Massage Envy

I’ve been getting massages at Envy for about 2 years now and most of the time they’re great and I find that it’s worth the money. However, the last couple months I’ve been noticing that the therapists will short you on massage time. I’ve been getting to my appointments 10-15 minutes early hoping I would start early but nope. Today I got started at 2:06 and ended at 2:55 and I paid for a whole hour. This service isn’t cheap so I expect to get my whole hours worth. Disappointing. Sure, here and there, I won’t make a fuss, but this has been a consistent occurrence and it’s getting annoying.

They cancelled my appointment 1.5 hours before my 2pm appointment. I planned my whole day around it. Tory did not offer to remedy the problem or a discount. I could not get in anywhere else locally. I was looking forward to this massage for 2 weeks. It was an important day for me. Very disappointed

I started getting facials last year. Ive gone every two months to get a microderm. I love Mariah and my skin has never looked better. I get compliments regularly from my friends and family and even strangers.

Normally I do not go to this location, but my first experience was fine. No issues. Matter a fact, an employee gave me a $75 voucher for my next visit. Today, I presented the voucher prior to my appointment and I was told since the entro price has gone up from $75 to $80, that they will not honor the voucher that was given to me FROM THEIR LOCATION, FOR THEIR LOCATION, FROM THEIR EMPLOYEE. I was extremely disappointed that they wouldnt honor the voucher, even if it was $5 more. I would have even paid the difference if that was a given option, but it wasnt. I was told I would have to pay the amount. I couldnt believe it, so I walked out. 4 mins later I received a phone call, expecting an apology, but instead I told that since I wont be getting the service, that they will have to charge me a cancellation fee!! WHAT?!? You want to charge me a cancellation fee for a voucher the location wont honor?!I hope every ME is ran differently and with much more professionalism than the West Chester location.

I have been utilizing Massage Envy for several years now. My first experience with them was back in 2012. Throughout the years I have gone to several ME locations and been worked on by several different great therapists such as Stacey, Staci, and Jennifer, just to name a few. However, Angela is my #1 pick. She always does a phenomenal job. Her professionalism is unmatched. She is very attentive to my problem areas, and utilizes amazing techniques, along with the perfect balance of deep yet relaxing pressure. I book my appointments according to her schedule, and couldnt imagine using anyone else at this point. My work schedule has prevented me from being able to schedule regular appointments as I had been. However, as soon as my time is freed up, I know where Im going and who Im going to see.

I had called earlier around 7ish but whoever answered the phone just hung up on me. Very rude at the front desk. I think the whole west Chester area just has rude customers services.

Janice and staff do a fantastic job. Jennifer is a great therapist. Would highly recommend.

Ally is the best. She works out all of the kinks. She is attentive and precise.

I went to the West Chester location for the first time, as I was unable to get an appointment at the Mason location. I had a massage with Angela and she was awesome! She listens to what you want to focus on and she makes sure to cover those areas during the time allowed. She truly cares about providing a good massage. I highly recommend her and will schedule with her for my next massage.

Angela is the best! She finds your problem areas and spends time working on them throughout the whole appointment. She is amazing at what she does. I leave feeling rejuvenated every time and already eager for my next appointment. The front staff is also very kind and inviting. Overall 10/10 experience every time.

Great experience from start to finish. Warmly greeted by front desk staff and the massage therapist, and the massage was very good. Angela did a great job and knew just how to work out the many knots in my shoulders and back. I felt so much better afterwards! Looking forward to my next massage!

Went last week for the first time. Friendly staff from the moment you step foot in the door. Front desk was friendly, patient, helpful & answered all my questions. I was given a tour of the building first thing so I knew where I was going. This place is spotless clean! They are professional & care about your comfort all during the treatment. I had such a positive experience I bought a year membership! When your treated this good, you have to go back. Thank you so much.

Angela was my massage therapist today and she is absolutely amazing. This was my second time seeing her and both times she took her time and focused on all of my problem areas. She used the perfect amount of pressure and really got me relaxed. The conversation was great and she is such a sweet person. I will definitely be back to see her.

