Mitchells Salon & Day Spa

My husband and I had a couples massage and it was wonderful! It was relaxing and exactly what we needed. The therapists were very professional and tailored the massage to what we each wanted. Tim did my massage and he was great! We then both had pedicures, my husband did not have any complaints and the lady he was with was very friendly and personable. The lady I had never said hi or attempted to carry on any conversation. The first time I heard her voice was when she said, do you want me to cut or file. The sweet woman assigned to my husband involved me in their conversation. It didnt bother me that she didnt want to talk, that is fine. However, the pedicure more than your average place so you would expect the best outcome. :( So I cannot recommend coming here for a pedicure. I felt my pedicure was rushed, I started after my husband and yet finished at the same time. My heels were not addressed at all. After I leave a pedicure, 9 times out of 10 I leave with smooth heels. This was not the case, unfortunately. So I do not recommend the pedicure however, I do recommend coming here for a massage! 10/10 great experience with our massage therapists!

I was trying to not post this but the mediocre response from Justine M. has left me no choice but to put a warning out to everyone who frequently visits the West Chester location.2/10 would not recommend seeing Tim for a massage. I received a massage while he ate Ritz crackers over my body. How do I know? The sound of the wrapper was less than quiet. The crunching he did try to keep to himself, so I will give him that. I thought I was losing my mind but the cracker tube on the counter after the massage was over confirmed any doubts. If I had my phone in the room I would have taken a picture of it. This was extremely gross, unprofessional, and unsanitary. Maybe when I first heard the sounds I should have asked him if he was eating but that would have sounded absurd. Too bad it was true.

Payton Rocks! Im super ticklish on my feet and this was the best experience Ive had by far. Almost fell asleep in my chair during the foot massage at the end. Highly recommend and thank you for a wonderful afternoon. We will be back!

I had an appointment @ the West Chester location at 10am this morning with Erin. Todays appointment was made before I left the salon the last time that I was in for hair services. I was told at check-in that I had no appointment for hair today. Fortunately the receptionist was able to find someone else for my hair in a 2:15pm slot. Unfortunately I had to cancel and reschedule other appointments and plans on my schedule for today. Extremely disappointed in this experience.

Ava is great. Salon is beautiful with a large selection of products and services. Front staff are great; kind and professional. Relatively easy to get an appointment. Plenty of parking. Prices are in line with competitors. Would recommend.

I am pretty sure Tim single handedly cured my depression within our 90 minute massage session. I felt like a soft noodle afterwards, which was a feat in itself because I don’t think my body even knew how to be relaxed until this massage. I couldn’t recommend him enough, but I will temper it because I do want to continue to be able to get on his books in the future. Truly a master. Additional bonus points go to him because I think I left an inch or two taller.

Lola is a fantastic nail technician which is why I have a standing appointment with her every two weeks! Both my gel manicures and gel pedicures always look amazing. She is very professional and has such a positive attitude.

Erika and all others involved were truly a blessing and went above and beyond to make our spa day party more than I could have imagined. We had several obstacles (on our end) throughout the planning process for our group (even into the morning of) but Erika and team handled everything with grace and were such a joy to work with. Cannot wait to go come back again!

Mitchell’s West Chester is my favorite of all of the Mitchell’s Centers. Everyone is so kind and professional. Everything is clean and beautiful. I highly recommend Anna for all things nails and Abby for spa services. They are both so excellent at their craft, gracious, friendly, and kind.

Nikki asked me questions I didn’t even know needed asked to figure out what I wanted with my hair. I wanted it brighter for summer and get a cut that made it more full looking! She did great!

My friend and I came here for a girls’ salon day. We bought a package that included massages, facials, and pedicures. As first time guests, we each received a 20% discount. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. Our masseuses and nail specialists paid special attention to our requests and we had a great day.

Mitchells is my go to place for all my salon and spa needs. I am a big fan of their express hair cuts. They do amazing facials- the express is great but my favorite is the Euphoria- it is a dream. My favorite service though by far is their massages. I have had some of the best massages of my life at Mitchells West Chester. I do have two favorite massage therapists- Tim and Jordan. They are incredibly talented and I always leave feeling like a new woman! I highly recommend a 90 minute massage to really be able to soak it in. A great tip is to pay attention to their gift card sales! They offer 20% off gift cards multiple times a year. It is a great way to save on services you planned to do throughout the year anyway!

