Massage Envy

I recently visited and found the staff to be very friendly and knowledgeable. However, my 30-minute massage only lasted about 25 minutes. Also, almost the entire time, they kept trying to sell me packages and subscriptions. While the staff is great, the experience would be better if they focused more on the service and less on the sales

Ive never had a bad facial. All slightly different as they do facials according to their schooling. Ive never walked away from any of the appointments dissatisfied. I do believe at this point, everyone has given me a facial.Management is also on point and involved.

I went in and explained I wanted a leg and foot massage with some attention to my lower back and neck. He then proceeded to massage my shoulders for 40 minutes, with the rest being single passes over one side of my neck, one spot in my lower back, and *then* my legs and feet. Receptionist also seemed to have a cold but was not wearing one of the masks provided.

Same day cancellation notice for something I waited months for. This was not due to illness but rather the victor location closing permanently a week prior.

I have been a member since October of 2022 and have consistently seen Shari for facials since the beginning. She is fantastic and always provides the services with great care and kindness. She’s made me feel so welcome at Massage Envy !

I’m pregnant and fell the morning of my facial appointment. Called doctor and they told me to rest at home take Tylenol since I had pain and had a headache from fall impact. Called massage envy to explain and they took a massage from me since it was same day cancellation. No one asked -are you ok? No oh my gosh, I’m sorry to hear that! Just cold and rude. Would they rather I come in and have something happen to me and my baby? Asked for manager to call and no one called. I have been a member for years and years and pay for my mom as well but I will be cancelling my account. Their loss!

Been going to Massage Envy Pittsford for a couple of months. Got a gift card. I have Jeremy as my Massage Therapist. Fantastic . The service and atmosphere is excellent. Wonderful staff the Manager Heather is so nice and her staff also. Thankyou for a wonderful experience monthly Massage Envy and Staff.

Kadi did my 90 minute facial and it was absolutely amazing! Best facial Ive had in forever! She is one of a kind and just an amazing personality and so skilled when it comes to skin and facials! Will be returning and recommending to friends and family!!!! Thank you again!!!!

As other reviews have stated, many times an appointment is only available >1 month out.And it can be difficult to cancel the membership(Acceptable reasons for cancellation are: (a) you provide written proof (eg executed mortgage or rental agreement, utility bill, car insurance) that your residence as permanently relocated more than 25 miles away from any Massage Envy Franchise location, (b) you provide a written statement from your medical provider certifying that you are unable to receive massages, (c) other extenuating circumstances exist that we decide in our sole discretion permit you to cancel)

Rachel is a complete professional and the consummate package when it comes to estheticians.Although I have only had a handful of experiences, I am thoroughly satisfied with the care she has provided to me.She provides a relaxing experience and her friendly demeanor completes the package.I look forward to many more visits to ME with Rachel providing my care.Thank you Rachel!

I had Robert as a masseuse & he was wonderful. He explained the techniques he was using & provided tips on stretching/exercises to keep my back loose. I walked away feeling like a new person- highly recommend!

Shawn was my therapist, he was excellent! Staff are all friendly and helpful. Though the one who assisted me was a little to pushy for asking if I needed to leave Shawn a gratuity after my massage I thought. And I already did I told the young lady. A little too pushy on joining their membership too, as I said I already read it all on the website before I went. Also I think they are not well staffed, as I have another appointment late July as Shawn is highly requested, but also they are booked way too far out to return anytime soon. I Doubt Ill go back. Shawn was amazing though. Also I think its way over priced. All just my opion.

Laura is my favorite massage therapist so far. She is very good at her job and always makes sure I feel comfortable. I have been seeing her monthly for the past few months and I have noticed a huge improvement in my neck pain. I would 10/10 recommend her!

They called less than 24 hours ahead of time to cancel both my and my friends appointment that we had booked months in advance. They said that they don’t have 2 massage therapists on at the same time so I don’t understand why they would bother scheduling the appointment in the first place. I see that this has happened to multiple people so don’t bother even trying to book an appointment unless you want to wait months for no reason only to have them cancel the day before and offer facials instead. Also, they wouldn’t refund my friends gift card even though they were the ones to cancel on us and the only reason we made the appointment in the first place was because she had a gift card.I went here one time before and the whole time I was there, they kept trying to upsell products to me. Even during the massage, the masseuse was trying to sell me products. It was the worst massage experience ever and not relaxing at all.

For years I’ve worked with therapist Amy K.She is technically superior and able to assess what will best address the aches & pains alignment issues. She is professional, has great technics and a kind spirit in whom I place my trust.ME is very fortunate to have her on your team. Its always a great experience from the time I enter the salon until I depart. You’ve got a great staff.

