Love Massage Envy on Shea in Scottsdale! If you are looking for a firm massage I highly recommend Dan!! He provides excellent techniques and helps my body to heal after some intense workouts I do. So glad I found him.

I am a single mom who works a physical job as a painter, and I absolutely NEVER take a moment for myself.. well, today I did that, and Massage Envy - Shea DID NOT disappoint!! Ian, the assistant GM, is running a good ship over there.I walked in and was greeted with a friendly, welcoming smile from Megan. What a doll!!! She was kind, friendly, efficient, just on the ball!! She was helping a client when I walked in but still acknowledged me. Hi! welcome, give me one moment. She had to ask Ian a question, who was helpful to her and allowed her to learn. When she came back she said sorry its only my 4th day to my surprise she was killing it. She was made for customer service, and for someone who is extremely uncomfortable doing things for herself, Megan helped ease that.Andy, my massage therapist! What a gem of a man. I normally wouldnt ever schedule with a man, but my body is in such bad shape. I wanted some deep big hands, and he delivered. A couple of things in the room - I got low bed warmer, but I should have gone with medium. There were times I was a little chilly but by no fault to Andy. I think the music would be better on a loop so that there is no silenced before the next song plays. Andy really listened to me about my needs and problem areas and then really went in on them. I will say that when he was massaging my little booty and hips, he left the blanket on which I would have preferred he not. I do understand in todays world why he went that route. I would go back to Andy again. One thing is Im quite very quiet. I prefer to say absolutely nothing until the massage is over, Andy Likes to talk, which is NOT bad. He is friendly and carried conversation well. I am thankful for Andy and his honesty. I felt safe in the room with him, and he was professional!Now, the star of this location and the reason Megan and the rest of the team were so kind and professional Ian!!! Ian, man. At check out, he offers me an upgrade to the membership, which in the long run saved me money and will allow me self care monthly at a cheaper rate. I didnt feel sold - see as I said Ian OFFERED there was no pushy sales or you need this - I didnt give much push back because of that, where on the norm I would absolutely never sign up for something that I literally never take time for. Ian made me feel I deserved this for myself, but not in a sales way. he was genuine!I cant wait to go back and use my FREE 60 min massage, facial, or stretch! I didnt know they offered that now, and Im excited to try it out. I also was gifted 2 free enhanced therapy cards and also a rewards card after 5 massages. You get a FREE one again!!! The membership is $75 a month that is one 60 min massage - and if you dont use it YES it rolls over!!!Well with that said. I am a very happy client. Thank you Ian, Megan and the main event Andy for allowing me this amazing experience!!

Love this location! Helen is my preferred massage therapist, she pays so much attention to all of my needs and is so professional. Ian at the front desk is helpful with booking my appointments. The availability is very good at this store compared to others Ive seen and their customer service is excellent.

Ive been coming to this location for some time now and have found an amazing therapist by the name of Helen that I now frequent. One of the best massages I have received. She pays very close attention to detail and always knows just what my body needs. Thank you Helen for your fantastic service. Rest of the staff is amazing as well from check in to check out

Amy is a fantastic therapist and I highly recommend her. She is new to this location but I was a client of hers many many times when she was at the S. Tempe Massage Envy. She is very professional and listens very carefully to the clients needs. She is very experienced and has excellent massage technique. I was very pleased with my sessions with her.

Had an AMAZING Massage Therapist today for my mini out of town get away and met some really kind people! The entire staff was great including the store manager! Thanks to all that made this a wonderful experience 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Massages are very personal, and you should try different therapists until you find one whose style is perfect for you. For me, thats Michelle.But you wont find a better value for a massage than at Massage Envy.Therapists only get a (small) portion of the amount you pay - so I highly recommend that you tip generously to thank (and compensate) your therapist.

Massage Envys check in process is always smooth and easy, even during the challenges of this past year. The facility is impeccably clean and smells great! The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. My massage therapist, Mary is amazing. Shes skilled at working on my problem areas while providing an overall relaxing experience. Ive been a patron of this ME for years and have no plans of ending my membership any time soon!!! Keep up the fantastic work!!

Heather does my facials and Shelene does my massages. Both ladies are competent, friendly, and make you feel so pampered. They always check in to see what you need and provide it consistently. We have become friends over the year’s because they are so awesome to talk to!

I had my first facial at Massage Envy in a long while and Heather was AMAZING!!! Kind, gentle, thorough and an absolute pleasure. The products she used were awesome and she had a ton of knowledge. Highly recommend her!

