Ok so first!!! The location is gorgeous. I believe the owner was there when I went and she was a huge help. She consistently came around to offer refreshments during my service and I’m a shy girly but she was so warm. I had a few questions and was interested in getting my lashes done as a walk in. They helped me get my nails and my lashes done at the same time in one sitting. It was so calming and relaxing. The lashes were the most comfortable I ever had! No red eyes or burning after service and she was so thorough in making sure my lashes stayed on. The prices were amazing! I spent around $180 for gel nails, a gel pedicure, and my lashes. This is before the tip. I loved the services so much I brought my little cousin back the following week! She said they did the cutest set she’s ever had. These ladies are bomb and service was amazing!!! Def must go. I traveled from Carteret just because their response time on instagram really made me want to try this business. My nails are still in tact 3 weeks later with no lifting.
My experience here has been traumatic on 2 occasions:First pic is the most recent set, Last pic is the removal of the set they did in the past.In the past they gave me fungus. I called and spoke to the owner about it she insisted there was nothing she can do , and did not even offer me a partial refund. Fast forward to now I thought I would give them another chance because everyone deserves second chances right? WRONG! I went for a Gel-x set that I had inspo pictures for. I specifically asked for tapered square , immediately after the Gel-x application I noticed it was coffin instead of square. Brought it to their attention, and there was nothing they could do to get my desired shape so instead of leaving I decided to stay and get acrylic instead. So the gel-x was removed and acrylic was applied. Completely frustrated because of the time I spent, the language barrier between the nail tech and I , and constantly having to coach her and asking her to fix something. In the end I was not satisfied, but I took my L. Sets done, I go to pay and the receptionist tells me that I would have to pay for a soak off and the set. Baffled , I insisted I was not going to pay. She then calls the owner , and the owner is insisting that I wasted products and that I would have to pay for the soak off which was $15 + $50 that I would pay for this VERY BASIC SHORT SET!I again told her that I would not pay for a soak off, essentially that would be me paying for their mistake. How does that make any sense. Acrylics have been very damaging to my nails but I had to settle because they were not able to give me the desired shape that I wanted. Instead as a business owner you would think she would try to rectify the issue for wasting my time, and also money as I did NOT WANT an acrylic set !Please save yourself the trouble! Do not go here !
I came here with my aunt and omg. It’s amazing she took her as soon as she walked in. She didn’t schedule she was a walk in. They also had offered a drink which is amazing like Whatt, and the decorations are so bougey and the music is amazing. It’s so clean and zero complaints. And there prices are faboulous like I was suprised when it was only $25 for pedicure and $50 for acrylic I think.. lols either way it was amazing and great workers.
First is the inspo photo (which was submitted early in advance per book requirement but clearly they dont look at the photos nor confirm if they can or cant do the look) you can decide if my nails look even 50% similarAfter is the the grow out which the design...the pink color was sponged on but was charged for air brush look just the machine was never used on me....Also while getting my nails done, I told the receptionist & nail tech that my nails were overfill. I actually got up & washed my hands because the nail tech also applied the prep polishes on my skin and they started to burn. The photos show that my nails were overfill. Also during pedicure, the nail tech chipped my nail and had to apply acrylic.Very stressful experience at this establishment. Ill be going back to doing my own nails.
