Arrived at 14:50 only to find a back in 30 minutes sign on the door. Uncertain of the duration they were absent. Finally returned at 15:20 and greeted us with immediate rudeness. Despite informing them of our reservation, we were met with dismissive claims of no reservations for the day. Left waiting outside in the heat for five minutes while they attended to other matters. Upon their return, our reservation was again disputed with rudeness, claiming it had been canceled. Following a conversation with customer service from whom we made the booking (who confirmed it wasnt canceled), we opted to seek accommodation elsewhere. If possible, I would rate this experience zero stars. Dreadful service, compounded by a discourteous demeanor.
Great location. Fairly central to everything. Also, not a hotel, but a motel. The room though... you really get what you pay for. Its cheap and it looks it. Badly done patches in the walls, the top drawer of the dresser had a broken handle, the sink is visibly etched and stained, and I had to fix the curtains (which were beginning to fall) when I first got here. It was an easy fix that took less than 5 minutes with no tools, so Idk how it wasnt fixed. Also, advertised as having Wi-Fi, but had no Wi-Fi. Or if there is Wi-Fi, I was never given the network name or passcode. Not a bad place to stay if youre pinching pennies while hunting monsters with your brother from an old school Impala stocked with stuff that doesnt use the Internet. But if youre looking for something comfortable, I recommend looking elsewhere. Everythings just a little bit busted here.
Horrible experience with this hotel. They booked me under a completely wrong reservation under a completely different name. They wouldn’t give me my reservation of 3 nights that were prepaid and kicked me out after the first night because of their mistake. I provided ID yet they still messed up the entire reservation. The front desk lady was VERY rude and was not helpful whatsoever, idk how that lady still has a job with the very ugly unprofessional attitude she has. I would highly recommend not staying here.
I currently have no place to stay so, I bounce from hotel to hotel. I stayed here and found a very low price online . Before the end of my stay the female owner told me I couldn’t book anymore. This was an unusual comment because I hadn’t did anything but go to work and come back and sleep. I asked the husband and was told that they charged 350 for a week and to return back at the end of my stay . The reason I was told I can’t book anymore is because I was booking online which made it cheaper and they wanted me to pay the full 350. I’ve really fallen on hard times and I only see a $380 check a week. I do not recommend this place to anyone. The husband is pretty cool but the wife seems upset all the time. I was also told that if I book online they can refuse my reservation. So I called a lawyer and I was told that there are several reason a hotel can refuse my stay and booking online isn’t a reason caused for refusing a reservation. This is sad!!
They will not let u stay here if you book third party they will cancel ur reservation and in order to get a refund or another hotel takes days even weeks to get. I work at a hotel but found this one at a cheaper price and never again will I book here! DONT BOOK HERE THIRD PARTY RESERVATION WILL BE TURNED AWAY!
Booked through priceline as and upgraded customer. I had a discounted price with children. Priceline policy for the hotel states that children stay for free. They wanted me to pay for the kids. They even told me to go through priceline to get a refund, but they refused to cancel my reservation. The management was truly rude.
DONT DO IT!!!! BED BUGS BED BUGS BED BUGS!!!! There were other peoples dirty clothes in the drawers chewed gum under the microwave and we had to clean some red stuff off the toilet. Thankfully we carry our own cleaning supplies when we stay in a hotel because this room DEFINITELY needed to be cleaned. The WiFi is awful. 5G only works if you get a room on the side where the owners reside. They let their dog poop on the property and leave it so when walking you must avoid stepping in it. The housekeeper was nice but the owners wife is very rude and has 0 customer service. Unfortunately we couldnt get a refund so we had to endure that for 2 weeks. My children are covered in bed bug bites and we had to treat everything before bringing it in our home. If you have options skip right over this place unless you like BED bugs roaches and living on top of other peoples filth. Oh and all the towels are stained and VERY NASTY!!!
Me and my husband had reserved a room for us paid for it before hand to book our room the guy I spoke with on the phone told me there was no deposit fee . Told me I wouldnt have to worry about a deposit fee and I questioned to make sure ! When me and my husband got there to check in the lady in the front was very rude and had an attitude. We had our kids with us !! Not to put our business out there but we didnt have that much money on us after booking the room ... When we got there she said we needed to pay a deposit and that we couldnt get a refund !. I explained to get our situation and showed her everything proof of be booking the room and more and she didnt tell us much and kept having attitude and being rude !!. We will not ever go there again there was no reason for her to act that way if I could put no stars I would ! Very disappointed . The pictures on the website are not true very false advertising as well.. the little picnic area was disgusting how can you enjoy a meal with family literally a few steps from the dumpster just my opinion!!.
No Stars. The Indian man has a Large German shepherd running throughout the property that is his. The wifes hair is never combed. And the Sista, who must be from out of town is a House ninja. I got the room online , specifically a smoking room for guests. The Dark Skinned Loud Black Cleaning Lady, assured me the room was a smoke room.I come back a weekend later and the Indian man and the House ninja tell me no smoking. And he wants $100 down. Cool no problem. So I stayed another weekend. LOOK AT the doors, one room is a smoke room. Thee other is not. Simple.Let me be quiet and show you what $61 bucks a day gets you at a roach motel, on San Antonios intentional poor side, the East-Side. Which is basically little mexico now. Straight up.Continued.....Stained couch from a local trap house. Light fixtures are uneven if not hanging. The toilet was from Dollar tree. The Dresser was chipped and cracked & fading. It must of came from offerup.NO REFRIGERATOR. NO REFRIGERATOR. NO REFRIGERATOR!!!. Cant turn the channel, because the box is tied to the back of the 1999 tv for some odd reason. Cigarette burns up the whole side of the tub. Doors chip, cracked, discolored. Bathroom Wall look like some beta male punched it. LockBox doesnt work. Mirror came from the Southside drive-in movie theater from the 90s.This place is trash. OYO customer is horrible. I tell the guy Saturday, I want my money back Ill go elsewhere. Not him, nor customer service took heed to my call. OYO, customer service hung up in my face 3 consecutive times when I called. The indian man said I had to do it through the app, which was not the case for my particular reservation. This hotel is behind the liquor store for a reason.Behind the motel is a free for all Camp back in the woods.Top worst hotel in San Antonio.....I mean little mexico.
