Drink Nightclub

Visited this past weekend around 11pm on Saturday night, $10 cover per person which isn’t bad at all. Plenty of parking in the surrounding lot. My best friend and I came alone and it was the first time I had been to Drink since 2016 or so. I was actually pleasantly surprised - we had a really nice time.The gentleman bartender was friendly, and immediately greeted and served when we walked to the bar. We felt safe inside the bar and while walking in the parking lot. We felt like the bouncers were actually paying attention to what was going on which is super important.The outdoor patio area was nice and lots of lighting, it gets pretty hot inside so we were going in and out to cool off. I don’t know what the setup outside is in the summer, but I hope they set some more of the tables around.It was decently busy, not overly crowded or anything. Our only complaint was the main DJ wasn’t that good. It definitely appeals to a certain type of person, but the songs he was playing were like euro club vibes and it was hard to dance to that type of music. We felt like if they can get the main DJ to play some more relevant/newer music (Latin, rap, r&b, house music mixes) - I think this place would have great potential and would bring in a lot more people. We liked the smaller DJ area off to the side a lot better but sometimes his song mixes were slow/awkward to dance to - if both DJs made improvements to their mixes it would make a big difference!The front bouncer was nice and wished us a good night on our way out. Overall, we had a great time and will definitely be back :)

What a terrible experience. They charged us $80 for about 30 minutes. The music was lame and the security guards were very rude. It was 1:30 am and they kicked everyone out even though they advertise closing time to be at 2:00 am. They allow people to purchase drinks up to 1:30 and then kick everyone out at 1:32. No wonder they don’t accept amex. I wouldn’t definitely not go here again. What a bad experience! Please don’t waste your money on this club.

Literally not the place to go. We went once before and had no issues except it being a little boring and overpriced. We went again and the bouncer stopped us, touched my boyfriend’s shorts and told us they weren’t good enough for the dress code and we weren’t allowed in(they were black cotton shorts). There is never a mention of a dress code on their website, you’d only know if you read reviews. I would get it if they were basketball shorts, but they were nice shorts. Do not come here unless you want some overpriced drinks and for the staff to touch you without consent.

It seems like the dress code advertised here is non-existent. Tonight, I noticed people dressed casually, some even appearing as if they just rolled out of bed. The DJ could definitely improve the music selection, and the ambiance could use some brightening up; it felt rather dark and gloomy, somewhat depressing. Additionally, I wish some of the bartenders would be more transparent about the pricing, being greedy should be a crime. Was invited to meet a friend and was immediately turned away at the door because I was wearing slides. No dress code posted anywhere. No dress code on their website. The guy at the front door said it was corporate’s policy to not have their dress code posted. Really? Sounds kind of strange to me. Wouldn’t you want people coming to your establishment in the proper attire so they can spend money there? I will never ever give this place, or any other location, my business and will deter others from going.

Someone posted the DJ sucked- but he could always get better so this is meant to be helpful:* The transitions between songs is almost impossible to dance through. No matter what the tempo might be reading its abrupt and awkward to actually dance through and adjust to next song. That was the biggest thing that ruined it for me.* Maybe switching songs really fast is a popular thing? But listening to like 7 seconds of a song- especially when 1 came on I liked - I couldnt get into anything or stay immersed* Selection of music: diversity is great but it was mostly latina music (but NOT mostly a latina crowd so not sure if it usually is or if it was DJ personal taste) w just a few rap, bar songs or classics thrown in. There werent really highs n lows in the mix it just kinda droned on for us 🤷Other club stuff:drinks were just okDidnt try foodOutdoor area was very coolStaff was all niceCrowd was friendly and coolFor a nearby pretty cheap place to go well definitely try again. I have an ID, I have money, I have everything, I just asked the people at the entrance to show me what was going on, there werent many people there, I would have gone back with my friends, but they were so rude and stupid, after I asked a black girl and a guy for Conors name is give me a glass of water they said me no. because Im a little uncomfortable, but I wasnt drunk, he told me to pay $10 for admission and get water, so stupid.