Alyssa “AJ” James did my hair today and simply put, she’s a queen. 10/10 personality. 10/10 skills. 10/10 conversation. 10/10 making me feel great. and to show i’m not being bias, she only gets a 4/10 on height. her being petite is adorable though. GET YOUR HAIR DONE BY AJ YALL

I always receive great customer service every time im there. Carrie does amazing work and has been doing my brows for years. She did an outstanding job on my microblading. I wont let anyone else touch my brows!

Evan Mooar is a fun, friendly, down to earth, and creative stylist. I appreciated his ability to ask me a few questions and figure out what to do with my hair, when I had no ideas.

Tim is the best massage therapist ever!! He always fixes my neck and back, is very professional, and pleasant!

Wife was informed at her appointment her pedicure would be from a girl in training rather than a licensed professional. Service was terrible, drew blood cutting her foot, and requested full price for the service after. I’d love to see the manager for an explanation

The workers at Mitchells Salon are incredibly nice and helpful. I had my hair and make-up done for my wedding and they treated me so nice. The hair stylist was very caring. She did exactly what I wanted for my hair. The make-up artist made me look so beautiful. I greatly appreciate all the help they did for me. Thank you.

I had a fantastic experience with Tim doing the hot stones massage. This being my first time ever getting a massage and also being a bigger girl, I had several reasons to be a bit nervous going into it, but Tim immediately made me feel comfortable and was very professional. The massage itself was also amazing. Prior to starting he asked me where my problem areas were so he could focus on areas I need it the most. I could really tell he was reaching those really tense areas in my back and shoulders, and now several days later I can feel a huge difference in my muscles and am way less tense. Overall a fantastic experience and I will absolutely be going back to Tim in the future!

Stopped in today (Saturday 3-9-24) around 4:20pm. The doors were locked so an employee came and let me in. Another lady at the desk asked if she could help me, I let her know I was there to purchase products, not for any service. She then informed me they were closed. I checked the website and they close at 6pm on Saturday. I just walked out. Wont be returning.

Everyone made me feel very special as I spent my day of beauty at Mitchell’s! I especially loved my body message from Mandy! It was awesome and she was a very sweet person! I’ve never had a message that I enjoyed more!!!!

Absolutely a wonderful experience. I got a gift certificate as a birthday gift and I am so glad I did. Savannah is awesome! Everyone else I encountered was pleasant and everything was so clean. I left feeling completely pampered and relaxed.

I see Abby at West Chester for my facials, eyebrows, and waxing needs. She is always knowledgeable and professional. She has helped me come up with a skin regiment that has my face feeling and looking better than it ever has before. This is a major accomplishment for 50+ skin.

I love going to Mitchell’s for my hair. I always leave feeling so much better. Bethany does such a great job. I have been seeing her for so long I feel like she is a friend I love catching up with while I’m there.

I received the head to toe service and what a wonderful service. It was all the way from the massage to the facial to my hair. Getting done to my nails and my toes. I enjoyed every moment. We even had lunch there. It was so nice and everyone was so kind and did an excellent job!

Had a great spa day last Friday. Staff made me feel welcome and comfortable, which is especially important being plus sized. 4 stars because I tried Dazzle Dry and this is how my nails look at 6 days and my cuticles are peeling. This is without harsh chemical use.

I got a mens pedi since I cant trim my own toenails. Kim always does a great job and does not rush.

Ive been going to this salon at West Chester for many years and Kaitlynn is the Best and always does a great job with my hair! Before I retired and before Covid I headed up our GE Admin day every year, so all of the GE girls received about every service Mitchells has available, and the staff throughout the salon was always great! Highly recommend Mitchells! :O)

My wife took me to get a facial since I’ve never had one done before. I didn’t know what to expect, but once I got on that table and Rina placed the warm towel on my face, I transcended. Rina did an amazing job and I left the spa relaxed and glowing.

Went in for a bikini and upper leg wax the day before a beach vacation. The salon is nice and very professional. The private room for waxing was very clean and comfortable. My experience was with Abby and she was amazing. Already booked my follow up with her. Absolutely recommend!

