I’m not a margarita guy but Jody lured me in her special margarita. It’s also margarita Monday so they’re half off. Service was impeccable as normal and my friend (whose first time was here) was also very pleased.
8 of my coworkers went there after a conference meeting (all black) when we arrived all the worker were huddled around laughing. We sat ourselves and begin to order as we ordered we started to fill our liquor a bit and asked several times if they could turn up the music we were the only ones in the entire bar the entire time they acted as if we weren’t there. Made our entire time there extremely uncomfortable as if we weren’t wanted there to the pointe we just left. This place may have a different vibe at night but if your black and come in the day time I suggest you go to the place next door!
$18 drinks , I started sweating after being in there for 5 minutes. The vibes are off beat like the musicDo not go to bachat event - rude male instructors. He wanted us to learn sign no woman , had to walk out after he continued to give an attitude
**Beware of Hidden Fees and Poor Service at Fuego**I had a troubling experience at Fuego this past weekend. At the upstairs bar, a bartender charged me automatic gratuity without any transparency, despite Californias new law requiring clear disclosure of such fees as of July. Initially, she quoted $63 for three shots of Jameson, but after my hesitation, she revised it to $48 and showed me her tablet reflecting that amount. (She showed me all her taps which did not display the final amount which felt very shady). However, when I went to pay, the total was $63. It wasn’t until the tipping screen appeared that I discovered the automatic gratuity was added. Im very familiar with the system Toast which is how I found out she added automatic gratuity. I had to ask her myself if she added and how much it was or else she would have never informed me. This lack of upfront transparency is unacceptable.Additionally, the shots were under-poured—only 1oz each instead of the standard 1.5oz to 2oz, which is also frustrating considering the high price. When we questioned her about the amount, the bartender even pour the shot into her measuring tool to show us it was 1oz. She clearly did not know we worked in the same industry therefore knew better. This combination of hidden fees and subpar service ruined my night. I strongly advise others to be cautious and check their bills carefully at Fuego. I took my receipt too in case i do decide to report this to DCA and I realized that even on the receipt it doesnt show automatic gratuity on it. It just shows it as a regular tip.Transparency needs to be upheld despite the new law in place. I felt scammed despite my multiple attempts for clear transparency with the bartender. I hope to get this resolved before further action is taken.
Reserved a vip table for $1000 they said it would come with a bottle and would be able to get 8 people in for free with the vip I had to wait in line after telling them I had a vip table and still got charged the cover fee. the waitresses were completely clueless and said that the 1000 is just to reserve the table and I would have to pay for a bottle and then had me walking around the entire club and standing around while they found me a vip table worst club experience in my life do not recommend. Also the owner is a Colombian dude and is not helpful at all literally is just a crook that wants to rip people off
Bartender didnt know what good service is at all. Worried about her regulars who she definitely over served and didnt take the time to greet and get refills for new guests in a timely manner.
Super excited for football season to begun again. Im always at the bar with Jody or aysia or rachel. Happy hour on Sundays for modelo and boneless wings.
Super Bowl Party...I had a great time with all who attended. All employees were helpful and friendly. The Salmon, mashed potatoes and steamed veggies meal tasted very good. Definitely a must, if you are unsure of what to get. Try the Ceviche...had them add more jalepenos. It was a nice kick!If you are looking to host an event, the upstairs is comfortable and roomy.Go check it out!
Fuego in downtown Sunnyvale offers indoor & outdoor dining. Fortunately they have heat lamps out around the outdoor tables & tents as well to keep the birds at bay. The food was good & the menu selection offers a wide variety. We had shrimp ceviche, fajitas, sliders & a plant based burger. All our entrees were very flavorful & we also enjoyed a selection of beer & wine from the happy hour menu that runs from 4-7pm. They also offer a selection of 1/2 price appetizers. I would definitely dine there again.
On Saturday I was eating at the restaurant and then we went to the night club which I loved because they played the best Latin music in the bay area.
