Steven was the best masseuse I ever had! It was nearly a blend of chiropractic and massage in one! I was very impressed with him instructing me to move either my arm or leg in a specific position to massage out my muscles and knots. He also included breathing techniques as well. 10/10 recommend and will be returning!
I recently had a massage experience at Massage Xcape & Float, and unfortunately, it was quite disappointing. The experience fell short of my expectations, leaving me feeling unsatisfied and frustrated. The massage itself was where the experience truly went downhill. Despite requesting a deep tissue massage, the therapist’s technique was inconsistent and ineffective. She placed 7 hot wet towels on my back and left it there the whole entire time while she attempted to massage my legs. It felt as though she were simply going through motions, rather than providing a skilled and attentive massage. She literally rubbed my body for 1 hr and 10 minutes. My massage was supposed to be for 1 hr and 30 mins and I asked her to stop early.Furthermore, the therapist seemed disinterested and detached through out the session, failing to address my specific areas of concern or listen to my feedback. It was evident that they lacked the expertise and professionalism expected from a massage therapist.Overall my experience was far from satisfactory. I would not recommend this establishment to others seeking a quality massage.
Did my first couples massage here & it was good, did another deep tissue massage with float therapy. Steven’s skills are subpar! Highly recommended with Steven to release those knots in your body you didn’t even know existed
That was the weirdest massage i have ever had. It felt erratic and unplanned. I swear she spent more time rearranging the blankets then actually massaging me. Ive had a lot of massages in my life and this is by far the worst.I also did a float and was highly disappointed as well. The covers in the tub *on the right side right by the head* were cracked . I used the ear plugs but the music was still to loud and coming through. This was my first time trying a float pool and it made me not want to do one again.Oh and the fact that the person replying to my review would rather try to put me down then appoligise shows their character.
Edit: Apologies! I saw that I hadnt reviewed, but I was logged in to a separate account. The other review has been deleted. (I have in fact been to your business).Edit to the edit: I will say, being accused of not being a customer certainly makes it tough to reconsider my rating. The service received was a couples massage under my partners name. Perhaps that is why you arent seeing me in your records. Please consider that this may not be uncommon. My massage experience was perhaps somewhere near three stars, being of okay quality, but it did end a bit short of the promised time and was provided by a person of a different gender then discussed during the call. My experience with the front desk attendant was atrocious and is the primary reason for this review being so low. I was made to feel like my questions were bothering them. It really soured the end of the experience for me. Ill add as well that I had a need to contact the business at a later point. It took four calls during business hours to get in touch with anyone, and when I did I got the same person with the same demeanor.
Attentive to your requests and special attention to your problem areas. The therapist was thorough and the technique/pressure was spot on. The room was great; comfortable table (electric up/down adjustments) and not too strong scents to help you relax. If there were questions, they were whispered and close so as not to disturb the experience. No pressure from the front desk to join or sign up. Do yourself a favor and treat yourself here, youll love it.
The float was one of the best relaxing experiences Ive ever had. Floating on water with calming music playing definitely releases stress and relaxes the mind and body. The facility is nice, clean, and wonderful staff.
My husband and I went here for our first anniversary and had a couples massage with Amanda and Markeesha. This was our first professional massage experience and it was truly the best!! We were able to choose essential oils to our liking and the environment was very very relaxing! We both left feeling extremely relaxed and have plans to return as soon as we can (hopefully with our fave massage therapists)!
Was able to book online for a next day appointment and pay online prior to appointment. Started a couple minutes early. Front desk and therapist were both friendly and welcoming. Good massage.
This place is awesome!!! Very comfortable and peaceful, nice relaxing music playing.Stevens massage skills are out of this world!! It was so relaxing and I felt like I was having an out of body experience! Kristin, the admin assistant, is so friendly and helpful with any questions. The infared sauna is relaxing, havent done my float yet, I am coming back for that. If you need some pampering, highly recommend!! I feel recharged and ready to face the world. 💜💜💜I
Rose did an exceptional job at the massage I just received here. If you are looking for a quality massage therapist request Rose!