I went here Sunday I called twice before arriving, I was told they had a $25 full set. ON INSTAGRAM THEY HAVE A $25 promotion as well. I was told on the phone the price is $25 I walked in an asked about the French design because on instagram it says free French, however I was charged $15 on top of the 25 for the French , an then she charged me $10 for medium length an actually they ARENT MEDIUM THEY ARE SHORT . So in total I was charged $50 when on Groupon they have a $35 Xgel tips set. MY NAILS ARE Already LIFTING IF I WOULDVE WENT IN WITH ONLY $25 the actual SHOWN PRICE THEN WHAT ?? I WOULD NEVER GO AGAIN !! The owner is rude an she doesn’t care about customers. Again my nails are lifting they all have the lift bubble an that’s ridiculous it’s been literally 2 days 🙄🙄🙄 IT HASNT EVEN BEEN A WEEK AN THEY HAVE LIFT BUBBLES $50 for this is insane an not to mention only one coat of GEL polish $15 extra for one coat an my nails aren’t smooth at all there bumpy an it literally looks like beginner nails.… I won’t return
I’d like to leave a neutral experience, the services provided by the lash tech (Maria) and nail tech (lacy) were great highly recommend both. the promotions were true but unfortunately I arrived late. As a first time client usually service providers are kind accommodating, the owner who checked me out attempted to charge me a 40$ late fee for both appointments. I’d like to state it’s 15$ late fee online per appointment and I was charged 20 for both. I paid the first one but refused to pay the second one as I happened to be in the salon getting my first service. I happened to make a great effort to come from the city and they did not care. Also there’s a ridiculous amount of fees I would recommend paying cash. And ask about any additional changes because they’ll probably be outside the promotion.
Love this Salon. This is my new Salon. They did a phenomenal job and customer service was on point. Rubys energy was infectious. Great experience.
Was good but the girls just seem to rush you in and out even when they’re not busy AT ALL. I’d figure take your time with me but I got the opposite and less than two weeks later, my GEL is coming off almost every finger. I even asked her to put more base on my nails to keep the gel on - I can’t spend more money here. It’s too frequent of a return to do my nails. The colors don’t even match 🤦🏽♀️
Very spacious clean prices are very reasonable they do hair and spas they take cash app apple pay cash debit or credit card. They offer you something to drink while youre waiting. Seats are comfortable. Three TV to watch from. My niece gotten her pedicure and manicure done there for her birthday. They open 7 days a week walk-ins are welcome. Staffs are very respectful in there. So if you do live in Staten Island or feel up to traveling there I would recommend to all.
I love this little salon in Staten Island; it has a good vibe and a nice aesthetic & offers so many services. Especially love that it is black female owned and it feels great to be able to support another sister! But there are some things to be aware of && so I want to share my experience to help others. Here’s the skinny on this shop:Parking: the parking lot is sketchy and the metered parking can be tricky. I got a ticket during one of my visits even though i paid the meter through the app.Scheduling: on the website, there are lots of services to choose from and a wide range of available appointments. In person it’s more difficult to Walk in and get any service beyond nails or waxing. They mentioned that there was an option where you could get two services done at the same time, but I still haven’t been able to book that service, And when I asked in person, they were unable to accommodate it even though the shop did not appear to be busy. Buyer beware! If you book your appointment on their website, they will charge a late fee if you are not on time. I was 10 minutes late to my appointment and they charged me a $20 late fee!!!!!!Time: Be prepared to spend at least 2 to 3 hours in the shop if you are getting more than just your nails done. Disclaimer: I do tend to add designs to my nails, so it does take longer than the traditional service.Nails: The nails are bomb. They even give you a drink and refreshment while you get your nails done which I absolutely love. The nail techs are amazing that I have worked with, especially Lorena. They can do any design from Instagram, social media, etc. But they only speak Spanish, so communication can be a challenge. The pricing on the designs is not always consistent with what is advertised on the website. Even though the website says there’s a flat rate, I have been charged for bedazzled jewels, 3-D, French tip, etc. And if you aren’t extremely clear from the beginning, You can be surprised by the price at the end. For example, I paid $220 for a fill and a pedicure with a French tip and a basic mani Pedi for my six-year-old. By contrast, the previous service I had gotten was only $94 for the fill and pedicure, and the nail art was very similar.Taxes: taxes for the services at this salon can be very pricey. For example, the tax on a $200 service was $25. That is not including the tip. Be advised.Eyelashes: They offer a deal on Eyelashes for $50. Although it’s a good price, Eyelashes were not consistent with reference image that I showed the technician So I probably would not get that service again. All in all, this is a good shop and on the right day, you can have an amazing experience. I’m all about supporting black businesses and I recognize that it’s not always gonna be perfect so I try to give this place a little bit of grace. But I would avoid the online booking and discuss your price before you get your nails done so that you aren’t surprised in the end. Personally, I felt thrown off by the $20 late fee at a nail salon, especially being that I typically walk in without any issues. I spend so much money at the salon and have referred so many people to come in. I know a lot of people would not go to a shop that charges late fees by the minute, so to avoid that I’d say just walk in.
STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUSINESS IF you’re LOOKING TO GET ANY FILLERS OR LIPO SHOTS!!!! I spent over 2000 for fillers and chin contouring and this place robbed me of my money.. my fillers look terrible especially my lips they are so uneven.. false advertisement listed on the IG page… my lips look nothing like the picture of the Russian lips posted on the ig page… she said she could do them and failed… I kept complaining since day 1 and all was told was with time it will get better here we are over a month later and my chin contouring doesn’t even exist nothing changed… Only thing that happen with time was all my fillers dissolved and I look back to normal with no fillers in some areas of the lips making them deformed..I can’t wait to file my civil suit against them this week… see u in court soon!!I should’ve known something wasn’t going to turn out right when they asked me after my fillers to please not give a bad review on Google if I don’t like something contact her!Since asking for a refund now they never respond to my messages when I reach out
Nail techs are very good and professional. The owner is not, she’s very money hungry. Suppose to unwhining and in a therapy session with your nails, but my tech is being bombarded with questions and owner telling her to charge me for every little thing. Like just chill
I came across this nail/beauty salon on instagram where I was fooled by the great amount of followers they have; over 73K !?!I decided to book for needleless lip fillers, 1ML to be exact. The day of my appointment, I was so excited but my experience was a total disappointment. The receptionist was so great and lovely, very amiable. It went down hill when the lady working on my lips1. First thing she did was apply numbing cream to my lips as soon as I walked in.2. Did not even greet or properly introduce herself.3. I laid on the mat as directed and since it was my very first time I had a load of questions. I advised and told her I’m nervous. She was silent and ignored as if I was annoying her.4. She prepared her materials. Did not say a thing and was going to start the procedure right away. (Without even asking if I was feeling ok, if I had any questions, etc.)5. I noticed a needle coming towards my lips, and stopped her because I had booked for NEEDLELESSS FILLERS. I informed her and she literally sighed as if she was aggravated and said okay.. she put the needle filler away and took out the hyaluronic pen needleless syringes, etc.6. I asked what the diff between the two were, and again she ignored and said let me get started I need to focus and I’ll answer your questions later!7. BIG 🚩🚩🚩!!! I wish I would’ve gotten up and left!!! But I had made my deposit and was excited for the results.Throughout the process she wasn’t comforting at all! Making me feel shameful for moving and said they gone come out bad if you keep moving. Like who says that? Be professional please !After the procedure, I LOVED the instant results even tho they were very swollen. Then I was quickly devastated after 3 days where my lips were fully healed and all the swelling went away. Leaving my lips with no type of plump, no change, back to my reg lips as if I never got them done!!!Please do not book with this place !!! Very bad experience 🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩🚩Waste of my time and money!!!! I wish I had gone to a profession nurse or aesthetician!
I will start this off saying its my fault for not speaking up when i was there but im deathly afraid of confrontation.the customer service from Maria was amazing and the lady who did my brows was so sweet. my issue here is with the communication of what i wanted and my results with my lashes. The receptionist asked if i wanted short medium or large. confused with this question i just assumed medium. she then wrote the lash map she chose on a sticky note and told me to have a seat. fast forward to me opening my eyes after they are done and i am in shock when i see very voluminous lashes when i made an appointment for natural lashes. usually i would speak to the lash tech on what i want and show any inspo pics and then they’ll show me how some lengths would look on me…and i definitely didn’t feel that i had a say on what i got. its very disappointing because i wanted this to be my go-to place since i just moved to SI. again i should’ve spoken up but, overall the experience of a more detailed consultation atleast so they can know what i wanted wasn’t there.