Summary: Decent restaurant that serves a variety of drinks, appetizers, and food. Ample outdoor seating and friendly staff. Food is what you’d expect at a sports bar, good but not mind blowing. Come here if you want to drink and eat food. This is a sports bar experience (but outside due to Covid). The Drinks:They have a variety of drinks. A little pricy, but this is California. I recommend the Jalapeño Margarita which is incredible (and spicy). They also make a good old fashioned. The food:They serve a variety if American foods as well as a section for Mexican food. I would say the Mexican food is normal 7/10. I ended up having a Hamburger and my wife the Fajitas. If you come here, you’re probably better off trying the Americanized dishes. The Location:Great location in downtown Sunnyvale. Due to Covid, everything is outdoors and they have plenty of space. The bathrooms are clean and service is fast. Plenty of parking.Overall, 7/10
All the bartenders have made me feel right at home, I love coming here especially on Mondays
Summary: great staff, very kind, good food. As for the menu, large enough selection. Full review: The menu is large with drinks and desert. The food is tasty for me, but you might think different. The staff are kind and enjoyable, while they are also very good at their job. I cannot review the bar since it is closed and Im not allowed to drink, but as for the restaurant, full stars!(also, free shade!)
Walked in sat down and waited 20 minutes before anybody acknowledged me I actually had to flag a waitress down to help me. The jalapeno poppers were horrible overcooked to the point there was no cheese left.
We went to Fuego a couple of weeks ago. They presented a spanish cover rock band for Enanitos Verdes. What a disappointment.Problems:Service,My friend paid for a vip table and the hostesses were completely not in tune and did not give us the table were had reserved, we had to sit on a different table. Paid $450 for a bottle of white patron because to keep the non refundable table we were forced to buy a bottle of alcohol. Total rip off.My friend also called ahead and asked if we could bring our own wine and pay a corkage fee, she was told of course. The waitress did not honor a corkage fee so we had to buy a poor quality tequila.Safety:I walked in with two bottles of wine (because on the phone we were assured a corkage fee was ok). Not one person asked me to open my bag. As a matter of fact there was nobody checking anything. The place is unsafe because you can introduce anything you want and nobody will check you.The emergency exit located by the stage was blocked by chairs, good luck to patrons and staff in an emergency.Food:We ate at the bar and ordered a burger and salmon. My vegetarian burger arrived but the salmon did not so when we asked the bartender she responded we are out salmon, she forgot to let us know they were out of salmon. My friend had to change his order to chicken instead and wait for it as I ate my burger. So we ordered hummus for my friend while he waited for the chicken, the hummus was extremely salty, it was the worst hummus I have ever tried, told the bartender how awful it was and she just shrugged and dismissed us.I do not recommend Fuego as a safe venue or a place to have a decent meal.
I never do reviews but for this place I really felt the need to do so. A group of friend and I decided to go celebrate a birthday so we signed up for the guest list(no cover fee) but you had to get there before 11. My friends and I got in line like at 10:13 and they weren’t letting people in. They started letting people in after 11 purposely so that everyone would have to pay a cover. We waited in line over an hour and when we got inside it was empty, so why weren’t they letting people in? We decided to go in anyway and pay. I got a drink at the downstairs bar and paid $22 and when I went to the upstairs bar, for the exact same drinks I paid $31 and weirdly enough they were only taking cash. They play really good music and it’s a really chill environment but it’s a SCAM!
Weakest pretzel I’ve ever had.Live music was great, though and the service was good.
Good food and atmosphere. Great place to hang out, or catch a game.
The manager lady is very rude and belittling. no matter how many times you come to this place she will do whatever she can to squeeze money out of you. they say “no cover before 6” , and if she feels like charging you at 5:30 she will do so. she yells and insults her waitresses, and talks to everybody, including her customers, with zero respect. i understand that when it comes to drunk or obnoxious patrons, but she is that way with everybody. it is a shame because it is a great environment with decent food , but i would advise anyone to avoid this place at all costs because the manager will ensure you have a terrible time. dont believe me ? go and see for yourself.
Even if you get there at 10:30, they wont let people in until 11 so they can charge a 20$ cover. Not that many people inside either.