Alyssa did an amazing job with my 8yo daughter! My daughter has a sensitive scalp. Her long hair had become unmanageable. Alyssa took the time to listen to what my daughter wanted, gently worked with her, and together agreed to a flattering bob at a perfect length. Thank you Alyssa!!!

Before coming to mitchells, I went to a place were the hairstylist obviously didnt want to be there. I left upset with my haircut and my husband didnt like it either. I went to mitchells in Westchester to get it fixed. Spencer was great. I love how comfortable she made me feel and how great of a job she did. I walked out loving it and so does my husband.

My hairstylist Kaitlynn McMonigle is so good! She is hardworking, talented and so very nice! I enjoy the time I spend in her chair!! The girls at the front desk are very nice and professional as well! It’s a great salon!

Received a gel manicure this morning and an hour later it is peeling off my nails. They said I could come in at the weekend to fix it but I couldnt make the only time they offered. They then said they could offer me 50% another visit. So they want me to spend more money fixing their mistakes. The customer service was so terrible and the receptionist was less than helpful and acted like it wasnt really her problem. I wouldnt recommend this place

My stylist, Layten, made my whole experience there worth while! I couldnt be more happy and satisfied with the style & cut that I chose, but without Layten listening and giving me exactly what I asked for and took her time to make sure everything was perfect! Thanks sooo much!

So my husband and I booked appointments for a massage, facials, and mani and pedis about 2/3 months in advance. The day before our appointment we get a call that my husbands masseuse called off. Perfectly fine, things happen and they had a replacement. The next morning they call me again and tell me the person they had scheduled with my husband is at the hospital… two different people, what are the odds? Again, whatever things happen, we cancelled both massages (even though that’s the only part I was truly looking forward to) Facials went fine, if you have received an actual facial from a medical spa, they are drastically different. And the mani and pedis, lol…. My finger nails didn’t even get filed to be evened out…… and i asked for a dry manicure and it was just not it. But all the women and staff were incredibly nice and welcoming. my husband and I overall had a good day so for that reason I left 2 stars. (Photo attached of the mani I received. These were done yesterday and it looks awful)Also, They are incredibly overpriced. If you want a spa day experience I’m sure you can find better services elsewhere.Edit: this was not followed up.

I had one of the best facials ever with Lanee at the West Chester location. Everyone was extremely friendly and helpful especially Diane in the spa. I highly recommend Lanee as takes care of my skin and my overall wellbeing.

Over the years, Mitchell’s has been my go to for hair services. For the last six months or so, I have been seeing Master Designer, Tina M. at the West Chester location. Tina is simply amazing! My hair has never looked better. Tina is efficient and makes the whole process enjoyable. Mitchell’s is lucky to have such an amazing Designer.***The stylist (Rachel?) whose station is situated diagonally from Tina is very loud and constantly talks (even when it seems like the client isn’t interested in ongoing communication). This makes it difficult to converse with Tina.

This salon is absolutely wonderful! Yes, its a bit expensive, but its so worth the expense. The stylists and the ladies who do the pedicures are fantastic at their jobs! Becky is my favorite for pedicures! Shes so excellent at her job. But so is everyone there. And its so comfortable there. Its actually worth the price. I highly recommend Mitchells Salon and Spa!

We booked the bachelorette spa evening service with this salon and we could not be more happy. The prices are fair, the booking process was easy, and Erica the spa coordinator was super helpful.The staff was beyond accommodating and the service was fantastic. Every staff member we came into contact with was professional, friendly and amazing at what they do.We had a party of six, we got facials/ or massages and a mani pedi in our package and it was so relaxing. I would recommend this service to anyone wanting to have a relaxing spa day with their bridesmaids before their wedding. I honestly can’t say enough great things about our experience. I wish i could name all the people by name but we were serviced by a lot of different people and they were all fantastic.

Monique is amazing! She has my nails and cuticles looking healthier than ever! Always willing to explain how to treat them at home and makes good recommendations for colors that I would not typically try but then end up loving!

I had a great experience here! Nate was wonderful, he did my cut and color and was very personable. He was professional, easy to talk to, and helped me get the look I wanted. After a day I realized I wanted my bangs to be a little shorter (to no fault of Nate) but they were able to get me in for a quick trim of my bangs on very short notice. Caitlin did my bang trim and she was great as well! Very professional and friendly staff who went above and beyond to make sure I got the look I wanted. I will definitely be coming back!!