Despite the great service the nail TECH provided I believe professionalism is something that must be addressed with all employees. After my pedicure, I asked to get a filling & the receptionist did a certain facial and proceeded to say mmm no. As a customer this made me feel as if I was getting the service done for free. I understand that I mightve not had an appoitment but rather than having this kind of reaction I wouldve rathered an explanation. On the other hand, prices provided over the phone arent exactly the price youll pay once you arrive. Over the phone I was told itd be a total of $54, once I went to pay I was told the total of $72 ( I was very detailed over the phone) after mentioning this my total went down to $63. Overall, I hope this serves as feedback for improvement.
Very elegant upper echelon vibes clean I was blessed to get my nails done by the owner she’s very attentive style & shape on point to the t & down to earth even if your going through something and need to get treated it’s a judgement free zone she was so understanding god bless her & her business I didn’t feel like people were talking about me like with the Koreans I’m coming back a true gem 💜✅❤️💕 Thanks LaRu
I got a duck nails set last week and this week my mail came off ??? When I go to the regular nail they last WAYYY longer just pissed me off 93$ for 1 week ????? Or you d.a ???-edit .you had a beginner doing my nails end of story ,why would I want to come back to a place that have people who is beginner Redo my nails if it already was bad the first time .
I visited this establishment prior to me going on vacation. They promoted an online special for acrylic nails. It was convenient because the location is close to my residence. I was very impressed when I walked in. The ambience was beautiful. However, I was surprised to see that I was the only customer there. The staff was friendly, and the owner let me know who would be doing my nails. There were two younger girls working at that time. I was switched back and forth between them. (One did my prep, and the other applied acrylic). As the tech cleaned my cuticles, I kept getting pricked. The other tech who applied my acrylic took about an hour to do so and file. As I was looking at my nails, the acrylic was extremely bulky and some parts of my nails wasn’t covered. I let the tech know I was not satisfied so far and she was very apologetic. She assured me that it would look better once she finished. There was tons of drilling, filing, and reapplying. After two hours I let her know that i appreciate her trying but the nails did not look good at all. The owner walked in passing numerous times and I let her know I wasn’t pleased as well. The owner was extremely nonchalant, and it didn’t seem like she cared at all. She was joking with the other techs and asked them what they wanted for takeout. At that point, I asked again for the nails to be soaked off. The owner said she would soak them off so the other tech can eat. This was very unprofessional. There was never an apology from her or any offer to fix the issue. This was extremely disappointing and they could’ve had a long time customer. It seems as if the younger techs were in training, and would apply their practice to anyone who comes in for the special. Reading the other reviews show that it didn’t only happen to myself. I hope this review helps a future customer and saves time as well.
Absolutely horrible customer service I do not recommend anyone to book with this salon. Even with a booking policy, refusing to apply a deposit to a completely open calendar and no specified technician is crazy. I wouldn’t even book online here just walk in.
I got my nails done here recently and for the price they charged the end result was very sloppy. The tips of the nails weren’t closed properly and the acrylic around the area was also done vary “hastily” and looks, again for the lack of better words sloppy. The finishing coat on the nails didn’t last long. I can see the marks from buffing the nail and it’s streaky. It’s been two weeks and it’s already lifting which has doesn’t usually happen. I wouldn’t go back or recommend.
The lady at the reception wasn’t very friendly but the one who did both my pedicure and manicure was nice for sure. She took her time with the pedicure, but the manicure was done pretty badly as you can see. The edges look really messy and she wasn’t able to fix it. Maybe the technicians need more training. The decor is beautiful which is a plus; just wish they put a layer of plastic wrapping on the pedicure sinks for hygiene reasons.