The only thing good about this place was the housekeeper who was very nice. This place is awful, the owner is not a nice person who charges random extra fees and randomly opens doors on rooms without knocking, the area is dirty, and seems unsafe. Only half of kitchen appliances worked, but it appeared all utensils and cookware were stolen anyway. I booked this place online for myself and kids on the way to San Antonio for a job interview and didnt know what I was getting into because I didnt read the reviews - big mistake. We pulled up in an Uber and the driver was afraid to leave us there. Worst place Ive ever stayed in 35 years of traveling. I wouldnt recommend this place to people I dont like.
We booked over the phone, called ahead to confirm we would be there at 4am and then when we got there the front desk lady wouldn’t let us in or help at all. turned away totally.
Good location, but front desk lady didnt seem to care with my concerns. I had reserved a room with a kitchenette and she told me that the room I had didnt come with it even when I informed her that the photos of the room I reserved showed it came with it she told me that it would be more. Also wasnt aware that there was a $50 deposit which I still have not received. Towels and bed coverings were dirty and worn out. And wifi didnt work.
I would really try to avoid booking here. My friend and I came for a 2 day concert and we say that the trip would’ve been perfect if we got any other hotel. The room stunk like moldy cigars, there were stains everywhere in the room and on the beds, not the mention the roach we found. We had to buy our own towels and hand soap from the Walmart close by.
This was the worst hotel we ever stood at. The only reason we stood was cause we couldnt get our refund and I didnt want to loose our money for them to book the room to someone else. The room has a bad smell had to buy candles to take the smell out. The room was not very clean crickets in the room and outside. The people in the front was very very ruid. I baught Clorox wipes to clean the room cause it needed a good cleaning. Was the worst experience we ever had. So dont waist your money in this Oyo hotel you definitely get the money for a cheap room. Im so surprised there in business. Even if they sorry for the bad reviews they get they deserve it cause they dont care about there tenants. No not at all. The room was not very clean had to buy Clorox wipes to clean it up. Had crickets in the room was hard to sleep good thing I brang my ear plugs. Also the room had a bad smell to it baught candles to smell better
The staff , young beautiful lady was very nice and helpful always. The room is quiet. All day & nights. The air condition was very old , black mold , thick dust and the air that blows out stinks.Bed mattress is worn out , you can feel the springs when laying on it.Missing secondary door lock.Key card had problems everyday. But got quick fix at the reception. We found hair all around the floor. Also in the trash bin was a bunch of blond hair . It looks like someone threw up in the bin and it dried up.Room service is every 2 days but no bed sheets changed.
We had to buy a few things for this hotel like candles cause the room had a bad smell to it a roller for the toilet paper cause they didnt have one . The room wasnt so clean so my wife got some Clorox wipes to sanitize the room etc. The sheets and bedspread look so cheap that the comforter had a rip in it. The fan to the bathroom didnt work. Such a cheap and nasty hotel.
Would never go here I booked online. The woman over the phone said no security deposit The lady at the front desk says she’s not gonna give me a room scammed me for $92. She said deal with it with online support. I didn’t even stay there for my two nights and they still charge me $92 I went to the knights inn down the street. With no problem don’t waste your time here.
If I could rate a zero I would. Worst experience of my life! From the moment I checked in to checkout it was horrible. First, of all 20 min into checking in the owner knocks on my door she goes on to question my transaction making me feel like I did something wrong which I didn’t she got after her employee in front of me which was very unprofessional. The manager/owner is rude and obnoxious to say the least and very very unprofessional she has no business in the service industry. On to the second discrepancy my room key/card every time I would leave the room and came back it didn’t work which lead me to deal with this lady and I dreaded it every time she went on to say that blue jeans demagnetizes the key card which is completely false she was being a TOTAL B****H. The room on the other hand was fine no issues other than the key card and the hateful woman manager. It was the worst weekend of my life and I posted a picture and location of where not to go. My advice to woman owner your in the wrong business look into a different venture lady because you lack people skills in all levels!!! I will never go to HOTEL HELL again!!! And lastly please save your time I don’t need your apologies and that I do need is FIX THE PROBLEM!!!!! 😡🤬😡🤬
Worst Hotel I ever stayed.Issue 1: Booked a room with two queen beds and a sofa bed on hotels dotcom a week ahead of check-in date. Tried to call the hotel several times, no one lifts the phone. When I finally showed up on check-in day they said they are sold out of rooms with sofa bed. How come the room I booked well in advance becomes sold out when the website clearly said 6 rooms left when I was booking it? WTH!. I ended up taking the room anyway as it was too late to book another hotel.Issue2: Dirty rooms. The bathroom door never locks from inside.Issue3: No hotel phone in the room!Issue4: Sheets are very rough and uncomfortable to sleep.Issue 5: Toilet paper holder is missing! There are many other issues. Save your money, time and well being and and go else where!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
They charged me a $50 deposit and still a month later i have not recieved it back and have called and written emails and nothing i was alone , no guest , no pets , just slept, Over $100 to sleep in this place does come close to make it worth stay . Will never return and dont recomend even if it was the last place in town
Spiders in the beds, don’t even want to know what its stained from but very dirty couch, bathroom door doesn’t even close, smoke detector was disconnected and no batteries, microwave was rusted and very dirty, as well as a very old safe filled with random food. Overall very dissatisfied since there is a baby with us and was not about to sleep in those conditions. Waste if money since we cant get our money back. Stay away.
