Ive been coming here on and off for years- never had a bad experience! Theyre always friendly and eager to help!

I tried to get the two people working there to describe the difference between CBD Delta 8 and Delta 9. As I was looking for something with zero THC, they kept handing me things that the package said contain THC but they were telling me it didnt contain THC. Unless you know exactly what youre looking for when it comes to CBD or Delta 8 or Delta 9, I would avoid this place

Hi I came in today, and Grace was working. She was an excellent help with finding me what I need. I would get down on my hands and knees to have that great of a service again.

Went to try some of their Disposable vaporizer products, Was very warmly greeted by incredibly friendly and informative staff member, Delton, Who not only made great conversation but also assisted me with any and all questions that I had regarding the product in an efficient and time friendly manner. Whoever runs the shop needs to give that man a raise. Because honestly he deserves it. Way to go Delton. Ill be back solely based on the Top of the line service that I received

First time there and I literally came in complaining about how stores be doubling their money on vape pens and they sold me a pen for cheap. Thanks! Really needed that. College is rough.

Always a great selection always a friendly staff and Ive been ripped off by a few stores in the neighborhood before finding this gem. If you havent checked it out yet I suggest you give it a try

Very rude customer service girl. She sold me the wrong pod even though I asked for a specific kind. Went back to just get the correct pod- (I knew I’d have to pay for it) her attitude is what sent me to supreme smoke right across the street.

The employee Paris is what gives this review a High rating. His knowledge of the products and general good vibes made me feel way more comfortable with the process. Will definitely ask for him again

Came here to visit from Lake Charles Louisiana and I got the best customer service experience from Ashanti , she is soooo nice and bubbly and that’s good for business! I’ll definitely be back!!

Awful experience, I will never shop here again.I came in asking for a male bowl piece, the employee showed me larger female pieces. When I wasnt sure if that was the correct size I showed her pictures of my water pipe that I had bought from this shop for a size reference and made a point to say that the piece was a male and slid into the pipe not over. She was confident in her selection after seeing the picture and sold me a female. I went home to test it, it did not fit because I needed a male.Not even 30 minutes after purchasing this piece I returned and the same employee tried to sell me adapter pieces after already selling me the wrong piece to begin with. Everything she pulled looked bigger than the one she had sold me which was the issue. I was then informed that they dont even sell male bowl pieces. I then asked for a refund, they said they dont do refunds on glass pieces.I then asked to file a formal complaint because this whole situation was so frustrating, I went in explicitly saying I need a male bowl piece, without being told that they dont carry those they sold me a female, after realizing the mistake they refused a refund and tried to sell me even more stuff. After getting the GM on the phone they said that even though it IS a female, its apparently labeled as both male and female so they would not refund it or give me store credit.You made a mistake, wasted my time and money, and continued to try and get more money out of me. I used to love this smoke shop but I will never shop here or at your franchisees again. Horrible customer service and knowledge of products.

Katlin was excellent and oh so helpful. Her product knowledge is expert level! Her expertise was key in helping me pick from their vast selection. You can tell that Katlin is someone who truly cares about the people she interacts with and ensures that she is helping them find the exact product that theyre looking for. After reading some of the other reviews here on Google, I was sad when I learned of their alleged mistreatment of employees. If this is true, it breaks my heart because excellent employees like Katlin are why I will be a repeat customer at High Life. Secondly, their prices are great. I was able to get this nice light blue pipe for about $10!

Ja’my took their time with me finding a new pod for my device. They were patient & funny. I also met Krystal, the manager, she clearly trains her team well on customers service & product knowledge.

Not horrible customer service but the customer service wasn’t there for sure. Wanted to buy something they had and the moment it wasn’t coming up on the register when scanning the item, it was a dead end. Price, upc everything on it but just a dead end. No effort on really trying to fix the situation other than calling someone. Went across the shopping center to the vape shop and got wonderful customer service with out a hesitation.

Fantastic service! I was helped by the manager, Lotus. They were very helpful in helping me find what I needed. I’ve recently moved to town and needed a new place to get coils for my Vaporesso mod but I had no idea what coils it used, my old smoke shop knew me well and which coils I used, so it was a great relief when they had what I needed in stock for a really good price too! Definitely my new go-to place

Great place, very friendly and knowledgeable staff. The good news is they have pretty much everything you need for your hookahs. Plus a good variety of incense at a very fair and I dare say cheap price. For those of you who are looking to get sage... You have come to the right place. The only bad I have is it can be tricky to find as it is in a shopping circle or horseshow as I like to call it and parking is not bad. However the store can look like its closed when its open. But call ahead if you want something specific and they can tell you If they have it or not to save you time and travel. One more thing they have another location in monkey junction.. the only issue there is parking.. can be a real headache at times... But the store.and staff are amazing and the layout makes it so easy to find things and navigate around.

James was able to help me find some great flavors and make excellent suggestions as what to buy. Appreciate his insight and product knowledge as well as his friendly, jovial nature. Will definitely be back.

Good price on what I was looking for! Only thing that annoyed me was Ive always bought a certain product from them for years (since they were expressions)...they were out one time I stopped in and they kept assuring me that they would get more in (popular item) everytime I was in town I would stop and it would be same thing (out, it was ordered, they will be ordering, etc...) so now I order product from Amazon. And since Amazon doesnt let me down theres not much reason to stop by here so much...

