Tuners on Main Street

We stopped in for a quick drink. It felt like most dive bars during the day, a little dark and tired feeling but probably a blast on weekend nights. Very nice bartender.

Great little dive bar. They have what you need to have the fun you want. Service was great, its a bar. You may have to wait a minute to get a drink!

If you want a fun casual atmosphere this is your place. Drinks that wont break the bank, and great live music and karaoke. Dance if you want to or just go to drink with friends. Everyone is super friendly

Ive traveled a lot around a lot, been to a lot of bars & restaurants. However Ive encountered the rudest bartender at this place, I also dont understand why she was in a lingerie top?I also rarely write reviews, so for me to make sure this effort says a lot.

Bartender was excellent. I do not drink and she was more than happy to just serve me ice water.

I was on vacation from Pittsburgh and this was the first bar I went to on my first night. This place is definition of a midwest dive bar and I wouldnt want it any other way. Most dive bars are filled with regulars. So when I came in with a pirates hoodie I got some looks. But was treated great. The bartenders and customers are very nice people to talk to. The drinks were good and they have free popcorn. I cant wait to use my drink chip next time I go back

The people and staff are friendly and they gave us great direction to what you need to see downtown.

I had an incredibly disappointing experience at Tuners bar that I simply cannot overlook. When I visited the bar last night our visit turned sour due to the shockingly poor service we received.Upon arriving, we took a look at the menu and noticed a $4 pickle shot that caught our interest. We approached the bar and ordered the shot. To our surprise, the bartender not only refused to serve it to us but also did so in the most impolite and disrespectful manner possible.As we handed over the money, the bartender literally slammed it down on the counter away from where I was sitting and bluntly told us that we wouldnt be getting the shot. I thought it was a joke at first until he gave me the bill with only one drink. When asked for a reason, the response was nothing short of rude and uncalled for. There was no explanation provided, just a dismissive no I dont want to make it that left us taken aback and bewildered.Its one thing to have a policy or reason for not serving a particular drink, but the way this situation was handled was completely unprofessional. A simple explanation or an alternative suggestion would have sufficed, but the bartenders attitude made it abundantly clear that our presence was not valued or respected.Customer service is a fundamental aspect of any business, especially in the hospitality industry. Tuners bar not only failed to uphold even the most basic standards of courtesy and professionalism but also left us feeling unwelcome and disappointed. A simple shot might not seem like a big deal, but its the attitude and behavior of the staff that truly define an establishment.I cannot recommend Tuners bar based on this experience. Its disheartening to see such a lack of respect for customers, and I sincerely hope that the management takes note of these issues and takes steps to improve their service quality. Until then, Ill be sure to steer clear of this establishment and encourage others to do the same.There are plenty of better bars on MainStreet that you wont be treated so rude atThe bartender was an old man with a bandana and very poor attitude along with all the other staff.

I have always enjoyed going to Tuners, this place has always been fun and the staff has been great.

This is a great bar in downtown st charles, crowd was fun with the karaoke on Wednesday night. Fun and festive

Great local pub, really friendly people. Some very impressive Kareoke singers. Great atomsphere with lots of history. Made to feel very welcome!

This is a great neighborhood bar! Lots of regulars, everyone is friendly and the bartenders are fantastic! Jim always has great bands! You can find out who is playing when by calling or you can find out on Facebook for Tuners and Whats happening in St Charles or on Whats going on, on Main Street St. Charles. There is always a band on the weekend. This is not usually a college hangout but everyone is welcome! If Bob is they bartender, you will have a great time and get your drinks quickly.

Hole in the wall bar, which is something I typically enjoy. Appeared to be a lot of locals/regulars and we stopped because few places were opened on Main Street that day. Bartender was nice but not overly friendly and there was a loud drunk that was obviously irritating people, as the owner came out and told him to leave.

We went in and bought 3 beers. I went to the bathroom shortly after and after getting out of the bathroom the owner walked up to me. Told me that I need to leave because of occupancy issues. On top of it I was causing no trouble at all. She asked only me to leave. Out of 200+ people. I would suggest going to another bar because this one is definitely not one that knows how to run a business. Coming from a guy who owns 2 of his own.

My wife and I took 2 seats at the bar. Totally ignored by both bartenders. Had to ask to have a drink. Felt like we were not welcomed. Probably definitely a locals bar. But it was relaxing to us live music was good. Good drink prices and I left a tip

This place is trash. I walked in and got 3 beers and then proceeded to go to the restroom. I come out and out of like 200+ people they decided to make us leave due to occupancy limits. Very unusual as bars go. We did not say anything to anyone, we were only there for about 15 min. The owner is extremely disrespectful. Id highly suggest going to another bar.

Rockn the blues, had a great time with a bar full of good people and great music from (Cold Water Creek) blues band!! My ears are still ringing a bit!!!

Small seemingly local bar with bands on the weekends and 2 dartboard for steel tip darts. Service was excellent and many people seemed to know each other.

Staff is really cool but the atmosphere is awful and cramped. Still laughing that I can stand behind the band as they perform (no vip or anything, thats just the back door entrance)

This place is all about the atmosphere. Very laid back and casual. Probably caters to a little older crowd unlike other bars in the area. Good music for older stuff and blues. Good drink prices.

Out of every bar on Main Street this would be my last option. Not only is the atmosphere dull but the staff is also homophobic. I did not feel welcome or able to express myself. There are so many other options to go to at Main Street of St. Charles. I hope no one has to experience what I did when I went to this bar for the first time. I am glad I did not spend any money here because they don’t deserve it. Move into the 21st century or close, we should be done ignoring people who are different and start to accept them rather than choose hate because of a lack of understanding.

Had not seen longtime friend Russ Bono play in many years and he was in town performing here. The place was packed and a great time was had by all who attended! Great fun place!

Loved the band. Waitress great. Wine was good and reasonable! Just wish they would redo bathrooms!

Small bar that features local bands. Crowd ranges in ages from 21 and up. If you do not like cigarette smoke stay away from this bar but if you like lots of fun then this is the place to hang out at.

Stealing 60 dollars worth of keno. Thought found a honest place to play only to have bartender run 1 old ticket worth 60 and added it to what I played and now STEALING Money. Screw tuners. Trying to change rating to 0 stars but wont let me.

Its definitely a locals bar (kind of like our very own cheers where everyone knows your name) but dont let that stop you from dropping by, its always a fun time and everyone is friendly and welcoming to newcomers. I suggest going on a Tuesday night for karaoke!

Small and run down, ordered a Margarita on a Tuesday and it was supposed to be 20 something oz. And came in a pint glass full to the rim with ice. Other than the mis step the bartender was plesant

I went for a friends birthday and another friends gig. The place was packed and no one wearing masks (thats St. Charles for you). The service was surprisingly great considering how busy is was.

My friends and I had so much fun in this bar! It reminded us of our Hometown bar! Our bartender was awesome and remembered what we were drinking and the owner kept filling the jukebox!

Only bar we go to on main street. Best dive bar. Live music all the time with super strong cheap drinks. Staff is pleasant and you can bring in your own food.

This is a great little place for people to socialize and drink together. On Fridays, they have karaoke, which we also enjoy!
