Went on Friday night.Even I donβt go to bathhouses for wet areas , I did not like the fact that they did not have them. In my opinion these kind of facilities calls for clientele. Was surprised when they told they were not part of the steam works family of Chicago.I had a lot of fun ππ, have open spaces not need to pay a room to be the center of the attention and show.Clean spaces, sexy boys, nice and kind staff.
DO NOT COME HERE! MANAGER KNOWINGLY LETS CUSTOMERS DEAL WITH PROBLEMS OR HAVE TO PAY MORE MONEY DUE TO THEIR OWN NEGLIGENCE AND LAZINESS! TREAT CUSTOMERS WITH ATTITUDE AND DISRESPECT! YOU WILL NOT BE REFUNDED FOR THEIR TERRIBLE TREATMENT OF CUSTOMERSHorrible and rude staff. I asked about my Chicago steamworks card if it would work here because I know they are part of a separate steamworks group. He said that it would work, but I told him I didnt have the card with me because I was under the impression that it wouldnt have worked. He got nasty that I had even asked about it when I didnt have the card with me as if I was just wasting his time. I am a curious person and wanted to know how the anonymous worked and he gave barely answered anything about it, seemed he didnt know how it worked. Then he sarcastically said I to me I dont remember if you wanted a room or a locker because you have asked soooo many questions.... really rude but I just moved on from it.Next I got to my room and then went to get a water and Gatorade at the vending machines. They wouldnt vend after a few tries with card and then one water came out. Then I tried a few more times and the gatorade and it wouldnt dispense. I couldnt understand why it suddenly wouldnt work. I then watched 4 other paying customers not get their drinks and struggle with the machines. I went to the front desk to let them know what was going on. I asked what else I could do to have my card work and they said that the only option is an atm that of course you have to pay a fee for. I told them thats not right to do to your customers. They told me their is nothing they can do because the machines are serviced by an outside company and that they can do nothing about it. That it has really poor signal and it doesnt work very often. So they were very well aware of the problem. I then suggested to the employee that they should put some kind of sign to let people know it doesnt always work well, so.people dont waste their time. To that I received the nastiest look as if I had taken a dump on the floor or something. Was awful... I got to the point where I wanted to leave and decided to talk to the manager. I told him about the front desk situation and he didnt care about his staff being rude. I then talked with him about the machines not working and he said they dont own the machines... okay I get that but these are also your customers! Do right by them and fix the problem. I asked him why would you not put a sign on the machines so your customers know that your machines dont work well and he told me THEY WILL FIGURE IT OUT ON THEIR OWN I saw 4 customers in 5 minutes struggle with the machines. This multiplied out is thousands and thousands of customers going through the same thing and the manager does absolutely nothing. How hard is it to put a sign up so people know? I care because I want the best for people and try to do good by anyone. This manager lacks a basic common decency and does not care for his customers. Please choose a better place to spend your time and do not support these TRASH people.
My first time at a bath house and I gotta Say, this was an amazing and super fun experience. I showed up on boys night so I got in for free! The space was very clean, My locker was plenty Big to keep lol my stuff, and the guys were great! Overall 10/10 experience, might go back again today since I liked it so much
Hmmmm no baths, no steam, no nothing. They told us before we paid, which was a nice touch, but still. Since there is no sauna, no steam room, no pool, no spa, there is nothing to do here when youre not into any of the other patrons. So we left after 15 minutes. Waste of money, waste of time. No passouts given either so we couldnt come back and check again later.
Iβve been coming to steamworks for a while now and have almost always had a good experience. With the exception of one staff member, everyone has always been friendly and really nice and patient. Thereβs an east Asian staff member that seems to always go out of his way to be demeaning and disrespectful. If I see him working I almost donβt want to go in because I know heβs going to be rude and thatβs all my mind can focus on while Iβm there. He purposefully ignores whatever Iβm asking him, has tried charging more than the listed price and the most recent experience on 12/27/23 made me so upset and uncomfortable that I felt I needed to post a review on it so that others can be aware of his uncouth and rude behavior. When I checked in with him this last time, I kept it brief because I know if I speak more he gets angry, so I asked for a locker, paid what was needed to be paid and I guess I made the mistake of asking for a different size towel. He ignored me, so I asked again, and he stared at me and said to proceed inside, so I repeat myself in case he didnβt hear me so he sternly and angrily tells me to proceed inside. I shouldnβt feel like I did something wrong by asking for a different size towel. I go inside as instructed and wait for him to come over thinking he may walk over to help me with the towel situation, but instead ignores me and walks away. I wait again thinking he might have gone to the back to grab a towel but he doesnβt come back out. I can understand being stressed out, tired etc, but being extremely rude and disrespectful to clients shouldnβt be the answer especially when they havenβt done anything wrong. At this point if I see him working the desk I wonβt bother trying to go in because I donβt want to deal with his horrible attitude and I suggest to others to do the same. Everyone else though is lovely, has a smile on their face despite how busy it is, and is super accommodating.
The reception staff was incredibly accommodating and kind. Made my first experience way less daunting.
Worse gay bathhouse ever, staff is extremely rude to guest and atmosphere is toxic and disturbing. No sauna for decades, and very uncomfortable environment. The best place to feel discriminated towards in the community by people who should be supportive of one another. Donβt waste your energy or time on cheap thrills. Drug use and unsanitary. They donβt care about their costumers.
Went with my friend so we could have a good time and play around but instead we had a horrible time as all kinds of different men kept touching without asking, mostly my friend, and they even did some insertion without asking among other things. Totally uncool. I will never be coming back to this place, do better.
I came over so many times every time I visit Seattle, its always crowded on Friday, Saturday and there are so many young guys on Thursday night!
Great place to release some tension. Always clean, always friendly.