I wish I can give this place 10 stars the owner down to the staff is absolutely amazing there so welcoming and helpful I did my first ever set 5 weeks ago and my nails are still perfectly in tact Mohammed was so nice and did so good I’ll definitely be going back and definitely recommending to friends and family 😍😍😍
EDIT: Unable to respond to the owners response below — my point of the review was that I was NOT notified that my inspo picture that I UPLOADED when I booked my appointment at 2pm AND texted to the tech AFTER I notified her that I was running late and was told they would still see me, was not part of the deal.Again, I was not upset that I misunderstood the deal - I just would have appreciated if someone told me earlier that my inspo pic was not apart of the deal. That way I would have immediately canceled with enough time to service other clients and saved a 2 hour drive.BTW, I arrived at 6:27, and my appointment was for 6, not 40 minutes late. No worries, I’ll continue to stick to the superb Brooklyn service I received. I did submit my $22 deposit and it was a price well paid to know where I should never return to with this type of ‘professionalism’.Happy holidays to you too!live in Brooklyn and my regular nail tech was out. Someone recommended this place to me and I booked their Tuesday special. You are required to send an inspo pic — cool! I sent my deposit and inspo pic at around ~ 2pm. My appointment was for 6pm.I got there late (thanks to traffic) and they were still willing to see me which I was thankful for. But then I was informed that my selected photo was not part of the special.I don’t mind that I misunderstood the special and requirements, but it would have been nice if someone notified me that my inspo pick did not align before I drove almost 2 hours.
NO REFUND On my booking’s. When I spoke to the woman who was the manager at the front desk by phone she told me to book my appointments online she told me to book for each service. So I booked a pedicure and acrylic nails for myself, and for my daughter gel manicure. When you book online it charges you $20 for each reserved appointment. And that the money would be refunded after we made our appointments. So my daughter and I came and got our three services. We were there for four hours and everything was fine. When I asked for my refund from the booking which was three appointments, they said it would be refunded then, when I looked at my credit card statement, it had not been refunded, so I went into the salon, and spoke to the same woman, and they told me that I overbooked appointments and that my money would not be refunded. This is completely bad practice and I do not recommend anyone going there.
I like that the owner and receptionist are very friendly! The receptionist greeted me when I arrived. I was also offered tea, water or Moscato (which is a really nice touch). I liked that there is a book to sign and leave your number in case you leave something behind. This place has beautiful, clean decor. I came here for a gel mani and Pedi with a Groupon that I bought (very good price). I did not like that my manicurist didnt speak ANY English. I had to keep calling the hosts over to translate. So that was a little annoying but then again thats a lot of manicurist in other places that Ive visited as well. Although she did not clip my cuticles, sure did a beautiful job on my nails. She also did well with removing my built up callouses (dont judge me lol). Im new to gel but its only been 7 days and my gel is already chipped! 😩 IDK if something was not done correctly or what? Overall, yes I would come again.
I moved to Staten Island from Brooklyn this year and have been looking for a nail salon that is up to par with my nail salon in Brooklyn. Anyone I asked said they go to tomato nails so I tried them out. Huge mistake. Their products are cheap and caused me to have an allergic reaction. I found LaRu through instagram and I have finally found the nail salon for me! I made an appointment online and there was no wait when I arrived. The owner was extremely helpful in helping me pick which service suited my need. The environment is very laid back and chill. The decor is beautiful. I was also offered a refreshment which i thought was a nice touch. Its definitely on the more expensive side (only in comparison to other salons on the Island$ but I am used to it and prefer to pay a higher price for the service I received. My nails came out beautiful! Thanks to Andrea who took her time prepping my nails and is also detail oriented. Im excited to go back for the many services that they offer.
My new spot! I have been to MANY nail salons in Staten Island this was by FAR the best set of nails & service I have ever received. The prices are very reasonable & The salon is BEAUTIFUL & relaxing.I highly recommend. Andrea was my nail tech, can’t wait to go back for my fill in 😊
Buyers be aware. They charge you price online and then when you get there they add all these unnecessary fees. Online it said one price. I paid the deposit thinking all I had to pay was the difference from the deposit and when I got there I was charged double.
In an era where vendors are squeezing every nickel and dime (even pennies!) out of their patrons, especially during a pandemic, LaRu stayed true to their integrity and values client interaction and customer service. I had a wonderful experience my first time here, so my second time - I brought a friend. I had to wait a long time because it was understaffed, but understandable in a time like this. Lloyd made sure I was taken care of properly (he did the courtesy of cleaning my nails to hold me off until next time) :) and Ruby made sure to update me frequently. Jamella was also very sweet and professional while doing my pedicure. Its the small things that make customers come back and laud the business. I had another positive experience the second time, even if it wasnt what I needed to get done. They deserve all of the support. Unfortunately, I could not get my manicure but I will be back next time! Thank you for everything!