I have a monthly subscription for massages. Firstly, my massage therapist is amazing and the only reason Id give 2 stars to this company. My issue is with the front desk staff and the subscription contracts. In November 2021, I was offered an appointment for a massage at 1pm on December 31st, showed up, they were not open.Then, after my birthday massage on January 31st, I was told my LMT was booked until April 1st. I was disappointed as hes never been that booked before, but I took the appointment. I showed up yesterday and I was told the appointment was never made. Nothing was offered in exchange for the inconvenience, she didnt even bother telling me what the next available massage date was. Im a single mother so taking the time to get a massage isnt easy for me, but its often the highlight of my month. Securing childcare costs money that I cant get back once I leave my kids there. So Ive been paying 60 bucks a month (or 120 bucks a massage for tip + childcare) for almost a year and not getting anything close to what Im paying for. The whole situation literally brings me to tears. I feel owed a refund or at least an opportunity to get out of this contract with them. Id understand if they had to cancel with me because of overbooking or a change in the LMTs availability, but this is gross incompetence.

Will be there in the morning for a massage & manipulated stretch.I always feel like a new woman when I leave out of there.. Highly recommend

Ive been going to massage envy for a couple years now. I have had a great experience at this location especially with Laura. She has provided me with incredible massages multiple times. Shes been a key component to my healing after injuries. Great location, friendly staff, clean facilities and excellent massage therapists!

Amy has been my massage therapist for many years. She is skilled, caring, professional, and takes the time to understand my individual needs. I always know that my muscles will be super relaxed and my whole body will feel great after a session with Amy. She’s the best!

Emma makes me feel comfortable every appointment. She makes sure Im good and always asks if I have any questions. If I do have questions or concerns she addresses them. Her hands are magic! My skin feels amazing every time.

Robert was phenomenal! He took the time to ask me questions before, during and after, making sure my experience was the best it possibly could be! I highly recommend him!

Shawn Lawton at the Pittsford Massage Envy has been the best LMT I had in my entire life (and I have been getting massages for over 30 years!).I started with him around 7 years ago and he is the best!!! I hate saying it on social media though as it then gets tougher and tougher for me to get appointments scheduled with him 😒....but Im sure they will squeeze me in 😊.Adam

Always an excellent experience. The front desk staff is very friendly. Shawn L is a phenomenal therapist, in fact I have had consistently great massages from all the therapists I have dealt with. All will ask about and address areas of concern.

Not really sure what people are complaining about. This place had great customer service and they never gave me a hard time when I had to cancel my membership. Is it a little pricey? Sure. Is it worth it? Most of the time! I try very hard not to fall asleep during a massage because I want to enjoy what Im paying for. But, the last time I was there this woman was doing such a great job I accidentally fell asleep on her.

I love Rachel B., she has always been a sweetheart and always takes great care of me. My skin is amazing now and I barely wear makeup anymore. It’s so smooth and clear! Thank you lady, you’re the best!

It seems understaffed for the check in. There were people waiting, including me, and no one was at the front desk for several minutes. I didnt book my next appointment right then and there so I called as soon as I got home. I was put on hold and no one came back to my call. When I called a few minutes later, the recording told me to leave a message which I did. My call was not returned. I little frustrating for my first time. My massage with Domenic was wonderful although it was not a full hour. Should this be expected? I certainly plan to return but hope things will go a bit smoother next time.

Shawn was professional and very nice. I was very relaxed and he gave me a perfect massage! I will request him the next time.

Amy provided an amazing experience. Her massage was a healing balm for a weary body. Her hands are anointed for this work. It was a true gift and I would highly recommend her.

I have never had a facial ever and received one from Rachel last night. It was ahhhhh … mazing! After working almost 70 hours this week, this was the perfect way to wind down and de-stress. Thanks for making my evening perfect Rachel! I’m definitely coming back:)

Nicole was great. She made me feel very comfortable. It was my first time so she took the time to explained the process and made me feel very comfortable and relaxed during the whole process. Shes wonderful

I had a 90 min massage with Jessie- she communicated wonderfully and did exactly the spots I needed her to work on. The only disappointment was I was brought in 10min after my apt time and we ended 5 min early so it was more of a 75min massage than 90min. They also informed me without the introductory price a 90min massage would have been $165 which seems very steep compared to other places Ive gotten massages at in the past. They also asked me about the tip more than once which was a little pushy, but it was an overall good experience with kind people

If I could rate below one star, I would. I scheduled appointments for a group of people/members weeks ago and then received a cancellation notice for one of the slots. Massage envy was unwilling to find a replacement therapist for the session. I told them I would look into alternatives and might call to cancel the remaining appointments. I then decided against that and called just to reconfirm that at least the remaining appointments were still on.Massage envy then told me they canceled all appointments because I supposedly asked them to. This is not true and absolutely outrageous. The majority of us are massage envy members and I am certainly not going back. What I will do, however, is to look into canceling my membership prematurely and inform corporate and take this one level up.

