Paradise Island

Went to visit a friend in S.I. and we came here for some drinks. I loved that its by the water. They had music and a space for dancing, which is cool. It had a laid back vibe. The Fried Calamari and Coconut Shrimp were very good. The menu has a lot to choose from. The service is good. The beers were a good price and the Jameson was an average price. I would go back again if in Staten Island.

Good food, Good service and Good Ambience.It will be little humid outside in summer, but you need to sit outside to enjoy the views.Their sea food starters are really awesome.Must Try- Garlic Shrimp

This time I didnt get to eat there but the service was great and the ambiance was beautiful. This is a nice family run business they make you feel very comfortable.I was there for a hustle dance which was amazing!

Excellent fast service. Excellent atmosphere and view. Great date nite steak special. The rice balls were killer. Chicken Francese was top notch. Wasn’t crazy about the salmon but overall this place is a hidden gem. Very large menu. The Banana bread pudding is also amazing. There was no Trump flag displayed at Ruth says. I wish I had seen one, I’d have tipped heavier.

I had my son’s 1st birthday party here and it was amazing. Everything from the room to the food to the service was awesome. Lisa was so helpful throughout the whole process she helped my vision come to life and the day was perfect! Vinny Steve and Lisa are amazing I can’t wait to come back !

The staff (valet, hostess, wait staff, bussers) were super nice and friendly. It was nice to be met with smiling faces and helpful attitudes. The dipping bread they brought out was insanely delicious. I had the eggplant parm sandwich and it was huge and sooo good. This place is pretty big and it overlooks the water and boats. It was cloudy when we went, but you could still see the sun rays peeking through the clouds, so I can imagine this having a lovely view with clearer skies. We ate outside and although it was hot and ridiculously humid, the cabana we sat at had a ceiling fan, so that and the breeze from the water really made it a million times more tolerable.

A great marina with bar food, plenty of parking and a great atmosphere. Staff is a little hard to get ahold of and food was average. Definitely a cool spot to hang out at night. Do not recomend the lobster bisque but the hot lobster roll was awesome!!!

Great spot, great bartenders, and I met the Promoter Tom, he was a great person. I went there on a rainy night, the place is outdoors, I am looking forward to going another night when the weather is good......music was Fantastic, they had a live drummer as well as a great DJ.....

Great food,service excellent, security very professional! Had a nice relaxing dinner.Then danced the night away..bar tenders and waiters excellent! Lucky in the house!!

Excellent bar with quality of drinks. The white russian they make is amazing. The food is nicely prepared to complement the drinks. Nice Djs for having fun, and you can have a gathering and talk to one another. The staff is professional and polite. Will visit this place again in the future.

This place was fantastic!!! The DJ was great, the people & wait staff were friendly and the food was great! The beautiful sunset was a bonus! I’ll definitely be coming back!

Did a show here the venue was really good they have multiple areas to hold different events with a sound proof boarder that keeps the events separate. You can see in the video what I mean. Overall a really fun atmosphere and if you like water you can look out and watch the sunset.

Was there for an engagement party, room was too small for the amount of guests. The salad and pasta were served, but the main course was buffet style, there wasnt enough room to walk passed the line to get back to your seat. They served chicken franchaise, chicken tenders, fries, sausage and peppers, and chicken parmesan. THEY RAN OUT OF FOOD!!!!!! They ran out of clean dishes, the water glasses on the table had lipstick on all of them when we arrived. We had to ask many times for grated cheese for the pasta. When dessert was ready, also buffet style, they didnt even serve coffee. You had to get it yourself. The only thing I can say positive about the evening was that the view is beautiful and the drinks from the bar were good.

Kudos! To Management/Owners for hiring and retaining the utmost Professional Security Team. Each Security Officer TRULY cares, acknowledges you. i.e. Do you need anything? Feeling well? and the alike. I have been to Paradise on a few occasions and NEVER has any of the Wait Staff, Security wavered. Thank you for all each of you do. BTW All played dishes well received - Nice job to chef & kitchen team.

