any questions I had and made sure I left feeling good! There are options of pressure and what kind of massage you might need or are looking for!

In addition to her keen eye for brow design, shes professional and warm. What an epiphany! I have traveled extensively throughout the US and globally and enjoy getting facials. I have had the gamut of experiences between excellence (Including a spa at Ashford Castle in Ireland) and sheer disappointment (we’ve all been there!). I will enthusiastically share that Kimberly gave me the most outstanding, professional, and glowing facial experience I’ve ever had. Starting with her positive happy energy and foot bath while she made a personalized plan for my needs. The table was so comfortable I almost fell asleep. The ambiance was soothing and she went about her business like a ninja - skillfully and quietly. The facial was two hours and Kimberly would not accept a well deserved tip. Ive been getting waxed for a year now and I love coming here. Kimberly is always so friendly and such a great person to work and chat with. Shes very professional and passionate about her work and excels at making you comfortable even if youre getting a Brazilian wax. Kimberly is always seeking out ways to improve and grow her knowledge, techniques, and methods. She is always so bubbly and happy that I always leave smiling and it makes my day so much better.Even though my hair naturally hair grows in uneven and indifferent directions Kimberley works with my body to achieve the best results and actively is working with me to find better methods that work with me such as trying to match the growth cycle and giving tips on how to prepare to get the most out of each session.

If I could give Kimberly six stars, I would. Not only did I feel immediately comfortable with her, but the service and experience was fantastic. This was my first visit to her, but it will definitely not be my last. Kimberlys infectious personality, professionalism, and overall quality of service have me the best impression. After my first appointment I had the desire to tip her because it exceeded every expectation I had ,but she doesn’t take tips she really prides herself on offering a great experience so you’ll come back for more, and needless to say it works!! Shannah made me feel very comfortable. She took her time and made to check how I was doing. She made me feel like my input was valuable.Im glad I gave them a second chance, and can understand why this place has so many positive reviews. My legs feel a lot better, and my experience was very much improved, compared to the first one.- - -Horrible experience. I just came back from a half leg waxing job, and it was the worst waxing job I’ve ever had in all my years. Not only was it painful, but my legs are completely butchered. So many hairs were missed, but most of them are only partially torn off, meaning that it’ll just grow the next day. It defeats the purpose of waxing them! I get my hairs are on the thicker side, but I never had an issue like this up till now. I feel miserable and disappointed. I didn’t realize how bad it was until I got home. I’ve had to spend time plucking and shaving my leg and feeling extremely overcharged for a job half done. I could have done better with a kit at home. Georgia was nice, but really didn’t take time to make sure she did a good job. She also was coughing quite a bit throughout the session and mentioned she was recovering from COVID, which isn’t a great first impression. As soon as she finished, I wanted to leave immediately. I wish I could get my money back. Maybe the other providers are better, but wouldn’t recommend this place for a leg wax. I’m shocked because this place has so many great reviews, I guess I got unlucky.

This week I started sauna sessions and already loving it! Indigo light relieves my back pain and a cold towel after feels soooo good! I’m combining it with massage with Cassi. I have gone here a few times now for a Brazilian and I love it. The ladies are very professional and thorough. I also appreciate that they use sugaring and not wax, because it causes less damage to my skin. In the future I would love to get another service done (facial, massage, etc..)

Teresa is extremely professional, kind and has excellent communication. I run 5 days a week and lift heavy weights. I always schedule an hour for a full body massage, when I leave I feel like a million bucks! She truly listens to my needs and pays close attention to my body aches!

I had previously given the Nook a 5 star review, but I felt it appropriate to change that after a recent experience.To start, I normally see Liberty, who I still highly recommend. When I first visited her, one of the things she told me was to not worry about a tip, since she felt it was more or less worked into the cost of the massage. Fast forward a year, and due to our schedules being different, Ive booked with Tristen. The massage went well, but afterwards she recommended that I book for the 75 minute appointment rather than the 60 minute so she has more time to work with. I am a student at one of the local colleges, so this pushes my budget a bit, but as she is the professional I oblige.After my second appointment today, I was confronted by Tristen about not leaving a tip. Because I booked for the 75 minute appointment, it was out of my price range for that visit. When I told her this, I was told in no uncertain terms that I shouldnt book with her again.Had I been made aware of this expectation in my first appointment, I would have stayed with the 60 minute appointment and used the difference to tip, but given what I had been told before I though it would be okay. Its fully within her right as a professional to make requests like this, but due to the way it was handled this ending turned an otherwise good massage into an unpleasant experience.

Kim is amazing, she is warm and very welcoming as you walk into her thoughtfully designed large studio. She is very professional and sincerely gives helpful feedback in regard to skin type and issues. Plus she under promises and over delivers in regard to her services, meaning your in for a real treat! I won’t ruin the experience for you by telling you up front. Book an appointment quickly (she books up fast) and you totally will not regret the money spent or how amazing your skin looks.She also sales an organic skin care line that I have been using for awhile now, it has truly helped heal my skin.

It was a therapeutic massage for 1 1/2 hours after our trip from the east. It was ideal for a back that has been in the car for 6 days. Be aware of the time changes because neither of us took that into account. While waiting, I did the laundry.

I’ve gone to multiple masseuses here and have never had a bad experience. I typically only come in for pain relief, with that said I’ve had very good experiences where they take the time to talk to me about any issues I’m experiencing and go through things I can do after the massage help stretch the muscles and alleviate pain, it’s very insightful.

I dont know why it took me this long to get in to The Nook! Cassi was fantastic and very very professional, knowledgeable about why my aching body areas hurt. Best therapist around. Not only experienced a great massage, but is helping me along by keeping my feet, back and neck, in shape and in line. Thank you !!

Teresa exceeded my expectations from the very first massage she gave me! I’ve had 4 now and will continue one each month from now on.She started with a hand hammered round coper tub for a quick foot soak and rub.Then, the massage actually started! She had hot rocks for my lower back, a heated lavender rice pack for my upper back, and ended with a wonderful warm towel underneath my neck for a nice little stretch! I had a massage with Maritza and it was amazing! My goal was relaxation and to work out some tension in my neck/shoulders. She totally personalized my whole body massage and it was perfect.

The massage it was so relaxing, were kind a late a few minutes to arrive for our schedule time for few minutes and aswering some question and filling up the papers doesnt realized that for my 45 minutes for massage I ended up 30 minutes for it because the filling up papers and some question is part of 45 min. of my time. But still I had a good time still recomemded to other people.

Liberty was fantastic! I could barely move my neck but she was so gentle and yet very specific in her treatment work. You can tell that she truly cares about your pain. My neck is so much better!!!