The good:It was quiteThe bad:The mirror was on the floor, the blankets had burn holes and ink stains all over them, the vanity was lopsided and falling off the wall, the towel holder was pulled out and falling off the wall, the vanity light didn’t work, the toilet seat was held on by one fastener, the toilet paper dispenser was broken and had one arm, the shower curtain had holes in it and was hanging on by a couple hangers, the tub was a disaster. The fiberglass was literally peeling off the bottom, the curtain rod was practically falling off the wall, the vanity and bathroom floors were molded and mildewed, and had so much caulking on them, and the A/C didn’t work for anything. And the ugly:The owners own two Range Rovers that they parked on the property and they keep their facility in this condition. there’s something wrong with that system !!!
This was by far the worst experience ever. I booked 2 rooms. Both rooms were filthy and complete. 1 room had dirt stains under the bathroom sink, 2 drawers of the cabinets were missing, and the pull had no bedding present to accommodate the pullout bed. Given that we had drove 3.5 hours to spend the day in New Braunsfels and drove 40 min to San Antonio to eat at one of our favorite restaurants we thought to book this hotel since it was nearby. So we got to our hotel room pretty late took showers and just dealt with what we had. Went to bed and woke up at 2am with something biting me. Got up and looked and this bed was infested with bed bugs. Needless to say, the lady at the front desk nonchalantly said there was nothing she could do. She offered another room with only 1 king bed that would not suit the 5 people in this room. I asked for a refund and she said she wasnt going to do that. She refused continously. I asked for the manager and she told me she was the manger. She wouldnt give me her name. I highly do NOT recommend this establishment.
The place was quite and its ok to stay. The bathroom door just needing fixing. I was glad theres a stove, but we didnt use it. Thank you. The third bed was not good but we use it anyway. Hahaha! This is what business room look like. But again I booked it, computer change my profile, I found it out the second day. My boss said change it but I didnt want too. I dont know if he call them or not. But we had a good night sleep. My kids didnt complain, so were good. I didnt like the room looks, but we are good. Worker are good. Thank you!God bless always. JL
First off, we selected a bedroom suite but somehow ended up with just a room. For the price we paid, it wasnt worth it. Wi-Fi was shotty at best, no top lock on the door, microwave broken and no telephone. Also no housekeeping. Horrible place. And how can youcharge that much and not offer breakfast. We will never stay here or any OYO Hotels after this.
Hotel is clean, staff very helpful. Place was good too. But breakfast was great. And close to main sites. Staff at reception desk was so nice and pleasant. Nice touch with the room amenities, toothbrush toothpaste, comb, sponge. Our stay at the Hotel San Antonio was extremely successful; the hotel lived up to expectations and beyond. Staff was very helpful and friendly - Location was perfect for our city break. On site parking was a bonus.
DO NOT BOOK HERE AT ALL!! Avoid this place at all costs. Save your money and go elsewhere. The pictures you see when you book are all a lie. This place is filthy. Yellow sheets and pillowcases with wholes in them all. The ac unit is disgusting. The chairs and couches have stains from who knows what. Didnt even want to sit on them. A health and security hazard all around. Someone should call the fire department on them. No fire detectors... DO NOT BOOK HERE AT ALL!!
Great location for all the key and beautiful sights of San Antonio. The staff was charming, helpful and considerate. The afternoon tea facility was a very pleasant surprise. Rooms were good, breakfast excellent and the whole atmosphere in the hotel was just right. A pleasure to have stayed here and I would fully and confidently recommend it to anybody. First class with particular praise for all the staff. Well done.
Stayed there for a month, housekeeping were very nice and courteous. The female owner is very rude, ask me to leave after getting back from work.I wouldnt recommend any one to stay there.
The sheets were dirty the pillowcases looked like they hadn’t been washed the ac never cooled off the jacuzzi tub had hair all over looked like had never been cleaned. I stayed there before an it was nice but this time for the price I paid it was not worth it I will not be going back
1. AC was very old and broken.. worked but put out a very musty smell.2. Door had a gap all the way around it.3. Lamp in room didnt work.4. Dresser mirror was on the ground next to the dresser.5. Counted 5 holes/punches in the walls throughout the room.6. Mini fridge kept making very loud noises throughout the night.7. Tub in bathroom had brownish rust stains.8. Towels had rust stains.9. Only 1 roll of toilet paper & 1 wash cloth.10. Bed was itchy.. seemed un clean.Only
I got this hotel using my companies discount however even though I had set the booking and thought I had paid turns out an additional 50 dollars fee was charge plus the amount of the staying the night. Once I was already given the room and settled down in the room, the lady from front desk comes and knocks on my door asking that she needed to inspect the room because she was going to switch me rooms since she had made a mistake by giving me someone elses room. Keep in mind I just got my stuff down and had settled down everything. Anyhow then she asks whether I had used anything from the room already like towel, etc. Which I told her yes I just washed my hand, then she leaves and say nevermind just stay here. Like really you just came to bug me about a mistake you did and wanting me to move plus I literally just drove a good while to get to San Antonio which I just want to rest. 1st and last time I am staying here. I dont recommend this hotel at all
Location is perfect. Horrible check in experience. Booked a room with 2 queen beds 1 pullout... Was told upon arrival to room that we couldnt be accommodated because they gave our room to someone else. Even though we already paid online for the room. Then I was told I couldnt be refunded because I ordered online. So I ask for another room to accommodate the lack of bed space. I was told there are no more rooms. I witnessed her checking in someone else without a reservation 10min later. Lots of arguing outside, and late night door banging. This was definitely horrible for only a 1 night stay. The rooms are not the cleanest, but you get what you pay for.
