Dance With Me The Woodlands

I have been going to DWM The Woodlands for private and group lessons for over a year now. It has been the greatest dance experience from the day I signed up for an introductory lesson through today, and I have no plan on stopping!The front desk staff are very polite, kind, and accommodating. Ive only ever been treated and spoken to with courtesy and respect. They really do try to accommodate your schedule and needs as much as possible.Ive taken lessons from all of their instructors - some in one-on-one lessons and others in the group classes. All of the instructors are so well trained, have extensive experience in ballroom dancing, and are great teachers who work with all students - those who are totally new to dance and also others who have been dancing for years. Everyone is there to make sure you have a great time dancing and learning. I can have the worst day, but once Im there at the studio, I feel like a totally new person being surrounded by such a wonderful, inclusive community.

Fantastic studio. Savannah is a saint and has the most patience of anyone I have ever met. She does an amazing job of clearly explaining the steps, demonstrating and reviewing. She is witty, funny and engaging. We couldn’t ask for a better experience. All levels will benefit here so don’t feel like you have to come in already Fred Astaire. If you are unsure about taking a class, take the leap. You won’t regret it!

If you look for a place to transform your dancing skills, or a place that can teach you many different type of dancing styles so you can have fun dancing with friends and families, I would highly recommend giving Dance with Me The Woodlands a try. This studio truly provides positive learning environment and excellent teaching quality. Learning ballroom dancing can be intimidating at first but as long as you show up, you’ll reach your goals at DWM.

I have danced ballroom for many years and done competitions with several studios in Houston, I had personal instructors.Now I live in The Woodlands, and I want to keep my training and competitions.I when to DANCE WITH ME, and it was a big disappointment, I was helped by a young man at the front desk who gave me some information. Next to the receptionist, I saw one of the instructors sitting down and looking at his mobile all the time, the place was empty at 5:30 Friday afternoon. I was hoping he will notice a future client and will come to welcome me so that we could talk about me continuing what I was doing in Houston, but he was too busy looking at his phone, also a lady (probably another instructor) from the studio came and they start talking, and she ignores me too.My experience was not a good one and they lost a future client. Ballroom dancing is an expensive hobby, so CUSTOMER SERVICE is very important. Very bad way of doing business. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS STUDIO.THERE IS ALWAYS ANOTHER PLACE!!

I was drawn to this place 10 seconds after I saw an ad with Val, from Dancing with the Stars informing that he opened a studio in the Woodlands. I have wanted to ballroom dance for almost 15 years. Although, I’m not close. The long drive is worth the connections I have made with my instructors on the dance floor during my private lessons. I also enjoy the group classes because there is more opportunity to keep exercising while having fun. Since starting 6 months ago, I have done one Team Match and plan to do more in the future. I’m looking forward to my first showcase in the fall.

I can’t thank Daniel enough for helping my wife and I prepare for the first dance at our wedding. Let me start off by saying that her and I are about as beginner as it gets. Daniel was very patient with us and simplified the corrections to our routine In a way that was easy to understand. Every employee and member of this facility was very courteous and pleasant. They turned something that’s out of our comfort zone into an enjoyable date night that we looked forward to. Many of our wedding guests complimented us on our first dance. So happy we chose “dance with me” and that we met Daniel. Beyond satisfied with the experience!

When I took my first dance lesson at Dance With Me Woodlands, I thought that it would be my one and only lesson. Little did I know that I would find a new interest and hobby. The staff is welcoming and friendly. The group classes are fun and inviting. And the instructors are remarkable! If you are the least bit interested in learning how to dance, I highly recommend Dance With Me Woodlands. I wrote this review a year ago and I still stand by my comments. I love this place, the people and the instructors. Dance With Me Woodlands is the place to be if you want to learn how to dance. Eric, Mark, Lizl and Anton are the best instructors in the area! Oxana is amazing and a great coach/teacher/manager and the front desk staff, Georgie and Kaitlyn are warm and welcoming. Do not wait another day......book a lesson today!!!