My therapist is beyond brilliant but they have completely changed the appointment scheduling. If you go to someone very popular and want a standing appointment at the same time you can only book a few appointments ahead.. so you now have to schedule a phone call on your calendar to call to get an appointment a few months ahead.

As this was only my second massage in my life, I was a bit hesitant, but Heather was a true professional and set me right at ease. Her constant communication allowed me to be very comfortable with the pressure and areas of stress. The entire experience was so relaxing and I would recommend this location and specifically Heather to everyone.

Great place for some R&R. The interior is what I would describe as comfortably modern, very peaceful without being too luxurious. Mary was a great massage therapist and made some small talk during the session. Overall I would say that Massage Envy sets the standard for chain-based massage servicers and seems to have policies in place to deliver a consistently good experience.

Highly recommend avoiding massage therapist BRITTANY at all costs. From the start of my appointment, she belittled me and showed nothing but disrespect. She failed to focus on areas that I asked her to focus on 3+ times and failed to adjust the pressure of the massage when asked multiple times. What was supposed to be a relaxing afternoon turned into an infuriating waste of money. If you decide to get a massage here, choose wisely.

Heather is great at what she does. She always makes sure you are comfortable and explains the various steps in the facial as she is applying them. Heather genuinely cares for her clients. Can’t wait to go back for my next facial.

Clean, easy to schedule and great service by masseuse. Dislike 10 minute Consultation that cuts your 60 minute appt to 50. If you get massages regularly, its worth joining for a consistent experience!

Heather’s facials are fantastic! She is very knowledgeable and kind, and she really listens to what you want and makes great recommendations when you ask for them. I look and feel amazing after her facials!

My brother and I came by to visit This specific location. He enjoyed his massage I think her name was ginger. He had a lot of great things to say About her massage technique and how he’s was very relax afterwards.The facility was very nice and friendly. The receptionist was awesome very professional. However, my massage felt like torture. I feel like he was more poking me with his fingers then giving me an actual massage. The more I tensed up and display que of pain by saying “ouch” he poked me even harder with fingers. It eventually got better towards the last 15 minutes he seem to Realize that he should Try a different technique because I was not enjoying it. I’m not one to complain, But that was the worst massage I ever had in my life. Other than that I heard Ginger was great!

I’ve been going to Robb for years! One of the best therapists I have been to. He is very knowledgeable regarding muscle anatomy and always seems to know what spots need attention.

Microdermabrasion appointment with Heather was great. Good product, Heather was gentle and knowledgeable. My skin looks and feels great. Only negative is that I paid for a 60 minute session at a membership price of $110 +tip but was in and out in 35 minutes. Felt like get a little more facial at my medspa for $100. Heather is awesome though! Staff is professional and take precautions for covid. Happy customer

Shelene gave me an amazing massage! You could tell she knew exactly what she was doing! The way she transfers her energy, you can literally feel it through her soft hands. I’m a big talker, and had an amazing convo with her as well. She has a huge heart and I can’t wait to come see her again!

I have been a member of the flagship Massage Envy salon in Scottsdale since 2004! They were ahead of the club style curve which has worked so well especially for traveling as much as I do. This membership enables me to visit stores in other cities.Price point is fair, threapist are well trained and diverse win different styles, aestheticians are current with product and treatments. In such a competitive world of self care, Massage Envy has been able to keep up. I hope to enjoy the services for many years ahead. 👍

Massage therapist Sinisa is extremely professional he will work on areas that I ask him to focus on and this provides me with excellent results. The staff is also great and I feel very comfortable with all the covid-19 protocols they have in place for ones safety. I recommend !!!

Michelle was absolutely amazing. Her technique is reminiscent of a lomilomi massage but also restorative and focusing on reflexology. One of the best massages Ive had in a long time.