If there was a way to give it no stars I would. I came to this place because I absolutely loved the OYO hotel I stayed at in Sugarland. But this one disappointed me deeply. I came into my room with no towel, door was jammed and roaches outside. Im pretty sure the bed has bugs because I was waking up itching all night. It needs improvement honestly but the lady in the front tried..
Rooms was dirty, tub was not cleaned, had one wash cloth and the one we did have was dirty, the refrigerator was dirty no dogs allowed but the owners had a German shepherd at the hotel, went out to my vehicle a couple of times and he ran towards us, when I asked for the Wi-Fi password owner seemed upset and to top it off Wi-Fi was horrible and didn’t work, drugs being done outside in parking lot worse experience EVER!!!! And you have to check out by 10 or you will get charged an additional $10.. Don’t STAY!! I will give this hotel zero ⭐️
Great experience! Newly remodeled. Best Oyo Ive ever stayed in, and Ive stayed in a lot. I live in hotels all over San Antonio. This one feels like a higher end hotel with some of the touches. Even the towels are larger and better than I usually see. Fresh painted doors, new beds, wall mounted TV. Things you never see for the price. Fridge, little nice couch, etc. Plus the owners are very nice people. Treat them right. They do a great job.
Worst staying experience ever! Don’t come to this hotel. The reason webooked OYÓ was because they had “NON SMOKING” rooms. However, our room was full of strong smoking smell. We asked to change the room, but hotel staff refused and said if we want to change it, we need to call online center and the refund is not guaranteed. We were here for the concert in AT&T center, so we didn’t have time to make a change. Besides this, the towels and carpet were so dirty when we entered. Dust covered the air-con, refrigerator were untidy and smelly. We used our own towels during the stay lastly and not dare to sleep on their pillow. Next day, our stuffs attached that disgusting smoking smell. Never in OYO again.
The rooms were plain and simple. Dont expect luxury for the price that you pay. The rooms were very clean. The front desk you had to speak through a window but thats alright. Staff was very nice. The house keepers were very friendly and cleaned the room without giving attitudes like some other places ive been to. Could use some new sheets and pillowcases but like i siad its very nice for the price. Overall i will be back when i travel again to San Antonio. Thanks for the awsome stay and thanks to the friendly staff.
Worst experience in my life! We stay there because we were extremely tired after flying back from Michigan, and still had to drove 4 hours to our house... there were bugs in the floor, there was food on the fridge from who knows... the sheet were stained and this morning when I woke up the fitted sheet moved and what it looked like there was blood stains in the mattress! And then to top it off the manager was outside was living his dog, and when I was checking out he asked me if I took his towels, cuz he saw my husband with white towels, which we used to cover up because we were gross out by the sheets and blankets they had, which had stains and burn wholes from cigarettes, which clearly stated that I was a “non-smoking” room! I book this hotel cuz it was the closes one to us and cheapest one but I totally regret it! If you can avoid it please do so!
Horribly misrepresented, other than proximity to San Antonio tourist spots its not worth $25 a night much less near $100 a night charged. Blood , glitter, stains , broken fixtures, rude staff, drug deals, crack heads selling food stamps, nope nope nope
We were very impressed with city and part of that had to do with our hosts at the San Antonio. The staff is very friendly and helpful including specific recommendations for eating, shopping, and activities. The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring the citys maze of streets. The place, though small, was a welcome outlet for the children and had a great view on the roof.
You get what you pay for. I expected a cheap motel but the pricing of $60 might be a tad high. Only the bare minimum of supplies are set out. 2 Towels, 1 stained hand towel and 1 stained washcloth, 2 plastic cups and 1 roll of toilet paper. The rooms do come equipped with microwaves and mini fridges which is nice. There was no deadbolt and only half of the upper safety lock was in place so we had to rely on the lock on the doorknob. Also there was no working smoke detector in our room. I don’t recommend this place. There is a Motel 6 and a Super 8 close by that would be much better.
Absolutely horrible from the very beginning. Didnt even stay to fall asleep. Had a bedbug crawling on me after I washed up. Manager wouldnt even look at the videos I took nor refund what I spent. Very disappointed because I usually enjoy staying with OYO. But this visit really doesnt even deserve one star.
The reservations guy was incredible. The lady at check in was so sweet and helpful to my daughter and the room was clean and decent the property is well kept. We will be definitely doing business with them again whenever family comes into town again. Highly recommend this place to anyone. We are very very impressed!