DO NOT TRUST THIS SHOP. After explaining this was a DUD pack. Not a single Q-tip with Rubbing alcohol.. after explaining I live 40 min away and I only shopped at there store...Manager(new manager) told me she couldn’t replace it for a new one because its been more then 5 days(7 days)best she could do was a discount on my next purchase on the product. They dont mind the customer biting the bullet. . def would recommend Althea’s Attic over this chained business. The employee’s care over there

The stuff they have in shop is good quality. Its a little on the pricier side but thats whatever, its not by much and its aight for the stuff they have in stock. The workers tho, man. I dont know if maybe the guys Ive come in contact with were having bad days or something but every single time Ive been to this location I have felt spoken down to by the male staff. I came in looking to buy a certain size waterpiecw and the whole time the dude is telling me what Im looking for is in fact NOT water pipe but a BOWL. I eventually just had to walk away and find what I came for bc he was no help at all and the whole time spoke down to me as if he knew more about what I wanted than what I did. Smoke Rings on Kerr has much friendlier staff and lower prices, I think that will be my main place now

This smoke shop is great, but the only reason they get three stars is because they DO NOT accept glass returns..even on UNUSED productsWe purchased an ashcatcher, and while the size was right the angle doesnt work with our water pipe.I totally get not being able to return after using the product, but when you havent even been able to USE the product it should be refunded.37$ wasted and cant get it back because of this.

Bought a female piece for my water pipe, it was the wrong length I showed up 10 mins after the purchase to exchange it for the correct length where the rude staff began to tell me because my boss said so, when I asked for a reasoning, they told me sorry their boss said no. I mean I was there 10 mins ago and he grabbed me a random piece. Super rude staff, because of a mistake made by the employee I am now stuck with a piece that doesnt fit my water pipe and Im down 10 bucks. Avoid this place if you want good customer service.

If I could give zero stars I would. DREW the manager is a horrible sales person and manager. I bought not one but two of their cleansers and neither worked. He asked me to send a picture of the 4 drug tests I took and he tried to tell me I was lying about my results. Now why would I even waste time to call and complain of they were negative???? I have shopped at this store from Charlotte nc to here and after today I will never go back. So disappointed . do yourself a favor and dont waste your money there bc their product clearly does not work and they clearly do not care about customer satisfaction.

I do enjoy High Life as a whole but I have come across a couple of employees that have gone out of their way to avoid customers. I have even walked out of the store when I see they are working. I am not sure who they are but I do know the other employees that go above and beyond.Tonya and Preston are always ready to help with any questions I might have even if its buying some incense or explaining to me about CBD oil.Keep up the good work guys! Might wanna teach your other colleagues a thing or two.

This is a well known tobacco and vape store that has been in Wilmington for quite some time. They are decent overall, but if you wanna save some money they have cheaper options available in town such as K Tobacco and Jungle Tobacco.

I went into Expressions thinking this was the best tobacco store around due to its great reviews. There is no way 16 real customers reviewed this place and gave it a 5/5. Expressions is filled with rude employees, overpriced glass, and they just dont care about you. The reason Im writing this is due to a recent purchase at a different shop. I bought a grinder and they offered so many deals, the employee was talking to me like we were friends, he was explaining everything to me in great detail. I am fairly sure that majority of these positive reviews are from Expressions employees themselves to improve their image. Dont go to Expressions!! Try other smoke shops instead.

I told the lady I needed a new glass piece on my ecig and told her the exact model. I bought 4 for backups. She sold me the wrong ones. So I try taking them back and they told me they dont do returns. I will never step foot back in that place. Rip me off for a few dollars, lose a customer for life****UPDATE**** A YEAR LATER AND STILL NO GLASS EVEN AFTER TALKING WITH THE OWNER ABOUT IT.

They barely seem to know what they are selling and have no personality but they have the best prices in town so I still shop there I prefer a monkey Junction though

Drew and the gang are long time favs in this area. I dont mind the name changes, as the heart of the company stays the same in my opinion. I can remember this place from back in the days when Tex was a piercer here (yeah Im THAT OLD!) Glad to see the place is still up and running. Someone sold me 2 of the wrong coils. I realized they were wrong when I got to my car and immediately went back in to switch them (all Nord coils are the same price and they were still unopened). The cashier said he couldnt switch them? I literally thought he was joking... Weird how theyd rather keep a measly $3 than have a returning customer.

Came back to return a frisbee disc that I ended up not needing the next day (ended up getting a set as a gift). Apparently you cant get refunds here, but they dont mind to tell you that with any signs, on your receipt, etc. Completely unprofessional. Dont recommend going here.

Great selection of products, wide range of quality stuff, affordable price ranges, awesome staff. My only complaint is that this shop is so fragrant that any tobacco products not sealed in a bag ie: gizeh filters, or a pack of papers, soak up the various scents of incense that this shop has always carried, which makes a rolled cigarette not always a good experience.

Im really disappointed in my visit today, where I purchased a vape. As someone who doesnt know much, I was asking questions and I was told they couldnt help me. I kept getting told to refer to YouTube videos. I used it for some of the day and it started to leak, I find out that I was sold one of the vapes with the worst reviews. I should have done more research but I feel like I got ripped off. I wont be going back.

( GO TO SMOKE RINGS ) EXPRESSIONS SUCKS!! as soon as i walked in i noticed an odd shaped female employee giving a older man a hard time trying to decide on a piece (he left without buying anything) and as soon as he left she approached me i asked her to help me i was trying to get an affordable, quality water pipe, she told me my statement made no sense…. when i told her to give it a few secs and think about what Im asking and it will make sense, she stormed off like a child and sent someone else to help me he didnt help, I WENT TO SMOKE RINGS AND BOUGHT AWESOME WATER PIPE I LOVE IT and i dont think the empleyee there ever had to take his pms stress out on customers

I always go to expressions. this is where i buy my incense and all my smoking products. ive been to smoke rings and its okay. they sold me a defective vaporizer, but they did exchange it b/c it was obviously not used. the staff at expressions has never been anything but helpful to me; they have never been condescending or rude. they leave me alone if i say im just looking, which i like. my only problem is it is across town from where i live.
