The Spa on Phillips

We enjoyed the perfect couples getaway at The Spa on Phillips that included a private couples room with a steam room and everything youd need from towels, robes, and slippers to a shower and hair products! Our 3 hour spacation included the float spa, couples massage, and couples facials. Each service was relaxing beyond measure. At the end of our day, we were treated with mimosas and treats. It was amazing and I cant wait to return!

Highly recommend the Spa on Phillips! First time visiting and was able to quickly and easily do everything online for booking and paperwork. Was brought back within 60 seconds of being in the building which was easy to find and plenty of parking. Staff and services were top notch. I will be back!

I needed a few hours for ME, so I took a personal day from work. I was able to get into The Spa on Phillips on short notice. I had a brow wax, pedicure, and a facial. I had never gotten a spa facial before, never really saw the point; boy, have I changed my tune! This was, hands down, the best, most relaxing, spa experience I have ever had. I will definitely be going back again.

We have tried spa experiences in several states and tourist locations and this spot rivals the best experiences at a much more affordable price. We did a 60 min couples massage, I had a deep tissue and my wife selected the hot stone massage. Both were excellent and the private locker room, steam room and dessert tray were great perks. Plus they have a frequent visitor rewards program. If you live in or visit Sioux Falls this is a place you should add to your to do list.

Nail services with Morgan are top notch! She is meticulous in her skills and so fun to hang out with when getting my nails done. Highly recommend!

My sister treated me to a delightful mani and pedi at The Spa on Phillips. Morgan was wonderful and took my ugly winter boot feet and turned them into pretty beach toes! After this dry winter, my fingers were a mess too. Morgan carefully manicured them, and then massaged them so that they look lovely!🤩I would highly recommend this spa and Morgan!

What a great spa, I came here a couple years ago and since I have been to other spas. And I can easily say this is the best spa! I dragged my husband with me to get a massage, we were not disappointed, not only were the massages amazing but the staff is just stellar! Everyone was so friendly and professional, and considerate. Cant wait to go back.

I had another wonderful massage at Spa on Phillips! I highly recommend! (Only suggestion I would make is to have a mirror on the wall in the room to check your look before leaving.)

So today I had the opportunity, thanks to my wonderful fiance, to go for a float. If youre not familiar with what a float is, its when you lay in a sensory deprivation tank filled with a very large amount of Epsom salt and warm water, allowing you to float.Before the float, you take a quick shower to clean yourself off. Once you enter the tank and close the door, theres a soft blue light under the water and colored lights on the ceiling, similar to a starry night sky. There Id also soft, peaceful music playing that stops about 10 minutes into the float, then all lights and sounds stop and youre bathed in total darkness.As you get used to the water, your arms and legs start to feel like they disappear into the water. Its a unique sensation, feeling the sensation of floating in near silence as you listen to your breathing and clear your thoughts.The experience lasts for an hour. It was a unique experience and something I would recommend if youre looking to get away from the stress of life. For me, it was a way to declutter my mind and relax from the stresses in my life.

I visited the spa for a pedicure with Morgan. Morgan has done my nails for years, and I would not want to go to anyone else in the Sioux Falls area. She does an exceptional job of making you feel relaxed and pampered, and she is great at conversation. She really shines when it comes to her nail work. She is one talented lady! I have been to others when away from home, and nobody has been able to compare to Morgan. She takes her time to make sure that your feet are baby soft and smooth, nails are cleaned up, and toes are perfectly polished. Her foot/leg/hand massages are great, too. The spa was comfortable and inviting. If you are looking for a great place to go for nails, I wouldnt hesitate to book at The Spa on Phillips.

I had a pampering day and experienced a float and then a massage! This combination of services is great way to really relax and renew yourself! I also got to have some time in their steam room which was wonderful!

This place is outstanding. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the massage was a very relaxing and enjoyable experience. It was a nice refuge from the cold on a snowy day and I definitely want to come back again.

I have gone to The Spa on Phillips a few times and have always enjoyed my time there! The space is always clean, the staff is always helpful, and I always walk out relaxed!

This is the best place to go for a massage, hands down. They are very professional, and listen to feedback on pressure.We go for couples massages and the presentation of the desserts and wine after the massage is just perfect.