I love Dance with Me!! I started shortly after the studio opened and I have gotten so much more than I ever expected. Besides learning ballroom dances, Ive lost weight, feel better and have made so many wonderful friends. And the instructors are loving and supportive and amazing dancers. Even my big ex high school football and soccer coach boyfriend dances too. Get in here guys!

I attend this studio as my wife wanted to learn different dances as well as have a fun work out. This is as professional as you can get in terms of dance studios. Many other studios I have seen in my life (as a former professional actor) tended to be not too professional, meaning no good training facility, lacking a good number of mirrors, poor sound system, instructors that are not good at instructing, etc. This is not the case with Dance With Me. The instructors are very knowledgeable and also confer with each other when they need an outside opinion which impressed me. (Meaning they do not have egos). You also get to learn from different instructors so you get a better rounded dance education. Now, like any education based product, you get what you put in and pay for. This place has professional dancers that know what they are doing, so the cost isnt the same as that a weekend dance instructor who used to be a professional dancer 20 years ago that teachers you 3 dance moves. For anyone that is considering learning here, I recommend it highly, and cant stress enough to practice the moves at home if you truly want to improve.

I have been dancing with DWM for almost a year and I have to say the staff is very professional but still a lot of fun! This weekend I am doing the group Team dance for the second time. Most important is I feel like we are all part of a family not just a studio. Come join us and see for yourself!

I was SO nervous about pursuing my lifelong dream of dance lessons, but I decided to just give it a shot. After all, what did I have to lose, other than all of my pride and dignity???? Lol!!!!!!! I had convinced myself that it was too late for me, at age 65. Was I ever wrong!!!! I have never had so much fun in my LIFE!!! The entire staff at DWM is warm, welcoming, and positive. They make you feel that NOTHING is impossible. No matter your age, your dance experience (or lack thereof), or your fitness level, you will find yourself quickly feeling coordinated, graceful, and confident! If you have even the tiniest little voice telling you to try it, LISTEN TO THAT VOICE!! Youll be SO glad you paid attention to it!

I travel from several states away for Dance with Me instruction. Every teacher Ive worked with is first rate. They push you to be the best you can be. Everyone is friendly, and the welcome is second to none. Î have visited quite a few dance schools around the country. Dance with Me is the only place I keep coming back to.

I saw a FB ad when the studio first opened. I signed up for a class, thinking it would be my first and only lesson. I was wrong. Ive never been known for my coordination, but the team of instructors has helped me to develop skills I didnt know I had. Dance is my new addiction. Love this place, the staff, and my new dance family!

Its been over a year since my last review of Dance With Me Woodlands so I thought I would provide an update. Unlike other activities Ive engaged in (gyms, Jazzercise, other aerobics classes, etc.) this one has stuck. I attend more than I did when I first started; instead of it getting old; it just gets better and better. I worked for many years and retired a year ago. For something that was not on my list of things to do, it is without a doubt the best thing I have been a part of my entire life. I look forward to being in the studio and always have a smile on the commute there. If you want to experience one of the best feel-good environments, give them a call and try an introductory lesson. I dare you to not have a good time (it wont happen.....trust and believe).

DANCE WITH ME -WOODLANDS IS INCREDIBLE!!!! All of the Instructors are amazing!! The staff and instructors are most uplifting. It’s such a wonderful and positive place!! Try it!! It will certainly enrich your life in so many ways!!

Its my dream to take dance classes at DWM studio. I was hoping and wishing they would have one here in Texas. And when I found out that they was opening up one in the Woodlands I knew I have to take classes at push myself to the best dancer I can be.

Dance instructor Eric made it fun and challenged us as we built proficiency. The wife and I had a blast! Definitely recommend!

Great place! Its fun and spontaneous. You learn very basic steps and you chose what you would like to learn. Nothing at all like other studios.

At last, Im learning how to dance with my wife! She loves coming here and I love that Im becoming strong and, dare I say it, graceful.
