The Tiny Spa

I booked a reservation online for a facial on a Monday afternoon about a week in advance and was able to get an appointment. This was my first time ever getting a facial and I was not sure what to expect. I got The Nurture and the whole experience was very relaxing. I appreciate that they also did a little bit of massaging during the facial. The entire place was a truly relaxing atmosphere and I would return here again to try another service. I just don’t know if I would get a facial again, but rather stick to massages.

I was looking for a cute local spa to book couples massages for our wedding anniversary and I found The Tiny Spa in a google search. The staff went above and beyond to get us scheduled for our anniversary date. We arrived the day of and were immediately welcomed with the most relaxing, clean, adorable, intimate atmosphere. You leave your shoes and all your stress at the door and step into the cozy waiting area where you can even start relaxing before your spa services begin. Plush rugs, comfy pillows and cozy chairs to sit in while you wait along with being offered cold refreshing beverages. Every detail down to the fresh flowers and decorations were spot on to create a perfect spa vibe. Then the massage itself was next level. Ten stars! I struggle with anxiety and panic attacks and my body is rarely ever in relaxation mode. The soft, warm blankets on the massage table were amazing. The hot towels and gentle smelling oils and lotions were the perfect addition. I chose medium to deep tissue and my back muscles have never experienced anything like it. Best. Ever. My neck feels brand new and there was even a scalp massage aspect. I left feeling all melty and relaxed but also refreshed and energized. I can’t remember a time lately when I’ve actually felt really good health wise and yesterday was the day. I slept really well that night too which is also something I struggle to do well. I can’t recommend The Tiny Spa enough. Whether it’s a couples activity, a girls trip, or you just go on your own they’ve got your relaxation day covered!

I have been meaning to write a review for a while now, which means that I can confidently say that every experience of many that I have had here with Marsha has been absolutely amazing. The spa has a wonderfully peaceful atmosphere in itself- but she is the true gem in it all! I travel for work and we moved from manhattan where I have, over the years, been to many (MANY!) spas. I also have connective tissue disease which causes me to be pretty permanently knotted up, and it makes me a challenging project! - but Marsha has a knowledge and intuition about the body unlike anyone else I have been to, and has given me the most consistent relief that I have ever had the pleasure of experiencing. On top of that she is an incredibly kind, empathetic, and compassionate human being. The rare kind that you get this instant sense from that you’re in good hands and with someone that truly wants to make a positive impact in your day (which is quite important when your goal is relaxation!) I truly cannot recommend her highly enough! (Just please leave me some appointments because I simply cannot go without her!)

Finally booked my first and definitely not my last service after receiving a gift card for Christmas. A year out from a serious injury that came with a long recovery, I was apprehensive about a 60-minute massage but Chae was INCREDIBLE. 11/10 recommend. Extremely knowledgeable, attentive, and professional, she explained what to expect at every step and was super welcoming. The space was cute, very clean, and relaxing. Looking forward to my first facial next week and will be booking my next massage with Chae ASAP. The experience was easy from start to finish - online booking, finding the spa, parking, and payment.