Wanted to treat my boyfriend for his birthday a couples massage. He never had a massage before, and I thought that it would be fun to do a couples massage. I looked online for reviews and the Spa on Phillips had decent reviews. For what I paid and what I received I do not think that this couples massage is worth the price. Massage overall was good. Steam room was included but the steam room did not work. I went to ask an employee about this and was told it runs every 15 minutes. We waited/showered and in that 30 minutes of waiting, deciding to get ready for the day, the steam room did not turn on. And we were really looking forward to using it. Also there was no body wash in the shower to wash off the oils from the massage. For the dessert & champagne received champagne in plastic glasses and a couple mini cheesecakes squares that you can get from Sams Club. Overall I am disappointed in the experience for how much I paid for.

So far I have liked the massages here. I decided to give facials here a try since I have enjoyed their massages. Went in and told the girl I was having issues with congested/clogged pores and dry skin. For the 45 min that I was there all I remember her using was 2 cleansers, a sheet mask and a cream at the end. Things I already use at home. When I got home my skin/pores looked shiny but even more congested than when I got there. Clearly something was done wrong, because for some reason my skin was also experiencing bumps (which I’m not allergic to anything) and the “mini facial”did nothing to my skin. What did I pay for? I had to wash my face with properly when I got home for it to actually look clean and awake. Not shiny and congested. Sure I enjoyed the head massage and feeling relaxed but I needed my skin to be taken care first, the rest I didn’t care for. Learned my lesson to Stick to a Medical Spa ONLY for facials not a massage spa. Makes a world a difference.

I am in Sioux Falls for a short break and I was able to get a wonderful facial from Josie. It was an hour long and it went too fast. I loved the massage on my face, my head, my shoulders, and my arms and hands. I was so relaxed and comfortable. Josie helped me understand why I am having the issues I am with my skin and what I need to do in the future, which I am so thankful for the time she spent with me on this. I also appreciate how neither Josie or the very helpful receptionist, Abby, did not pressure me into buying products. I have been to many spas and this has by far been the most comfortable and enjoyable place. Due to Josie and Abby, I will be back when I am in Sioux Falls again.

I was in for a full body deep tissue massage. Bri did a phenomenal job! Id been in for physical therapy on my left shoulder 3x a week for almost a year. I havent had the range of motion I have right now! She worked out the kinks in my shoulders and lower back. I was only in yesterday, but I feel great! Thank you Bri!!

This place is such a joke. My wife is 32 weeks pregnant. So I tried surprising her with a nice “Prenatal Massage”. I went online and booked appointment. It asked for Name,Number,Email oh and card number. It was set for later in evening at 415pm. My wife arrive excited about her massage and they say “we don’t have an appointment for you. Your husband must of only “requested it. Our website isn’t working properly. When you book online it doesn’t work”. She drove from far West side tea/Ellis road to downtown Sioux Falls to hear such news. Mind you, they had her number. They had her email? Wasn’t no notifications sent to share. On the website it showed same day availability. She got there and they told her “we’re booked for a week out”TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. FELLAS DONT GO BOOKING A SURPRISE MASSAGES ONLINE AT THIS PLACE…. 0 star service.

If there was an option for 2.5 stars I would have given that. Services received were a manicure, facial and massage preformed as a spa package.The staff were all extremely friendly and welcoming the entire time. The manicure I received was very good! Still looks great 12 days later. The manicure setting was not upscale at all, but maybe Spa on Philips doesnt market themselves as upscale? I had to dig around in a plastic container for my gel nail polish, not really an relaxing upscale experience.Next was the facial amd massage. I honestly didnt realize the facial was going on. Definitely not seem like a facial I have received at other high end spas. It was to me what just seemed like a moisturizer and then a hot towel applied for a minute. Very disappointing.The massage took place in the same room. The massage table made noise the entire time!!! I could not relax at all. I even mentioned it to the massage therapist, she didnt know what was going in with it. I did ask for more pressure during my massage and didnt feel that I got it. The massage therapist was extremely nice but the massage was just not great.The spa package was expensive and this was a very special occasion for me that I had looked forward to for a while and I was just so disappointed. I did reach out to the spa with my concerns, they did called me back and left a vm, I in return called them back and have not heard from them. I just can not go back to this place unfortunately.

Been here twice for our anniversary and both times the service and massages were wonderfull. The staff was so kind and took such great care of my wife and I. Will keep going back here. Also I called on short notice and there were able to get us both in with a weeks notice. Top notch service.