Came in for a short vacation and had the pleasure of staying at this wonderful property. From the outstanding service at check-in, to the unbelievably good restaurant, to the delightful place and activities, this hotel has it all and really does it right. We loved the charming retro decor and 70s architecture, and its so great to see that the owners maintained the charm even though everything is obviously new and in perfect condition.
We spent six nights at the San Antonio near AT&T Center, and our stay was nothing short of fabulous. Our rooms were comfortable and exceptionally quiet...no hall noise or sounds coming from nearby rooms. The grounds and atmosphere are lovely, and you just can’t beat the location. I honestly can’t think of a negative thing to say. I highly recommend the San Antonio near AT&T Center!
Im not sure what Hotel these recent reviews for the past few days are from, but that isnt the hotel that I stayed at last night located in between East Houston Street and I-10 90 on South w w White Road. I booked through the website following a friends recommendation, and even though I had Oyo money, they still charge my card. It was only $20, so I wasnt that worried about it. Upon arrival the outside doesnt look that bad. When I went up to the front desk you have to press a button, it took a few minutes and a very angry attack dog to finally get ahold of somebody. I was informed for the first time that even though I already paid for the room with my card I would need $50 cash to put down as a deposit. Not wanting to pay outrageous ATM fees, I decided to go he cash back at one of the local stores. We go back to check in, and were told that we needed to make the bed and make sure that the towels didnt get dirty otherwise we wouldnt get our deposit back. I called customer service for the O yo app, and was informed that the $50 deposit was for all of their properties and it was on the check out check-in screen. I double checked and its not oh, and they also do not offer refunds no matter what. Now on to the best part, the hotel description and the lovely occupants you get to endure. Upon walking into the room, it actually looks pretty decent. There was plenty of sitting space plenty of walking around space and it even had a kitchenette which I was not expecting, and we also did not use. The couch and chairs looked a little old, so we didnt specs for bugs, and we didnt find anything besides dirt and obvious that they do not move the furniture when they clean. The sheets and towels were slightly stained, not enough to where you thought they were washed, but to where you knew that they were taking care of their Linens. All non-smoking rooms, which is amazing. Now choose the really really awful parts. As me and my husband got finished giving our daughters baths, we started hearing disturbance outside so we go out, bringing with us a cigarette so we can have a smoke while we were out there. There was a large lady, I think, with pigtails and earphones screaming at anybody who happened to be outside. Turn on me and my husband as soon as he walked out sorry calling us drug addicts and telling me that I needed to lose some weight. Now, the drug part is a very big lie, but I probably could stand to lose a few pounds haha. So, after she was trying to get us to I guess argue with her, we just put our cigarettes at went back inside she continued for half an hour to bang on our windows and doors screaming at us. I was going to call the front desk, but since I knew they didnt have a refund policy I figured the locks should be good enough to keep her out and it was only $20. So we went inside and went to bed. A couple hours later we are woken up to hear bloody murder screaming. It sounded like somebody was being murdered outside of our room. So we once again look out the window to see what is going on to find a black woman beating the holy heck out of this crackhead lady. My husband being the instigator he loves to be decided he was going to go outside and smoke yet another cigarette and asked me to join him, I told him know that I was going to stay inside and hope they didnt break through hours freaking window and attack us while they are at it. Since I have lived in the ghetto before this, I am well aware that calling the cops is going to result in one or two things. One. They never show up because they already know whats going on or two. You end up with your tire slice tonight. By the way, we did have a flat tire in the morning.Suffice to say, if youre looking for a great deal and a decent room I could see you staying here. If youre looking for a show oh, you should probably also give this place to go. If you want a nice relaxing night after a hard days of driving or work, stay the heck away from this property it is one of the worst Ive ever been in.
I stayed in room 123 last night and it was disgusting. Because I had already pre-paid it would have been difficult to get a refund. We asked for clean towels and we ended up with worst stained towels, sheets and pillow cases. We slept in our clothes and didn’t even take full showers because of the nastyness. Good things I brought our own wash rags. This place should be condemned!!!!!
The dirtiest hotel I have ever stayed in! The walls were filthy poop handprints in bathroom on door and walls. Someone spit on the wall was never cleaned before me and my two small children checked in. Looked like soda splashed from the floor to the roof on the wall nearest the beds. The super old box tv was staticy sound super distorted. The carpets were stained. The owner is very very nice. Promised we would get it right the next day even offered me another room equally as dirty but did give me cleaning supplies to clean it myself lol Sent housekeeper to my room the following day she said she could not clean the walls they needed to be painted and all she could do for the carpets is vacuum. The surfaces were not even clean here. The bathroom light did not work but they fixed the next day. Offered to get me another tv but we just checked out early was refunded for additional days. Combat Roach traps in all drawers and behind fridge still saw a couple roaches. Dirty linens. Maybe if they had a better housekeeper and did a major deep cleaning they would be much better. But for the price its not worth it at all.
Booked a room 2 weeks in advance. We drove 5 hrs there and they said they were overbooked and couldnt accommodate us cuz we checked in 1 hr later! Place is trash! The lady at the front was no help and kept coming in and out of a guest room everytime a person would come in. 3 ppl after us had same problem and were complaining they gave their rooms away! Stay away from this place!
What a place! Check in was fast and efficient. The room was amazing with views over the garden. The stay was wonderful, and we enjoyed the stay side service. The hotel was well equipped with rooms and water bottles available. We tried several of the restaurants and the food was great
Located at end of backstreet just steps from main tourist attractions. Stayed in duplex room with rooftop. Lovely views at sunset. Room bit noisy sometimes from pub in street but closed French doors bring silence. Reasonable selection for breakfast and afternoon tea in quiet central atrium. Reception and concierge very helpful with local recommendations. Would happily stay here again.