Visited this place to watch a huge boxing match, and was not let in by the manager. In fact, she said with a big smile on her face that she could not let me in because the event was “sold out.” She almost enjoyed rejecting me and further made insulting remarks belittling me, and making fun of the fact that I could not enter the bar to watch the fight. She also did this to others that showed up to the front door. Interestingly, after chatting with a few locals, I found out that the manager is known for her rude, sadistic behavior, and had been doing this sort of thing for a long time. I would recommend all to stay away from this bar until the manager learns how to respectfully treat people in a respectful manner.
Food was okay. The potato wedges seemed delicious when they came, but they were cold and possibly had just been warmed up.They have a ton of TVs, so likely they will have the game showing. They even had a South American qualified PPV game on for free.Theres a 20% tip already included in the bill which was excessive, but service was good.
Place has potential but poor ventilation does not make for good nightclub experience.
A group of 8 Black women decided to hang out at your establishment and was treated with the upmost disrespect.
Service was amazing and when we spilled (our fault), they got us more food.
Guest list IS A SCAM HEREYou supposedly get your name on the list so you dont have to pay before 11 but they dont even let you in UNTIL 11. Twice Ive been here, once I got in line at 10:40 with only 5 people in front of me and the line didnt move until 11. I thought it was because it was packed inside but as soon as I went inside I just saw like 5 other people.Tried this again a second time and got in line at 10:20! There were about 30 people in front of me but yet again, NO ONE was let in until 11, which at that point you have to pay $20. Owner just stands outside and lets in VIP people which are either people he knows or people who have bottle service. He claims that all of those people have to go first- and fine I get it. But no one was in the VIP line for 20 mins and yet no one from the guest list could get in. Then they say they’re holding the line because it’s “full”, then you walk in and there’s literally like 5 people inside. TOTAL SCAMIm done supporting this place.
Recently when for a dance night to this place. Its pretty fab out there. There is also outdoor seating for any who wanna escape music for sometime. I would rate it for its coziness.
This place will charge you $20 for only entering for drink, which doesn’t make sense.
The bouncers at Fuego are really unprofessional and extremely stupid. I went to Fuego for the Bollywood Beats Party on Aug 25 for my birthday celebration. I had to step outside for a couple minutes to help a friend as he was feeling nauseated. The bouncers wouldn’t let me enter again to contact the rest of my group. They were being extremely unreasonable, and made threats by flashing lights right at my face. One of them made racist comments as well.Such conduct would easily qualify as a fireable offense in most work places. Fuego please note that your workplace has such unprofessional, stupid and racist bouncers treating guests extremely poorly. I’m urging you to make a change to such staff.
Owner was very rude. A group of us got a table with bottle service which was $900 on top of that we had to pay entrance with a total of $250 when the owner said it would be 8 free with bottle service. Never going back again
Super friendly staff, great food and great vibe and atmosphere!
Very impressive Sports bar and club. Visited here for a party. There is very nice outside seating on the 2nd floor. Large dance area, nice bar area and also there is a stage for performers. Had a good time.
Fat margarita pitchers that went down smooth.
They are wasting time on purpose. They advertised free entry if you got here before eleven. They are on purpose letting the time run out. We have waited for longer than one hour. No one has entered.Update: one beer is 12 bucks.
Wow, and not a good Wow. So we just left the restaurant and lets just say the place is not true to its name, Fuego it is not! We had burnt Fajitas, Mushy and hard rice (now that takes talent). My son had a spicy pepperoni pizza when we order a cheese. My other son ordered sliders with only Ketchup and Mustard and it comes drenched in Mayonnaise. Ordered a side of mustard to try to Salvage the sliders and never got that. We let our server know and switched to a cheese pizza. We received our cheese pizza with a side of Hair. Not just one hair but someone better invest in hair net. Told the server it took forever to settle the bill. The Manager came out and said Ill take 25 off the bill. Really, $25 off my bill?!?!?!?! Its late and I have to go feed my son something because the restaurant I paid to cook for us couldnt get it together. Im sorry but thats ridiculous! I shouldnt have had to pay for anything that wasnt cook correctly. In a time where we are asked to support Local how about keeping your end of the bargain and cooking a decent meal and Ill support you!.
Nice service and variety of drinks for st patricks day
Burger was good but service was lacking. It took a long time before my server ever showed up. I ordered the Ortega burger but got the one with blue cheese. I was going to send it back but I was really hungry and it turned out good but wasnt what I wanted. I had empty drinks for long periods of time. That said, there was ample screens for sports and a nice ambiance. I may go back but will certainly sit at the bar rather than wait for a server.
