My wife and I had a couples massage class with Said this past week. It was a wonderful experience, and he taught us so much! I could not have anticipated the lesson being as thorough and engaging as it was. The entire process was very relaxing and comfortable. We learned many techniques. I would highly recommend this class to any couple who is looking for a unique experience that will pay great dividends in the future. Thank you Said!

Terrible service!Bought massage voucher for my wife to use within a week, only to be told that Said (massage therapist) was booked for several weeks. She is in great pain and needed massage last week or this week at latest...Every time I tried to talk, Said, the therapist got loud and spoke over me. Bottom line he blamed the website anf system errors for the misunderstanding with no empathy or effort to resolve the problem.Based on phone interaction I cannot imagine getting any relief from letting Said do a massage.Trying to get refund, however, as mentioned earlier, my request could not be heard since Said was too busy talking over me.*** BUYER BEWARE!!!!! ******** CANNOT IMAGINE WHERE THE POSITIVE REVIEWS CAME FROM. *********Will update review with any progress and or changes if and when they happen. *****6/10 update: Said is still lacking customer service as he is deflecting ALL blame on the customer. My wife and I do not want anything to do business with Ohlala at this point due to the poor service and personal character of therapist. How can a person relax and get a massage from someone who makes them tense? Please issue refund via Groupon or directly to Visa. Absolutely garbage business practices. My wife booked an appointment here and drove an hour for a massage. Rearranged her whole day. Upon arrival she was told he didnt have time for her prebooked massage and she was told to leave. If you are smart you will stay far away from this business.Also please read all reviews as a lot of them are first time reviewers and have names that are clearly friends of the owner or from his country. At least make up American names if you are going to manipulate the reviews.

I rarely spend money on myself that is not a necessity, after some convincing, this was a birthday gift to myself. Absolutely the best thing I have done in a long time. I plan on another massage next week. I highly recommend Said/Ohala, you will not be disappointed, you will become a regular client.

I just want to start out by saying that that 5th star is only lacking because of location! You can hear some people out in the hallway. Aside from that though I got a deep tissue massage and I could immediately tell that Said, the LMT, had training in sports massage. (I know this because I am a certified equine sports massage therapist). There is A LOT to know about muscle and joint placement and movement and he was simply amazing! I have so many chronic pain issues and this massage made me feel so good afterwards. Also I just had a spinal fusion in the fall so I was a little nervous about pain but he knew exactly what he was doing. Now, for the ladies especially, there was not an instant where I felt uncomfortable. As a survivor I am beyond hypersensitive on issues like this and I know how important it is to feel safe when you are in situations like these. Hands down I have never felt more comfortable with a male massage therapist.

If you’re looking for a nice massage, you need to make an appointment with Said. He is very knowledgeable about topics surrounding health, and so kind. The location is very nice and the experience is very relaxing. If you need “me time”, this is the place to go.

This one is the best massages I ever got. The setting was nice, the service was good, and the massage therapist was just an altogether kind person. I can’t say enough good things about the business. Please go try it yourself so that you can have a great experience!

The experience was great! Said is very professional and personable. I’ve been there twice and most likely will go back again. Had some cupping done along with the deep tissue massage and both times it was fantastic. I’d definitely recommend if you’re in the Chester County area!

Probably the best massive I have ever had. My husband treated me to a 90 min for my birthday and it was amazing. Said was very professional and made me feel completely at ease. The salon suite was calming and immaculate. I will definitely be back.

I have been a client for at least 10 years! I have followed Said and his business every since he opened up in Chadds Ford! I drive over an hour to get his massages and now I also get wonderful facials from his wife! Do yourself a favor and sign up for a massage, followed by a facial for the ultimate pampering experience! I went to Said for a deep-tissue massage. Ive gotten probably a handful of professional massages in my life, and Ive never been back to the same masseuse twice. Leading up the massage, Said was punctual, communicative, and went out of his way to fit me into his schedule around the holidays.The massage itself was excellent! Said made me feel very comfortable, was sure to check in about how I was feeling, and we had an enjoyable conversation. Typically, I zone out and dose off, which makes me miss out on the actual massage. I enjoyed that Said provided a balanced experienced - he kept me engaged and taught me things that could help in my everyday life (like diet, nutrition, etc.), while also leaving me with space to enjoy the massage. The bald, fat and short owner was very rude and misogynistic. He fat shamed me as well as bring up body types of other clients. I felt very uncomfortable and WOULD NOT recommend anyone to go to this place especially if you are a woman.