Visiting from Boston area for the weekend and wanted to find a studio with couples massages. Was within walking distance of our hotel so that was our deciding factor in choosing this location. Booked in with Stephen & Michelle, was meet & greeted by Judy at the front desk who was very friendly & did a great job getting us settled in. The trouble came during the massage, we started nearly 15 minutes late (although this wasnt really a huge issue as they pushed the time back); second issue was while we went over the intake the door was left wide open letting our voices carry down the hallway. My therapist was Stephen who did quite good work for me and checked in several times, the other therapist working on my girlfriend was a different story:her therapists pressure was nearly nonexistant (being rated medium/firm by the staff we expected a bit more), and on top of this she only checked in once to which the reply was to increase the pressure. This did not happen, and during the massage she went over her scalp a total of four times, the last three with cream still on her hands; she also did not address the areas requested nearly enough and spent much more time on areas not requested performing easy repetitive strokes such as effleurage and rocking for extended periods of time (personally it felt like the therapist was just killing time). Overall I came out feeling pretty solid but cant say the same for the other half. During our checkout we voiced our opinions and were offered a complimentary upgrade (choice of aromatherapy, bio freeze, or foot scrub) if we came in for another session. Needless to say we will not be back considering we arent from the area so technically we were offered meaningless compensation. Working i. this field we get that this business is tip based so we left Michelle $10 but I honestly shouldve gone with my gut instinct and taken that money to buy my girlfriend a drink cause she needed it.P.S. We understand the need for communication between therapist & client, but theres only so many times you can interrupt somebody before it becomes disruptive to the atmosphere (especially in this case she was concerned for my massage, being that we were in the same room). In the end the fault did not soley rest with the therapist but the fact remains that a poor experience was had.

Monica is wonderful. Always attends to my specific aches and pains. She has mastered many techniques that have helped me tremendously.Wish I could pack her up and take her to Minnesota with me in the summer!

The ME on Shea is my favorite!! Even tho I moved and have several locations closer, I still drive out to this one (when they have availability), because the service is top notch!! You guys are amazing♡

Certain rooms share a wall with a car rental business. You can understand every word through the wall. Sound proofing in order here. However, the massage was great.

Dont work here unless you have tough skin and can deal with treating ppl like crud. They give you this whole speak on not being warm anf inviting but the person training had no soul and cares not one bit about customers or customer service.I refuse to work for min wage and pushed to make sales but watch management dismiss customer complaints that can be solved in 5 mins or 15 tops. Yet they throw this responsibility on the new girl who is trying to get her life together along with deal with all the training they want you to do. Your check messed up every pay period. And people who tell you do one thing and do another.What did I learn about working at ME for 3 months? They want your money they care nothing about you. Period. And its not even just this location. All franchises are bad and dumb period straight scam.And dont even try to transfer your sessions at cancel or freeze it will give you a headache. As someone who worked here it made me sad and mentally incapable to deal with because of the stress and anguish this establish causes their clients. Whom they love taking their money. But care nothing about themAlso tired of hearing the big people talking about making moneyaking money, Pros and other businesses yet we still make min wage and have to compete for sales instead og working together to see the business grow.Im tired of these companies treating their employees like shit and expect to stay afloat.Your training sucks. Your pay sucks. Your structure sucks. Yout business model is failing. Youre greedy and you dont care about your community note your employees. I have met these owners how many times and I bet they couldnt even tell me my name to my face.Yes the purpose og business is to grow. But at what expense when you have fed off your last customer? Shut down shop and invest in Pros? Lol 🤣 I may look dumb and I may be down on my luck but just know I took everything you suck at and will definitely be the reason why I help the next big thing become successful and smother out all these greedy businesses. You can get rich by being a decent person and organizion.High Turn over rate is the start of failing business. Good luck to you all. I had issues I tried to talk to the GM about on two occasions about my performance and the lack of from management and she literally told me she didnt have time for me. Well ok. But how can anyone come in and help when you treat your bottom line like a number and not an asset?Get a reality check owners. Owner is just a title doesnt make a genius, a good person, a good business person. Does not make you successful. It just makes you a fat cat and money blinded.How do I know the owners yet they never once stopped to shake my hand and say thank you for choosing to work with us. Without front desk or therapists you have nothing. And your guests are getting hip to your lack of care. No one should be calling crying because they are being charged for over a span of months trying to cancel their membership. How evil do you have to be to say oh well we cant do anything about losing your paperwork.Dont support franchises. Support a local massage therapist directly.

Shelene gives the greatest relaxation and/or therapeutic/sports massages, and shes a bit of a germaphobe, so there is nothing to worry about when youre under her care.

Always organized, professional and clean. I especially recommend scheduling facials with Heather, she is a top notch esthetician!

Eh, this wasnt the best place for a massage, but I guess you do get what you pay for. I walked away feeling ok, but the next day I was pretty sore. I am not sure if she knew what she was doing or if I was confused of what a massage should feel like.

Ive been to other locations, but this one gets all 5 stars. I appreciate the front desk staff for answering all of my questions and my therapist for doing such a wonderful job. Ill be back soon.