I booked this place for my wife and I for our anniversary and the experience was very underwhelming. It was our first time using this massage parlor and will also be our last. I booked two back to back 1 hour sessions. My wife went first and hers lasted 45 minutes at best. When I asked the receptionist why she told me she didn’t know and she would have to ask the therapist(which she never did). My wife let me know that is was the worst massage she’s ever gotten and was in more pain when she left than when she came in. Next up was me and my massage also did not last the full 60 minutes (it was about 45 minutes as well). She asked me where my trouble spots were and proceeded to massage everywhere but there. The therapist (Cynthia) did not seem very enthusiastic and was very rough. She cause more pain than relaxation. I also tipped her before receiving my service or hearing about my wife’s experience and I wish I didn’t as she did not earn any of it.Very poor and if I could rate this negative stars I would. I feel like they owe me money for the shortened sessions and the lack luster massage. I would not refer anyone here.
I had to miss my appointment because I had to have an emergency medical appointment on that day. I have a voicemail saying they would not charge me if I rescheduled but as soon as i tried to reschedule they tried to charge an additional 50 dollars. I understand that your time is not free but why would i be told that i am not charged over the phone? I can send you the voicemail recording if youd like
Do not book anything online with these people, they dont keep track of online bookings. According to the receptionist no one does. I showed up for a prenatal massage and was told that I was not on the schedule, even with a conformation email. When I told the receptionist my name, she asked are you sure youre not Karina? Like I wouldnt know my own name. Was told the manager would give me a call and he never did. So Unprofessional.
We booked this massage for our wedding anniversary. Appointment was at 4:30 but the massage therapist didnt come in until 4:47 and we didnt start the massage until almost 4:50. She did go about 6 minutes longer at the end but I feel like it was only because we brought it up to them. The massage was ok, but it was my fault for not requesting a deep tissue therapist. My wife experience, however, was much worse. After spending so much time asking what her areas of concerns were, went on to doing the opposite. She was specifically asked to not be massage at the lower half of her body yet she continued to go down there, three more times because it felt unbalanced to the massage therapist. Weve been here once before and it was one of the best massage we had. This time, its the opposite and will not be coming back.
I have mixed feelings about this place. The float wasn’t my or my boyfriends favorite experience, but we gave it a try. I was a little weirded out by the dark brown color the water was and the awful smell (but I guess that’s normal?)The place could definitely have some updated remodeling and cleaning done, for sure. Everything smelt old and musky from the minute you walked in. The sauna and the massage part of our appointment were absolutely phenomenal. Cynthia (our massage therapist) took her time and we both felt so relaxed and rejuvenated afterwards. I probably wouldn’t go back here for the epsom salt float experience, but everything else was very enjoyable. Staff were very attentive and friendly, hence the 3 stars.
The people there were very nice. Especially the receptionist. I felt their services were only average. Although I had asked for a deep tissue massage, it did not meet my expectations. I purchased a package that included an hour massage and 30 mins in their infrared sauna. Ultimately I had to ask for my sauna so it felt like I was being gypped. I was told that they were about to close and that Id have to reschedule. I probably wouldve liked to know there wasnt going enough time for the sauna and the massage. That would have made me schedule my appointment sooner. Patially my fault, I probably should have checked their hours too. Overall, I think there are other massage places Id like to try before coming back here. Thank you for being very nice to me.
My fiancée and I went here for a couples massage to celebrate our engagement, We arrived 25 minutes before our scheduled massage, it didn’t actually start until 5 minutes after it was supposed to, and ended ten minutes before it was supposed to, so we lost a quarter of the time we paid for. The massage therapist was to rough on my fiancée, and my massage therapist did not give me a full body massage as I had requested. I was really hoping that this place was going to become our go to spot as we have yet to find a place we’ve had a great experience at, needless to say we will not be returning. They also added extra fees at the end which I had specifically asked about upon making the reservation and was told there was none. If you want to get what you pay for, this is not the place to go!
I love this place. I tried the floatation tank for the first time. Amazing experience must try! Heather the manager is friendly and knowledgeable and made my experience even better. My Therapist was amazing as well got my tense shoulder and back feeling great.I have a membership here, the best deal in the twin cities! I can’t wait to come back.
Decided to give the float tank a try. My girlfriend and I used a Groupon, it was a good deal. Keep in mind there is only one tank so if multiple people go, someone will have to wait. It was nice in the room they had a nice shower, some calm music in the background, and lights which you can turn on and off from inside the float tank. It was fairly relaxing, I took a nap inside. Ive heard it takes some practice to get used to and I agree because I kept waking up and wanting to move. But overall fun new experience.