Came here for a happy hour with colleagues. The Nachos were great. Loved the garlic fries too.Great happy hour prices and selections.
The bathrooms smell really really bad and the service could be way better. Maybe under new management this place could have potential. But none the less I don’t think we’ll be coming back.
Jean is awesome. I was here for a Bollywood night. Jean was super friendly at the bar and made us feel very comfortable. I greatly appreciate Fuego for giving us a great bolly night. Thanks jean for the cool drinks :)
Do yourself a favor and avoid this Club. We were convinced to come here by the manager of this club. He offered free table, free guestlist and free champagne bottle for my friends birthday. We get there and we are made to wait 40 min in line even though we had our passes and reservation. We get in and are made to pay $20 each because free birthday guestlist is only until 11pm. Our table wasnt even ready and no bottle in sight.Place is too crowded, no AC, and long lines at the bars. Music was fun, but other than that this place is terrible.
One of the worst event experiences I’ve ever had; and a terrible way to start the new year. With tickets in-hand, reception purposefully slowed entry to all event-goers and made us wait in line for 2 hrs. Then rejected all tickets to the event and required additional cover charge to get in. At the front of the line the cover charge was raised by the manager (discovered they demand cash only with no ATM) so not a person in our party could get in. Happy New Year 🤗🤗
Had an awful experience at this location due to the Manager Letisia who was very loud and obnoxious. She made a scene while yelling at a hostess INCHES away from our table instead of providing constructive criticism in private she tried to break down the hostess by critiquing her physical appearance. The food is not worth the added gratuity the hosts include. On top of that for every drink they sell you they add a dollar to it ON TOP of the 20% gratuity. Went back in later that night for a bollywood event and she was still there BEING LOUD AND ANGRY! She made comments to the bartender about the place smelling like armpits the next day due to the amount of Indians that were occupying the bar at the time, SO hyrprocritcal. On top of that a hostess shared that the previous weekend a man overdosed in the level 2 club and it wasnt the first time. This place is garbage with bad energy in this place.. DO NOT COME because the angry manager makes this an awful experience and the rip off of money isnt helpful.
Amazing Latino club. Great music, great crowd, affordable drinks
I had the guacamole with nachos as a starter and it was excellent! I really enjoyed sitting outside and scoping up the delicious avocado. The steak itself was okay: it was charred and slightly burnt — Im not the biggest fan of that, but I know some like it like that. The service is great, friendly and quick.
Went there couple of times on Fridays or during some happenings over there. I think the fish taco is one of their specialties and fajitas are must have items. Keep a little more time in hand before coming here. There are chances to get carried away by the atmosphere inside it with more and more shots. Also, as usual, like to shout out for their wings in different sauces which all you need to ask for.
DO NOT COME FOR NEW YEARS OR ANY HOLIDAY PARTY. Bouncers delayed letting people in until they could charge covers. Poor business practices just to make money. Atmosphere is poor as well once we got in. Drinks are overpriced and the music is dated. I cant believe Fuego let a management company this poorly managed run an event out of their building.
*** update *** I understand they have changed manager and are now much better - worth another chance - I will change my rating once I re-visit ---I cant fathom why Fuego would hire the manager Letisia that bankrupted the place down the street which is now Off the Rails: awful customer service and relations.
I never do reviews but for this place I really felt the need to do so. A group of friend and I decided to go celebrate a birthday so we filled out the no cover fee for but you had to get there before 11. My friends and I got in like at 10:13 and they weren’t letting people in. They started letting people in after 11 purposely until 11 so that everyone would have to pay a cover. We waited in line over an hour and when we got inside it was empty, so why weren’t they letting people in? We decided to go in anyway and pay. I got a drink at the downstairs bar and paid $22 and when I went to the upstairs bar for the exact same drinks I paid $31 and weirdly enough they were only taking cash. Yeah they probably pocketed the difference plus the tip. The service was HORRIBLE! They play really good music and it’s a really chill environment but it’s a ripoff and a scam ! Don’t say free cover before 11 and not let people in until after and don’t have the same prices at both bars !