Angela was amazing. I have h-EDS so I was worried the masseuse might not understand my health conditions and how to deal with it, but she took the initiative to learn how to work with my condition and I’ve never felt so great. From the moment I walked in the door, I was greeted with a smile and a friendly welcome and asked if I needed anything while I was in the quiet room. My masseuse, Lisa was absolutely amazing and made the experience very relaxing and just all around great! She was friendly and worked on all my key areas per my request! I can’t say enough about her!

The people at the front desk were very welcoming and sweet. I didnt get great instructions on what to wear/not wear. The masseuse made sure not to move or go anywhere near clothing that was left on but I was very cold and the session was ended extremely abruptly for both my guest and I.

I was disappointed. The sheets didn’t seem to be fresh, my entire massage was done with only one hand at a time and I wasn’t given water when I departed which is customary for customer service at Massage Envy as a long time customer. The building aesthetics were good and the front desk very friendly as well as my masseuse, but I just didn’t feel the technique met my expectations. My entire massage seemed to remain in just one area and I asked for entire upper body massage.

Whole experience was awesome! Im not going to say who my therapist was because I want to keep her to myself! She was the best. Thank you Staci for an amazing first visit. I will definitely be back, soon.

Jenice and Team are so dialed into to making you feel like family!! The front desk people are phenomenal. Tessie is absolutely the best. Very rare to find a deep tissue masseuse. I left the Mason location because they didn’t have one. Been seeing Tessie for a couple years. Won’t go anywhere else.. She is that good!!! I have had massage therapy for 40 years, at some of the best Spas in the world.. Tessie is incredible!!Thanks to all for keeping me healthy..

This Massage Envy location is beyond amazing! Theyre very thorough, while explaining how their process works. They walk you through everything, so you know exactly what to expect. The people at the front desk are extremely friendly, warm and welcoming. Youre always greeted with a smile and theyre willing to answer any questions, you may have. My therapist, Lisa, was absolutely AMAZING! Her pressure was consistent and I felt that she really worked to alleviate my pain, in my shoulder blades, without hurting me. I would absolutely recommend to this location, to anyone needing relief or seeking relaxation.

Lisa at Massage Envy in Voice of America Mall has been my massage therapist for several years now and just does the best job. I leave feeling relaxed and refreshed every month. I always look forward to my time with her. Self care is not overrated. Highly recommended!

My regular massage therapist moved out of state, after 15+ years, so I’m looking for a replacement. I think I may have found that replacement in Tessie! She really got in there & worked on my problem areas. I chose her because the website said she could apply firm pressure & she did not disappoint! I highly recommend Tessie.

Karen at the West Chester, Ohio location is wonderful. I love her technique and the medium pressure. She asks if I’m okay during sessions and what I’m comfortable with before sessions. She listens to your body and I’m always looking forward to my appointments with her.

I had Lisa and She did a amazing job. I was extremely happy with my service. I was very relaxed and all my knots were gone. I am very happy with the West Chester Massage Envy. The front desk guy greats me with my name and a smile every time I go in. Sorry I forgot his name.

I called Westchester Massage Envy and was able to book an afternoon session.Excellent customer service, and extremely professional. They cancelled my appointment with less than a 24 hour notice, they are perfectly happy to charge you 50% of your appointment if you cancel without a 24 hour notice but cant do anything if they cancel with less than a 24 hour notice AND after you already confirmed your appointment via text. Never heard of a place staying in business that holds their customers to a higher standard than they hold themselves.

I’ve been seeing Mariah regularly for facials and she is amazing! She has drastically changed my skin. 100000% recommend her. At this point I just let her pick what facials I need and honestly she has never led me wrong. You can tell by her touch that she is confident in what she is doing and is always professional and friendly. Always look forward to my appointments with her.