I had a very great first experience at Massage Xcape! I was greated and checked in very professionally by Heather who set up my float session. She was very informative on how the process would go and that my therapist Jen would come and get me.The float was a great experience followed by an absolutely incredible massage by Jen. She communicated with me at the beginning asking if I had an problem areas and worked nicely on those areas. The essential oil mixes were awesome. I felt 110% better after leaving that day and will definitely request Jen again. Thanks for the great experience!
We arrived 10 minutes early for our 6pm appointment. Didnt get into the room until 6:20, and massage didnt start until almost 6:30. We paid for a 60 minute massage, and only got 30 minutes. Also told We would be getting a salt float, but were scheduled for the sauna instead. Would have preferred the float. Dont feel like we got what we paid for
The massage for both my husband and I was fantastic!! Our massage therapists were really great!! There was a little delay as the people being massaged before us went over, so our massage did not start until 2:15 and it was a 90 minute couples massage and it ended at 3:30. I know theres signage that states 5-10 minutes would be taken from the time for dressing and consult but both combined was 5 minutes so we were bummed that we felt like it was cut short by 10 minutes. For $270 plus tip we should get the full time! Thats a lot of $.
There are some good massage therapists, but the administration of the company is terrible. Customer service is terrible. As a member, I was supposed to receive a free birthday massage. I came in 2 weeks after my birthday and was told that it was too late, even though the website nor contract never state a time frame. The woman at the front desk was very rude and dismissive. I tried contacting the company about it, but I never got a response. Additionally, as part of my membership, I am supposed to be able to use the sauna. I tried to use it before my massage appointment, but the doors to the Roseville location were locked. I guess the person who was supposed to be at the desk decided to go somewhere. I waited 15 minutes for someone to come let me in. There is no point in being a member if they do not want to honor the benefits that are supposed to come with it. I also know someone who used to be massage therapist for this company. He said that they get paid $18 an hour. Customers pay about $80 an hour, so I dont know where the other $62 are going. While the therapists are good, the company is terrible. It would be better to go somewhere else and I have cancelled my membership.
Do NOT recommend. We have been there multiple times. Unfortunately we wont be back, as the rude gentleman on the phone is just too burdened by having to book appointments. Plenty of other facilities in the area that will happily take your business. I recommend you try them out, first.
We bought the couples massage groupon online and the experience is definitely not worth it. We had to wait almost 20 minutes after our time for the massage to start. The added on fee is ridiculous when you are already paying a lot of money for it online. Also, to be honest my massage left me feeling like I didnt get what I asked for. I have always told people to go as hard as you can and this definitely didnt happen. I would highly recommend going elsewhere.
Pleasant experience, good massage, and as a first time client they listened to my needs. The space is comfortable and soothing, overall a very relaxing time. Ill be back for their membership to take advantage of their flotation tank and sauna experiences too.
Well there were a few things here... this tank totally defeated the purpose of sensory deprivation. The water was hot tub hot (definitely not body temp.) AND the air temperature was the same inside the room as it was in the rest of the building (again- definitely not body temp.) I attempted to relax but could not as I was overly hot on the parts of my body inside the water and was cold on the parts outside of the water. I could only stand it for about 20 minutes. Upon getting out- I pulled a long blonde hair from my body and almost threw up! The water clearly hadnt been changed out or even at the bare minimum-filtered between customers. When I got to the front desk- I explained my frustration and gave feedback (the girl was a sweetheart and she explained that she was new and was very apologetic for my bad experience and waived the $2 fee that I needed to pay which was great) however, I would have hoped that she would have offered a full refund due to the level of bad experience. Needless to say- I will definitely not be returning.
My wife gifted me with a Groupon for a 60 minute massage, 60 minute float, and 15 minute Sauna at Massage Xcape & Float. My therapist asked what type of massage I was looking for and suggested stress relief which I thought sounded great. That was exactly what was delivered. It was my first time floating, and that was another positive experience. The IR Sauna was a nice way to end the experience, and afterwards I joined the club for discounts on future services.Immediately recommended to some friends and family after leaving. Give it a shot if youre looking for professional, courteous service and a calm, relaxing environment to decompress.