Place has good bones to be something with the beach bar vibes, however not sure what demographic theyre trying to bring in with the gambling. Drinks are on the weak side but not terrible. Bus boy was on point with cleaning up drinks off the table 10 stars on that I got incredibly annoyed with the 1:30 am hard cut off out of nowhere. It was clean at least but needs updating, specially in the bathrooms. For an overall club like 1 to 2 stars. If you never really been to the clubbing scene you could have about a 3.5 star experience especially since its schaumburg. It could definitely pull in 2x the revenue if it knew what it was doing though.

Went here for my birthday last night and as this was my first time going to a club, it did not disappoint! Read in the reviews that there was a dress code rule so we made sure we dressed nicer than usual. We had no issues with any of security and the bartender was super friendly! Cover charge was $10 per person when we got there at 9:30pm which wasn’t bad, drinks weren’t too expensive and the food was amazing. Overall a great experience and will be coming back.

I love this place! :D Security has always been so helpful and kind to me. The bartenders have a wonderful sense of urgency while being polite. They offer multiple varieties of music here! One room has Latin influenced music, and the other with some top hits, with fresh remixes.

The bartender was a really cool guy and was very attentive! The place was awesome inside too. The food was great and prices for drinks and food was reasonable based on other bars we’ve been to. This was the first night club that we have ever been to, and we have no complaints! They played great music throughout the night as well!

Extremely rude hosts and bouncers at the entrance. We did have a minor issue with ID which could have been resolved within 10 minutes and we clearly stated that but everyone was kicked out outside without proper clothes into cold December night weather to wait outside until we fix the ID issue. We did not return, will not return and do not recommend this atmosphere to anyone else in the area.

My problem with this place was the lack of information regarding dress code, my long-time friend was prevented from entering yesterdays date because he was wearing a black joggers pants. When I asked why he couldnt enter, I received poor service from the guy who checks identities, so I asked to speak to the manager, the manager told me that there was no information on the website. When I asked how we would know about this, he said he was telling me at that moment. I was very unhappy because entry to this is not free. The worst experience. I hope you guys learn how to treat a customer.

We did Bae’s Birthday in Chicago. We stayed in the Schaumburg area. Drink Nightclub is fun. The drinks are NICE 👍🏽! The music was great. Issa vibe, trust me. We had a good time.

We had our Christmas Party here last week and everyone from the front door to our VIP host and servers were amazing. They paid attention and made sure everyone had a good and fun night. They assisted in some special set up and configuration we had.

The staff is extremely rude with zero customer service. They didnt let us wait for Uber inside the hall when they refused to enter one of our girls (12/29/2023) because of a recently expired ID. Weve just come from Houston and it was freezing cold outside (28F), nobody had jackets because there is no place to leave them inside the bar. What is the problem with letting people wait 3-5 minutes for their Uber to bring the passport?Would you let your wife/daughter to stay at a such cold outside? I think you definitely not. If its the problem for you then make a small waiting room or the wardrobe.Id avoid this place to not ruin your evening.

I was impressed with what DRINK had to offer. I came here for the first time for my bachelorette party this past weekend. I had an AMAZING time dancing the night away! We got bottle service, and something unusual (for me at least) is they serve you the alcohol, so they do not leave the bottle on the table. I believe this is because they are not in the city they have different regulations they need to follow. They had a heavy pour so the drinks were on point! The dance floor did get packed closer to after midnight, so if you are cautious about COVID this is not your place. I would recommend DRINK to anyone to go dancing in the suburbs.

My friend’s very expensive jacket got stolen. Security and managment were not willing to help, even though they could have easily checked the cameras and found the thieft.

My favorite place to be in the suburbs!! The music, vibe, and staff are great. Definitely worth checking out!

