Hava Le always does great jobs for my hair, my moms and my daughters. She knows how to handle different types of hair and very dedicated on her works.

Annie’s was recommended by my friend Florence, who I’m visiting here for the weekend. I was given Alec to do my nails since my friend’s regular person was not available. I have never done dip powder with tips before, but my man Alec held it down!Super, kind, super professional, ( explaining his process when I had questions) unassuming, made me feel at home, and on top of that, dude knows his craft. I have been a customer of Ms. Java Lee for 20 years. I have always loved her haircuts, so much that I could go to anyone else. Her service is excellent and her positive energy is infectious. I brought friends to Hava, and highly recommend her to everyone who needs haircut, coloring, styling, etc.

Hanalei did an excellent job on my hair. She did exactly what I wanted her to do and I love how she cut it. She took her time and it looks so good. It feels light like I wanted too. I got so many compliments at church yesterday too! ☺️

I opted for a dip manicure with tips and I believe Alex did my nails. She was fantastic. She was kind, asked how I wanted my nails shaped, was funny, and made it feel like a relaxing experience. This was my first time going to Annie’s and I highly recommend them!

I’ve been coming here for almost 6 years and I wouldn’t trade this place for anywhere else. I get my hair, nails, pedicure and lashes done and it’s always to perfection. I am a picky person when it comes to these things and the staff is just always amazing. No complaints!

Alec has been great. He is very kind and listend on how I wanted my hair cut. Not to often am I pleased with haircuts but I come back to him. I finally found my stylist.

Ive had Alec work on my nails twice, and Im going to be hooked for life. He is so good at what he does. He takes his time to make sure the shape is just right. I use dip powder, and it ended up lasting 4 weeks last time. My nails were grown out, but no chips and none fell off. Very happy =)

I wanted te get a fresh cut with a partial balyage something low maintenance. Aden knew exactly what I wanted! He was awesome and very efficient. I am so glad I found this salon gem. The service was excellent I highly recommend.

I’ve been trying to find a local quality salon for quite some time. I actually heard of Annie’s when I noticed another woman’s nails at a bar one night and asked her where she got them done because they looked so great. She said she and her sister and all their friends only went to Annie’s. I gave it a try for the first time yesterday and was really impressed by their cleanliness, professionalism, efficiency, and teamwork. And I finally found a local place that can do ombré nails well! They’re not afraid to learn harder techniques to provide better services. They genuinely care about their clients health and relaxation, and they even gave me tips on how to save money on my nails! Finally, Annie herself is an impressive business owner with fantastic hospitality. She thanked each person who walked out the door and asked if they enjoyed they’re experience. They all said they did and always do! Highly recommend. 💅

Fawn does an amazing job on my nails. NEVER disappointed! I love that she loves what she’s does. We normally have fun with color but this time we did ombré. Amazing!! Aiden (sp) did a beautiful job with my hair. He saved me. I told him what I was looking for. He talked it through with me. Then the magic happened ✂️ The entire experience was relaxing. I will definitely be back when Im in town! I havent been this happy with a hairdresser in years💗

Aiden is great I have very thick hair that a lot of barbers dont know what to do with and he always does a great job.

They did such a good job and had me in and out. Will definitely be going back. I also watched them do highlights on someone while I was getting a fill done and I’ll be going there for my hair also.

Alec was able to follow a video to give me exactly what I wanted a very trendy look called aura nails or ombre nails. I absolutely love the way it turned out.

Nothing has changed from my previous review. I continue to rave about this great place!*Annie’s Salon and Day Spa is a warm and friendly, all-inclusive place to get pampered. There is a loyal clientele which includes a lot of men going there for nail treatments, and I think most everyone I’ve observed shares my feeling that this salon is a very comfortable place to be. I can only speak for the nail services so far. I have gotten my nails done there for over 5 years. My go-to ladies are Mimi and Tracey, but I understand from different clients that all the nail experts are exceptional at all kinds of nail treatments, from simple manicures and pedicures to more elaborate options. I get SNS dipped nails which have proven to be perfect every time.I highly recommend this salon to everyone. Annie, the owner, runs an establishment with class, high professionalism and a desire to win over everyone who walks through her salon doors.

Had a great experience. Someone cancelled their appt and Annie was able to do my nails, & she was so sweet. She did such a great job. The whole place was just really welcoming. Im definitely going back again. Id recommend!

