Tranquility Therapeutic Massage & Spa

Did a couples massage about a week ago. My masseuse did a nice job. My partner’s masseuse unfortunately didn’t listen to the two problem areas that they asked prior. We came in to get those areas worked on for him and when we left he was very disappointed. 90 min couples massages were a lot of money and instantly being disappointed sucked. My girl was so sweet and did a good job. The cheesecake and flowers were cool and a special add on but we were ideally there for a good massage. I guess it’s just who you get, we probably will go to a different place for the future.

Couples massage was a DREAM!! Everything about it was perfect and so relaxing. Especially appreciated the rose petals, mimosas, cheesecake (amazing), roses to take home. The music, ambiance, dim lighting, candles, and aromatherapy really elevated the experience. Also appreciated the hot towels at the end. Very professional massage therapists (thank you Kaitie & Cecelia) and a lovely experience here. We will 100% be back.

The booking online made it so easy to find a time that worked for me and allowed me to not have to mess with paying in my after massage daze.When you walk in you get a true spa feeling. The space has a wonderful energy and is beautiful. I was immediately greeted and it didnt take long to get to my room.Michele, my therapist, was friendly and welcoming. She massaged all the places that really needed focus, and checked in frequently on pressure. She did wonderful work.Would recommend this to anyone looking for a great massage experience!Thank you!

I received a pre-natal massage from Julia C and she was amazing!! She gave great advice and applied enough pressure that I felt better after the massage. Would highly recommend her if you are pregnant!

Tranquility is just that. They create a wonderful relaxing atmosphere with comfortable rooms and tables, mood lighting, and beautiful artwork on the walls. They also care about the economy. While others are raising their prices, Tranquility is not. Full 60 minute massage for $80. Everyone is so caring and kind. Cecilia was awesome. Love her tecnique. She found all the troubled areas and knew just what to do while still making it relaxing. 😌

This was my first time at Tranquility and it won’t be my last. Julia was my masseuse and she was wonderful. She listened to me and addressed all my issues and was always concerned about my comfort. I left feeling better than I have in a long time. I strongly recommend Julia and the spa.

Went for a couples massage today and it was so relaxing, the facial was AMAZING. The massage was also AMAZING. The receptionist was super friendly and personable. They had rose petals laid out all over the room, 2 pieces of cheesecake and 2 mimosas for us when all done and pampered. Even gave me 3 beautiful roses to take home with me. We will definitely be back!

I came in for my first ever massage, a deep tissue massage with Jo and it was amazing! She was very sweet and listened and focused of my problem areas while also explaining what she was doing she made sure I was comfortable and relaxed the entire time

Our couple’s massage was amazing. One of the best massage experiences we have had at a really competitive price. Everyone was very nice, and the little touches/details of the experience really stand out. Great service, great massage would highly recommend.

The massages were great. Leaving the massage place I felt extremely relaxed. I was quoted 265 online and ended up having to end up paying 295. I wasn’t prepared for the $30 different price change. Other than that the massage therapist knew exactly how much pressure to place and made sure we were satisfied with how the pressure was.

What a wonderful evening. We did 1 hour and it was my first time but my beauxs many-ith time with massages but first at this location. OMG it was amazing. There was CHEESECAKE! and candies and non-alcoholic mimosas. It was such a beautiful atmosphere. Absolutely loved it. Jessica and ReAnn were so professional and wonderful. One loves really hard deep tissue and one loves lighter - and both of us came out very happy. Truly what a wonderful place. We will be back for future date nights!

It was beautiful experience. Very welcoming. The ladies that worked on my and my husband did amazing . When we are back in town we will diffently rebook maybe try something new.

She listens, understands my massage needs, and does the very best. The owner, Teresa, is amazing, too. Shes so knowledgeable. Scheduling a massage is still quick and easy with the online booking, and I appreciate that I dont need to pay ahead of my appointment.Lastly, I love the new location! There is plenty of parking, spacious waiting room, and calming/relaxing rooms. Wow, is all I can say! Keep it up, guys!