Fantastic hot stone massage with Mandy! I had never had one before but it felt great to loosen up the tight muscles in my back. I moved to Ohio in July 2021. After looking at lots of reviews I made an appointment with Rhonda at West Chester location. I was greeted immediately when I walked in & offered something to drink. Rhonda did an amazing job listening to me & giving me some excellent suggestions. I am so glad to have a stylist that I can trust here at my new home. You can tell Rhonda cares about her clients & does everything possible to make them feel special. Thank you.

My favorite spa for a facial. Their Signature Facial comes with about 15-20 minutes of massages to the shoulders, legs, feet, arms and hands including about 5 minutes of a hot stone massage to the arms. They use high-end products and do extractions during the facial. Rena was friendly yet professional. If you want the best facial in the greater Cincinnati area come here. It is expensive but worth the cost in my opinion. Dont forget to tip!

If you want to be treated poorly by staff and management if you dislike what you paid for, go here. I just left the salon the other day feeling humiliated and depressed because my hair is horrible. They refused to fix my hair unless I paid for it because they claim Im only wanting more highlights than what she did. Negative. I asked for orange and yellow spots to get fixed and they gave me a spot light which did absolutely nothing. They told me to drive back to get it fixed which I live and hour away so I did just for them to tell me that theyre not helping unless I pay more. Literally left in tears. I never do anything for myself so this was special. Instead I was treated horrible.

TERRRIBLEEEEEEEEE:((((( I honestly haven’t experienced this bad of a spaaa, My party of 5 tried to book and appointment a week earlier….They never called back me… I tried calling this lady named Erica and she never got back to me left like 5 voicemails… absolutely disappointed never ever trying to book again waste of time…I absolutely do not recommenddd, They also have different locations by the same ownerr, so don’t get fooled, they also were very rude to me on the phone and Evan one of the times she hung up on me….:(

Cameron has been doing my hair now for about 11-12 years and she knows my hair better than I know it. She always make the color perfect and the cut is the exact right length. Conversation is wonderful with her as well. I always enjoy my experience.

Got a massage and a beard trim from Tim and Ken respectfully both were great place was big and clean. My only nitpicking complaint is that the paper shoes they give you when you get in the robe are uncomfortable basically a foot condom so your feet dont touch the floor.

Since moving to Cincinnati I have struggled finding a good and professional hair salon. My first time at Mitchell’s Salon & Day Spa was wonderful! My hairstylist Heather understood exactly what I wanted and gave me a much needed haircut and style since the beginning of this pandemic. I left the salon feeling happy, refreshed, and like a human again. Lol... If you have been looking for a good hair salon with great quality of service, this is the place for you. You won’t regret it!

I have very short hair and get it cut more often than most. Alex is awesome!! Shes kind, caring and really listens to me! I love what she does with my hair. I truly trust her opinion! I have been with my hair stylist Shana right at 2 years and my hair has never looked better or healthier than it has in the time that I have been with Shana, she always takes great care of me. When it comes to nails you have got to go see Shirley she is the best with all things nails. This is the Mitchells Day spa in Westchester Ohio.

Had an appt scheduled with Erin today at 3:30 at the West Chester location. Checked in at the front desk at 3:30. I sat in the lobby waiting for 40 minutes while everyone else was being taken back. At 4:10, I went to the front desk and asked the lady how much longer of a wait and she proceeded to tell me Erin was fully booked for the evening and that I wasn’t checked in and I would need to reschedule… mind you I can see Erin’s salon chair from the lobby desk and she is still doing someone’s hair. So was she double booked? Did the girl not check me in? How can you not be attentive to the customers in your lobby and notice someone sitting there for 40 minutes. I’m a nurse, took off work early just to get a hair cut to try and do a little self care after always caring for others. The girl at the front desk offered no help or explanation. I won’t ever be back.