I’ve gone to Annie’s 5 or 6 times now for gel pedicures, and overall I always walk away satisfied. The ONLY reason I’m giving 4 stars instead of 5 is because the tech I had on this one particular visit went a little crazy with the cuticle remover and when they put the alcohol on at the end or whatever it was, girl it burrnnnedd lol I was like I don’t want to say anything because like nothing can change now, ya know? Also, minor complaint, they didn’t ask what shape I wanted so I wasn’t 100% satisfied with the way they did it. Should I have said something? Sure. I guess I’m just used to being asked how I prefer the nails to be filed, so I was waiting..and then it was too late. The tech I LOVED was named Hong I think? So I’ll book with him from now on. I’ll keep using this salon as I’ve never had like a bad pedicure by any means, just small critiques to prevent the 5 stars.

Relaxing! Philip is friendly and consistent with coloring, cutting and styling my hair. Definitely recommend him!

When I relocated to the northern Virginia area it was hard to find a nail salon that I felt like listened to me, didn’t overcharge and didn’t aggressively try to upsell. Thankfully I found Annie’s and have been happy ever since. They offer so many services. It’s a peaceful environment and they always treat my daughter so well when I take her in for a kids pedi.

Been getting my nails done since Annie’s opened years ago. Traci is my tech…best SNS mani ever-thin and lasts for weeks.

Decided to try this salon because I had just moved across the street from it and the reviews were fair. Since school was starting, I brought my 9 yr old daughter here for a haircut and manicure. I had made a same day appt and was grateful they could squeeze her in, especially since it was the day before school started. I appreciate the accommodations and flexibility - the staff that booked the appt were very hospitable. While I booked her haircut, they asked how long her hair was, I explained that it was just past her shoulders. I wanted to confirm the price, and asked if it within the brochure quote ($20-$35) for a children’s cut. They confirmed the brochure pricing was correct. Fast forward to when we got to the salon for the appt. We met the stylist, I explained what my daughter wanted to do for her haircut and he informed us that he wouldn’t have time to blow dry and style her hair. I understood, especially since we ran 5 min late to our appt and they were squeezing her in the schedule. I was fine with this. However, when I went to prepay for the services while she was getting her haircut, the receptionist told me that the bill came out to $55. I asked how much was her manicure, he confirmed $10 with the technician and then said the haircut was $45. To say I was surprised and disappointed was an understatement! I was expecting the $35, if not less since she wasn’t getting her hair styled or blown out. I went back and forth with the manager, receptionist and stylist. The manager denied confirming the brochure price when booking my appt but proceeded to say, the stylist can lower the price to $40. Which in itself for a children’s haircut without styling or drying was steep. I accepted this price to keep it going. However, the receptionist then mentions that her manicure was “actually $15” and they had “misquoted” me. So I still ended up paying the $55 for a children’s haircut that didn’t include a blow out or style and a children’s manicure.Very disappointed in this experience, especially with its proximity to my house. I’m privy to this industry as I had worked in a salon and spa for years. In my opinion, a business should honor the price that they quote. And should make clients aware of the changes, BEFORE starting services. I’d recommend getting a price quote for your services and confirming the costs before getting anything done as they change their price quotes on a whim and tell you you’re wrong when they’re the ones that misinform.My daughters trim only was not worth the $40 I paid, the stylist did not even do what she had asked for.She loved her nails though and her manicurist was great. But again, confirm the prices when you book/get there/before the start of services!

Since it had been a long time since I had a mani/pedi, I decided to splurge. I got everything 🤣 (paraffin, scent, you name it). For my Pedi, I had Hannah; she took care of me 😍 i didn’t want to get up for my Mani. For my Mani, I had Mimi. I’mGlad she picked the color and design cuz what I picked wouldn’t have gone with my skin 🤦🏻‍♀️ Obviously, it cost me but it was worth it. Will be coming monthly. Love this place.

Annie’s salon has been my place for pedicure for several years. Ana is my pedicurist. Think of a person who cares, is knowledgeable, takes time, massages your feet so you feel 10 years younger, nice smile - that is Ana.

UPDATE: My mother and I have been coming to this business since she moved in with me about a year or so ago. We go about ever 6-8 weeks and sometimes we get an OK haircut and sometimes we get a fantastic one. We find that once we get a technician that does a great job, the next time we go in shes gone. However, last weekend was the absolute worst experience Ive ever had. The ladies we liked were no longer there and we got Haza whos never cut either one of us before. She dry cut my mothers hair and styled it and it looked good (my mother doesnt normally style her hair). Then it was my turn. I have wavy/curly hair so I always get a dry cut with no style. She had my head turning every which a way and I could HEAR the scissors working. When it was done, she slopped a half cup of product on my hair and sent me on my way sounding like SNAP, CRACKLE POP. I paid the $55 per cut and left. I got home and rinsed all that crud out and thats when I noticed. That heiffer FAKE CUT my hair. My mother feels the same way. My hair doesnt look any different after she cut it than it did the week before. I do not recommend it and I wont go back because of this and the fact that technicians dont seem to stay and it seems lately like the business is geared more towards nails than hair.