The ratings and comments on here are 100% inaccurate. This place is totally underrated. It’s the best club in the suburbs with great DJs and bartenders and has such a beautiful ambiance. and yes there are rules, no ripped jeans of corse, just follow the rules, it’s a really nice place. There are 3 bars and 3 dance floors. One of my favorite things is that in the summer it’s beautiful outside tiki style with a DJ and dance floor, you can also play bags/ corn hole bags with your friends. So nice, check it out, definitely worth the drive.

My friend and I stopped here on our way traveling across the United States. We had a fantastic time. The bouncer and the managers were so welcoming and so sweet. The music was absolutely fantastic and dancing was so much fun! If I lived in the area or even within an hour I would go all the time. I highly recommend to anyone and will be returning next time I’m in Illinois

The bouncer should be the face of the place because he is greeting people in and should have a welcoming demeanor, HOWEVER.... That is not the case. He takes his job as a way to condescend others for the most minimal things. There is a proper and less demeaning manner to address the club policies. My group of friends and I came in and he instantly scolded one for his hat and the other for his shorts, then proceeded to me saying my ID was invalid (which was hole punched but not expired until 2023). Now I know there are rules and regulations for nightclub purposes, but he should be more gentle, kind, and human to the people allowing this club to stay functioning. I am extremely disappointed as he continued to taunt me as I questioned the reasoning for his attitude. He called his manager over and the manager was less demeaning than him and also tried to ease the situation but I would like to challenge the manger to do proper customer service training with his employees, as this is 2022 and people should not be treated as this bouncer treated the night clubs customers. Please know I am not upset at the bouncer for reinforcing the policies, I am upset at the condescending, demeaning, taunting, and inhumanity form that the bouncer spoke to Drink Nightclub customers. Please address the way you all will implement quality customer service. Thank you

Do not bother. This place was average fora long time and it has fallen far from even that mediocre perch. Security is rude, the music is mediocre, and drink prices are through the roof. Expect to pay $10 for a very tiny shot or very weak plastic cop mixed drinks.

We have been celebrating a birthday at home but we wanted to go dance to a club. We decide that Drink would have been a great place. On the website it says that it’s open until 2:00am. At 1:30, the staff began to brutally push out the people’s outside. They talked about “laws” but when I asked something specific they just acted violent. We were witnesses of violent expression of guards towards a client that has been pushed out(not out of the club but from the outside of the club) to the walkway/curb side like he was a criminal. His only concern was that they didn’t let him get his jacket. We have a video of the situation. It is a terrible relation to clients, people, and a difficult situation that is going on in the world. None of the staff was willing to answer any questions supporting the laws. After 1:00am they began to act VIOLENT!!!!! It is just insane. It is the first time that I have witnessed such a thing!!!!!

Can definitely be fun. We’ve gone there a few times and it’s always upbeat. Even though everything says they close at 2a, they do force you out at 1:30a, without warning and security enjoys the power they have doing that. Not a bad place to go out in the suburbs, just keep the closing time in mind.

Worst experience ever. I would give this place 0 stars if I could. My friends and I were rudely greeted by a unprofessional security doorman. Apparently girls are allowed to wear ripped jeans but guys are not. After 2 min of sitting in our car, a gentleman approached the entrance with ripped jeans. I had my daughters Bat Mitzvah at drink. It was AMAZING!! The fantastic staff was so attentive and they were on top of everything!! Extra people came...table up in a flash! Food was delicious and servings were large! Lights and music were so entertaining and the robot came out and took it to a new level!! EPIC PARTY OF THE YEAR!!!

I texted the club and asked if they charged cover and they said they did not before 9. I drove from the city and I got here and the girl in the front said 10 dollars each. It was 8:50 and barely 20 people in here. I told her I texted the club and they said no cover and she said well I’m here now. I charge 10. So I paid cover. On top of that, the bouncer in the very front was rude to the couple in front of us and had an aggressive demeanor to him. Not friendly staff at all. I sat at the bar to wait for class to begin and the bartender kept asking if we wanted something, as if I hadn’t asked him for a minute already. It is such a hostile and unfriendly environment. Definitely my last time here.