For this to be my first ever professional massage with a company with such a reputable name, I was HIGHLY disappointed. The front desk staff was the best part of my experience. I went for a full body massage with focus on my back, neck and shoulders. Needless to say my arms, feet and front of my legs were never touched. I am beyond disappointed and most likely will not visit this location again.

I have had massages here twice, and both therapists were very inexperienced. One of them, however, was truly skilled and made my back pain feel a LOT better. She not only made me feel comfortable during the massage but applied great deep pressure and had an intuitive sense of where the pain was and how to work it. Her name is Melissa and I highly recommend her.Other than Melissa, I have repeatedly had very strange experiences with the male therapists at Massage Envy, and I think they need some reeducation as to what kind of behavior/conversation is appropriate with a client.

I went today and Elaina did my massage and I feel absolutely amazing! I have a lot of back pain and she worked through the knots and I have so much relief. Thank you so much for listening to my needs and far exceeding them! I would highly recommend her and look forward to seeing her in the future!

From the phone call scheduling my appointment until the moment I walked out of the door, Massage Envy in West Chester went above and beyond to make sure I received the best experience possible. I had never received massage before, but even the questions they asked me over the phone made sure I was put with the appropriate therapist to relax. I mean seriously relax.. I enjoyed it so much I joined the wellness program, then I rescheduled another appointment for a few weeks later! Cant wait!!! Thank you Massage Envy!

Mariah delivered a safe and comfortable facial. She was friendly but not too talkative, conducive to relaxing. My face feels clean and soft. She offered helpful suggestions for follow up treatments. She did a great job! Thanks Mariah! 🌸

I love visiting Massage Envy! Angela is phenomenal. I have a toddler who loves to play rough and does a number on my back. I feel wonderful after visiting! Its almost as though I wasnt body slammed multiple times last week for no reason.

If you are looking for a deep tissue massage, Zach is your guy! He is very knowledgeable and will work on problem areas that need attention. He cares about his clients and will spend the necessary time talking about your care. He also offers stretching and after care techniques that get you feeling better much faster. A deep tissue massage can be painful at times, so if you are looking for a more relaxed massage, this location has other therapist available as well.

Steven did and an excellent job checking me in and following up on an appt we made in the future. Tanisha was also incredible. She worked out all my kinks. I feel so good today!

This was my first time at this location. Check in was smooth and quick. Staci was able to pull up my chart from the Mason location and get all my preferences. Very good massage. It was a great way to start the day.

My husband and I scheduled a couple’s massage several weeks in advance. On the day of our scheduled massage (4 hours prior), we received a phone call stating that one of the therapists would not be in. We were given the choice of re-scheduling for a different day or for one of us to get a facial instead of a massage (the services were not even offered at the same time). It’s extremely unprofessional that a company who would charge cancellation fees for same day cancellation would cancel on it’s customers the day of and only offer any apology. We rarely get massages, maybe once a year, and were really looking forward to it. What a disappointment, especially when my husband and I re-arranged our schedules to have a relaxing massage together.

She wore gloves for head and scalp, which was ok, and she did ask (for head only). She continued with them the entire time. They were the cheap plastic ones. They scrunch up and you can feel and hear it. MOSTLY I told her that my main concern was my left back-Sapulpa and sciatic pain. I said no to feet, but she did it anyway. She asked quite the entire time, like can I stretch my legI asked her for increased pressure, medium but continued with light pressure. My back feels WORSE today. I did tell the receptionist.

First massage ever gotten and it was a horrible experience... Karen: was coughing and had a runny nose entire time so i couldnt not fully relax, she used one hand during my massage and would lean over me to do different part of my back placing her entire weight on me, she used one hand during most of my back massage (felt like i was getting a back rub from my significant other or parent). noticed a towel laying on the ground that she picked up and placed on the back of my head. i was told i would get a call with a GC but have not heard back. Chinese touch is better.. at the mall. literally.

