Extremely rude staff.Overpriced drinks.Horrible music.I had to pay a door fee for a empty bar hardly anyone was in here all night.High do not recommend going here, go on to the other many bars and clubs in the 2 miles radius because this place is TRASH!

Really pricey drinks. Rude staff approached us at the beginning of the night complaining about how I smelt like weed. Then kicked me out for the smell. Music sucked

We were in town for an event last weekend, stopped by for a drink with my wife. The total came to one amount. My wife signed her check, I saw the tip she left and the total amount. He asked if we wanted the receipt copy but didnt ask the other guy that had just used his card to pay the same question. My wives card was charged for a much higher amount of money than I saw her sign for.We had 2 drinks.Paid cash to get in.We expect safety when supporting businesses within our own community. This is unacceptable.

This bar provides an intimate encounter with drag shows. Their stage is a hybrid of platforms and they are welcoming to newbies and veterans alike! I watched a str8 dad give dance advice to a gaby. I wish I had a place so inclusive when I was 21. Cash monet was just fine and there was support all around. ILL DEFINITELY BE BACK.

I recently went there last week to check out the venue. I did not feel welcomed for it being a lbgtq friendly bar. My boyfriend and I came to support one of my fellow queens as we are entertainers as well and wasnt even greeted but watched her proceed to greet everyone else. The drag show should have more of a variety in my opinon rather than just 2 performers. The bartenders were very frantic and rude. This is such a cool spot just wish it was more of a pleasurable experience for us.

My girlfriend and I went on reopening night and it was horrible from the start. We wanted to shoot pool, they only have 1 pool table and it is in a corner where you can barely shoot freely. There were damn near 200 people in the building and they only had 2 bartenders serving. The female bartender continuously passed my girlfriend and I as we were waiting to order drinks. She serviced everyone else around us. The drinks were not bad although they dont offer any drinks specials. You would think on the grand reopening night, they would at least offer some type of something to keep people coming back. The drag show was lame as hell and the music was meh. Definitely will not be back nor referring anyone to this bar, gay or not.

I want to give an honest in-depth review of dockside given no prior relationship with any of the staff upon first visit.I was bored on a Friday night and I wanted something to do that was relatively close to my apartment. This place along with a couple others popped up on my radar. I wanted to get good drinks at a fair price but also experience an environment that would lead me to return countless times. I took the Gamble and I went to dockside.Things to note for first timers is that there is a COVER charge of 5 dollars. Whether this is cash only or not is up for debate. I brought cash just to be safe. The place its self isnt that big on the inside but its big enough for 70 plus people. The bartender who happened to be the owner that night was amazing. Besides being friendly and having a solid knowledge of all drinks he could make. He also was great at giving you the customer a great selection that would suit your taste palette. The music was relatively new and the DJ actually did an amazing job at keeping the pacing up tempo.My first experience was absolutely phenomenal. So much so that I wanted to go back the very next day to make sure it wasnt a new person special. To my amazement yet again they provided an amazing experience. Although I left early to go get food. I was very nicely invited back and that made me feel special. This place is a gem. I dont know the duration of which its been established but, this is the type of place anyone in the area that wants to get out for a good time should go-to. You will have fun and although the security guard can seem a little on the off putting side. He too was amazing.Lets talk pricing. So I ordered my first night what seemed to be a total of 10 drinks. This ran me 43 ish dollars. These drinks were strong and they tasted excellent. I made sure to leave a tip because watered down drinks to leech more money from the customers is becoming a normal. Its sad its only open twice a week but it is a club so its respectable.While Im in Indiana this place will be a hotspot for weekend fun for me. I came from l.a. and this was the closest thing to an l.a. experience Ive had in a long time.It deserves a five star. Not for the decourm but for the experience you have when going there. I will be going back and taking more photos of the establishment to put the minds of new comers at ease. Im sure when business picks up parking will become an issue but, for now this is a true gem to the Mishawaka community and must be experienced at least once.

This place was actually pretty fun! Much smaller than I expected, but the drinks were good, the bartender was great and the music was pumpin! However the location isnt the greatest, seems shady, and it needs to be bigger for the crowd that they draw.

NOTE: Reviews before February 2nd 2018 should not be considered, as the bar has changed to an LGBTQ+ oriented nightclub.Great (only?) place to dance in South Bend! I went to the reopening night and it was a blast! Other people may complain about the delay time for drinks, but two of the bartenders called in sick, so they were understaffed for one of their busiest nights! I gave them a break. Sure, there a few kinks to work out as they are new, but they are actively listening to criticism, so Dockside will only get better! The environment was friendly and there was a great, varied selection of music. It finally gives the LGBTQ+ community a space they deserve. Definitely going back often!

The bathrooms were beyond disgusting and the bartender charged my card for 30 dollars. When I asked for my receipt he said he threw it away, I only had one drink and left a tip. My total should have need 11. Not 30, that is theft.

Last night was my first time going to dockside , Yes I expected to have a great time not a crowd at all very little but mostly Caucasian’s as soon as my mom gets judged to dance not one of them acknowledged her very rascal discrimination. when they have a writing that states all are welcome welp as a black woman I won’t be returning I was completely disgusted and disappointed racism does exist and it’s sad and ignorant the hate you give .

Was in town for the weekend, stopped by for a drink with my wife. The total was 15.95 and I left a 3$ tip. But my card was charged for 30$. Highly unappreciated to be taken advantage of by my own community members.

Pretty cool late night bar. Mainly for the college kids though, since its right by IUSB and Notre Dame. It gets crazy on football nights. The have awesome shot deals too, and a spacious dance floor.

Fun place, bar tenders are nice. More clean than most places. Has outside patio in summer time for smoking.

Most friendly atmosphere, clean and Daniel is the most awesome employee, I recommend this night club to all, Friday and Saturday from 9 pm from 3 am, please come in and have a great time!!