Drink was cool, at first. In town from Seattle, with my family & friends and ended up getting a table and bottle service. Went through most of the night having a good time until I took my girlfriend to the bathroom. On my way back to the table, the doorman/security had a power trip, his name was Angel. Told me I needed to change my shirt or leave, even though I had already been at our table for a couple hours. He proceeded to follow me back to our table and essentially FORCED me to put on my jacket or leave. Not a good experience during my stay here.

Came in here, place is trash, we just walked in at midnight, and we’re sober, so I ordered 2 tequila sunrises and the bartenders just poured us water instead of tequila, then said that it was tequila and showed us a bottle. Then I continued telling them that it was water, she said I’ll pour you 2 shots, and it was plain water, no tequila at all, they tried to rip us off. horrible place and experience.

We went for Halloween night and got there later because of lyft issues and getting cancelled on. Once we arrive the line is super long but we don’t worry because it says open till 2am and we got there around 11:35. We wait for a good 20 and are told in line there is now a $40 cover instead of $30 and we need bottle service only because the inside bar is closed. I was annoyed but we were already waited and again, it closes at 2am. We finally get to the front after 25 more minutes to hear one of the security say we aren’t letting anyone else in to the other one. While we waited another 15 min the other guard FINALLY tells us we aren’t letting anyone in. Why would you make people wait another 15 minutes!!! Ridiculous. Also the rides for Lyft a and Ubers were twice what they would be without Halloween and if we knew we could’ve ordered one right away. So inconsiderate and ridiculous if you ask me. I will never go here and don’t recommend it at all.

Wanted to have my fiances 30th there, went to visit the club last Saturday to see what it looks like, spoke to a manager that we would have 15-20 people come and he quoted us CLEARLY for a 2 bottle minimum per table.Texted them the following day asking if we can make a deal for 1 bottle minimum for that amount of people (but most likely closer to 15 people) because our guests are big spenders and would rather just buy drinks and shots the entire night. The response I received surprised me when they texted me back saying its a 3 bottle minimum for 15 people and 4 bottle minimum if 20 people were to show up!?! When the manager quoted us clearly 2 bottle minimum at $300 a bottle, of course he claims otherwise and says we misunderstood 😂 to be more specific we were on the patio portion of the club where no music was playing so our conversation was very clear and everything was easily heard. needless to say this club is nothing but a scam, other than looking somewhat decent. The current 2.2 star review is VERY ACCURATE!!!

First time going there was on friday great night drinks are pretty reasonable the dress code could be a little better the no distressed jeans rule or no hats is kinda ridiculous other then that they play pretty good music. Saturday night was a great night to security is cool definitely a spot to bring some friends to. I highly recommend this nightclub!

Id recommend all people looking for a good place for nightlife avoid this club. Very inconsiderate bouncer, one of our group approached the bar with a baseball cap on (which is apparently not allowed in the dress code?) and the roided out bouncer began to insult our entire party before we were even able to enter. Even when the member agreed to tuck the hat away the bouncer continued to badger the group. I would rate this establishment 0/10 if possible.

I work in the business of security officers as well as police why do the establishment want these type of hostile rude security? The experience isnt the food drinks or music its the security and thats bad for business. Stay away from this trash bar, rude and unprofessional doorman refused entry due to having rips in my jeans but allowed my female friends in with rips in their jeans. They clearly are sexist and will let any woman in but deny any male if they do not fit their dress code, been here a couple times and is not worth the trip, average bar with rude staff, save your money and go somewhere else!!