Im sad to say but The food was mediocre ! Very good service, the waitress and waitress were really friendly and good but I dont recommend the food.

Unfortunately our excitement to try this new place for our anniversary ended quickly. After being seated inside, we were asked if we would like to sit outside, as the waiter felt it was hot inside by the window and the place was empty. Not even sitting 2 minutes and a very rude waitress approached and said we could not eat outside. As I tried to explain to her that a waiter offered us to eat out there, She again rudely said absolutely not. So absolutely not was I going back and forth like a yoyo. So we left before even looking at the menu and will not be going back.

Don’t really know much about the food and service, but they had Trump flag, we left.

Went for wife birthday dinner 7/22. Got there at 7:30pm. They had a live band that was so loud that the guy checking us in couldnt even hear me. Had to eat outside because inside conversations were impossible. Never saw anything like that at dinner time. Outside was subjected to cigarette and cigar odors at times. Service not great and our server rarely came to check on us. Took a long time to pay. Food was OK but expensive and portions not overly generous. I liked it better when it was Waterside.

Unequivocally one of the worst experiences Ive ever had at a restaurant, quite literally anywhere in the world. Today is Mothers Day, but we were seated after docking our boat. At the beginning, the young woman serving us spilled a tray of drinks on me, which I am not too upset about because things happen. She is learning and definitely needed more guidance and support from her managers before being ready to serve. However she was kind and apologetic, and I do not fault her much for the rest of our experience.With a party of 8, all of our food came out at different times. Not merely a couple minutes, but over 20 minutes. By the point that the remaining food had come out, the manager decided to act childish and tell us he would be voiding our check and told us to never come back. Our complaints were merely addressing that the food was cold, beers were warm, and half our table had not been given their food. At no point did we speak aggressively to the manager until he decided to become irate and blow off our entire table. In my years of travel and dining I have never experienced such an unreasonable manager that couldnt handle a relatively easy to fix complaint.We had many friends who ate there earlier as well that noted that the food was not worth the trip but had decided not to mention anything to management. If you cannot accommodate more tables, simply tell people there is a wait to avoid providing a terrible experience. I can be sympathetic to a degree as someone who has worked in hospitality before but the behavior of this manager was completely uncalled for. We are part of a boating club and will let our friends know that this establishment should be crossed off the list of places to enjoy a break from a ride. Incredibly sad that a place in a prime location with so much potential is so poorly managed. To the owner, I would recommend actually training your manager as he has a temper and apparently cannot handle simple complaints. We tipped the young woman who was just extremely kind and apologetic because she is not responsible for his behavior, but you all need to do better.

AAA+++ great Food, great customer service and fast. Good place to your family & Enjoy the ocean view.

The low life bold bouncer at the front door stole $100 from me never going there again.

I couldnt even give it a star. Same as others, food was horrible. My friend ordered a steak and it was all fat. She sent it back and nothing was said. We get the bill and they charged us for it. The owner came out and was rude. He said they get people returning food all the time so they have a no return policy which is odd. I told him people return the food because the food is horrible. He had his bouncers come over which was the funniest thing. You can get a better meal at White Castles

NYE 2023/2024 was spectacular!Dinner was served promptly; upon entry. Cocktails were flowing with genuine enthusiasm for all to have a Happy New Year!The DJs were so pumped and dance floor was full. Balloons and streamers added to our evening.I am very grateful to everyone on Team Paradise for your attentiveness.Kudos! To the Owners, Chefs, staff and all Bartenders.Thank you all, again.

The food was decent, portions on appetizers were a little skimpy. Atmosphere is nice overlooking the water and marina. The parking lot is not great, all gravel and not good for heels, and I’m not a fan of valet. The service wasn’t the best. Waiter couldn’t be found.

From the first time my husband and I went we were treated like family, service is great. Food is delicious. We have been here as a party of two, we have brought larger groups and last night had a party of 50. Every single person working there was amazing. Special thanks to Steve and Lisa!

