Thank you Jenny for a perfect massage. After driving 3,000 miles my whole body was in bad shape. Im so glad I found this place. I enjoyed the hour massage and head spa. It was a very interesting concept. I left relaxed, rested, and rejuvenated. (Buddy) Hope to see you soon.

I’ve been here twice and the massage the first time from Jenny was good, there was just some confusion on their package online and the pricing so I would make sure you know what service you’re getting and how long it is when you get there in person. Today was my second time and I tried the head spa and I’m unfortunately pretty disappointed with it. I’m not sure if the person I had was new but the experience was not very relaxing and it felt like she was just doing the same rubbing motion most of the time, it felt more like an extended hair wash with some added minutes of body massaging in between hair soaking time. They also seemed unprepared and it was a little disorganized. They were fumbling with the tub and walking in and out a few times while I was already laying there with an eye mask on so I wasn’t sure what was going on. For $100 I definitely would have preferred to just pay for a massage and a hair wash/blowout for probably the same price combined. I also left with my hair still damp and knots and tangles in it. They’re nice people but I just thought I would write this for the next person who wants to come try it out. The massage was worth it, the head spa was not.

Today, I went for my 4th massage in 4 moths hoping for my usual 1-hour, back walking massage for $70. Upon filling in the pre treatment form, I was told that the back walking was only available with the deep tissue massage which was $10 extra. I questioned this, based on my 3 previous experiences, and was told that prices had been in creased last year, which was not true. After a call to the owner they agreed the usual rate but then asked for payment up front, which I declined in order to be able to add my usual gratuity... post service. The staff then declined to provide service which means they have lost a regular and loyal client!

First of all, I want to make it clear that this review is based off the whole experience, not just the services I received (which were great).I booked a full body massage and a head spa over a month in advance for my birthday. When I arrived at around 10:45 (my appointment was scheduled for 11am), they told me they were too busy and asked if I can return at 12. This was odd to me because I had booked so well in advance. It also bummed me out since I was trying to have a nice relaxing day for my birthday.About 3 minutes until 11, they called me saying the lady in the front messed up and that I can come back for my service. Luckily I was still parked out front so I went back in.They made me pay for the services before hand, which is fine but I would’ve liked to pay afterwards. Then, the lady went to get a set of keys and escorted me outside. I was very confused and didn’t understand where we were going (all those bad thoughts went through my mind). We walked about a block and a half away to a random town home which is where I received my full body massage. Very weird experience. And throughout my massage, the masseuse’s phone kept going off (and she continued to answer it). I’m guessing she’s answering calls from the spa to schedule other people but I wanted a more relaxing experience without being jolted awake by a very loud phone ring.Once my massage was over, she escorted me back to the spa. Again, super weird that I had to go from one location to the other.The head spa was great and my hair/scalp feels amazing. The massage was great too (other than the phone calls). They obviously know how to do their job very well, but the experience was definitely not ideal. Especially since I booked well in advance and this happened on my birthday.

High key this place was ghetto lol .. I was seen fast so that was great but the services provided were just ok . Some of the techniques used were questionable like the “standing on the back then jumping “ someone could seriously get paralyzed. I had better massage in the past . The Sauna was a jump scare DO NOT DO THE SAUNA BATH. I would not go back here the rooms smelt funny, everything looked clean but felt dirty and I left here with a cold.

Ill start off by saying, I am very picky. Ive had many great massages and way more not so great lolNancy is amazing! She touched on every problem area and listened to me during the massage when her pressure was a bit too hard. I will be going back here and requesting her in the future. The only thing I would have changed is for her to concentrate on my neck muscles instead of doing full body. Also worth mentioning, this may not be the place for you if you want to completely relax, you can hear other patrons easily when they enter and talk to their masseuse. However, if youre like me and just want your muscles to not be so tense, this is your place! All in all Im very happy. Its cheaper than other locations including tip! Cant beat it yall!