First of all, I didn’t even want to tell anyone about this for fear that I wouldn’t be able to book future appointments. But the experience was SO lovely, I knew I couldn’t gatekeep.Immediately, everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Both Jessica and Lisa were so sweet and made you feel like you were just hanging out with girlfriends. The atmosphere is lovely, and the wine didn’t hurt ANYTHING.Jessica started by asking me what I was looking for in a facial and what I’ve liked in the past. After getting comfy, she came in and the magic began.She started by slowly easing me into relaxing (which is no small feat). The smells and sounds were lulling and she gently rubbed muscles to make me conscious of the tension.The facial started quite normally. Cleansing and such. Then she cleared my pores with some magic device that didn’t hurt, but I was super cognizant of the fact that it was doing something good for my face.After that came what felt like maybe a toner, and then a VERY soothing mask. Different areas of the face were given different attention. I have an oily T zone, so I could tell that area was treated differently. It felt lovely. So relaxing.THEN! She rubbed my FEET! What?! Absolutely decadent. After rubbing the lotion in and massaging my legs and feet she wrapped them in a warm, damp cloth. It was divine.THEN!!!! She started on my hands!! What?! Hands and arms were treated with a wonderful massage and rub and then the SHOULDERS! She then took a warm towel and wiped down the arms and tucked them gently under the covers like a newborn.When I tell you I couldn’t have gotten more relaxed….I was absolutely WRONG. She started in on my neck. Are you KIDDING?!At that point she could have stopped the facial, started blatantly rifling through my purse and I wouldn’t have cared. Take it all! You deserve it!She then gently wiped the mask from my face with a warm damp towel and cleansed my face. I thought to myself, “this was the best facial ever.” I had no idea….She used a light oil and massaged my face, neck AND SCALP! I melted straight into that table. Then she did this amazing pulling thing with my neck and I felt myself drop straight to the center of the earth. Magnificent.She sprayed some lovely smelling mist on my face and I think at that point I had pretty much blacked out so I’m not sure about anything else. I may have spent roughly four hours recovering…I couldn’t say.I made my next appointment immediately. You should too.If you want an immersive experience…this is it. I think she cleansed my soul.Thank you Jessica and Lisa for being awesome hosts. You’ve made a loyal customer.

I booked a 30 min massage with Chae to see if I would like it because I do not normally get massages, just facials. My experience was amazing! They were so welcoming and kind and made me feel completely at ease! I was completely relaxed afterwards and wished I would have booked 60 mins. Thank you!

My first time here and first good massage in NC. Chae was very attentive, had great energy, and made a overall good experience. There is also a very relaxing ambiance here. I will be returning soon.The downside is getting someone on the phone is impossible. This is very aggravating when I need assistance and the methods of communication they offer takes days to receive a response.

If you want the best massage in town you have to go see chae at the tiny spa! The studio is so cute and makes you feel at peace the second you walk in. Chae’s hands are magical and she creates such a comfortable environment. I always leave feeling refreshed, relaxed, and ready to book my next massage.

This is my go-to place for massages. Chae is absolutely amazing! I have also gotten waxed here and am planning to get my first facial soon. The staff are wonderful and the space makes you feel relaxed from the second you walk in.

Me and my boyfriend received a 30 min massage from Chae and a 30 min facial from Faith and both were exceptionally. The place is so cute and clean. You really feel like you’re having a spa experience. Communication and services were great. Staff is wonderful. I highly recommend this place.

I came in for a 60-minute massage and loved every second I spent in this restorative space. Im three-months postpartum - Marsha put me back to together again! Highly recommend both this space and her work.

I booked a “The Social” spa day to celebrate my mothers birthday and Mother’s Day and it was absolutely PERFECT. The spa itself is so cute and makes you feel instantly comfortable. There were three of us and we each got a massage and facial. They have the entire day planned out for you and never did I feel like we were waiting too long in between services.We were served drinks, dessert and they even went out to pick up lunch for us!The massage and facials were both perfect as well. I can’t recommend The Tiny Spa enough! We’re already planning when we can come back for another spa day, we loved it so much!

Received a gift card to the Tiny Spa for Christmas. Went online to book my services which was super easy. When I showed up for my appointment Jessica was ready for me with no wait. It felt very European and the inside was just absolutely beautiful. My services were wonderful, Jessica did such a great job explaining to me what to expect and what each step would be. She also let me know about the of my skin and how to continue carrying for it. I also have a second service with my brows. That went great and she explained what to do and not do to help maintain it. Will definitely be booking with her again.

Absolutely the best in Winston. There is a reason so many people rate The Tiny Spa the highest. Its an intimate setting , you have the feeling that you are their only client . I was given a birthday facial by my husband, i was always hesitant before, but not any more! Lisa was fabulous and I cant wait to go again! I felt relaxed and my face glowed( my husbands words). He now has the answer to what to give me for any occasion! Loved it!!!