Came here on a Saturday night... place was packed full of hot guys. had a great time, it was my birthday and me and a bud decided to check it out. management and staff were super friendly and professional, and the price was right too. if you want to see some of seattles finest guys, cum check it out!
First timer. Great place with great crowd however the check in staff didnβt make any effort to make me feel welcome. This is very important especially visitors from other countries whom may need extra attention and information considering they are new to the bathhouse. I was there June the 17th.
Terrible place. I have never been to one of these bath/sex places. However, I booked an appointment for testing through Gay City. When I arrived for my appointment, a male staff member, with an off-putting demeanor, asked for my name. I told him I was there for testing only. However, he said Gay City didnt provide them with a name. I showed him the confirmation email and he said I would have to pay for services to get tested. It didnt mention --during online sign up -- that I would have to pay for services in order to get tested. I learned that I probably shouldve chosen a better place that isnt riddled with STDs.
Just overall very disappointed with my visit, first time to a bath house and can say wont be coming to this again. Staff was rude and had an underlying tone of just better then me. As for the crowd hot but just felt weird and almost unsafe, I had random guys grabbing me and trying to pull me in rooms or away into some corner. I didnt stay long just felt pressed from all sides.
First time going to a bathe house and I enjoyed it. It was a little slow at first however more men showed up as it got later. Prices are good and reasonable even for a membership. However they donβt have a hot tub or sauna which was disappointing to say the least, but all in all I enjoyed myself a lot.
I love this place, especially stuff that works here, they almost became my friends. Place has pretty fun and drivers crowd, especially during special events. Of course, there are areas for improvement (I wish there would be some amenities like steam room, hot tub, sauna, etc.), but I understand limitations. Mostly for me this place is way to express who I truly am and I am so grateful to stuff which allows that to happen.π
Of the numerous bath houses Ive visited, this is one of the best. Despite the lack of a hot tub, a sauna, or a steam room, this place has everything I want, including the right mix and volume of men. As an older guy with a keen interest in younger men, I find plenty of what Im seeking here.
Front desk person wouldnt even talk to me to give me information, kept rolling eyes and sighing for every question I asked. Would not recommend. Club Z staff was friendly welcoming and outstanding.
Got to say this place is by far the worst out of all the different βSteamworks bathhousesβ. This was our second time visiting Seattle from San Francisco and there was no dry sauna, steam room or jacuzzi AGAIN. Very disappointing. They should remove the words βsteamβ and βbathβ from the name if the facility is not fully operationalβ¦False advertisingβ¦.
I have been here 2 times its pretty cool experience. Never had a bad experience with any staff always nice and helpful. The place looks pretty clean and theres plenty of options π
The clients are ok, but there is hardly any diversity. The place is pretty clean though the floors are often sticky. Since this place rid itself of its steam room, there is nothing interesting about this steamworks. What makes this place even worse is its staff members and managers. The older staff member whom appears of Hispanic descent was extremely rude and disrespectful, while the general manager approves his behavior. I even seen the general manager threaten to kick out a black male because of the male complaining about how unprofessionally and disrespectfully he was treated by that employee. I have seen them openly disrespect other males of colors, but treat other races like gods for a lack of a term. Do not believe that this is a place for people of to enjoy themselves. Furthermore, they no longer have their steamroom.I received an unprofessional response from the owner or the manager of Steamworks in Seattle. Its funny how apparently cannot scroll down the list of valid complaints about your establishment. Also, you should had taken my complaint as constructive criticism, instead of demonizing me. You are a rude self entitled jerk.
While visiting from Los Angeles I took the time to check this place out. It was very clean and the cashiers were very polite and friendly. Worth buying a membership. Plus there was a very diverse crowd.
It was ok. The facilities were clean, but a better setting of the space will make it a greater experience. I dont understand why they dont have sauna, steam room or jacuzzi, if they have plenty open spaces waisted in unused things.
I love it its a clean place good people you can fine anything you want
I was there on sunday xmas day 25/12 my first time i like the place clean snd room clean all stafff are friendly i will be back when i cone back to seattle visit
Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice clean facility. Lots of Hot Sexy men having fun together.
A great and fun place to go. Plenty of guys of various types and ages. I love the glory holes, dark rooms, and anonymous sex!
Great crowd every time Iβve been here.
Overpriced, charged 32 bucks on Sunday for single entrance
I loved this place. Its was super clean and the staff were friendly and professional.
Steamworks is the venue that plays host to the CumUnion parties in Seattle. While the steam room is no longer functional the men are still coming here looking to play. And Cumunion is when the play is hottest.
Barely a bathhouse. No sauna, steam room or hot tub. Very dark and lots of mirrors, and very maze like.
It was fun, that night they got all my energy, I came out squeezed. π
Steamworks lacks two things: steam, and even the slightest indication that there is anything in the works. They must simply be waiting for the property to sell.
Just curious on how much it is from what I read it could be so much fun
Love it! Each time Iβm in Seattle I stop by. Hot fun and sweet time.
The cashier, Franny? Please learn how to harness your anger, that is not the attitude to serve customers
I loved this place itβs looks like grinder live lol
Waste of money. Always no rooms on weekends go to Z for less attitude.
How is the crowd after they opened post pandemic ? Are there enough visitors ?
Weird porn on all the time, strange music, and they removed the sauna. Not impressed.
Rude staff and false advertising.
Pretty fond of the place rather like it
I loved it.. great place.
Never stepping foot inside another bathhouse ever again!
The owner, Chris, is very rude
Too much attitude in the staff, ugly place.
They need to change the name to steamdontworks
Less attitude staff.
No steam
Rude staff
Excellent service, very friendly staff, a place that they strive to keep clean at all times, they treat me very well. Thank you.