Always LOVE Mitchells! Everybody is so friendly, professional. The salon is beautiful and comfortable. This is the first time I had my hair cut by Piper. She did an amazing job from just looking at a couple of pictures I showed her on my phone. I wanted short and edgy, with a shaved undercut. Its spectacular ! I already made my next appointment. Horrible business! Young girls at front don’t know hair terms and booked me for the wrong thing so instead of getting full color I got partial highlights just on crown which just makes me look like I’m going gray.. cost way to much for almost no service! Paid 167 for a few gray streaks when I went in expecting to get my full blonde look back. Definitely not returning!

My stylist Tasha is the best!! I moved north but still make the drive to Mitchells Salon in West Chester for the great service and hair cut, highlights and style by her. I feel totally safe and comfortable coming here during this crazy time of the coronavirus. Cant wait for things to go back to normal 😌

I made a haircut appointment for my son - 10 minutes before it was to start and as I was almost there I get a call from a woman named Iesha telling me the stylist overbooked and they were cancelling his appointment. This is the second time this type of thing has happened and the woman on the phone didnt even apologize for it. Just poor customer service.

Yesterday I had a late evening appointment (7:45) with Stephanie. She was awesome. She understood that I wanted something different and shorter than my previous cut and was concerned about how it would look on me. She asked a few questions and we decided on a inverted bob. She was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. She worked to make sure I liked the cut and that it was even on all sides. I will happily go back to Mitchells and especially Stephanie for my next cut.

The best part of my visit was Rachel!! She did an awesome job cutting and styling my hair. On top of that she was a pleasure to talk to and put me at ease right away with her sparkling personality. I came to Mitchell’s because my husband gave me a gift card for Christmas, but I will be back! Thank you Rachel!

I used the Mitchells Salon and Day Spa West Chester location for getting ready for my wedding day with my bridesmaids, mothers, and grandmothers. Mitchells Salon and Day Spa team did a great job making sure my bridal party and I looked picture perfect and felt confident for my wedding. Shayna did my hair, Abby did my makeup and facials, and Bree did my nails. The updo was gorgeous, my makeup lasted all day and my skin looked flawless, and my nail polish lasted for weeks!The other members of the team: Alyssa, Angela, Kaitlynn, and Nate, did such a great job making everyones look coordinated together, but was still unique to them. Everyones hair looked so good in the photos and complimented each other!They let us use the room next to the spa to congregate to get excited for the big day. We were able to bring sparking juice, charcuterie boards, and fruit to enjoy as we got ready. This helped the group get connected and get excited for the event! Mitchells Salon and Day Spa did a great job making sure that everything went smoothly for the big day! Definitely recommend!

I just literally love Kiara!! She’s so good. I’ve never been upset with the way my hair turns out, and I have not had that experience with any other stylist or place—ever. Since I went to her, I will not go to anyone else! I’ve recommended her to my sister (who loves her too, but is on a budget so goes when she can), and my mom is interested in going to her as well. I will always recommend Mitchell’s in West Chester, and especially Kiara. Thanks for all you do girl! (Also she’s hilarious and her conversational skills are A+).

I had a facial done by Ivy today and she was amazing. I’ve had a facial before but it was nothing compared to the one today at Mitchell’s. Ivy was great at communicating with me, gave a great massage during the facial, and had helpful recommendations for my skin. I will definitely be going back to her in the future!

I was checked in right away by a very nice girl, my stylist only took about a minute to come out. Kathleen was nice, friendly, and figured out pretty quickly what to do with my hair. Hair looks great, checked out by a different but also friendly girl. Great experience.

My hairstylist Heather is wonderful. Professional snd personable and highly skilled at cutting, coloring, and styling my hair. I’ve come back for years because we’ve built a good relationship of trust that I’ve enjoyed knowing my hair will be done well and it always looks fresh and stylish when I leave the salon.

Everyone was friendly and professional. I had a color re-touch by Rachael and she always does an awesome job. The only problem was a very long line in the cashier area. Around Christmas time, they probably should have an extra cashier just for gift certificates. They did mention that there are check-in machines for new customers coming in, but gift certificates really slow down the process for people wanting to check-out and/or buy products.