Our daughter booked a same day Sunday massage for my wife who tried to call and cancel because she wasnt feeling well but no one answered the phone. She showed up for her appointment and couldnt find anyone, she called out several times but no one was there to answer her! She tried calling again and had her daughter call but apparently a call center must be used as they were never able to contact the physical site of the massage and the representative on site who finally emerged from a back room wearing a sleeping ensemble was certainly not ready for the appointment! She called her supervisor who unbelievably called her supervisor, and passed along an assurance that their supervisor would return my wifes call by later that afternoon. Of course, no one called my wife that day or any day since! Very poor service? These people are now trying to enforce a 48 hour cancellation policy or they will charge 50%! This is certainly not fair and they have indeed charged $47.25 for the pleasure of not answering the phone or being prepared for delivering the massage!!!

The spa is clean and very pretty. I went with a friend and both of our services were wonderful! We enjoyed everything about The Tiny Spa!

I do really like this place, the massage is always wonderful. Its definitely a bit pricey, even when you consider everything is pricey these days. Appointments are convenient and the staff is kind and attentive.

I had a 90 minute deep tissue massage with Kaylee this past weekend and it was hands down the best massage Ive ever had. She was able to address so many areas that were tight and sensitive but also provided a relaxing experience. I will 100% be back to see her!

My 2nd time getting a Brazilian wax and I am super sensitive with extremely sensitive skin down there....Jamie is absolutely amazing!!!! Wonderful experience! This was my very first time coming here & definitely wont be my last. I seen Lisa for my very first facial, and Chaecie for my massage. They were outstanding. They both talked to me about my personal preferences and what worked best for me. They talked over everything with me and made sure I was good the whole time. Very friendly and helpful. Not only is the spa itself gorgeous, zen and very soothing from the moment you enter, the staff is also extremely kind and nurturing. I went in for a prenatal massage one week and came back for a facial the next week! Chae did my prenatal massage and hit every spot perfectly! Lisa did my facial and incorporated elements of massage into it as well as cleansing/hydrating my skin! Quite the hidden gem- perfect for a spa day!

I love the Tiny Spa! Ive seen Jess for just about everything over the past year or two - brow and lash dying and plucking, bikini waxes, and of course her amazing facials. I had such a great experience with Jamie at The Tiny Spa. It was my FIRST spa experience, so I had no idea what to expect. I received a 30 minute facial and 30 minute massage, plus a hand and foot treatment! When I first arrived I waited in a relaxing waiting room until Jamie came out to get me. Once in her room- we spoke about my skin and overall health and how that related to my skin. Jamie was extremely professional through out the entire experience. She told me about each product she was using, what to expect from it (it will tingle, etc) and what it does for my skin.I left feeling great and my skin looked phenomenal. I really enjoyed my experience and plan to go back!

My visit started in the relaxing, quiet waiting space which allowed me to just breathe and be still. Jamie brought me into her beautifully decorated spa room and went over my skincare concerns and treatment goals. Together, we decided on a customized plan for my massage and facial. I just visited for the first time and truly loved my experience. Jessica took exceptional care to make me feel pampered and safe during my visit, and educated on what to do after my visit. My wife wanted a facial treatment at a spa that was relaxing and professional. She found The Tiny Spa online and she was glad she did as it was comfortable from the moment she entered. Jessica did an amazing facial on her dry, winter weary skin. Her technique was comforting and relaxing plus the end results were amazing as her skin was soft, supple and more youthful looking. My experience here at Tiny Spa was exceptional! I was very skeptical about using hard wax but Jamie assured me that it will be less painful than soft wax and she was absolutely right! Jamie at “The Tiny Spa” has been my massage therapist and esthetician for over 5 years. For much of that time, I was a teacher in a very stressful job. Each month, she massaged the aches out of my stiff legs and hips. Now, I’m planning to go back to school. During this transitional time, Jamie’s services are a must-have stress-buster. Massage day is my favorite day of the month! I also rely on her for my waxing needs- she is always accommodating and highly professional. Her demeanor is so soothing and inviting. I received the Deluxe Facial from Jamie with the LED Light Therapy as an add-on service. Jamie did an excellent job and is very knowledgeable. She makes sure you know what step she is always doing and what products she is using. The services are very well priced for each treatment! Highly recommend scheduling an appointment!