I always have Josie do my manicure and pedicure. She does such a wonderful job. It is obvious she is proud of her work and she makes sure you look good and are satisfied before you leave. You also have to pass her inspection!! All of the staff I have been in contact with are always courteous and professional. If you like to feel relaxed and pampered this is the place for you. I had an amazing experience with Spa 2000 when I went with a friend and got some pedicure time. Definitely impressive and professional (plus FUN!) beauticians who worked with us. I would recommend highly, especially for important events. It was more than I would normally pay but for a special treat once in a blue moon, it was just right. Thanks for pampering me!

My husband and I came to Spa 2000 to try out the float tank. This was our first float experience and it was great! Staff was very nice when we first walked in. Some one took us back to the tanks, walked us through how everything worked and made sure that we were comfortable before leaving us to it. The room was very nice and fully stocked with everything we need (towels, wash cloth, robe, ear plugs, etc.). The tank was nice and warm. Very relaxing. Thank you for the great experience!

I got my mom a facial as a gift and she loved it! It was her first one ever and the girls really made her feel comfortable and so relaxed to the point she fell asleep. Great clean environment too. Now I have to book one for myself!

Had them do my nails for my wedding last year in June. The girl took over 4 hours to do my nails, which were a simple French-tip gel nail and a purple gel on my toes. This was two days before the wedding, so I did not have the time to wait that long. All my bridesmaids had the same nail-style done, but at other nail places in town. All of theirs were way better looking than mine.

The gals at spa on Phillips were such a sweet treat to myself and 5 friends. We highly recommend the massages, facials, and manicures! Thanks again!!

Ive been here many times for different services ranging from pedicures, facials, and massages. Every time is a delight! Today I had a hot-stone massage with Jennifer, and I left feeling amazing! The atmosphere is luxurious and so relaxing, and the staff is always so nice and welcoming. The only place I go for all my spa treatments!

I cannot sing enough praises for Esmeralda! I see her every 4-6 weeks for massages and reiki therapy. You can tell she loves what she does and has a deep passion for helping others. The spa is set up for complete relaxation and is incredibly welcoming. I genuinely feel very blessed to have met Esmeralda.

We had a couples massage. Hannah is awesome! My other half did hope more time would have been spent on his lower back. The private locker/steam room following our massages made us feel extra pampered. Thank you Spa 2000 for really making our Saturday afternoon special!

The new ownership has improved the the ambience of the setting. The receptionist is always friendly. My hair stylist Josie is the absolute best. I have known her for 4 years.

My husband and I each did an individual salt float and a couples Hot Stone massage. Both masseuses were professional and great! Spa 2000 surprised us with Champaign and a dessert tray after the message.Also, the Body wash, shampoo, and conditioner they use in the spa is the best. My skin has never felt so soft in Feb, in South Dakota.

I have had massages and facials done and I always have the best experience. Mickey is amazing to work with and she does a fantastic job. The only person I ever want when I go!

This was a very poor experience. I bought the float spa 60 minute time for myself & mother who had brain cancer this past year. I had floated before at another facility & this experience was much poorer. My mother had to get out of the chamber after 15 minutes because of poor air quality. It was very difficult to breathe in there. The air was very stagnant. There is not ventilation for fresh breathing air. I did not feel any pampering or care or concern for us. After the float, you are to shower using the shampoo, conditioner, soap, and lotion provided which was very poor quality. I wouldve expected salon quality products for after the float. The locker/changing room was dirty and dusty. I was really disappointed in the experience and was very hopeful to provide my mother with a relaxing & wonderful afternoon. It did not turn out that way for either one of us.

Went to Spa 2000 for my first float than session. There staff was very helpful and lead me through the process. I was given privacy fitting the float experience which was very relaxing and awesome. I cant wait to go my next float here. Cant remember a more calming and relaxing moment.

I used a gift certificate for a 90 minute massage today and what a treat! The spa facility is very nice with a welcoming and relaxing atmosphere and a friendly, professional staff. My massage therapist was excellent , listening and responding to my areas of concern. A great experience!

Ive been going to Spa 2000 for several years. Love treating myself to a hot stone massage or trying something new like a float session. It is always a great experience! I highly recommend going to Spa 2000! I have been receiving Reflexology with Tammy F. for the past month and I have seen amazing results. Ive had swelling and the look of broken blood vessels in my hands for the past year, its painful. I started seeing Tammy F. the first part of December and after 4 treatments, no issues of my hands has occurred again! She is also working on my feet and Im getting results there too! Im so happy!! Its amazing! Thank you Tammy F.!!