I was fortunate enough to get $300 in gift cards from my three children, my man, and his son for Christmas. So I set up an appointment for a manicure with SKYLAR, a massage with MARIE, and a foil and cut with MARILYN! My nails are beautiful and the massage felt great!! By the end of the evening MARILYN really only had time to do my foil and I want you to know she stayed until 10:00 pm to give me a wonderful cut to go with my new color!!! Ken was nothing short of amazing. Professional, honest, quick & efficient with no quality compromised, friendly, did a phenomenal job on my hair! I was also surprised with the sanitation process prior to & after we utilized any thing within Mitchell’s. A+ service - THANK YOU

The front desk girl, who was training a new girl, was not nearly as friendly or attentive as I would expect at an establishment that is this high end. The prices are premium in my opinion. They charge al a cart and nickle and dime you - which means, for instance, that you are paying for a full head of color even if they only use a couple drops of product. Yeah... Thats $70-80 per shade. Wow. With that price point, I should CERTAINLY be greeted like royalty just for walking in the door. My stylist, Angela, was great. She was attentive and, most importantly, honest. She told me exactly what it would take to get what I want, including time and price. In the end, she and I chose to do a cut and style and schedule the color out. She took ample time with me to make sure I would leave with something I loved and could recreate. She is probably worth the money. I wish the front end supported her by giving appropriate service. That was a downer. However, I will probably come back to see Angela, despite the $300 plus price tag that will come with the look I want. Thats how confident she made me feel in her talent. Where I live, I would pay half that.

The staff accomodate everyones safety and massage therapists wear masks when the client does. Everyone from reception to back of the house are friendly, professional, helpful. Prices are competitive with industry. Mitchells supports the continuing education of staff and treats their employees well. Ive got unique body conditions and the therapist I see most (Kat) always takes care of my issues and listens to my needs. Thank you Mitchells!

Nate completely nailed the look I was going for. I was completely going out of my comfort zone by changing my hair color to something totally opposite of me, so I was feeling very anxious. When I saw his final product I was gagged...I LOVED IT! There’s always that apprehensive feeling for me of “what will everyone else think of it?” But he made it look so amazing that I did not care...at all! Coincidentally, this is a milestone birthday for me and I love the new look I’m going into it with. Thank you Nate! Shauntay you stay!

Michelle took such great care of me! She made sure she knew exactly what I wanted, and even stayed an hour after close to make sure my hair was as perfect as she could. I came in wanting corrective color, going blonde when I already had light brown/ auburn hair with highlights. She was incredibly attentive to my hair during the bleaching process, making me feel assured that my hair was in good hands! My haircut was incredible, not taking off more than I asked while still cutting off what was needed, and she has been the only (yes, I truly mean only) hairdresser that has cut my bangs how I wanted them and in a way that she knew would look best. Not only did the blonde turn out beautifully (especially for bleaching hair the color mine was previously) but she was friendly and kind throughout the entire experience. I left feeling good about my appearance as well as feeling like I had made a friend. I highly doubt that I will ever go to anyone else ever again. Thanks so much Michelle!

Shayna is awesome and did a phenomenal job! I particularly appreciated the large face shield that was provided while having my hair shampooed. It’s good to know they take the necessary steps to keep their clients safe.

Mitchells has been exceptional with making a safe and comfortable environment during these challenging times. Im fortunate to have Rhonda to take care of my aging hair challenges and if theres a hair whisperer, it would be her! Shes kind and caring and has done great with getting me through the challenges.

First time and my experience was above and beyond. From checking in, during my services with Lola and Kat, to checking out...it was nothing below a 5 star and I wish I could add more stars.

I love this salon and spa and have always received great service. I normally go to the Hyde location but you cant go wrong with any of the locations. Ive seen several stylists and have never had anything negative to say. I always leave loving my hair. I received a confirmation email which was awesome bc I never like phone calls and it allowed me to add it to my calender. Not sure if its a new system they have in place but I love it!

This was my first time at this Mitchells location. I requested Heather and she exceeded my expectations. She cut and colored my hair and I couldnt be happier with both. It was a great hair experience. I already scheduled my next appointment.

I go to Mitchells for a standard mens cut, and its very much worth the extra money. After getting cheap cuts at chain salons for eons, my wife talked me into spending a little more for a better cut, and its worth it. My stylist does a great job working with quirks in my hair (cowlicks, curly spots, etc) and works it into a great looking cut that actually has gotten comments from my male coworkers. I feel like I actually have a big boy hair style.