I came tonight on Thursday night for reggaeton Latin music and the V5 Dj should of known all the music that is trending to put on it was slow up until like midnight they were playing good reggaeton and bachata musicAs far as bartenders they were efficient and professionalThere is security and police outside the club which makes you feel more safeThere is a lounge area which is cozy and comfortable

Power went out on a Saturday night and we were kicked out early, we asked but no refund no nothing just get out. Upstairs was closed due to no bartender?

I’ve never had issues with Drink. I suggest getting there early if you don’t want to pay a fee or wait in a long line. But, service is always excellent and they remember you if you’ve been there before. The music is great and the drinks are at reasonable prices. Love this club and will be my go-to place for a while.

I been to drink many times they sensitive about everthing a especially security.At drink nightclub bartender didnt wanna take serve me and my friend because we didnt tip once its my choice if I tip bartender or not. Bartender decide their prices so dont be surprised paying for same drink more money they really finesse drunk people so watch out. In general I had worst night there got kick out and genuinely Coach House has better service and was than the Drink. So whenever you decide ether going to Drink or Coach house I would just choose coach house.

Saturday evening, September 17th our Maine East High School Class of 1971 threw its 50th (+1 – due to COVID) Reunion at DRINK! Nightclub. Slightly more than 125 classmates descended upon DRINK! to see old friends, catch up on happenings and trade stories about what they’ve been doing since high school. I headed the site selection for the Reunion Committee, which chose DRINK! because of its spacious, open facility, great layout for socializing, huge bar, and additional outdoor area. WOW! DRINK! did not disappoint. Setup was a breeze, the A/V throughout the event went without a hitch. The buffet, mashed potato and carving stations were excellent, a hit – and were up for a full 2 hours. Plenty of bartenders; no waiting. The party atmosphere and friendly layout contributed to a hugely successful event. Glad we chose DRINK! Nightclub for our very special reunion.

After paying a $20, they were closing at 1am. After they make their money they can care less. It was not super crowded, there was no fights no reason to close an hour early. They should be sued for false advertisement of hours

Blond bar woman is rude and shout at clients like crazy without any reasons! Staff is rude and not competent. Don’t visit this place if you don’t want to ruin your mood.

Extremely poor management. They charge $720 for reserving a table with two bottles of wine. Therefore all the cabanas and tables/couches are empty. I recently wanted to celebrate my birthday at this place, so I went there early to get a table. I ordered drinks and food from the poor menu that they had (only 3 options and food was not good) from the bar outside. I was told that I can order a pizza from Morettis pizza. I was told the Moretti closes at 10pm. When I called them before 9pm they already closed the kitchen. Then I was advised by the bartender at Drink to order pizza from a different place, so I did. When the pizza came (order about $100), the Drink staff did not let me bring the pizza in. We asked to speak with the manager. This guy has a big ego, he did not even want to hear the situation and he banned my entire birthday group from the place. Apparently they only work with Morettis pizza. They allow you to bring cake from outside but pizza from a different place than Moretti (when Moretti is closed before the advertised time and nothing on the bar menu) is not OK... The manager was rude, totally illogical and has no clue about customer service. Instead of dealing with the people who advised me wrong he chose to ban us from the club. I would not set my foot in that place anyhow. He ruined my birthday celebration for that part of the night. If I can give this place minus 5 stars, I would...Owner be aware...you need to change your staff starting at the top!

I went there with my wife yesterday, I’m 34 and they didn’t let me in because my DL was expired (we all know new Covid world and renewing process these days), we laughed and walked away without a word. Wanted to check this place out after a few years, SPEND SOME MONEY on drinks but realized that nothing changed, they still acting like border patrol police lol empty club, that’s probably the reason why there’s no people inside. We ended up in another club 10 minutes away, no issues with expired DLDon’t waste your time visiting unless you need some airport TSA screening process/experience

Very busy fun place to dance. Has an amazing large patio. 2 separate dance floors with different music. You will not meet new people here though, not that kind if vibe, a great place to dance with friends.