We scheduled a couples massage. My husband had a good experience with Stephen. His bed and blanket were well heated and he was toasty the whole time. My massage bed and blanket were not warm enough for me. I was cold throughout my massage which made it less enjoyable for me. I asked my masseuse, Panou(?), if my blanket was heated and she simply said yes without checking or asking me if I wanted more warmth. Her hands were also cold at the beginning. Overall, we left loose and relaxed.
My husband and I did a couples massage session for our anniversary with a Groupon. The hour long massage only lasted 45 minutes, as many people have mentioned. The whole experience was a bit underwhelming- the Groupon had stated fireplace and a complimentary beverage… turned out to be a fake fireplace on the wall the size a computer monitor and a 1/2 size bottle of water… gave us a laugh. Literally not at all what we pictured. However, both massages were good and the staff was nice.
This was both my first Groupon and Float experience. I was able to get in quickly, I called and they returned my call pretty fast. It was relaxing the moment I walked in the door, The waiting area was clean and inviting. The Float room, was clean, had everything a person could need. I loved the float experience and will be back!!
My boyfriend was late I got a couples massage. He went to another room wasnt together . They changed my appointment to 12:15 to 1:15 . The girl who did my boyfriend only did till 1pm and he said it wasnt worth it. The girl who did me was great. The girl who did me said when he came they would open the door for a couples which never happened. I am upset with this but the receptionist and the girl who did me was great. The girl who did my boyfriend flirted and he felt uncomfortable and was to gard his back hurts today. Thank you to the person who did mine . My back feels great.
My wife and I booked a couples massage and detoxification session and it was hands down the best experience we ever had. The place was clean, the aura was relaxing and the staff was professional and courteous. I cant wait to go back. My only regret is that Im limited to only 5 stars. This place rocks, hands down the best in the Twin Cities.
They charge you before you get any services done, which is awful when your massage therapist cancels and then you never get the money refunded because no one feels like taking care of things. Then the owner never calls you back after leaving 2 voicemails and even speaking to two different receptionists and apparently thinks this is just something the customer has to worry about. That day the float was also unusually hot to the point where I couldnt stay in there, which apparently cant be remedied and then you still get charged for the full cost Because they need to sanitize it after someones in there . Im even a member and the very young and unprofessional receptionist decided to raise her voice and argue with me about why I have no reason to be upset about any of this. I finally talked to the owner and he told me his own life problems are more important and then gave me the silent treatment and canceled my membership without any conversation further. Like honestly, what kind of a business is this?!
Was my second time there and the second time something went wrong with the scheduling (although my husband was there twice to make sure it works out). That can happen and I would not have complained. But the tip of the iceberg was that we have been charged additional 20% for our services because the service was slightly different than the Day Offer we wanted to book. My husband asked about youtwice if the offer still would apply before we booked it! That does not seem right! The front desk lady tries but could be more friendly. The massage was great, though. Thanks to my therapist (which was wrongly informed about my condition..).That probably was the last time. Too bad for the therapists!
I have mixed feelings about my experience. I arrived early and was thankful that the float tank was ready as soon as I arrived. I couldn’t get over two things however. First, the float tank was dated as others have mentioned and just didn’t seem sanitary, may be the odd smell. Secondly, it was hard to “deprive” my senses when you could hear a low fan/engine the entire time and there was enough light in the room to create silhouettes.
I have posted this same review at Yelp. It is worth noting that after posting this review on Yelp, the owner looked me up in his records and contacted me, talked over me, cut me off while I was speaking, and excused his poor behavior good customer service because he was trying to offer a free massage. When I updated my yelp review to include these details, he threatened me with legal action. So, if you have a poor experience and post about it publicly, you also run the risk that the owner will harass you and threaten legal action. Here is my review of the services and facilities:Ive had 3-4 massages here. Each time the massage itself served the therapeutic purpose of helping relieve body aches and pains, but the overall experience leaves a lot to be desired. A few major points:1. Its difficult to schedule an appointment. The online system isnt reliable and Ive had it just flat our refuse to work on a couple occasions. Calling doesnt do any good because they arent good about answering the phone, and have a call back rate of around 50%. Ive been trying to schedule a massage this week and havent been able to. Im going to give up and go elsewhere.2. Ive also had the problem of buying a package that includes the sauna, and then being told that the sauna isnt on. The explanation given to me was that the person who scheduled the appointment didnt bother scheduling it, even though I told her I purchased the package and wanted to use it. I was offered a discount, but that isnt really an adequate remedy. What I really wanted was a relaxing spa treatment after an ugly week, and I didnt get it.3. The therapists are unprofessional. Ive had a couple questionable experiences, but on my last visit it went completely over the top. The therapist I saw spoke constantly, about inappropriate topics, and at one point said want to hear something really gross?, and proceeded to start telling the story even after I said no. I had to cut her off and tell her to stop telling it, and even then she badgered me about it. Its not that bad!. Really? Because you just told me it was super gross. I dont want to hear it. Im here to relax.4. They short you on time. Ive never had a massage there start on time, but they always end on time. If Im paying for 60 minutes, I should get 60 minutes.5. Last time I was there the bathroom was dirty. As in, someone had their period and dripped blood on the toilet and no one had cleaned it, even though it was obviously old and dried up. Not ok.Ive continued to go back because the location is convenient, but its just not worth the effort anymore.