I purchased the $39 Groupon for hard UV gel nails medium length (normally $65). Please note, these are NOT acrylic (theyre actually better). The owner accommodated a last minute reschedule. She also let me use her charger since my phone died on the way and I needed to show her my Groupon. I was serviced by Princess who did an AMAZING job especially since I was in a rush. I informed her before she could get the polish on that shes my new nail tech as I didnt have to correct or guide her work one time.Refreshments are offered, its Black Owned with a diverse staff. There is no arguing, kids running around or ridiculous upselling. And they offer you a drink. Please if you use a Groupon, tip based of the full price. Its worth it. I didnt get a pedicure this time, however I did when they first opened and that as well was amazing.
The reviews are true the front desk lady/owner of the establishment is incredibly rude. I went here for eyelashes and wow these were the worst set of lashes I have ever seen. I spent my money on this set of eyelashes only to leave feeling embarrassed with the result. Im currently spending my time trying to remove this trashy job. Stay away from this store!Update: The owner who replied to this comment clearly doesnt recognize the customer who posted this comment considering the fact that they got all details about my appointment incorrect. Ms. Owner, if you dont recognize the commenter its ridiculous to create a full reply with flat out lies. Please get your business in order and learn how to interact with your customers. Your reply section to negative reviews is embarrassing...consider hiring someone to reply to these comments for you.
I want to say, Ive been to this establishment twice. Once for a facial which I loved and second for nails and lashes. My nails came out good but I will never go back to get my lashes done. I do believe the lash tech had no real experience. She kept getting glue in my eyes, I think she used too much glue because the lash extensions was literally glued to my eyelashes. They would not come off with olive oi or coconut oill and they pulled out my real lashes. Never again
Loved the decor. Hostess was great and attentive to all. Def love it is Black Owned. They served snacks and drinks for free. Would def go back But would try another pedicure tech next time, she was sweet but clueless as to how I wanted my toes done. They were not straight at all and she cut the sides as if getting rid of ingrowns which I do not have and made them look worst.
I love the decor it was welcoming and the vibe was great love that they are open late and on weekends reasonable prices. My only complaint is their chairs they are cute but not comfortable especially if you are short and trying to get your feet done. But overall i will recommend it here for all your beauty needs
I like this place a LOT! Some say Staten Island is not considered a borough, but LaRu puts S.I. on the map with a Crown! LaRus staff makes you feel welcomed;provides beverages & top tier salon services. My nails lasted;looked great and did I mention black owned? They have my 100% support
Every time l get my nails done here, l get compliments on how they look, even after they’ve started to grow out. The attention l get when l walk in is unmatched by any other nail salon l’ve gone to. I’m always offered water, coffee, tea, or something a little more adult to drink when I walk in. And all the techs are patient with me when l’m indecisive about what design l want lol. I am a big fan on this place!
Update: I’ve been here more than a few times now & black-owned experiences are just SO ELITE! Rubi is AMAZING - PERIODT!The experience is exactly what they advertise - amazing! Ambient, relaxing and the front desk host are always so attentive. My first dip powder set lasted less than a week - but I blame that on the amount of hand sanitizer i used while out and about during the Christmas holiday. Second dip powder set going strong 2 weeks - I’ve been home 80% of the time / so it wasn’t a quality issue.
Just had my first appointment and was very happy. Temperature checks, masks and social distancing practiced. Place is beautiful and clean. Staff was attentive, offering refreshments and answering all questions with check ins throughout the service. My feet feel and look pretty for vacation and I will definitely be coming back in the future.
First time here getting a manicure and pedicure. It was done by Cathy who took her time and did a beautiful job! Very clean and nice inside.