This is my go-to spot for an Asian style massage. Ive tried Swedish style massage, neuromuscular massage, and Asian deep tissue is my favorite style - they walk on your back, the pressure is hard, they stretch you, its unpretentious, its unassuming, all beef no filler. They start with a warm up over a towel, starting with the big muscle groups, then oil up and get in there with their thumbs, wringing you out like theyre trying to get the last drop of toothpaste out and youre the tube. There are a few places in the city that practice this style, but this is my favorite in the city.

Beware: one of the ladies steals money!!I’ve come here many times before and the massages are always great. Unfortunately, someone new massaged me. She offered more time at the end. 20min for $20. I accepted. I went to pay the additional $20 and she said I still owed her $10 for the time. I pointed to the $20 while I was taking out more money for her actual tip. She said the $20 was her tip and I owed her $10 additional $ for the extra time. She’s ruining it for the other wonderful ladies there. Be careful. She would’ve gotten a huge tip anyway, instead she stole my money and ruined the whole experience.

Make sure they understand your English before you call. I drove a hour because they said open until 9:30. Hours on door say 10:00 pm? Not coming back.

I have been getting massages for well over 30 years of my life. I have been in construction all of these years and my body always hurts because I work hard to accomplish every goal. Massage has been a part of my body maintenance program. In all these years, I have never had a better massage therapist. The Thai body massage is incredible and authentic, and deep tissue hits the difficult muscle layer problems well below the surface.I have been going to Blue Asian massage now at least once a month for most of the last year. This necessary for a healthy body and mind for me. The less pain the more I can enjoy and accomplish what I want to. Jenny is the absolute best and most professional therapist I have ever been to. Accurate, attentive to the difficult areas, and with many techniques to work out the problems.My health is totally grateful for her expertise 🙏🏻

Full body massage for an hour was amazing. Pressure was great, very relaxing and enjoyable.

Clean and professional. Jenny is the best.The other masseuses are also excellent 👏I have been coming to Blue Asian for eight years now. As I get older, the only relief I have from back spasms and sciatica is the tender attention from the staff.

The massage itself wasn’t awful but I had the most unprofessional experience ever. I asked for a half hour deep tissue massage. they proceeded to harass me about upgrading to an hour. Even when I was midway undressing they walked in to ask me about it. I kept saying no. My lady kept giving me unasked for free stuff. She said “the OIL (just oil you guys) is an extra 10. It’s free for you.” Same with the hot stones which by the way on their poster it literally says it’s free. And then in the middle of my massage she asked me if I would tip her 20 dollars. I didn’t answer so she kept asking. Then she asked if I was “high pay.” Then concluded with “please don’t complain.” Talked the entire time. I will never ever come back. Now I know why they are asking for 5 star reviews in exchange for 5 dollars off next time.

I really wanted to love this place but the entire process just felt rushed. I didn’t get the relaxation of a typical massage. And my masseuse walked in before i was finished undressing. I probably wont return but its suitable if youre looking for a cheaper massage with wide range of availability

I scheduled my husband’s appointment so easily through their online booking. There is so much availability and he said that it was worth every dollar. He works in production and is constantly on his feet day in and day out. There were so many specific areas he wanted to focus on and he said, “do not let Linda fool you. She knows what she’s doing.” He definitely wants to make this a consistent part of his routine. I plan to also book an appointment for myself and my family and will refer my friends! Thank you for your talented hands and helping my husband with his pain throughout his shoulders and calves.

Great massage place. Very clean rooms, kind masseuses, and a good massage. They are attentive to the form you fill out about the services you request (it takes 2 minutes). Lastly, dont be fooled by the older masseuse. They have enough strength to do deep tissue if requested.

This is my favorite place for a massage in RVA. They work hard, and their Thai or Deep Tissues really work out the kinks if youre dealing with injuries or sore muscles. Truly, 10/10 every time.

I was recommended by a friend and had a 90min deep tissue massage today. she did a great job! She’s good with all those pressure points to help release my pain and tightness. Will definitely come back!