Went there this morning for a 9am appt for a firm massage. It was the biggest waste of time and money Ive ever spent. The massage was not firm at all and when I asked for a firmer massage during the session I just got a well this is umm thats it. An answer non answer. I was told on the way out that there are 2 people there that do deep massages but that doesnt help me an hour later. Very frustrating. Should have stuck with my usual masseuse in Centerville.

I bought into the monthly planand absolutely love it! Ricky is a great masseuse, is very polite, and does a great job overall. The whole staff is wonderful.

I absolutely love this location. I have been coming here for 6 years! It is such a calm and inviting environment. The staff is very nice. I absolutely love my massage therapist Carla! I always leave feeling refreshed and waaayyy better than I did when I came in the door.

It was my first time at this location and I found it to be very soothing and relaxing. Richard was very professional told me step by step what he was going to do. I was having problems with my neck and I wanted him to focus on that and he did a great job getting that area and helping with my pain. I would use him again in the future!

Be sure to read the fine print. Cancellation of your membership is difficult and requires 10 day notification. Something that is NOT made clear when signing the initial contract. You also will only have 60 days to use remaining sessions. Also something not made abundantly clear at the time of signing the initial contract. Due to a couple of issues (some my fault) I will ultimately end up out close to $200.The therapists are good - but it can be very difficult to schedule with them on a consistent basis, the staff are friendly and the atmosphere is relaxing. I have a busy work travel schedule and cannot always schedule a month in advance which is required in order to consistently schedule with the same therapist. I also suspect working conditions for the therapists may not be great since I have run into turn-over issues with my therapists twice since I started my membership in late 2017.

Weve been members of Massage Envy since 2008, and weve visited over 2 dozen locations between the places weve lived and traveled. This franchise is one of the better run locations. They have a few deep tissue therapists, which are the most requested by regular members.Almost all locations have a good variety of therapists (i.e. Swedish, Relaxation, Deep Tissue, etc.). The problem usually starts with ill trained front desk staff who book customers with just whomever is available and not with the type of therapist they request. This is NOT the case with the West Chester franchise. It is very well managed.You cant go wrong with a membership, first of all. You get discounted rates with just one monthly membership fee, which pays for a 1 hour massage. If you dont use it, you can accumulate your membership massages or combine them for a 90 minute or 2 hour massage.If you find a therapist you like, you may need to book your appointments 2+ weeks ahead. The front desk is more than capable of assisting you, recommending the right therapist for you, managing your membership, etc. They and the therapists are extremely professional.

Angela was amazing! I’ve never had someone that attentive and good at hitting those really sore and tight muscles. After heavy weight training this is exactly what I needed. She deserves 7 out of 5 stars!

Was gifted a massage the other day. It was supposed to be for a full hour. But they tell you to relax and won’t get started for about 15 minutes. Then the masseuse comes in does her routine, but doesn’t address the areas of pain. After a short massage, and no real relief you get dressed with still 10 minutes on the clock. 35 minute “massage”, not therapeutic at all. You’re better off going elsewhere. This is just a corporation taking advantage of people hoping to get good service and instead are provided sub- par service and paying top dollar. Don’t waste your money here. 0/10.

I love coming here. I had a lot of back pain. But, Darla made it go all away. I highly recommend getting a stretching session and a massage back to back. I always felt the stretching session allowed the therapist to go deeper during your massage. And, the front desk has always been great to me.

Each massage I have had with Tanisha has been fantastic . Each better than the one before. Tanisha listens and helps with suggestions for the best results . Janice, the manager is very kind and courteous and is a joy to talk with .

Purchased one hour massage as a gift for my daughter. She went today. 1 pm appt. Took her back at 1:10...massage tech came in at 1:20 or later she did not follow my daughters instructions and was done before 2. I will not purchase a gift card nor will my daughter return.This place is a rip off!

Angela was masterful and I’ve never felt better afterwards. Pressure application to the much needed areas and the gentle touch as needed. Very professional and one of the very best massages I’ve ever received.