I went for my 1st Brazilian wax and Im so thankful I chose The Tiny Place. Lisa was so professional & friendly she made me feel comfortable and guided me every step of the way. I started with Jamie at The Tiny Spa back in 2020, and I have loved every aspect of this business until today. I wholeheartedly understand that I was late (but normally am and my esthetician is usually 5-10 min behind so it works out). Today I was running later than usual due to a major traffic project on 158 that had traffic crawling for several miles and even at a dead stop for some time. Once I realized I would be past my appointment time and typical 5/10 min tardiness, I tried to call but with Jamie out I had no way to reach my esthetician directly. Upon parking exactly 15 min after my appt time I received the cancellation text. I was highly flustered and disappointed because I had tired to call, not just Jamie, but also the phone number on the booking appt but was asked to leave a message. Not once was I reached to to confirm that I wasn’t just around the corner or on my way prior to the cancellation. I get that there was an unexpected sibling that joined to a booked appt that arrived early, but the decency to reach out to returning client would have been appreciated. At this rate I’m not sure how I feel about now.

The service was amazing! I had a Brazilian , underarm and leg wax and it was mostly painless. This establishment is very relaxing and the atmosphere is so serene. Even after my service I sat and drank a nice glass of wine and listen to calm in a relaxing chair. Trust me Lisa is the best and she will definitely not disappoint!!

I am a little late making this review but.. I visited this salon a couple months ago and got my very first facial from Jessica and it was the most wonderful experience. She was AMAZING! I’ve never been so relaxed, and she helped me transform my skin. If it wasn’t for COVID I would have kissed her lol.. ladies (or men) if you need some help with your skin or just need to relax book an appointment ASAP, you won’t regret it

I have been Jamies client for five years or so. She has always been the same: very professional and personable. The spa is clean and very quiet, which will lead you to instant relaxation. Jamies waxing technic is unparalleled. I barely feel any pain. In addition, the product line (Comfort Zone) she uses is top of the line. You will leave the spa with beautiful eye brows ready to go to work if you need to. I also have had my waxing done by Whitney. Whitney was trained by Jamie and is also an outstanding professional.

Update: While Im keeping my review posted—it honestly reflects my experience—I can say that Ive never experienced such amazing customer support. The owners reached out to me immediately and followed through with their offer (see response below). They were kind, thoughtful, and generous. Im amazed and impressed. Thank you.----Listen, I’m sure this place must offer some pretty solid services. The atmosphere is lovely (very tranquil!), and the people are quite friendly. But y’all. Maybe don’t go here for a lash lift or brow lami. The woman I saw—who, I’ll give her the benefit of the doubt, was maybe having an off day—totally screwed up my brows. She actually cut the hairs shorter (which I did not want—does anyone actually *cut* hairs during a lami?) and somehow left a small bald patch on one of my brows where she had trimmed the hairs super-short. (I had to fill it in with a pencil until the hairs grew back, which takes longer than you’d think.) They were not laminated, and not even waxed/tweezed neatly. One was also thinner than the other. As far as the lift—it didn’t come out at all. Was completely gone after a couple days, and some of my eyelashes were left crooked/bent in weird directions. (Yes, I’ve had many lash lift and brow laminations in the past with no issues.) I used castor oil for weeks and then went to my usual spot, a dedicated lash & brow business, where they did it properly. All I can say is, lesson learned. That was a lot of wasted money.

Jamie is truly gifted. For the past 15 years, Jamies skilled attention to my skin has been the reason I am told that I look like I am 35....When I am actually 50. I highly recommend any facial treatment that incorpiates roulage. You will be amazed!

Wonderful new location and the atmosphere was nice and peaceful. Jamie made sure I was well taken care of during my appointment with her. The facial was the bomb and I am looking forward to my next visit.