Avery was amazing. The ambiance of the study was very relaxing. Overall I had a great experience as soon as I walked through the door!
HANDS DOWN BEST MASSAGE IVE EVER GOT!!! Great Massuses!!!!!!! Very professional and listen to what you want. My whole upper half was sooooo tight and Stephen did an excellent job getting all my knots out! The therapists all do an excellent job of recommending stretches/other little things to do to keep your body in the best shape. Their tips help so much. They have a great membership program too where you pay $25 a month to get very cheap prices on massages. With the membership my 60min massage was only $54!!!!!!!!! And unlimited free sauna, definitely recommend this place!
Room was freezing cold, table not warm, surprise fees were added in and therapist was horrible. If I could give it negative stars I would, as this experience was a huge waste of time and money. First time I have ever had a massage where I left feeling worse than when I came in. This therapist desperately needs to find a different career, and this location would do well to communicate with the client. Will be looking elsewhere for services in the future.
When my husband and I walked in we were ignored while the reception continued to talk to her co-workers. When she did acknowledge us, it was not a warm friendly greeting. The therapist that I had was good, however the massage table/bed was cold (typically they are warm), the massage started at 1:00 and was over by 1:40 (although we paid for a 60 minute massage). The last and final straw was the linen on the bed was dirty and had strands of hair on it. Yeah, I wont return to this establishment.
HORRIBLE!! Horrible customer service. My boyfriend and I had an appointment tomorrow for a couples massage. They called to confirm and I called them back to say we had to reschedule as both myself and my boyfriend have Covid. The woman proceeded to tell me that I will be charged $35 for rescheduling within 24 hours. I said we just found out this morning that we have Covid and she proceeded to tell me because they had to call me I would be charged the reschedule fee. I cannot believe the rigidity of this business. Covid is rampant right now and to think there is a business who is not willing to make adjustments despite the pandemic....HORRIBLE. Avoid at all costs and please give you business to another massage place!!!
I had a couple massage for V-day and we love love love the therapist! The customer service was awesome! Afterward we sat in a room to relax and they served us sparkling grape juice (that in going to buy very soon) and chocolate! I am definitely going back for another massage soon!
Great location for a float. Staff is friendly, and location is convenient.
My experience with Massage Xcape has been great! I try to stick with the same therapists (1 for relaxation and 1 for deep tissue) who are THE BEST EVER!!! Therapists always make sure before they begin what I want worked on. Sometimes humans make mistakes (GASP!), but, Ive found their customer service exceeds my expectations! The ONLY reason for knocking a star off is the building. The walls are thin, so when staff/clients are talking in the hallway or at the front desk, I can hear the conversation/laughter while Im trying to get my drool on! A whisper only policy is likely the only solution, however, improbable.I remain a loyal, and satisfied customer. Thank you!
Both myself and my fiance thoroughly enjoyed our couples fireside massage. The staff was informative, engaging, and really tailored things for our benefit. We look forward to returning regularly and can hardly wait for our next experience.
I really like this place. Right now I am seeing Darcy and Jason, who are both hard core healers. I like the deep, pain-relieving type of massage, which they both excel at. If that is not your style, I would suggest calling the front desk and asking for a recommendation. The front desk is super friendly and knowledgable and would be happy to give recommendations. I have seen other therapists there, and they all seem very professional and competent. I do, however, think it is extremely important to let them know exactly what you expect as far as pressure and relaxation. The place has always been clean, I have never been canceled on, and they always go the full time.