I been coming for years and still is the best club in the burbs. Great ambiance, staff, music, parking. I will always drive the extra mile because the staff here is great, especially the bartenders who been here for years. Drinks arent over priced like in the city.

I wouldn’t recommend ,Plus I was the last weekends in their website says they’ll closed 3:00 am , so I went there 1:00 am and they charged me 40$ for me and my girlfriend and they ended up closing 1:50am they started Letting everybody out . So I spent 40$ to in for 30min. , if I would know they’ll close in 40min I wouldn’t spent 40$ For that . But it’s good to know 👌

We were denied because of a previous emplyeee that was in our group. She refused to service people indoors during Covid (which was illegal at the time) and they refused our service. Which is bizarre. Never in my life have I ever been to a place where I was a paying customer and refused service based upon biased opinion. DONT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS!!!

I lost an extremely sentimental item after spending a large amount of money here this weekend. i called three times and left three voicemails and never got a call back. poor service, unhelpful staff, lack of care for customers. i would not recommend this place at all. if i could, i would give them 0/5 stars

First time around i had to pay $20 just to get in, i wasnt allowed to wear a hat, the bouncer was rude to everyone, second time coming i wasnt even allowed to enter because my pants werent up to dress code whats the point of driving to a night club, wasting gas just to be denied? The security guard at Drink is extremely rude, called us “salty” because he wouldn’t let us in and we needed to look for a ride, because we traveled 2 hours to visit our friend. Mind you it is 10 degrees outside and he is trying to make us wait out there. No thank you to Drinks or just get a new bouncer.

Very few and poor food options. You’re supposedly able to order pizza at a nearby place, but they close at 8:30pm (?!). When we ordered pizza somewhere else with the bartender’s approval, we got kicked out of the place! Stay away!!

We used to come here every weekend and will never be returning again because of how uneducated and unprofessional their waitresses are. My husband and I had such a terrible experience last night, which I will spare the details, but would suggest this business reviews the type of girls they choose to employee for the sake of your customers experience.

At the entrance they ask for masks and say this is necessary because COVID, but the bartender takes the money with his hands and puts the dimon in your glass with the same hands. I reprimanded him, but they just laughed at me and said that everyone does this. I will never go back there.

How could it be possible for a man who checks documents at the door to have an employee who verbally abuses a person who doesnt really have a relationship? My friends and I were chased out of the house by someone who said bad things to him! A very rude person will never come again !!! 😡

On my birthday, after some of my guests left and I wanted to come back to my table i wasnt allowed to enter the club and they brought my cc at the entrance to sign it.

Extremely rude hosts, doormen very rude. I had a worst experience.

First time in this place, bad experience, I dropped money behind the counter and the bar worker guys picked it up and put it in his pocke, left the bar and come back to check if there’s more money behind the counter, and when I told him that the money he found was mine, he denied it and I Spock to the manager Michael ( he was a no guy and professional) he couldn’t override the decision of the security guys and bar worker, I still get kicked out… unfair

How is it possible that they do not let you enter the club for entering with an authentic ID? Sure, being an official document but not from this country, that kind of people make this country look like a third world. Poor silly security service of this place 👎

If I could give zero stars I would. Had a group of about 15 people and the GUYS with ripped jeans couldn’t get in but the girls could?? This is Schaumburg not downtown. Don’t bother even coming here 👎🏼

TURNED AWAY for a COVID expired Drivers license. A FEDERAL agency of travel/ID verification can approve me to fly so Im not sure why Drink refused to verify age with it.

2 dance floors! The top level is more of a relaxed lounge scene, and the patio is great when theyre open.

One of the bartenders caused an altercation between my friend and I just cause we didn’t tip her enough and then her manager came over to try and make us feel bad..this place a joke and security continued to hover over us until we drank our last drink so they can kick us out for not tipping, while we paid a $20 cover fee to get in.. horrible service

The bouncer left my friend outside freezing.He thought she was drunk when she wasnt. We were very polite to him.