Great live music 70s, 80s, 90s
This bar is blasting music extremely loudly on a Sunday afternoon through the whole Murphy street, severely affecting the dine-out experience at nearby restaurants.I came to eat at k-tea across it with my two young kids, and it essentially feels like sitting in a nightclub!!Please consider tuning down the music a little bit on Sunday afternoons. :( :(
Dont get up to go to the restroom or the bartender Roberta will bump you down the road to accommodate other customers. That is the first time in 15 years Ive ever had a bartender relocate me to accommodate other patrons they were already seated at the bar in another spot. Then to get laughed at by the patrons I was relocated for as she laughingly explained why I was relocated was humiliating.
Love Fuego! Myself and my fiancé go at least once a week. The food is great, beer selection 10/10, service is excellent, and they do great specials!
Love this place! The owner of Tarragon revamped the place into an awesome sports bar with lots of TVs, great happy hour (4-7pm daily), and awesome servers. This is the spot to watch all the games!
#1 gathering place for a night out in South Bay. Amazing atmosphere upstairs with great music and drinks. Fun place to watch sports, and the food is great as well! Highly recommend!
Great place to watch the game. Good selection of beers... we had the burgers and they were outstanding, will try the tacos next time... the guacamole appetizer was very good also... service was good, and place was clean...
First time here.Had steak fajitas...meat was tough.Fish tacos were okay.Service is very freindly.Venue is very clean and nice. Will come back again and try food again for second chance
$10 cover and auto-included 20% gratuity for terrible service (rude, slow, multiple mistakes on simple orders, etc.) and noisy environment. Food is decent, standard prices for the area not counting the gratuity and cover charge.
Easily the worst customer service Ive experienced in my 4 years in the bay area. Called to confirm they were playing my sport. Actually took 3 calls for girl to understand my question and confirm the answer after hanging up on me. Unfortunately after driving 20 mins to get there, they then confirmed only one TV could show that sport and it was busy (the place has 30 odd TVs). Lost a customer that has been there 8x. Horrendous, avoid at all costs
I went here for a Bollywood night on the top floor. It was pretty crowded. Awesome DJ. Lit vibes. Expensive shots.
Great food and cocktails this was a great place to go watch the game The Upstairs Lounge is very nice escape from the day-to-day.This is the place to watch the game or fight. Best screen distribution. If you are in Sunnyvale this is the place to be!!
Pairs my $10 surprised entry fee... And was shocked by the bad service. Single tech chick desiring to watch a good game, was Sat at a good seat, later to be yelled at by a hostess that THAT seat was taken! Really?? Go talk to the gorl who sat me. Have never felt to our of places . Desiring to participate in raffle, was told to go next door to cash machine because they only take cash for raffle tickets. Really?? We are in silicon valley for goodness sakes. I came here because of the raffles... Paid to get insulted and was denied credit card purchase. Haha. Do t go here gtils. Not for tech ladies with $$, to spend.BTW many raffle gifts still pending. Doubt they were honest about raffle.
SCAMMERS!! They will sell tickets for their own events on EventBrite then they won’t honor such tickets when you show up for the event. THIS IS A TOTAL SCAM!!!! If anyone else has had this happen to them, please contact me so that we can all take legal action against this locale.
Great place for drinks and food, just a wonderful sports bar. Leticia is a fantastic host, always a pleasure to visit and enjoy the atmosphere in Fuego.
Great ambience, friendly service and good drinks + appetizers make this an awesome place to go to relax with friends after a long day. Can get a bit loud so not the place to go for your date though.
A hazard to the local area. I work near here at night. I constantly see people leave here wasted, yelling, slurring their words, standing on their cars sometimes, and driving away. They need some serious security to watch the people in the back parking lot to prevent DUIs. Its honestly just so disappointing. Ive been here a few times, and they never cut people off when they should.
Drinks were great.
Watched adesnaya vs pereirra 2(ufc). Surprisingly adequate amount of waitresses taking a full houses orders.
Friendly service at a place with beer and munchies. Lots of big TVs to watch sports on and they occasionally have the UFC or boxing PPV on screen. This is the people who used to have the Firehouse that used to be across the street where Off the Rails is now.