Loved it , I booked the float bath session with a massage .at first it was weird with a float bath but then you get adjusted. Keep in mind the salts they use are a bit funky but you will adjust to that to but it was a good experience to have or just try try if your curious.
This place does not even deserve one star. First off , I paid for a couples massages and also booked it 3 weeks ahead of time. The SAME DAY I was booked I called to confirm the appointment and the receptions advised that the previous lady that booked my appointment was new and she made a mistake therefore I wouldnt be able to receive a massage as a couple with my husband. I was a little upset but I understand we all make mistakes OKAY! But the receptionist was extremely rude and very unprofessional very Ridley said that she will give us 30 minutes for free and I accepted. When I arrived at the location the receptionist attended is very rudely. we went inside for our massages SEPRATELY just for an hour and it was bad. My husband and I were definitely upset. I was very generous and left a tip bc I felt my masseuse was a very sweet lady. Then before I left the receptionist advices that she will be giving me a call to schedule a follow up appointment again very rudly. Alms or 3 weeks later I still have yet to hear from them . I so do not recommend
Although The scenery and ambience was really nice. My massage was fairly mediocre; as far as my overall body being massaged, It was rushed and parts were missed. I’ve had plenty of professional massages in the past and this one could have been better.
Massage was not a full hour. We paid for the hour massage, checked in at 6:20 for a 6:30 start time. Waited in the lobby until 6:35, went into the room, massage started roughly 5 minutes later (6:40 ish), we were dressed and walking out the door at 7:15, paying for a full hour I would expect a full hour. Other than that it was a good experience.
I have been twice now to the Roseville location and love it. Both times I had Jenn S. and she does an excellent massage. Compared to other places I have been I find the price reasonable, the rooms comfy and the massage awesome. I would definitely recommend this place to my friend and family, and I have already scheduled appointment number three.
The massage was supposed to be for an hour. Was 25 minutes. Would have been 40 but it took the 70 plus year old massage therapist 4 minutes to put the face extension into the massage bed. The massage therapist while polite was too weak and offer a touch or hovering experience. By no way was this a massage. She also trembled as though she had the beginning of parkinsons. Felt bad for her but hell I paid a lot for this experience and it was a bust.
My wife and I are now members here. They have always treated us with respect and care. there are numerous therapist, and if you do not ask you will get a random person. And I have not had any issues with any of them. I recommend to make sure any deals are guaranteed to call and set your appointment. I do not mind the online system, I just felt that having a person to speak to and confirm the time and order helps a lot.
Look forward every time I have an appointment. The staff is amazing and my masseuse Jen is beyond fantastic. My wife and I have been going for years and in the last 6 months weve been going once a week for the most part. If I could give 6 stars I would.
I booked a massage that I was so excited about and felt much needed. When I got there the therapist never showed up nor had she communicated this to the receptionist who seemed just as surprised as I was that she wasn’t showing up. This lack of communication was so unprofessional and was a waste of my time. Needless to say I’m not coming back.
As a former Professional athlete of the Minnesota vikings Ive had about 1,000 massages in my career and massage escape ranks up there with the very best. Awesome therapist, great customer service and a clean serenity atmosphere. Whenever iam in town I always book a massage hear. I always leave satisfied and feeling great!!!
Tried a couples massage at massage xcape from a groupon amd was extremely disappointed. Therapist were late, poor pressure and no flow. When asked for a refund I was told that the experience was poor quality due to me being seasoned at receiving massages and that one of the therapists was brand-new. After 4 weeks of getting the run around I was told there would be no refund. Waste of time and money.
Couples massage (purchased via Groupon) was great! Conjoined room, relaxing atmosphere, wonderful masseuses! Left feeling sore after work on knots neither of us knew existed.
Booked an appointment a month ago for the one good thing at this place - a deep tissue massage with Shar. Last time was switched therapists but luckily ended up finding Shar by getting switched to her, had to wait 20 minutes beyond appt time to go back to room. Wasn’t notified of therapist switching . Today went for my appointment and was told it wasn’t with Shar, it had to be changed. No notification until arriving for appointment. Terrible communication, unfortunately won’t be coming back again.
Every massage I have had there has been great because I told them what I wanted. Ask for Stephanie, she is excellent! She is deep tissue so be prepared. If you are looking for softer, then you might want to research however, if you are an athlete, hard worker, extreme exerciser, then you need to go to STEPHANIE!