I am a new mamma with a 8 month at home. I havent had time or the energy do really do anything for myself since my pregnancy. I scheduled a Swedish message with Kaitie for a Saturday morning. Just for some me time. It was absolutely amazing. She was so kind and always checking to make sure I was doing okay. She was very perfesaional throughout the massage. I highly recommend her and this spa! I will definitely be coming back.

We did the couple’s massage and loved our experience! Relaxing, great masseuses (Tate and Lacey), and we got pampered with a cheesecake and mimosa table! My husband wanted to book another massage for the next day!

Jessica was amazing. The way she used not only her hands, but forearms, elbows, wrist....she really got in and worked out some of those knots in my back. I knew within the first minute it was going to be the best massage Ive ever gotten. Facility is warm, comfy, inviting, and clean. From the front desk, the restroom, the massage rooms, the appearance of staff, everything made you feel VIP. I was very impressed and Now, excited to know of a Facility of this caliber. This place was absolutely amazing. The ambience is amazing. I had Kaitie doing my massage and she was amazing. She understood from the beginning that I had very high anxiety, and that I had a texture issue, and did not like certain textures or feels on my body. She was very understanding and made sure I was comfortable the complete time I was there. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and definitely recommend Kaitie.

I live in Saint Paul and I only schedule my massages at Tranquility for when I come home every few months or so. I will not get a massage anywhere else anymore. The pricing is so much more affordable than most places and you get way more than what you pay for. Katie is such a sweetheart and does an absolutely amazing job.

I had the most excellent dermaplaning facial with Mykenah! The room was so warm and relaxing that I almost fell asleep. Mykenah offered me different comfort options and it was the best facial I honestly have ever had. I will be back for more. My skin feels amazing and SO SOFT!!! My husband booked me a prenatal massage as a pre-baby/birthday present and it was such a treat. The facilities were really clean and the ambiance was soothing and relaxing. I’m about 8 months pregnant and they had a special bed for pregnant ladies to make sure you were as comfortable as possible, including lying face-down. The bed had a cut out for your belly. I didn’t realize fully how tense I’ve been but the massage was amazing, the masseuse communicated well to make sure she was using the right amount of pressure and that I was comfortable. The whole experience was relaxing and helped with some soreness I’ve been experiencing in my lower back. I highly recommend a prenatal massage here. Would love to get another one!

I had such a great experience here! This was my first massage, and I’m a pretty anxious person so I wasn’t sure what to expect. Right when walking in, you’re greeted with a calm environment and polite staff.I had a massage with Holly, and I’d absolutely recommend her to anyone! I chose to talk with her for the majority of the massage, and she had so many fun stories. She listens to all of your needs and consistently keeps communication open during the massage, and is such a kind-hearted lady! Fantastic experience, and I absolutely will be going here again.

I went in for a deep tissue massage for one particular area that has been giving me problems and Ashley ensured that she focused her attention on it! My feet were cold(however I didn’t mention it) and she put a heat bag over them while she worked on my back. Not to mention, the hot towels at the end were wonderful too. Her movements were smooth and fluid to keep it relaxing. Great ambiance. I would definitely recommend to anyone needing some work!

I had been putting off getting help with my back pain and one day it was unbearable, Tranquility got me in that same day within a few hours. Brenda blew me away with how well she can read a body. It’s like I could feel her taking the pain away! And she literally did. It’s a month or so later, and her healing has lasted. My sciatica pain is no where near what it was before Tranquility helped to mend me. I’ve gotten many massages over the years, and this one exceptionally stood out to me. Highly recommend this place. Whether you are looking for a deep tissue massage or more relaxing options, there are so many things to choose from. Personally, the idea of getting a massage does not make me feel at ease but they were so professional and made me feel comfortable. This may seem like a luxury but sitting at a desk all day can really have a detrimental effect on your posture (and, thus, how you feel). Doing something like this is like taking your car to the mechanic for a periodic checkup. This is an easy way to improve your quality of life.