A first time experience I was left in the room waiting long enough for me get dressed an leave an Mr. SAID was no where to be found. About 10 minutes after I left Mr. SAID text me stating he was in the restroom. Right or wrong he should of let me know he had to do something at the same time he had a client laying in that room .With that being said he rescheduled my appointment for a hour then doesnt text me to come in About 20 minutes after that.

I recently had the opportunity to visit Ohlala Wellness Center in West Chester for a facial with Chaimaa. I rarely do nice things for myself and I was so thrilled that I found this center. It was so relaxing and even a week later, my skin still feels amazing. The facial was wonderful and Chaimaa has such a warm and kind demeaner that really ads to the experience. I will be back for another for sure :)

I’ve been a client of Said for several years and highly recommend him. He is professional. I like that the massage also includes some stretching and can be adjusted to target problem areas where I have pain and tightness.

I am writing this review after having nine 60-minute deep tissue massages over the course of a year or so - typically once per month. I started seeing Said at the recommendation of my Chiropractor who supplied me with written instructions to supply Said to focus on and Said has done just that ... In the beginning, my upper back was locked up tight and the root cause of daily, recurring headaches. Thanks to Said, I have experienced a marked improvement in movement, my previously recurring headaches are GONE and I find Saids massage so valuable to my health, I see him on a monthly basis and look forward to it!Has Said been 10 or 15 minutes late for my always first of the day appointments? Sure, a couple of times, but Life gets in everybodys way from time to time and being reasonably understanding is a very small price to pay for the results Said has produced. Saids massages always go the full hour and it never ceases to amaze me how the time passes so quickly and enjoyably. Reading the 1-star reviews of a bunch of Karens who never actually had one of Saids massage is both disappointing and unfair to a nice guy like Said who is always polite, kind and focused on meeting my specific needs. Seriously, how do you review a masseur when you havent had a massage!?

Ohlala is a my go to place to relieve tension in my body and mind. They recently expanded their services to include esthetician services. I had a facial from Chaimaa and it was the best, most relaxing facial I ever had. She took great care in creating a calming environment from the lighting, fragrances, music and her gentle facial massage. It was so soothing.

I have been coming to the center for over a year. Every time I come in the place is well kept and clean. The massage is always wonderful and includes stretching throughout the massage. I also love that the massage is head to toe so nothing is skimped over! Scheduling issues have occurred, but they have always been rectified.

The owner, a Moroccan immigrant named Said, has been my massage therapist for about a decade. He is exceedingly gracious, exceptionally attentive to client preferences, and welcoming to any requests based on changing needs. He has been very accommodating when it comes to scheduling, too! He is thoroughly professional and massages are now both therapeutic and socially enjoyable like seeing an old friend. I highly, and wholeheartedly recommend Said and Ohlala Wellness Center.

I’m typing this as I sit in the lobby where this vendor is located. The client experience is anything but pleasant. As a matter of fact, he added to my stress in less than 7 mins of interacting with him.First, my appointment time was changed from 10:45 to 10:30am a few days before the appointment. I was fine with it.On the day of the appointment, as I’m driving here, he texts me that he’s going to be 15 mins late- so I’m back to my original appointment time. Again, fine as I am driving around trying to find the place anyway. . It’s not so much that I was lost as that the location is on one of those co-share / co-location situations. The sign on place is My Salon Suite, multiple providers rent suites. Anyway, I text him to ask where exactly he is located. Instead of just telling me, he texts me to look at my confirmation email or Groupon voucher. Seriously???? You take the time to text me to look at the voucher online instead of just saying “the office near LA Fitness, door for My Salon”???? Make it make sense. It should have been that simple.In the meantime, he arrived at the location. Texts me that he’s there. I arrive. I sit and wait. Anyone with any knowledge of client experiences would ensure that the client, upon arrival should be at least, greeted and provided information. I sit in the lobby waiting for him. I use the buzzer. I text him that I am here. He texts “ok”. Again, client experience is ignored. All he had to do was come out of his suite, walk to the 30 steps and say, “can you give me a few more minutes, I just arrived and need to get the place ready for your appointment.” I would have waited patiently, no matter if it was 10 mins or even 20 mins. Why? Because Client experience and respect of my time by making connection in that method. It’s literally customer service 101.Instead, I get tired of waiting (bc he texted he was in the office and I had buzzed his suite 2x to no reply). I walk down to his suite. He’s in there with lights off and on the computer. He comes to the door with an attitude of “I told you to wait in the lobby.” It is at this point that I can actually feel my stress level increase. As I walk back to the lobby, he follows me. The negative interaction continues and he tells me he can’t massage me. I ask him to please give me some space so I can center. He stands at the door looking at me.I actually tell him that he is not providing a good client experience and he doesn’t even understand the concept. I don’t think he will even understand why our interaction went so wrong and how he contributed to it. I know that my muttering under my breath “ummm okay” didn’t add positively. I’ll own my part.I exchanged my voucher.Please note: as I was entering to walk to his suite, a woman coming out asked me if I needed help. I told her who I was there to see and she rolled her eyes and said, “oh, him. Yeah. That’s why.”I’m sure he’s a good masseuse but I wouldn’t know. All I know is that his interaction with me today added to my stress level in under 5 - 7 minutes. Perhaps lessons in how to provide a client experience starting with texting to when the client exits the center is in order.I am extremely sensitive to service providers and allow a lot of leeway. With this vendor, it was too much to bear and his continued negative energy with me was much to be desired.I was so looking forward to a relaxing 90 min massage but now I drive home more stressed than when I left. And I drove 25 mins to get here.