Amy took time to consider a recent medical change in order to adapt the treatment for this visit. She delivered the safe, relaxing, and therapeutic experience that I have come to enjoy and expect. Her caring, and knowledge of her craft are always on full display.

Got a facial here today and let me just say I was absolutely impressed. Unfortunately, I cannot remember the name of my esthetician but she was wonderful. Her energy was so welcoming and comforting. She was awesome and explained things every step of the way. If I lived closer I would be here once a week!

I had a 90 minute massage with Adrienne today, and not a single moment was wasted. It was very therapeutic and I can feel that my body will be doing some major healing after this! Definitely recommend seeing her!

First time was great but the second time was average and the customer service was poor and pressured us to get a membership and sounded offended when we respectfully declined and kept questioning us asking why not and what’s the issue ? That was super unprofessional and made me and my fiancé really uncomfortable. Never went back again after that experience. In Victor by east view mall

Had a great chemical peal with Hollie today. She was awesome and explained things every step of the way. The staff was also friendly and helpful. I was so impressed I signed up for a membership. I can’t wait to try the other services.

Never buy a gift certificate they are not refundable. Wait 6 months only to have appointment canceled by massage envy the night before and the earliest opening is the end of September. Never again would I use them.

The massages r good.. the girls r great.... But massage envy needs to get their scheduling together. 90% of my massages have been rescheduled or cancelled. This is getting ridiculous. Im just wanting this membership to be over already

I purchased the one year membership and then gave birth. I informed the person on the phone that I couldnt come in because I just given birth. She didnt give me any options to put a hold on my account. When I went to close my account thats when I was given the option to put a hold on my account but It would extend my subscription. I still had 6 massages in my account that were going to expire. That were not willing to work with me or give me an extra 30 days to use my massages. I lost almost $400.Do not purchase a subscription from them!THEY ALSO GIVE 50 MINUTE MASSAGES! They count getting undressed in the hour. Terrible!

Amy is always wonderful and professional. She suggested a side massage as I have back issues and Im glad she did. I appreciate her help and the staff is always nice.

Today was my first and last visit to Salon Envy in Pttsford. I have been to several massage therapists and Ive never had such a bad experience. I could have given myself a better massage. There waa absolutely no pressure applied from my massage. Ive also never left a massage session without some excellent aroma therapy oil having been applied. I never felt relaxed. Nor did I experience that relief feeling whatsoever. It was the worst money Ive ever spent on a massage. Huge waste of time and money! In fact, I left more stressed because I was aggravated at the waste of time and money and frustrated at the complete lack of relaxation and relief from both stress and pain. I thoroughly explained to the therapist where my pain was and what I hoped to achieve from the one hour session. I also told the manager my complaints upon leaving. I also stated that I would never return. This was my first and last visit. The managers only comments were, well she put her 2 weeks notice in because shes chosen a different direction and I gave you a discount from our normal charge of $90/hr to $50/hr. Im not sure where her quote of $90/hr came from because prior to scheduling my appointment I was quoted $50/hr and the website also quoted $50/hr. The only thing I was offered was the possibility of a better therapist next time and a possible discount of $10 next time. Well, there will be no, next time! I give massage envy a zero on a scale of 1-10. Please dont waste your time and money. Save yourself the added aggravation of the extreme poor service as well!

I deal with Pam at the front desk and Juantanee was my masseuse - both had lovely personalities and were very pleasant. Juantanee gave me one of the best massages Ive ever had. Pam did want me to sign up for a membership, and I never like that salesy-part, but I know its their job and she was very nice about everything. I will definitely be returning.

I get my facials done by Rachel she is very professional and is simply amazing. She makes me feel very comfortable through the whole process.

Ive been going to Massage Envy in Pittsford since they opened. Ive been a member the entire time. I have always had a great experience with the staff, owners and massage therapist. I would highly recommend Massage Envy. I have gone to the other locations in Rochester and out of state as well.

Shawn is the best in the business. Listens carefully and addresses all your concerns so he can deliver a fantastic massage. So friendly and makes you feel at ease right away.

Very well done. Didn’t last the full hour, though. More like 30 minutes. Emma answered my questions but could offer more unsolicited feedback. Could have done some more in that time like a hot towel and eye massage. Oh, I told Emma the Astro’s would win. Sorry for the Sox, guys. Better luck next year. (-:

Horrific establishment consistently signing up new memberships that they can not fulfill. They sign you into a contract they know they can not fulfill forcing you to schedule massage appointments months in advance to only cancel them the day prior to the appointment.Spoke to a employee we knew that worked there that said the establishment has high turn over due to only offering their therapists $15 per massage which results in not retaining employees. They call and just say therapist is no longer available days prior to the appointment.When trying to cancel the service they refuse. Stay far far away from this massage envy location. We are currently working to put a stop to this locations business practices. All massage envy pittsford clients that have experience the same issue please feel free to reach out for support getting your membership canceled.