I needed a cut and first time ever decided to have my color done to what it was when I was younger. Great job on both! Im very happy and got great service!

We didnt have the best experience for bridal services. I tried the salon out by going to them to get my hair and makeup done for my engagement photos and really didnt like any part of it (Im not picky, just wanted loose curls and subtile makeup). I contacted the salon panicking because I couldnt find anyone else that would take care of my wedding party of 7 at short notice and called the bridal coordinator. She told me she would have never put me with the person who did my hair because she was so new, that she wouldnt be doing anyones hair on the wedding day and that the person who did my makeup wouldnt be doing my makeup.Fast forward to the wedding day... one of the hair stylists decided not to show up that day and the first person who came into the seating area was the woman who did my hair for my engagement photos. I will say she did a decent job on my cousins hair (but my cousin will tell people exactly what/how to do things). My sisters hair literally stayed in pins but was flopping off her head within 20 minutes of going up, my mom was told she couldnt have an up-do because of time constraints, my sister- in-law was so unhappy with her hair/makeup and her daughters hair that she complained to the front desk and received a gift card.The room we sat in while we waited for our appointment had tables covered in crumbs and smeared with butter (we were the first appointments of the day) and they said they had no drinks available for us (they could have at least provided a bottle of water for the price per person and the reputation of the salon).On a positive note... Kaitlynn has definite up-do skills. She was so super sweet and even fixed my sisters hair for her since none of us trusted her hair person to manage her hair. Carrie did an AMAZING job on make-up and I would totally go to her again.In short... maybe go to this salon if you have a recommendation for a specific person and service (or to see Kaitlynn to Carrie!) but I wouldnt bring a bridal party here.I did write an email to the salon letting them know the issues I had and was given an email telling me theyd let someone know... that was all. Not worth the money and the stress on my wedding day. Almost everyone was stressed leaving there.

I was disappointed with our recent experience. I called the scheduler to set up appointments for my grown daughter and me. I explained that my 5 year old is medically fragile. I would stay in the car and let my daughter go first. After her appt, shed come out to sit with my 5 year old. The scheduler set the appointments up for 30 minutes apart.I went inside upon arrival, checked us both in, reminded them of our situation, and went out. My daughter goes in and at 45 minutes they call me because Im 15 minutes late. I again remind them of our situation.My daughter comes out of her appt after 50 minutes. The person lined up to cut my hair had come over and harassed both my daughter and her stylist to hurry up and let them know he was upset having to wait for me despite being told why. It ruined the experience for my daughter.I went in and explained yet again, this time to my stylist. He was kind to me, but Im very displeased with how my daughter was treated. She felt really bad about a situation she didnt cause.I was then told that the appointments are meant to be scheduled for 45 minutes each. Im not sure why the appt setter only gave her 30 minutes, but there are lots of places out there that we can try instead.Her haircut was beautiful. Mine was not what I had in mind, but fine.

I recently moved to the Cincinnati area and this salon was recommended. I got my hair cut a few days ago with Kendra and she was personable, professional, and knowledgeable. The price was reasonable for a salon cut. Ill definitely try them for other services, like nails and massage.

I really loved how Angela helped me with my curls. Shes very patient and had untangled all my knots with ease. Im so relieved after the deep conditioning curl treatment at mitchells! Angela is super friendly and suggested tips for my unruly curly hair!

Had my hair highlighted foiled by Heather Owens. I walked out feeling and looking unbelievable. I have dark,long, thick & very curly hair and she put beautiful caramel highlights in. My hair is never looked or felt so amazing. Highly recommend Mitchells and Heather Owens for any coloring treatment needed.

Had a nice time, massage was wonderful. Pedicure was great. My one and only complaint is that I could hear people talking through the halls while I was receiving my massage which was distracting. Cooper delivered another amazing massage. It had been a few years since I had seen her, but Im glad I asked for her again. I havent had that relaxing of a massage in a long time. She is very experienced and last time helped me work out some p physical ailments I had.

I had a less than desirable spa manicure experience. Not relaxing at all. My manicurist was not that experienced it appeared.Management reached out to resolve my dissatisfaction. I really appreciated that so Ive increased to 3 stars. I still would advise against manicures but its nice that if you are unhappy, as I was they try to work with you to make things right.