The massage was fine, but the things Said said made me feel eally uncomfortable and unsafe. Youll see below him trying to defend myself - I believe that he doesnt think he did anything wrong, but he absolutely did. He told me that Jews control the media and the U.S. government. When I tried to call him on this antisemitic conspiracy theory, he said he cant be antisemitic because he has Jewish friends. He told me all Jews are rich, and laughed at my comment that Jews can be poor, too. You must mean middle-class.I felt really uncomfortable and unsafe. He says below that he doesnt share his thoughts unless I have been asked my opinion, but I can assure, I did not ask my masseuses opinion on Jews or any other minority. When I shared Id been to Morocco, he asked in what context - I said on a trip to learn about Jewish history in the region, and clearly he took that as adequate permission to regurgitate conspiracy theories. He told me that Jews control the media and when I tried to politely share my discomfort with this lie, said, come on, everyone knows. I didnt feel like I could say anything further, especially not in my vulnerable state! He also told me that there is a strong LGBTQ lobby in America, and that we shouldnt care so much about LGBTQ rights, he talked about sex, and he said women shouldnt work for 2 years after having a baby. (Not a few weeks like he says below.)Unfortunately, I think he feels that the conversation we had was perfectly normal. In my opinion, this makes it worse - hes not at all open to realizing that he holds opinions which are not only factually incorrect but also hateful and damaging - any negative review is the other persons fault. What I experienced was so inappropriate, wrong, and discriminatory! I strongly encourage people to avoid this business.

I had a deep tissue massage here. They only have one male massage therapist. He is an experienced professional and knows what he is doing. He gave me a full body massage and also asked me for the feedback on pressure. The massage was overall relaxing and soothing. The only thing was he kept on conversing the whole time and I had to respond. I would have preferred a little less of that. The therapist changed my appointment at the last moment and I had to come back the next week.

Never again. I actually tried this place twice and each time it was the same song and dance. Appointments being changed around because he couldnt do the original date we scheduled. Then texts that hes running late and will be there in 10 minutes. And then he talks non stop during the massage and doesnt allow you to relax. Talks a TON about himself. I asked for certain areas to be worked on and it was ignored. Not worth the hassle. Said thinks very highly of himself and doesnt care about professionalism.Update and added: Of course Said replies on the defense, and always with an excuse. Said - take the constructive criticism! Your massage was not worth my time after two tries of the same song and dance. When you text me 45 minutes prior to my apmt that you’ll be late, what choice does one have? You treat people like only your time is valuable. I gave you a fair chance two times, and you blew it. There are tons of places where I can get a great massage. Places that dont change times an hour before and text me to tell me that they are running late. No thanks!

I’ve been to many different spas and chain spas but nothing compared to the massage I received at Ohlala Wellness Center. Said made me feel extremely welcomed and comfortable and he incorporated different stretches in the massage to target my back pain and I left the appointment with relief from my pain! Not only that, but it was by far the best and most relaxing massage I received. Being a health coach, Said was able to incorporate knowledge into the massage that other masseuses do not. If you’re looking for a health coach, massage, or any other wellness service, don’t hesitate to make an appointment. I will definitely be visiting Ohlala again soon!!

I bought a Groupon for a massage at Ohlala and contacted them to schedule my appointment. They informed me that the first available appointment was one month later. While I was disappointed that it could not be sooner, I scheduled for the date a month later offered. I took off work for the day and was very much looking forward to my massage when the day finally arrived. Then, only a few hours before the scheduled appointment, they contacted me and cancelled. In speaking with the individual who contacted me to cancel, he was both not understanding as to why this was upsetting to me (especially given the reason why they cancelled) and was unwilling to be flexible to find alternatives. Groupon was able to refund me, but I wanted to warn others lest they find themselves experiencing the same poor service.