Went in for a couple massage for the first time. Not knowing what to expect, they made us feel very comfortable and did such a wonderful job working the areas on both of us that needed it most. We went in for a 1 hour couples message, first let me say the price is unbeatable but when you factor in the no pressure friendly staff, the fact that we had a private room, cheesecake, ample time (I think they even went a little over), and they ended our visit with a couple of roses to take home you wont find a better place in town! This was my first visit here. It was clean, quiet, relaxing. Only thing I didnt like was the amount of scented candles. Im sensitive to synthetic fragrance. Otherwise I was very happy. Sara was fantastic. The best massage Ive had. I came in with specific areas of discomfort that I wanted her to work on. It was a deep tissue with cupping and was both beneficial and relaxing. I will be back and schedule with Sara again.

My husband and I traveled from another state for our anniversary. We both had a facial and massage with cupping. This was by far the best massage and experience Ive ever had. Abby did a fantastic job with the massage and cupping. She located all the areas of soreness I had and addressed them. Katie was amazing with the facial. My wife and I booked the whole shebang as a Christmas gift to each other and holy cow were we impressed! First time ever getting a massage and it really was the whole shebang that is no exaggeration. Ive been to Tranquility twice in the last 30 days for deep tissue work. The therapist I saw both times was Shelly R. Hands down they have been some of the best deep tissue Ive experienced in Sioux Falls! She worked me over like a rented mule!! Ive already scheduled my 3rd massage with her!

I tried a new massage avenue today, I had a day off from cleaning houses and searched yesterday for an opening. Found Therapeutic Massage had an opening with Sherry U. I’ve never had my body loved and comforted like I did today. Sherry worked slowly on my knots and all over, feet were amazing. The music choices she had I loved. Her soft spoken voice was enough to relax me. Thanks for making my day off a good one.

Courtney was wonderful! I typically dont have people use as firm of pressure as like, but Courtney really gave an excellent deep massage. Would definitely recommend her specifically to friends and family. She was easy to talk to, but didnt make me feel pressured to chat the whole time and I found that very relaxing. I found tranquility spa via online search. I chose them based on online reviews. I booked a reservation easily online via their website. The location is easy to find close to 41st St. and Cliff. The ambience in the spa is very relaxing and pleasant. The staff were very nice. My massage was wonderful. Would I go here again? Absolutely!I enjoyed it so much I booked another session before I left.

Ashley is AMAZING! I didnt want a massage, my husband gifted me a massage, lol! I was so nervous/uncomfortable walking in. Ashley immediately started relaxing me before I was even on the table. She eased all my fears and insecurities and made me feel SO comfortable. She also hurt me quite a bit, IN A GOOD WAY! She worked my many knots out and literally had me drooling in relaxation at the end. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend her to anyone in need of a massage. I will definitely be going back and seeing Ashley again.The facility looks old from the outside, but is all around comfort and cleanliness inside. Polite staff, but parking is a bit difficult. I booked a couples massage for my husband and I to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. It was a nice touch to be given roses, chocolates and even some amazing cheesecake! The ladies who gave us the massages were both friendly and professional. We will certainly come back for another massage! (And the price was great too!!)

Abigail was AMAZING! I’m 8 months pregnant and I’ve only had one other prenatal massage but Abigail hit it out of the park with my massage. I would HIGHLY suggest her for your needs of a massage! And another plus part about her was she knew wear the points were for my pain, I didn’t even say anything! She was such a sweetheart and laid back person! Just finished a couples 90 min massage here, and we are BLOWN AWAY. The room was covered in rose petals, candles lit everywhere, the massage tables were warmed, candy and a giant vase of roses, plus the best cheesecake I’ve ever had after (I didn’t finish my slice and they gave me a box). The price was also incredible and the therapists were very kind and good at what they did! He got a relaxing massage and I got a deeper therapeutic massage. HIGHLY recommend.