The sheets and the towels were dirty. The room hadn’t been swept or mopped, it smelled horrible. The bed was broken. There were urine stains everywhere. It smelled disgusting. The staff was rude. Save your money and DO NOT STAY HERE.
Pictures are deceiving. The walls were disgusting, especially the bathroom door. There was burn marks all over the bath tub. Carpet was nasty. The bedding had all kinds of holes in it. And the best part...there were bugs. Little cockroaches. So no I will not be going back.
Thinking these other reviews on here are fake. Theres no breakfast, my sheets were dirty and my pillowcases had makeup from someone before me.... I could have survived with just clean sheets but there were roaches. Dead bugs in all the corners. Dusty and grimy shower. Stains on the towels and cigarette burns everywhere
Right near the Central, San Antonio near AT&T Center is a perfect respite from the crowd. Bathrooms are small. Comfortable and cozy rooms, with convenient breakfast in the lobby. Tea is served in the afternoon. Our several friends met on the roof deck each evening for wine, overlooking the nearby city. Most of all the staff is special
If you want the perfect location - the sites of San Antonio within easy walking distance and a hotel that makes you feel like you’re staying in a city (and not a standard 4* hotel found anywhere in the western world) - then San Antonio near AT&T Center will be good for you. The staff was both welcoming and very helpful. Breakfasts were simple but delicious.
If less than one star was an option thats what Id select. We are here for the holidays and stayed at this hotel because its close to family. The office attendant is extremely rude and very unprofessional. There was a misunderstanding and the manager, did attempt to rectify the issue however the female in the front office was just way too rude, nasty and disrespectful. We happily accepted a refund and stayed some place else.
Ive just got back from 4 nights at San Antonio - AT&T Center in Rose Park Inn and I cannot recommend this hotel highly enough. Its located exactly where you need it to be with everything you need on your doorstep. The roof terrace is an absolute beauty with stunning views of the central from up there. It was that special my boyfriend decided to propose to me up there!
The room was really bad. Looked sooo dirty. Didn’t want to shower their barely any towels it was just horrible. Just needed a place to sleep after a concert with my girls and figure to get a reasonable motel near by and spend more money on my girls…. Never again!!! ☹️
I would give this place a zero they accept booking even though they are fully booked its literally a scam.
My family and I have just recently spent one night staying in the hotel san Antonio - at&t center and what an amazing experience it was. From the moment we pulled up outside, every staff member we dealt with was a delight. We queued up to check in where a lovely lady was giving out bottles of drinks and mini ice creams.
Awesome location. Close to (provides a shuttle). Have an adorable shop, a restaurant and place with a bar. The manager, Daniel, is wonderful! I can’t recommend this place enough! Many rooms have balconies! Clean and hospitable! I look forward to returning!
Great hotel in san Antonio! Perfect location, great amenities (that rooftop place!), and super clean and nice. Affordable and the staff were very helpful. The rooms were updated and very nice. Did not do the breakfast buffet, but it looked good. Definitely recommend!
We stayed at Hotel San Antonio near AT&T Center for 4 nights at the beginning of April. The hotel is located a short walk from the central and is very convenient for all the historic sites of San Antonio. The decor is tasteful and makes the best of this historic building. Our room was on the ground floor with double doors leading to our own delightful garden terrace.
The room was very clean. Looked way better than i expected. Now the bad room smelled like smoke and i could smell smoke coming from outside into my room. People sitting in their vehicals doing smoking weed with music really loud and office does nothing to stop them.
Rude employees. Yellow pillows. Dirty towels. When front door is closed you can still see outside. A/c couldn’t be plugged in due to electrical outlet being covered. Everything is stained and people dealing drugs in parking lot.
This oyo hotel was very clean the staff was very respectful. Beds were comfortable . there was also a sleeper sofa . minifidge .microwave. Table chairs to have dinner on the big plus is that its set back away from the main Street so like some other hotels you hear all the hussle and bussle from the traffic that keeps you from sleeping at night this hotel is very peaceful and your able to get a good nights rest . So dont be fooled by the big motels do yourself and your loved ones a favor and go here where you can rest assured youll get a clean room and a good nights sleep .
We stayed in Superior Rooms in San Antonio near AT&T Center. The location of the hotel is excellent, near many restaurants, the Central and City. We enjoyed the daily tea time. My only complaint was the nightly noise from the bar across the street. Try to get higher floors, and splurge on the deluxe rooms if available.
Management overbooked rooms and I was matter of factly turned away as a single mom with kids on a holiday weekend despite a PREPAID reservation. Will NEVER 👎 be back.
I cannot speak highly enough of Hotel San Antonio - AT&T Center. We were blown away by everything! We stayed with our 3 children aged 9, 10, 11 and another couple. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a room on the 1st floor!
Their staff is nice, the room we got had some dirt by the stove but I think with new management their still working on everything aside from that the beds were great room was big an cozy. And everything else was well cleaned.
We often break up our flight from Australia to Europe and stay at the Hotel San Antonio. A free bus shuttle pickup at white rd and delivered to and from the hotel. Rooms are well appointed and comfortable with free wifi. Busy area with shopping across the road and the relaxing East Park within walking distance.
The tv remote didn’t function to change channels. After two days of only spectrum news and four days with no tv remote control I was frustrated and ready to leave.