Girl…. We needed a space this!!! I come all the way from Queens for quality!! So elegant, professional and superb work. The owner is so sweet, you could tell her life was made for this. Thank You for always providing exceptional service when I book for my nail session 💕
I don’t know anything about salons, but what I can tell you is that the owner, Lloyd is good people! I was involved in a minor accident on the road with his wife, and when my auto shop quoted her a ridiculous price, Lloyd went out of his way to find one better. Idropped the cash off to him at this salon and it was a vibe! There is even a bar inside for the fellas to wait while your girl gets a butt lift. Go here!
So happy I found this place! Besides the obvious decor which makes this place so intriguing they are very friendly professional & clean!!! Offered me complimentary beverages when I sat down. I feel like no one does this anymore!! Ryan did a great job on my nails cant wait to go back!
I left with disgusting nails. Honestly done with this spot . The price is what a professional nail tech would charge yet the work is literally sickening to look at .Here’s an update a nail broke NOT even 10 hours passed. It looked so disgusting I cut it myself and now they’re short . 🤮🤮🤮if you’re looking for a job apply here because clearly u need no experience what so ever.
Love !! This place. They have everything in one spot, its so convenient.
Omg talk about clean .The gentleman has not stopped uv sanatizing everything. They are the most covid safe salon ive been in .Very professional, kind .Ruby spoke to me over the phone ato make appointments and i was running behind. Ruby still accommodated my daughters and i .I will be back for sure .
Ok so I don’t see any reviews on the fat dissolver probably because they delete it. But I got this about 3 weeks ago, and rigorously followed the aftercare directions (drinking lots of h2o) and there was absolutely no difference at all. Those pictures posted on their IG is either fake or photoshopped or stolen from another IG account. Save your money girls.
Great customer service. Clean and modern. Getting a Mani Pedi in a cool atmosphere listening to background music and/or watching a good movie while sipping on some light bubbly is why I consistently patronize the LaRu Experience! V
It was very relaxing. I could actually relax. The person who did my mani/pedi was very nice and sociable. The ladies that were there was very nice and professional but made you feel comfortable at the same time. Space is beautiful and welcoming.
The place is cute. I got there on time and we finished early
Been there before and loved it. Just tried to schedule and had gotten an error message off their scheduling page. So I called and tried to see they can help. After being on hold 3 times got told pretty much they can’t help so I should try and book another day. I did tell her I tried numerous days. Guess I should go somewhere else now. Pretty upsetting
I booked service according to website price. after I payed my deposit I was quoted a different price that was triple the original price unfortunately I could not afford the price and I requested a refund. I was declined a refund. Beware of prices posted on website. I will dispute with the bank accordingly.
Not too much variety in design or style .prices are low but so is the quality of the gel nail polish. Just got it done and the color is coming off. I rather go somewhere else
WORST EXPERIENCE EVERI’m fine with trying to communicate with someone who speaks English as a second languageBut when miscommunication turns into me having to pay for services I did NOT request!!?!!!? WTH?!And on top of that FOUR HOURS?!?! To STILL LEAVE WITH NY NAILS LOOKING WORSE THAN WHEN I WALKED IN?! Then the owner makes it seem like I’m WRONG for wanting at least my nail to not look CHEWED before I LEAVE. Unbelievable!!!!I have never been so disappointed by a business enough to argue for a refund and leave such a harsh review, I’m all for supporting local businesses but this experience was traumatic.
Everyone is very friendly and professional. Clean. Comfortable. Attention to detail with every customer. If you want Fantasy design or just regular nails extension, this is the place to go!
Got my nails and a pedicure done on Sunday, January 9, 2022. I really do like them. I noticed that I loved what I got cant get it no where else.. [ type of gel]
The salon itself is beautiful and clean. The stag follows Covid guidelines, it’s sanitary. The stag was wonderful and efficient. Overall it was a fantastic experience
I love the nail tech. They do official work, but the only thing is they are a little rough on the cuticle. Nice designs, good nail shape.
I had an amazing experience. Nadine provided the best pedicure I ever had. She was very attentive and made me feel special.