I have been here 4 times. I have has the massage, fassage, and facial services and all of them were OUTSTANDING! I have requested RACHEL every time because after my first visit with her I felt like a whole new person. She has such a magnetic personality I wish I could go every week! I am a traveling nurse needless to say I am always tense. I have never been more relaxed after leaving this place. I have been to a hand full of day spas and resorts, and this was by far the best service provider I have ever had. I have had emotional trauma throughout my life and she sincerely cared about it. I have gotten massages for years to help myself to not be as high strung and she listened to everything I talked about. She even gave me product recommendations without being over bearing. She told me what could help me without shoving a product in my face like other places I have been to. BEST. PLACE. EVER! I have recommended Rachel to everyone I know in the Sioux Falls area.

Theresa did an amazing massage. Not only did she work on my muscles, she took the time to explain why they were stiff and showed me stretches that will help keep them from tightening up in the future. Everyone at Tranquility is very welcoming and professional. I have seen a few different therapists here, and I have never had a negative experience. Each massage therapist has their own unique technique and then they tailor it to your specific needs.

My husband and I got a couples massage and omg it was our first massage ever and let me tell you it was the best they made me feel comfortable and it was very calming. We got dessert afterwords and when we were done they handed me some flowers, it was honestly the best anniversary we had together.

Theresa was amazing! She listened to my issues, and knew exactly what to do! I was in a car accident 5 years ago and have done a lot of different treatments to address my neck and back issues. I believe with her help, deep tissue massage will bring me the relief I need.

I was fortunate to be able to schedule a same day massage!! I scheduled for a deep tissue massage with Natasha.I have to be honest - I think this was the best massage I have gotten. I walked out sore, but feeling good - anyone who has had deep tissue understands this feeling! Around this time of year - I usually need 4-5 massages due to the work I do - Natasha’s approach was to take care of the muscles from where the problem originates from.I highly recommend this establishment, and if in need of deep tissue, I highly recommend Natasha - I will be coming back!

My massage with Rachel was probably one of the best Ive ever had. I am very particular about my massages and Ive had a hard time finding a massage therapist who can give me the deep pressure that I like. Great place! I tried out the “Shelly Special” on a whim. Shelly, the esthetician, provided fassage and facial (which I had never had) while Theresa, the massage therapist, gave an excellent therapeutic massage - she was releasing muscle tension I didn’t know I had! It was a great deal for the price experiencing both services at once. I went to tranquility for my first massage and it was a great experience. My neck and shoulders have been very tight and painful since an incident in August, and Theresa took note and focused on the problem areas. She also gave me some great advise for home therapy. I opted for the deep tissue massage, and it was very intense. You can tell she goes above and beyond to help relive your pain.

We just moved my daughter out of her sorority house and stopped in Sioux Falls for a Mothers Day celebration. Cannot say enough about Tranquility Massage. It was just what we needed after a long drive. Laurie was very professional and took the time to suggest exercises and stretches that would help alleviate and loosen up some of our tight muscles. Appreciated the Sunday afternoon hours too! Sure wished I lived closer as Tranquility Massage would then be a weekly stop.

I made my appointment on the website. The day of appointment, got a text asking if I wanted a specific therapist. Which I made my selection with my usual, Theresa. Since I didnt get back to them fast enough I was scheduled with a different therapist. I was a little disappointed, I had Tanya. She was very kind and talkative. During my massage she talked the whole time. I felt she used all her energy talking then actually giving me a deep tissue massage. I dont recommend going on a Friday two hours before closing time. I got a half commitment massage, or what you call a get out of here massage. Not relaxing still had stressed muscles and to top it off, a stressed pocket book.

I get massages fairly regular (at least once a month), I used to practice as a physical therapist and so I can be very fussy with massages.After my first session with Theresa I felt like I met the one lol. Omy, this gal is wonderful !! I went to her yesterday .. 90 minutes of pure heaven... ! She is strong and knows what she is doing.. I went in with a really bad stiff neck..notted up back , tense sholders .. I couldnt even turn my neck a little.. when I left .. i.can !