Never received my massage. Appointment kept getting cancelled then I was getting texted at 1130pm about send my Groupon code. Groupon says not to open the coupon until time of service. So yeah that was weird and they never have to worry about me again.

Hate to be that person who writes a bad review but Ohlala was very unprofessional dealing with me. I had an appointment at Ohlala and I arrived 15 minutes prior to the appointment (although the email stated to arrive 10 minutes prior). I rang the doorbell a few times with no answer and went back to my car to give it a little time. I then called Ohlala on my phone 3 times with no answer, then went back and rang the bell again with no answer. Sent an email at the time of my appointment and waited a few minutes for a call but did not receive one. When I left to go back home I was finally called back and was told that the masseuse was in the bathroom and I shouldve gave him the benefit of the doubt and waited an extra 5-10 minutes. Ive never heard that from anyone in my years of customer service. I would never show up after my clients... never. Please also note that I did not have a good experience here but I did not receive a massage and for all I know he could be a great masseuse and have a strong clientele base. Just stating my experience.

Just the booking process was more complicated than it needed to be.After about 3 days of back and forth, rather than just sending me his availability. Then when he gave me an appointment, he needed to reschedule because he didnt realize I had a 90 minute massage scheduled, even though that was made clear in the first email. We had purchased two massages and he refused to serve us both in the same day, I assume because we had a Groupon. If you dont intend on treating all your customers with the same respect, maybe dont post your business on Groupon? This business also doesnt seen to have any other employees, hence the constant array of issues, but they also lack a female massage therapist, which is a huge red flag as a woman. Women should have the option of a male or female massage therapist.After reading several reviews across the internet, I decided to cancel my appointment. This guy just gave me a bad vibe right out of the gate and Im glad I trusted my gut.

It was the worst massage Ive ever had. Firstly, was 20 minutes late to stay and didnt go close to the full hour. Second, Im not sure who trained him, but he has no idea what he is doing. Very fast, aggressive movements for everything. Did not work on any problem areas that he asked about. I left feeling way worse than when I started.

I had a great 90 minute massage with stretching. Said is very experienced and knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable. The suite and the facility is VERY clean and very safe. Originally found on Groupon. I purchased 2 more 90 minute sessions I was so happy.

Contacted the shop to schedule an appointment. Got on the schedule and then mention that I have a Groupon and from that point forward I was treated like a under class citizen. I was scolded for not sharing this information first and then I was told that I could no longer have the original appointment and I had to push out my appointment three weeks since I was not a paying customer. Little did they know I was in the market for a new full-time massage therapist. AVOID and give business elsewhere.

I have had a bad back for over 10 years which required me to have a spinal fusion. About 3 years later I was again in pain and was searching for something that would alleviate my pain and keep me off the table. I found Said at Oh La La. He gave me medical massage and I have been going to him for over 2 years now. He has helped me tremendously. His knowledge of the body and how things connect is amazing. Every time I go there he listens to my issues and addresses them completely. I cannot recommend this spa enough. It has kept me out of the doctors office and more importantly from getting another operation. He is professional and kind. I am a client for life!

I bought a Groupon for a massage. I tried to book online but the option was not available. I called and it went to voicemail. I emailed and they wrote back they do not have a female massage therapist. Seems they might have just the one. Anyway, its a real shame they dont say this upfront, as its an important bit of information. Fortunately, I could get a credit from Groupon.

Horrible experience. I booked an appt. on their website with a date and time that said available. Said texted a day before my appt and cancelled saying he wasn’t available. I bought three massages off Groupon, when I called to redeem I was sent a text from the therapist that he could fit me in for certain day and time, I said okShowed up for appt., he took my Groupon verification started the message, took a call 5 minutes in and told me I was not getting a massage as his other client was there and he thought I was her when he started! He said that since he had not responded with a verification email, I was not on his scheduleVery unprofessionalI asked for a refund, he had no cash, so he supposed to mail a check… wonder if I will see that money

I felt discomfort in my lower back and felt improvement after only 2 light therapy sessions. I also had a 90 minute massage that was relaxing and enjoyable. I would definitely recommend Oh La La Moroccan Spa.

I went for the first time a few days ago. The therapist (Said) is very knowledgable. The massage was great, but the stretching took it to the next level. I felt great afterwords and would recommend booking.

I went there with my shoulder in knots and a lot of pain. After the massage, I was greatly improved and no longer had to take pain medicine. Will go again.