We didnt plan on staying at this hotel originally, however we are glad we did. The rooms were newly remolded and very spacious. Handicap rooms available as well as smoking rooms. The only yhing we didnt care for was that their was no continental breakfast.
The lady that checked me in charge me a $50 deposit for security deposit. Then the wifi password did not work. The room had damage in it. So I am not going again. I deserve my deposit back
If i could give no i stars i would. The lady at the window is very unprofessional and rude. besides letting her dog bark in my face at the window while talking to her because she didnt want to hear what i was saying, she put a towel at the opening of the window so she could not hear what i was saying. Over the phone i was told that i could check in before 1pm i get to tge location at 12:45pm and was told i had to wait until 4pm to check in. I wait for 3 hours to then be told about a 50$ deposit that was not mentioned when i booked on line or called for check in times. She did nothing to try to help and to get a refund will take 24 hours and verification thru the location i just had problems with. No matter how low the pruces save yourself a headach and stress. STAY AWAY FROM THIS OYO!!!!
They have bed bugs !!! My husband and I checked in ,, The pictures on the website look nothing like the hotel and the room smelled like smoke and had burn marks on the tables. As soon as we took the sheets off the bed there was a bed bug sitting on the pillow in one sitting near the foot of the bed under the blankets do not go here!!! (( we didn’t stay for our reservation))
The worst of all San Antonio locations! The management of the Oyo Hotel 312 S WW White Rd 78219are SO disrespectul...××× You cannot enter the lobby. The front lobby door is locked all day. There is a vicious dog, German Shepherd that roams the lobby area.Thw front door is dirty, muddy, with the paw marks of the dog.You must always talk to the Daughter through the outdoor-facing window.xxx You cannot access your reserved room until after 4pm. This is her policy! This is a very tiny hotel with few rooms. ...They have no support staff....Go ahead and spend another few bucks and stay somewhere else.
This is a well located 24 room hotel with friendly committed staff who worked hard to make our stay memorable. Once the home of the Mayor of San Antonio it was converted over 3 years to a clean modern hotel which opened just over 2 years ago.
I made a reservation to this hotel and when I get there they tell me they gave my room away to someone else. Now there charging me for the room saying I never showed up and I did show up, they denied me my room and want to keep my money! This place is nothing but a scam!! Save your money and find something else.
Front desk was very rude. Wouldn’t even check my reservation, but told me there were no rooms. Extremely rude, no courtesy, and very unprofessional. I will no longer be choosing this hotel chain for future bookings. Customer service is Everything!
We stayed at Hotel San Antonio near AT&T Center for three nights in mid-June 2014, and thought it was great. Fabulous location, a short block from the central and the Jewish Quarter, walking distance to all tourist sites/food/shopping, (a traditional fantastic bar) is right outside the front door.
What a way to celebrate your 55th birthday, amazing hotel with very attentive staff. Amazing stay but over priced drinks at the roof top bar. The Sunday brunch was out of this world. Can’t wait to return.
Friendly staff, but the rooms are dirty.hait all over the bathtoom. Drawers have what looks to be roach remains in it. Dusty nonworking lamp, and the mirrors are gross.
Worst hotel I’ve ever stayed at. They charged me an extra $50 for a deposit which was not mentioned before. Then the room smelled so bad, there was stains on the shower curtain and towels. The bed had a chunk of hair on it. The tenant next door was bbqing and listening to loud music at 12 am. There was holes all in the wall and the lady in front was very rude.
The place is ok. Quite, hidden and clean. Cleaning Lady was great but the Lady staying the running that program there very very very bad additude and tries to talk to you like if your stupid and you dont know anything.
From the moment we arrived at the San Antonio - AT&T Center” it was clear, we were in for a treat. Fabulously friendly and attentive staff was on hand 24 hours a day to answer any question we cared to throw at them. The hotel is in a prime position for all of exquisite attractions and excellent famous bars. The breakfast was fantastic as was the roof terrace and place.
San Antonio near AT&T Center offers one of the best locations in the San Antonio area - you can walk out of the San Antonio near AT&T Center right in to the buzz, wading through beautiful narrow cobble stone lanes lined with shops and restaurants. Staff and the other front desk manager (sorry, forgot the name) were extremely warm, personable and made us feel at home right from the beginning.
This hotel over booked ship were didnt have a room for the night. Even because we booked online they told us were wouldnt receive our money back for 7~10 days!!! They werent even willing to comp us anoght on another day!! First customer service ever!!!!
Rude Housekeeper Opened Door While I Was Changing Had A 2 Day Stay And Went To Room The Second Day And Said We Had To Check Out. When We Paid For 2 Days. Better Hosekeepers And Will Give It A 4 Star!
The room was nasty and seriously needed TLC. Broken cabinets, dirty, bathroom door closure, counter tops ruined. Do not recommend it.
If I can write this Motel a zero I would I called I got a reservation I paid for it online I was told no security deposit check in at 2:00 I get there Im told $50 deposit and check in at 3:00 of course I made the reservation after 9:00 for that same night so no refund not worth the time not worth the money
OYO Hotel in San Antonio ,Texas, was very accommodating .My husband and I are disabled and travel with our service dog.It is refreshing to have services that meet our needs. There was flexibility with an early check in and some.additional time checking out, allowing us to depart at our pace. The room was very clean and housekeeping services attentive, extra towels and replenished toiletries daily. We enjoyed our stay very much.