It was wonderful I love the float, and the massage was fabulous. Im just not a sauna fan and I was too warm by that point. Other than that I will do the float and massage for sure again.
The owners are weird and creepy…Edit: These people are so unprofessional, I’d stay faarrr from this place, this is how you talk to customers.. to people?
My massage therapist listened to what was hurting me/sore and did a great job making the massage tailored to me and what I was looking for. We did a couples massage (second time there) and will definitely keep going back.
I am a long time customer, having been with the organization since they opened. The company has had its ups and downs as all new organizations do, finding the right people for the right roles in the organization, learning new computer software, customer service, training therapists, etc... I find that the management team is strong, wanting not only to listen to their clients, but to provide the best service possible to all. Something I think many Minnesotans do not understand is that massage is an industry that goes largely unregulated in many parts of this state. In fact, massage has no formal practice expectation or guidelines, and it is up to each city council to decide what licensure/ training is needed for practice. I cannot speak to the laws in Roseville, but I can speak to the fact that Sam, Ann, and Jen all run a very tight ship that is professional and above board. They want the best therapists to work at their site, and education is a priority. I know this because I researched this facility before I chose to bring my business there. As a person with a disability, I cannot afford to be cavalier in my choices about who works on me. I thank the team there so much for all that they do, and I look forward to being a customer for many years to come.
Staff was amazing. Best place Ive been for a massage. Great atmosphere, very relaxing. Did infrared sauna for the first time...it was awesome.
My massage therapist remembered details about me and my preferences from a visit almost a year ago, was so friendly, and provided me with excellent care. Cant wait to come back!
I called before hand to schedule an appointment during normal operating hours. When I arrived the door was locked and no one was inside the waiting area. There were also other customers waiting outside. After multiple attempts to call and get someones attention they finally came and unlocked the door. The services were on par with what you would expect, not the best, not the worst.
I have had two fantastic massages from Virginia and Timothy. I have always been disappointed with poorly trained, insecure body work professionals, not here!. Virginia has a very calm, gentle and targeted style that highlights her knowledge, and experience in her ability to relax muscles. Timothy is a skilled deep tissue body work therapist. He uses a combination of styles. His knowledge of muscle function and his targeted hands make him an excellent choice for athletes and individuals with deep tissue muscle pain. I have the wellness packaged and look forward to my visit each month.
Went for their sensory deprivation chamber. 100% not what you want in a sensory deprivation chamber. They kept the water at body temperature, instead of at a comfortable temperature where youre body would expell heat at the same rate as in room temperature air. Instead you keep all that extra heat in you, and sweat INTO the water completely unable to meditate on your people soup.
Pretty good massage! Left feeling really relaxed
Screwed up my mates appointment by not informing where to turn off the music until she was already submerged. Receptionist then brushed the inside rug with a broom flipping dust into the tea that was just offered. Not worth it.
Relaxing atmosphere friendly staff reasonable pricing. We usually do the couples massage..1.5 hours. We have been happy with the therapists we have been assigned
Every masseuse I’ve had here has been wonderful. They are never running late and always make me feel safe and relaxed.
Enjoyed the couple’s massage. Our therapists were professional and listened to my needs. Felt very much relaxed and cared for. Ask for Josiah.
I had a persistent pain in my neck and sharp headache for two days; after just 10 minutes into the targeted massage, my headache was gone thanks to Stephen’s massage. So grateful!
I booked an appointment for my husbands birthday and the massage therapist disappeared right before his appointment and they didnt apologize or offer to compensate in any way. I will not be going back. Terrible experience, rude staff!!
Everything at Massage Xcape & float were way beyond what I expected. The decor is stunning. The services are outstanding and way better than my expectation. The folks operating the location were also super friendly, definitely recommend.
The receptionist was so unhelpful. I used a groupon coupon to book my appointment . It was not stated on their ad that tax wasnt included . I arrived 15 minutes early and ending having to wait additional 30 minutes after my appointment was suppose to have started . Very unprofessional . Better off going elsewhere .
My visit at Massage Xcape was awesome .....It was clean , professional and fast service. The staff was nice and had a great attitude, the atmosphere was quiet and very easy to relax .Their rates were reasonable and I recommend that u and your better half take a trip to one of their nearest locations . I CANT WAIT TO GO BACK TO MASSAGE XCAPE.