Lets start off it was later in the evening on mothers day and the crowd was dying down. So there was no excuse for poor service. Our party of 8 drinks came out wrong and warm. We ordered some appetizers and entrees. When half of the food came out it was cold. We asked to speak to a Manager. When he came over and we tried to explain the multiple problems with dinner he immediately lost his temper and told us to leave and walked away. He did not want to hear any of the multiple problems. I have been to many restaurants in my life and never had such a childish and unprofessional response in my life. We also knew 2 other larger parties there today which had a similar experience with cold food and incorrect orders, but they did not want to ruin there experience with their wives and mothers, so they did not complain. I will never return to this place and will explain in great detail to many people how this place operates.

What a refreshing place to go to on Staten Island. I went there with some good friends - who heard it had new management and worth checking out. Definitely did not disappoint and we got so much more than we expected. Food was fantastic but the fun atmosphere was so unexpected. There’s a community/friendship and nightlife vibe there perfect for a girls night out. I will also bring my husband here for a nice dinner with a relaxing view. Would definitely recommend going with a group or a date night!!! PS recommending the drunken clams! Loving the name and the taste was yum!

Food is regular, service is trash and u get Staten Islands top jerks in the crowd

Was a little pricey. Food was delicious but everything was Ala carte . Should offer some specials especially for lunch instead of same pricing as dinner . Value was not on par with other similar restaurants. Service was great and views were really nice from outside patio.

Terrible food and service. Animal Burger was super dry and very well done even though I ordered it medium. Had a single slice of avocado and a single strip of bacon on it. Not worth $18 whatsoever. Waitress basically disappeared and couldn’t even get a glass of water. Valet brought the wrong car. Don’t come here.

Went to this restaurant on the Friday after Thanksgiving at about 6:30 PM. The parking lot was completely empty, not a good sign for a restaurant. My husband said we should find another restaurant, but I decided to try it, the 1st time there.we wanted to find a restaurant that was in the neighborhood we live in. Very odd being the only 2 customers in the restaurant. I ordered stuffed flounder and he ordered broiled filet of sole. Our food was delivered about 30 minutes after being ordered(another bad sign)when the kitchen could not be busy(only customers). Both dishes had no taste whatsoever. At this point, we decided to leave, eating only a couple of bites. I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. On a scale of 1-10, we both would give this place a 1. The manager came over, but we were done. He offered another meal but we refused, being it would probably be another 40 minutes or more. Went home and ate there. NEVER will be back.

What a great girls night out for Cinco DeMayo… food and drink were excellent.. our server Matt was Amazing!!! We had dinner and then stayed for the both DJs.. which had the whole place up DANCING.. played great music all night long!!! Will definitely be visiting again through the summer!! I was told it was under new management.. Good luck to Steve.. he and his staff are doing a great job!!

The food from start to finish was Impeccable!!! I almost forgot I was still in Staten Island…. The ambiance and the view were both breathtaking! The service was warm and inviting….. I cannot recommend any establishment more highly….

I find myself keep going back to paradise island . The food is delicious . The place has an amazing atmosphere. The wait staff is very attentive . They have great events .Yhid is a hidden gem located on Ellis street in the port Atlantic marina . I would recommend anyone to go and try it .

The owner/manager was absolutely off-putting and immature. Cursing in front of and threatening customers. A defensive and immature individual that will deter many from revisiting.

Paradise Island is the best restaurant on staten island. The food is excellent the staff are friendly,the service is great.I enjoyed the music and the beautiful view I totally recommend this restaurant you will feel like you are away on a paradise island.

Horrendous

Well where do I even start? No one at this club is under the age of 55. The music is absolutely terrible. They might as well hold a mic up to a car radio that’s blasting 70’s on 7 because that’s what the so called DJ was playing all night. The best was that there were 7 security guards in a space that was at best 20 ft wide and long. The service was not bad in the beginning. The wrong order was brought out to me, which was okay. But then I waited 40 mins for a drink while eating. I was served chili peppers instead of my drink. If they want to do better, I would attract a younger demographic because I saw a lot of people leaving because of the atmosphere.

Great place, and can dock and dine by boat.