Great estheticians but typical corporate philosophy. Make it easy to enroll, but a pain to cancel. When I wanted to cancel because of COVID-19 as they were not offering facial services, they said my membership fee was overdue. I couldn’t understand why they expect my fees if they aren’t fully open. They said I can put my membership fee for massage and if I didn’t pay I will lose all credit accrued. I don’t want a massage! It’s like a restaurant charging me for food I don’t want to eat because what they have isn’t available. The stars are for my fav esthetician who deserves 5 but alas is stuck with a terrible customer service company.

Rachel takes the time to analyze your skin and ask questions. She goes above and beyond to provide to make you feel comfortable and provide the best service.

Pittsford Location: Took over a year to get in to get a deep tissue massage and then they cancel on me the day of the massage. Instead of seeing if there is availability for another masseuse or another Massage Envy location...I get asked if I want a facial. REALLY. A facial is not a massage.

I tried really hard to like this place and they repeatedly provided bad service. The most recent example I can share - I went in for a massage I had scheduled a month in advance (since its so difficult to get the masseuse one wants), and was told on the spot that I had cancelled the massage the day before over the phone. Knowing for a fact I did not cancel the massage, its unclear to me how that massage was cancelled and/or how they verified who was calling to cancel the massage. I was offered no apology or something to make up for the mistake, until I insisted on talking to the manager. The manager did call me a few minutes after I had left, and offered to book a massage for me within the next two weeks and offer an enhancement of $10 to make up for it (after I heckled him). He said he would call me back to confirm said appointment. That was at the end of May ... it is now August and I still have not received any calls from them.They have certainly lost my business for the future, and I would not recommend them at all.

OMG so my work and life schedule just doesnt help me to get as many massages as I would like to have and also the fact appointments are hard to get since COVID-19 BUT to finally get in and then get an appointment with Robert da magnificent... it made me remember why I became a member. Come check them out and if you can schedule with Robert da magnificent you will see what I mean A+

Ive been to this Massage Envy several times and have to say that the staff is always very friendly and I highly recommend Charlie as a masseuse. I was a little nervous at first because hes very young, but he was really great at addressing my areas of concern.

I always have the most amazing facials with Rachel. She is and excellent esthetician. I dont go anywhere else! Shes the best.

Pittsford needs to screen the chains allowed in this usually reputable plaza. Mother of three visiting from Philly. Received a massage as a Christmas present and scheduled it while still in town visiting my family. Confirmed the appointment the previous day. Went in and was told they cancelled my appointment and every other location was booked until after my departure date. They did not try to accomodate, implied it was my fault, and would not attempt to make up for it. Also oddly patronizing. Mustve bumped an out-of-towner for a regular, though hard to believe there would be any. Very disappointing.

MT Amy is highly skilled and takes great care to address the needs of her clients. I would recommend her to anyone seeking professional and thorough massage therapy treatments.

After I cancelled my membership John and another employee (possibly managers) continued to charge my card for my ex husbands membership. When I explained we are divorced and that per our decree I was not responsible for this, they refused to credit my card and said my ex would have to give them a card in order to remove or stop billing mine. When my ex husband did not give a card they refused to let my card go and basically decided they can keep it to pay his debt. The young men were condescending and kept saying their hands were tied. When I asked for a general manager, I was never given anyone to speak too. Massage Envy will apparently do whatever it takes to not lose a membership (that is not even wanted) and will keep your information hostage to do so. Do yourself a favor and go anywhere else besides this awful place.

DONT SIGN UP FOR A YEAR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I originally went down because my back hurt, they convinced me to sign up for the monthly membership plan (thinking Ill give it a try). Well, a couple of months go by I havent been back because my new work schedule doesnt allow it. I called to cancel the account to save myself $60 a month but they REFUSE TO FREE ME OF THIS CONTRACT!!! I was forced to close the bank account. I havent paid them since August and they still refuse to compromise on a way to close this account.

Received a $50 gift card for Massage Envy for Christmas. Massage was relaxing. Would definitely recommend Massage Envy Pittsford for any one looking for a massage.

So sad that Massage Envy pays hard-working Licensed Massage Therapists 13.50 an hour. Burger King pays their counter clerks the same thing. The CEOs at Massage Envy must LOVE their income and bonuses even though they make their money literally on the backs of LMTs. Welcome to America. Low unemployment, poverty wages!

At one point She forgot that I have pain in one part of my body. I re-reminded her and she apologized, then changed the way she was massaging me in that area so it didnt hurt as much..

Great massages I just wish that we were given the full time we pay for; for example, one-hour session is only fifty minutes. I would love to get what I pay for.