I was always hesitant to get a massage but I’m glad I finally decided to come to Massage Envy. I have been dealing with pain for a very, very long and Zach was able to target those areas , get rid of the tight muscles and I have been pain feee for 2 days now. I am so happy and I feel good. I have not been able to say that in over a year.

Extremely disappointing of Massage Envy in West Chester. I gifted my mom a massage here for her birthday and figured I would pay a little more to make sure she had a great experience vs going through Groupon to a random place. When I followed up with my mom about her experience she expressed that it wasnt a great experience and that she didnt get a full body massage. She kept insisting of her pain areas and the lady ignored her. She stated that the masseuses only did one side of her body. It is extremely disappointing to hear of the service my my mom received. (lack of)When I called Massage Envy to get the name of the person who did the massage, the receptionist said that she would take down my number and have management call me. I never received a call from management and its now been 3 weeks. Management at Massage Envy West Chester has also been very disappointing.

Lisa is amazing! I’ve tried a few different therapists and I’ve never been unhappy. The front staff is always friendly and helpful.

I signed up for a membership at this location so I could get monthly facials to help manage my break outs because I have tried everything! I had various staff give me facials and all were knowledgeable and cautious of my sensitive skin. They had great recommendations on products as well. Recently I have not been pleased with services here. I have had my appointments cancelled three times and have been told to reschedule. Due to staff quitting or no longer available this location is unable to schedule facials after 3 PM and on saturdays. I work two jobs one of which requires me to work saturdays and I don’t get off work until 4PM during the week. I am now no longer receiving emails from the manager to help fix this situation. $60 a month is being put at waste now. Back up plans should be put in place so that members are able to schedule services at their convenience. I will not be renewing my membership once it is up, I am very disappointed.

My esthetician Mariah was amazing. Ive been a member for years and honestly I think my service yesterday was the most relaxing experience Ive had to date with massage envy!

Arrived at my appointment on time. Waited 10 minutes for appointment to start, Only to be told that my appointment was not scheduled and the therapist that I was scheduled for it did not work there anymore. Then they said that they called me and left a message none of which was true on the phone now and there was no messages. The manager was very snippy with her apology. Then the next day a manager from a different location called me, Mason location and was very rude to me on the phone. I have a membership with this company and I am going to try a different location other than these two and hopefully I will not have to cancel my membership.

Tanisha @ the west Chester, OH location provides one of the best massages I have experienced with ME. As a member I have accumulated many unused sessions that I’m now taking advantage of thanks to her skills!

Lisa is always professional and takes time to find out my needs for the massage. Everything was perfect. I walked away feeling refreshed, renewed and relaxed.

Staci is by the far the best masseuse I’ve ever received services from. She provides the most accurate amount of firmness and doesn’t mind providing a quiet atmosphere so that I can enjoy my experience ♥️

I am an annual member for more then a year. My wife uses every month. I called West Chester yesterday and set an appointment. She asked me for phone# to hold it and wanted to have my credit card info which I told her that as I was driving will call back which she agreed upon. I also told her that the info is already on your file and you charge me every month. But anyway I called this morning to give my card info but they gave away my time to someone else.Is it worth going back there.....NO.

The front office staff were very pleasant and welcoming. The massage was outstanding. Just the right pressure and a 90 minute massage is definitely the way to go.

I just had a stretch session with Ricky yesterday and I went into the appointment barely able to walk and came out feeling like new! The staff here are always very knowledgeable and helpful with whatever issues youre having!

Ricky gives a great deep pressure massage. The attention to my calfs has helped the neuropathy in my feet. He does a fantastic job.

The manager Lauren went above and beyond to take care of me. Ill always go back to this location and I have referred about 5 friends just because of the service I received from the manager alone. The massage was out of this world!!!!!

Easy to book a massage. Some therapists are more suiting for some styles than others, but all are decent. Respectful of masking/social distancing.

Tim is the best. He knows what he is doing. I have a session with him once a month, he helped me with my muscles problem a lot.

Ask for Tanisha, she was wonderful, perfect pressure and made you feel very relaxed and comfortable.
