This place is AWESOME! I needed a tank for my vape on a Sunday last week and everywhere was CLOSED. So looked up American and they were OPEN and AWESOME! Cynthia helped me find one that would work with my atomizers to save juice. And everything is CHEAP and AWESOME here! got the tank for 30% less than the other shops I go to. This will be my shop from now on! TY American and God Bless AMERICA! Happy 4th tomorrow everyone!

BEST SMOKESHOP IN ALL OF SAN DIEGO !! Ive visited about 25 smokeshops from San Ysidro up to Oceanside and everywhere in-between and I can guarantee you will not find a better routinely stocked, un-cluttered and neat, with DIRT CHEAP prices along with a great manager and cute staff. You can expect to find your favorite products but 20-70% (seriously) cheaper than your local shop. Make the drive to San Marcos. It is worth it!! Plus they have a rewards program and text coupons. Staff was friendly and helpful, kind and courteous in showing products and answering questions about them.Prices are reasonable, especially for good quality products.The store’s appearance was clean, and inviting. The display cases against the wall are backlit and neatly organized.

I go in there two to three times a month for various things and the staff has always been very helpful and they always seem to have everything that I need, theyre all friendly, and professional Im definitely not going to any other store

A newer female employee didnt greet me when I came in and when I went to the counter she didnt say hello in my opinion thats not customer service and Ive been a loyal customer for over 10 years just to simply let Sammy know that particular employee that was working at 6:10 is very rude and she has the attitude of not wanting to help anybody but rather being on her phone

My 1st time in this place, and it was a fantastic experience. When I say they have what u need, no matter the price point, they do. I had questions and even though there was a handful of customers in there, Cynthia made the time. She answered all my questions, she was so nice (and very knowledgeable) And the best part? Non rushed, she was so awesome. I bought what I needed, and found a couple of bonuses too, the prices here are A++

Absolutely love this place! This is one of my fave smoke shops, if not my favorite!!! They have decent prices, and Ive been to other places that sell the same products and they beat their prices!!! This one nectar collector that I bought here for $10, other places sell it for $15 - $20... So, theyre beating those other places by 50 - 100% on the price!!! I go to this Smoke Shop for almost all of my smoke shop needs, except for like the one or two things that they dont carry... Other than that, theyre my NUMBER ONE GO-TO place!!! They even have the cheapest cans of butane than ANYWHERE ELSE Ive been to!!! I will continue to be a repeat and loyal customer as long as their doors are open!!!!!!! This smoke shop is the absolute worst shop that has ever been issued a business license. They sell broken products, and when you try to return them within an hour of purchasing, they will not accept the return.We purchased an E-rig for over $100. It was defective right out of the box. We tried to return it or exchange it with a working unit, but the owner got irate and was completely unreasonable. He said we need to contact the E-rig manufacturer for a return, even though it was only an hour since we purchasedDo not spend any money here. Buyer beware, bad business practices and bad owner.

Great shop for prices on all sorts of items other places gouge you for. Sodas are a great value to and the staff both Damien and the girl who works there really seem to be professional and answered questions for my friend so that his vaping experience was improved.They knew what atomizer he needed and the selection was impressive. Would definitely recommend to try, looking around they have a lot of inventory.

This USE to be my favorite smoke shop ABSOLUTELY wonderful people, they still are but some of them need attitude checks, I will no longer be coming to this vape store anymore, I will do the drive to Oceanside outer limits , I bought 2 stun guns and the gentleman that helped me knew the “stun” part wasn’t working, but I took it with me as he said charge it and if it doesn’t work bring it back (not my problem if this isn’t procedure) , I needed the stunners tomorrow so I tried charging it yesterday ( yes I should have tried sooner, but I guess the deaths should have waited too) I was treated like a thief by the manager in the Escondido new location when I brought it in , I searched for the number to the store , guess what it’s not there because it’s new , so I called San Marcos for some advice on what to do as I do need it , that was the whole purpose of buying it , The blonde at San Marcos answered and I am ALWAYS so nice and vice versa , well she pretty much hung up on me after so politely (total sarcasm) told me I could have the one in her car, and rudely hung up, so I called back to let her know that I decided not to do that , she answered the phone with “How can I help you AGAIN” totally snarky , I was polite and told her I was just calling to let you know I wasn’t gonna come and I hung up not going back to the store. Good job guys.