On August 12th my significant other and I had a couples massage at Spa 2000. All of the services provided with the package we booked were wonderful and the atmosphere was very relaxing. Natasha my massage Therapist did an excellent job and I would highly recommend her and Spa 2000 to anyone.

The lighting was so bad I could not even see the back of my hair when stylist handed me the mirror. I expected a hair wash and style with my haircut but did not get one. The stylist did not seem very experienced, but very nice.

So amazing and relaxing. Jennifer was a remarkable massage therapist and would hands down go back to her! The weighted pads and heated towels and nice touches, too.

Excellent service and beyond excellent staff! Highly recommend this place!

I am a little upset because I had called several places trying to do something special for my mom since I just moved back after 20 years and because of this whole Covid debacle. I was so happy to get an appt and it sounded so promising. After hanging up the receptionist (who was extremely nice) calls back and tells me there is going to be an upcharge after I had paid for everything up front because my mother and I would be in the same room for set up. It wasnt that much by all means, but when I just bought 2 of the more expensive packages, I just found it extremely unprofessional. I owned a business for quite some time and I found this minuscule and poorly handled. I just asked them to refund my card which they did with no problem. I hope that tiny fee was worth over $500. Thanks.

Drove from Brandon to Downtown for massage. Got there early and waited, waited, and waited and nobody came and said anything. After sitting for 30 min I went to ask whats going on. They went to go check and said they were probably switching sheets and came back and said they were still working on previous client and would I like to wait more. Of course not now especially not knowing is it going to take another 10, 15 min. I have things to do and didnt really seem that it was that big of a problem they were late. Got a whole $10 off for that therapist for next visit which I already have one. I think I will find someplace else that is more time oriented and values customer a little more

Was visiting from out of town, and lucked out and got in soon after I called. The interior of their salon is down right gorgeous, the staff is friendly and throughout, and their pedicure area is inviting and comfortable. They specialize in OPI and CND polish and Shellac. The even brought me a coffee! I highly recommend this business 💖

Esmeralda was kind and had a sense of humor that I appreciated as a newcomer to massage. She focused on tight areas and made me feel comfortable. The whole Spa 2000 experience from walking in the door to checking out is refreshing.

Spa 2000 is a wonderful place for any type of spa service, and the owner and managers are always researching, as well as adding to the spa service menu, the newest cutting edge services. I highly recommend the massages and facials/skin services. My favorite service provider is Mickey. Not only do I request Mickey for all of my services, but I send my mother, mother-in-law and friends to her, as well.

We had a girl’s spa day. We had one hour massages and pedis. The massage from Alex was a perfect blend of relaxation and working some tight muscles. The pressure was perfect. One of the best massages I’ve had.

I most usually get a swedish massage. Ive never really had much for bad experiences. Usually, when i come in, they offer a warm neck pillow, however, they havent been offering the last few times Ive come in. Everyone is always very nice and the massages are always great. Each massuese has their own styles but they are all very good about listening to your needs and are very knowledgeable and helping to offer any advice.

Mickey is the best! My skin has never looked better and she is so knowledgeable on all the services! Hydra facial and Endermology treatments are game changers!!!

One star is too much for them. They use razor blades and cut your skin when they don’t have a barber licensure. And they make you pay extra money for leaving you to go home to finish your haircut by yourself. This place is horrible. Staff are rude and never apologize. AND the experience is a nightmare.

A few weeks ago I had a Hydrafacial at Spa 2000 - I was amazed at how my skin cleared up after having the sunscreen buildup from the summer removed. It was a great experience and I will definitely be going back to have more!

They didnt have their staff together so I had to wait an hour and a half for my appointment. The stylist was very nice and friendly, its just a shame that the owner was rude and the haircut was overpriced for the quality of the service and facility.

Ive tried the floatation therapy and deep tissue massage, both services were amazing. The staff is great and the atmosphere is wonderful.

Called and scheduled a day-of appointment for later in the day. When I arrived the receptionist had no idea what I was talking about and said there was no appointment for me.

My daughter woke with high fevers and I asked if I could reschedule last minute as I did not want to bring her which high fevers…they charged me for the service.