Most unprofessional experience I’ve ever had at a massage establishment or “spa.” I did not get one of the services I paid for because of the staff’s mistake. I will not be going back or recommending their services.
Took my wife to Massage Xcape for Valentines Day, and the service and staff where outstanding, they listen and give you exactly what you need and ask for, my wife left her massage feeling rejuvenated, refreshed and ready for what was next, Im looking forward to our next visit, I want to try that new Float Therapy they have.
Called to schedule a couples massage. They got us in that day! Sarah and Ann were great. Very professional. We will be going back
Stephen is the absolute best. He is great at communicating during the process and working out all of those knots. He always leaves me feeling great.
Relaxing environment professional massages will definately come back I will add aromatherapy and see about adding a singing bowl gong bath recording and Im sure it will be a ten Thanks for the excellent service💗💗💗
They love to double charge. Make sure to always check your bank statements, especially a month after you been there for extra withdraws for odd amounts.
I am a regular with Jen as is my wife, but I have used other therapists and have never had a bad experience. Great service for a very fair price.
Spa water was cold, smelled and was discolored. There was not enough salt in the water. Massage was not bad but it was not good either. I will not be going back.
Used a Groupon. Very good value. Float room seemed a little outdated. The mechanism for tipping your therapist is terrible.
Peaceful friendly excellent staff cant wait for next visit! A true Oasis in your grueling desert of life! 5 stars!
Horrible experience got a couples massage and me and my husband were almost in tears the entire time these ppl gave us a far from relaxing massage almost went to the er later that night feeling like we were hit by a truvk
The service was great for our couples massage session. I feel relaxed and ready to go our honeymoon in Hawaii. Thanks guys!
Friendly staff and a great massage. Only gave 4/5 stars because I had to wait even though I had an appointment.
Friendly staff and amazing massage. My partner in crime and I were jelly by the end. LGBT friendly (Im of the T variety)
Wonderful massage, clean building, soothing atmosphere. Tracey gave a great massage and addressed all my aches and concerns
Their online system isnt as convenient as youd like it to be. You have to start all over if u need to change 1 option, i.e. look for a new date, a different masseuse... Etc.
We had the best couples massage ever. Very nice clean place and very experienced massage therapist.
They did have the float capsule but it was a nice experience
I wad only there ti pick up a wish order but it wad real nice and nice people. I think Ill come back for a float session
I cant remember my massage therapists name but he went after my knots with such enthusiasm. He reduced them so much.
Massage Xcape was a great experience. Clean, relaxing and a great massage. Im glad i decided to try them.
Awesome Black Owned floating pool therapy spot with other massage services and wonderful customer service!
Massage was no more than rubbing lotion in, asked repeatedly for more pressure, slight modification for a couple minutes than back to light touch. Skip this place.
Nice small location, love the dry sauna- very relaxing. Great deep tissue massage from Jie.
Love this place! Panou and Rosa are both wonderful at what they do
Great place to start off a vacation. Did the couples massage and sauna and everything was perfect.
Both Andrea and Jie are awesome! Andrea helped me heal from a painful pinched nerve.
Worst Customer Service ever. These people are only there to eat your money, not provide service to you.I would not rate even 1 start, but google requires to have atleast 1 star to post reviews.
Not very friendly front desk.Decent massage.Beautiful room.
Cause it was one of the best experiences I had it was very great kinda unexplainable!!!
Very relaxing. Great atmosphere
Great masssages, great facility, great experience overall! Lots of new innovative equipment and technology and very knowledgeable staff
Tried out the float tank for the first time. It was very relaxing.
Josiah did a great job and I felt very relaxed when I left!
Float experience was interesting. Massage therapists are very inconsistent.
Friendly service; Floatation tank appeared to be clean. Id go back!
Good service, good staff, good member pricing. The owner is a pretty crabby guy, but rarely there.
Staff was friendly and the spa was clean and well organized.
Avery gave me the best massage i have EVER HAD
The floating theraphy was the best treatment ever outside of massage of course
Very professional, great atmosphere. Definitely will go back.
Not enough hand rails on access to float tank. VERY slippery
Great atmosphere, great staff, service was amazing. Would attend again
Poor customer service, unprofessional. Good massage therapists.
Great and friendly people got me in right away.
Good atmosphere, excellent massage!
Very reasonable pricing, friendly staff