I appreciate the care and attention to my feet during my pedicure. Wendy went out of her way to find the polish color I wanted to support my son’s kidney transplant.

Not the experience I thought it would be. Pedicure with my wife. But it was just a foot soak and cut I thought it would be like they massage your calves and feet but it didnt happen. It was good just being there with my wife. That was the best part.

We planned our office Christmas Party here last night and it was AMAZING between the staff taking care of us and helping set up and catering to us. Not to mention I heard not one bad word about the masseuse‘s . But I really want to take the time to brag about the esthetician I had named Rebecca , she was an angel literally. I got the Deluxe Euphoria with derma sound treatment facial and it was the best decision, I told Rebecca how I was a new mom and had really bad acne during pregnant and my face just hasn’t felt right since. She explained every step and gave this mama some much needed relaxation . I would highly recommend using her because my face and pores have never looked better, thanks again to all staff as well we will be back next year and I will be back to see Rebecca in a couple months !

Do not come here because it actually jacked my hair up so badly. the people here CANNOT do different haircuts because all they know how to do is straight boring haircuts. i asked for a shorter layered haircut and showed a reference photo and all that i got was an extremely short bob cut WHICH LOOKS NOTHING LIKE THE PHOTO. even a relative of mine got her hair messed up and her curl pattern ruined because of the hair dye they put in. they also charged me 30 dollars for this piece of junk that i have to grow out for the next 2 months before i look half decent again. DONT COME HERE!

Mitchells Day Spa is a very clean facility that follows the COVID guidelines. I had an anti-stress massage, which was fabulous. I would recommend booking an appointment with Hallie Boroff. Hallie is very professional and provides a wonderful massage. I will be visiting Mitchells Day Spa and booking with Hallie again.

Bridal package - trial paid separately-Brides hair and makeup, bridesmaid makeup and up do -bridesmaid updo no makeup- flower girl updo- mother of the bride makeup suppose to have updo no time so it is curled only. $796.00 wouldnt change price for updo not getting done. It also went bone straight before pictures at church. The explanation to stylist that product needs to be in hair was ignored. The only one thank God that their hair work out was the bride. Everyone elses hair looked like we never had it done. BEWARE if you think that going here, you will receive what you paid for. Also nothing not even a water bottle or snacks were offered like the Bridal package advertised. No adjustments to the bill either. Checked with other Salons mouths dropped with the experience. Especially considering they will tell you youll be so happy when you book. After all its Mitchells Salon .

I got the hot stone massage and it was just OK. The locker Room and amenities isnt really anything I would brag about or try to get friends to go and do it with me. Theres another local salon that is more expensive but I have found that you get what you pay for in situations like these. There is a lot more amenities & the services were much better.

Went to Mitchells in West Chester this morning. Got the best haircut ever. Heather Owens was the sweetest, caring person call and ask for her you will not be disappointed.

Shirley always does a beautiful job on my signature whirlpool pedicure! The process is so relaxing and pampering, and my feet look beautiful when she’s finished.

Very unresponsive staff. They changed my appointment twice, second time I checked in and then I was sitting in the waiting area for half an hour and nobody came for me. When I asked them they said I should wait for another hour, the stylist that I made appointment was not even there and nobody even apologized for such a delay. I would never go back yo this place.

The ONLY place i go for swedish massage and you can only go to the kenwood location bc they have the best relaxation room with soft lights, large lounge chairs, and assortments of tea. Ive been going for over a decade and 98% of the time its been perfect. But be clear up front about pressure, some of the new girls rub you and not massage you.

Had a manicure done at the West Chester location. Was an unsatisfactory experience. I had to scrub down my nails my self with at the facility sink with a dirty brush and wipe that down with a dirty towel. What was the value in that? And to add to the bad experience my nail polish starting chipping in multiple places. I do not recommend this place for manicure.

The best in the city for whatever you need. They use and sell the best products: Oribe, Bumble and bumble, Glymed skincare, Jane Iredale make-up. Smith & Cult Nail, Oribe Beauty and skincare. Uses Wella professional hair color and offers EasiHairPro and Great Lengths Hair Extensions by certified experts. Many think they are the most expensive in the city, but they arent. Not a budget salon, but you get what you pay for.