I arrived to the hotel showed the lady my reservation and she told me that they were sold out but I have a reservation I was turned away this was the most embarrassing thing ever I arrived at 6 pm to check in I thought I had until midnight before they would give my room away ruined my entire weekend was home visiting family and the worst is the fact they sent me a message saying that I didn’t arrive and my reservation was canceled which is not the truth My room was given away
The experience wasn’t palatable. The room smells so bad, Cockroaches all over the place. Worst Place to lodge
Do not stay here, place is a wreck. Pillows were yellow, had blood stains from I’m assuming the bed bugs. Overall a HEALTH HAZARD!
This place is something else. I made a reservation over a week ago with a promotion code from there company which was good except when we go to check in and get denied the room because of the price and then they go and say that they dont have any rooms right after I cancelled my room
They mislead us! We booked a room with 2 beds, even with a confirmation picture with the 2 beds, and at the end we got a really old sofa/bed even without sheets and we even asked to the concierge for extras sheets and they just said its no included
WiFi unobtainable. Staff unhelpful. Reservation cancelled by motel without informing me. Beds atrocious and broken. Book somewhere else if you want a comfortable nights sleep.
We drove into San Antonio at midday to check into San Antonio near AT&T Center. The GPS and the local maps took us to a street clearly marked do not enter and after much circling and cursing, we parked our car and walked to the hotel to find out what to do.
It was filthy it was disgusting it had never ever been cleaned there was hair and paper on the floors and mirrors had never been clean the microwave nothing work the microwave didnt work they were no late lampshades on the lamps it was God awful
This property went above and beyond to accommodate me with a great king suite room. I found Melinda very helpful and 100% satisfied in how in was treated.
Great room for the price. Friendly staff and very nice location. I would definitely book my next stay with them.
Stayed here 1 night, very nice rooms. Clean, smells good. And the employees here are GREAT!
The property is maintained beautifully. The staff is friendly and the location is perfect. I loved it so much I stayed an extra day
I like this hotel bcuz of the things that around??? Places to eat, a convience store and a dollar store. Also city bus stop feet away. This picture of my adventure is this ring I got as a gift at a local pawn shop.
Good are alright but in website shows a price then when you go to the location to check inn rates are to high a different bs.. not good don’t recommend.
He has hidden fees and deposits if you pay online..be careful when cancelling..he will charge you..overall not a good place..as I was leaving..i saw alotta thrown out mattresses..so may have bed bugs too..
The hotel was horrible we arrived and the resepcion was very mean and rude gave us our room we entered and it was a non smoking and it stunk horrible to cigar we went back to the recepsion and told her that it smelled bad she gave us another room and it was just as smelly as the other one, they have horrible beds stained bedspreads the table all peeled than we went back to the reception the lady an Indian we asked our money back and she call to a number on her phone we told her to return the money she closed us the super horrible window was heard where the event to close it and another girl came and gave us the money back because of the worst experience the other one who arrived alone said that it the other lady was new but it was very RUDE and she was angry it was the most horrible and disgusting hotel.
Dirty place , rude maid , manager without authority to take care of the cleaning issueBad service , don’t go thereI’ve been charged twice , lots of wasted time
This stay was very disappointing. Especially after my other 2 stays were nice and that is why I picked to stay again.
The room was clean beyond expectations. Although i do have to say the wifi is no good
Dont waste your time & money service sux they didnt want to give us more towels cuz we were gonna checking out n a couple of hours
It was not very clean and bed had a sunken part in it plus they had to switch rooms after bring in there for only 2min because tv not working
Negative 1 🌟, 95$ dollars for one night no Wi-Fi no service, Roaches everywhere, Sunken bed, anyone who likes this place is way way under class
Parking lot was empty, but when it was time for me to check in they still didnt have rooms that were ready. This was at 2:00 in the afternoon.
Nicely remodeled rooms! Great price and location very quiet and excellent staff.
Maid service couldve been friendlier.... but the rooms were cool!
Worst experience ever.went to work just so the workers can go threw my. Stuff...they went as low as stealing a charger.who does that???will never come back.
Im enjoying this beautiful location, very relaxing and quiet, and its definitely a must come back for me..
Dirty dirt place(roaches eveywhere). Management lady sucks and waaaaaaay over priced 95 dollars
The people running the place were rude they lied and did not want to keep peoples reservations it would not give you a receipt they change peoples deposits

A negative one. See photos. I strongly suggest staying elsewhere.
It sucks there, the services, roaches, the rooms are filthy, and poor wifi
Clean rooms everything uptown date stayed 4 nights

Too Ghetto for my taste!. Insecure and no surveillance at all.

Nice place to stay at
We booked a week ago and when we arrived they did not respect the reservation made, they told us that they did not have rooms and we were not the only ones, the owner or manager made the employee go out to move a car (another person who had a reservation) that was parked in the place closest to the office (free place for clients) so she can park herself.Terrible service, not recommended unless you want to be surprised.
It is a good hotel, it is not luxurious, but it is comfortable. I recommend it. It is a quiet and safe place... the service and cleanliness is good. Honestly, if someone wants something much better... it will cost more... this one Hotel is simple but very nice.
Terrible service, I will never stay at this hotel again, I dont recommend it at all and Im just going to give it one star because it requires a rating to publish it, its a shame there are no stars with a - sign
Very bad service, the air conditioning does not work and they do not even change the towels
It appeared at $45 and upon arrival I paid $71, they just hook you up...
Everything very good
Very bad service and hygiene.