Great ambiance and the food is delicious, not too expensive and the personnel is very friendly and super nice. We booked part of the second floor to watch the NINERS game and it was the best decision 😊👍🏽
The service was great along with the food. We had a going away party on their 2nd floor and there was plenty of room to distance and still have a private setting.
AVOID THIS PLACE LIKE THE PLAGUE. The manager LETECIA was such a disrespectful and inconsiderate woman about me having a food allergy.... My friend brought me to Fuego and I ordered “naked” wings since I’m gluten intolerant and when I ordered she told me they weren’t breaded (I always have to ask), but when they came, they were breaded. I walked over to kindly mention it to her as I felt it was something she could fix on my cheack and I said I have a gluten allergy and she told me “THEN DONT COME BACK HERE AGAIN.”
The owner and staff are a delight. My wife and I always feel welcome and enjoy our time while chatting over some brews.
Love the cocktails and Food here! Good ambience, they also have Live music (starts late evening) dance floor and some open space on the upper floor!
I gave t hi is a 4 good beautiful waiters good customer service. All around TV to see the fights. Food was good aswell. 2nd floor hige place to watch all sporting events
They got rid of the old manager 😃 the new gal rocks.
Great service, good beer selection and decent appetizers
Went for dinner and music. Dine in
Nah, they wack fr. I normally like Latina music but this music trash. Save your money and stay home lmao.
This was my wife and I first time visiting the restaurant the atmosphere was awesome and fun food was great the waitress that service was very professional friendly
Very good food and amazing patio upstairs. Clean Restroom but not very spacious- overall good bar
Best sport bar in town .Great service.Beautiful waitress.Specially the one who attend us Danielle she was Great.Food was really good.
Rudest bartender in the world. Demanded 15% tip as well she was entitled to it. If they fire her this supposed to be a four star
The perfect place to have some beers with your friends. Also, there’s food for every taste. I really like this place
Good happy hour menu available until 7pm, relatively quiet for a sports bar, and lots of space for large groups.
The food, drinks and wait staff are very good, but the lady (manager maybe?) running around screaming constantly makes the experience diminished.
Love Fuego! Such a fun spot to watch a game and the food is much better than your typical sports bar
Great bartender. Tasty food. Tons of TVs. Friendly patrons all enjoying Thursday night football
This place is horrible they need more organization better system and securities they think are the law enforcement they need to respect customers and call the police to clear any situation they are wrong ; they are very demand!!!
Thursday burger night is where its at
Good times with friends. The steak tacos were delicious. Excellent service.
Will be a pleasure to visit again, Good atmosphere, great people on a great town..how can you not when its topped off with good drinks
Amazing food, atmosphere, and people. Definitely recommend everyone checking out Fuego.

Really took very care of our large group. Great place to have a dinner meeting!
Football game and it was really crowded. Our food and drinks were well made and served quickly.
Lots of TVs, reasonable prices. Food is ok. Ideal for watching sports and having some drinks.
It was a great experience and Natashas and excellent server. See you next time!
Mostly obnoxious staff, super loud, won’t be back.
Great friendly people and nice bar.. Leticia is the Iron Ladys, controls all...

The food was delicious and the service was great. Love the ambience.
Wonderful menu, courteous service, lots of outdoor seating.
One of my favorite spots to dine and enjoy the staff on duty. 😊
Really enjoyed their happy hour beers and snacks.
Get a little loud when it gets busy, the food is okay The beverages are cold with an excellent wait staff
Beautiful girls serving food and booze?! Can there be anything better?
Learned that these guys are running a full on nightclub on the second floor in the middle of a pandemic. How is this even legal?
Nice to sit outside on Murphys street. Owners and staff are friendly
Fun and new on Murphy. Tons of space with a lot of tvs great spot
Was there for a seminar in the banquet room. The food served was tasty!
Great place to watch the UFC fights and great service. I will return!
The best sports bar for watching NFL football. Hands down.
They show ufc fights for a small cover. It was totally worth it.
One of the waitresses was very rude and called security on my friends..
Over priced drinks but waitresses are nice.
Good service, plenty of space, food is meh.
Food was amazing. I love the seafood pasta!