I always come here and the service was good till this racist karen attending only white people we been waiting for 20 min after walking in and not even a hello welcome in and help only white customers what minority money is not good enough. American smoke Shop you need to fire or train your employees to no be racist against minority.

STAY AWAY -VERY BAD BUSINESS!! They will rip you off! We spend thousands here and the owner got mad when he sold us a broken piece and we wanted to exchange it with a working one.This terrible business is proof of why retail is dead. Trash shop.

I love this place! Prices A1, people super nice and knowledgeable, and to top it all off they have the brand Blazy Susan!!! I have never ever seen them in stores, I 100% will be coming back for more. That brand is my favorite!!

I had a very unpleasant experience with the dark haired lady with glasses but the young dude and girl in there hooked it up. I travel from escondido to this location since they have the best selection and prices in San Diego. The two people working in the store today helped me with compassion and great customer support.Thank you

My favorite smoke shop around. I drive from fallbrook specifically for this place . Amazing prices, good quality items, and good customer service . Although the middle aged woman was rude to me the first couple times i havent had any problems here.

We have been here several times and love the variety of store, however within the last few months, there is a girl there with long dark hair and glasses that is so extremely rude it is unbelievable. She never acknowledges you, never offers assistance, and when you ask for help, it seems that we are a nuisance. Today was the last time I will be back there. After all of the above of her not doing, when I was literally asking her to help me find a certain item, she continued to be rude and when I called her out on it, she rolled her eyes, gave me attitude back. This chick doesnt like her job so she should find a different one that does not involve customer service whatsoever.

Just left this business. Not impressed with the girl behind the counter.(I think shes the owners girlfriend or something ?) They use to give you $5.00 dollars off after a number of purchases but as the girl behind the counter exclaimed to me in a rather condesending voice, We dont do that anymore. When I asked her if she had any 3mg and 0mg of the same flavor she stood there with a blank look on her face and than looked at the owner and said, Im wearing the coat you bought me. I remember she use to be really nice. Treated me like I was bothering her something. Really ugly customer service. Not doing business there anymore.

A Fantastic place to go for anything that has to do with smoking. And I like using the ash trays as costars keeps things dry the condensation in the tray and keeps wood areas safe and dry. We will definitely by back were there a couple of days anyway.

Sam is the best store owner around. He is the nicest and most accommodating person around. If you have the chance stop in and check out this place, he has put so much work and time into making his smoke shop one of the nicest around.

I LOVE American Smoke Shop!I was recommended to go to American by a friend who used to work at a hookah lounge that I frequented. She recommended this store to me because of the large selection of Hookahs, Sheesha, etc.Sam and his whole staff are amazing! I purchased a Pharaoh hookah from Sam about two years ago now, and have had no issues with it! I used some of the fun fuzzy looking hookah hoses for the longest time ever, but I had a lot of issues when it came down to trying to clean them. They arent that easy to clean if you are an avid smoker and like to change your flavors up a lot. His staff was so friendly, and knowledgable in suggesting a different type of hookah hose to me that would last and would be easier for me to clean. I love the hose that I purchased from them, its lasted me at least six months now. The D-Hose is super great for all of us avid smokers.On top of the wide variety of products that American offers for Hookahs, they also provide a lot of tobacco, glass pipes, vapes, and now cannabis friendly stuff.I regard Sam and his staff highly, they have always given me great suggestions and have gone above and beyond to help me find what I am looking for!

Hidden gem tucked away in this plaza. Its a super clean shop with all your smoking related needs including vape gear. I usually just get lost looking around at all the stuff. The staff is all super friendly and very helpful i would definitely recommend this smoke shop.

I bought a yocan evolve plus for 25 bucks here... Thats cheaper than online. Other smoke shops will charge at least 30, up to 40 bucks for the same pen. Ladies there were nice too.

A guy named Ray owns this place and he is a really cool guy, his staff is very knowledgeable on everything he sells from water pipes to vape, hookas to all the accessories as well as custom made vape oils. If Rays not there ask for Zack he really knows his stuff

American Smoke Shop has a wide variety of items. The Vape Craft ejuice and O2pur is absolutely amazing and some of the best juice that is sold there. The best flavors there are True Gold, Island Breeze, Real Money and Berry Cheesecake just to name a few. Simply refreshing and high quality ejuice! 5 stars all the way! They are not consistent with their open hours. Says they are open until 10pm, and when I just showed up a couple minutes beforehand, all the lights were off and the gate closed…. Lazy workers.