Annie’s is my regular spot for pedicures. I have been going for two years and have no complaints!Easy scheduling, super friendly staff, great service. Tina is the best. And Helen too!

Ask for pricing before going in because consumers should know before booking and wasting their time and the stylist’s.

I went to Annies to get my nails done for prom. I showed Annie a picture of my dress and she helped me pick out a color to go with it. Alec did such a good job with my nails and Im really happy with how they turned out😄

I had a hot stone pedicure. Fantastic! I’ve had many and Annie’s is by far, the best I have had! I would strongly recommend having your pedicures done here.

I’ve been to Annie’s a few times for pedicures and every time was great. Being nail tech myself in a past I usually pretty picky about my nails, but they deliver for me. Place is very relaxing, never overcrowded and clean. Love the fact that they use disposable liners for the basin.

I have been coming to Annie’s for 5 years! I always go to Phillip for my hair, he does an amazing job every time. I have been also getting my nails done each time (super convenient) and the gel lasts the full 2 weeks as expected or even longer. Highly recommend! :)

Don’t go here if you want a high quality cut and color. My hair dresser dyed my hair and left my ears COVERED in hair dye which then left me stained. As she applied the dye she brushed it through excessively hard and stated that she had to do it this rough in order to color it. She then cut my hair unevenly and as she tried to fix it.. she cut way too much off. Not what I wanted.I have never been so dissatisfied in my life.Will not be going back. Wish I could get my money back.

I’ve never been able to have a salon that was my go to because of the military, but now I’m retired and I found my salon!! Annie’s is clean, the staff is awesome, and they produce quality work. Annie is my lash lady, she does a great job at taking care of my lashes and she always does them perfectly. I constantly recommend it to my friends.

Ive been coming to Annies for about a year and Im always treated with the best customer service. All the staff are friendly, prices are reasonable, and the salon is always clean. My favorite tech is Fawn, shes so fun and bubbly and pays so much attention to detail when doing my nails. She genuinely cares about her craft and wants every set of nails she does to be perfect. All of the techs here are amazing, though. I would highly recommend you come to Annies for any services you may need.

I always leave glowing from this place! Great waxing - I’ve only had one so so experience with one eyebrow being thinner than the other. Haven’t had any problems since though. My hair came out great - they know how to cut curls and make them look fabulous!

My hairstylist was Hava and she was amazing. I got a simple haircut but she made me look like a million bucks. She gave her own insight when deciding the length and layers and I loved how it turned out. 💕 I highly recommend her.

I’ve been coming here for a few years and I would recommend this place to everyone. The customer service is so nice and personable. It’s clean and very professional. When I get acrylic nails they would never lift, and I get my hair dyed blonde there and it’s never orange or yellow.

Today was my first trip to check out Annies and I loved my experience. I arrived at 10 am with no appointment and was greeted with a friendly smile and instructions to check in. I hadnt even removed my jacket before Helen whisked me away to her pedicure station. Now, in my limited experience a pedicure is pretty much the same wherever you go so its up to the technician to make the experience. Helen was FANTASTIC! Quick, quiet, professional and thourogh with the detail work allowed plenty of time for her to absolutely PAMPER me with the rundown and massage treatment. I was so relaxed and comfortable that when my polish was dry I had to force myself from the chair. I will definitely return to see Helen for my pedicure needs.As for the shop itself, everything was neat and clean from what I saw. There were numerous stylists working in front on various hair projects and a decent bustle and buzz of activities throughout. That said, at no time did anything feel loud or obnoxious and never was there any rush to clear out a chair for the next customer. I cant promise anything to the next person, but I am definitely a satisfied customer and happy to have found a great pedicure so close to home.

Hands down THE BEST nail experience that I have EVER had in the 10+ years of me getting my nails done! I walked in on a Friday afternoon because I was early for my hair appointment at another salon and decided to get a fill-in while I waited. I searched Google for nail salons near me and Annies popped up. Immediately when I walked in I was greated with a smile and asked what service I needed. After explaining the hombre nails that I wanted to try for the first time Annie herself explained exactly what she would do, told me the price and immediately sat me at her station. She was very friendly and outgoing with me and everyone else who called and came in. While there I also noticed how the rest of the staff interacted with each other and other customers and everyone was smiling, and friendly and they all just looked very well put together with their nice hair and in their all black clothes. I am a visual person so those are things that I notice. Back to my nails though, I LOVE THEM!! Annie did a beautiful job and I would definitely visit that location again when I am back in the area.

Alan was outstanding. I mean really outstanding! Literally the best experience that I’ve had a nail salon. So patient, calm and gentle. This was such a therapeutic experience. And I only got a classic gel pedicure and he still took his time. I messed up the gel on my big toe and he was quick to tell me that it was ok and that he would redo it! Thank you so much Alan can’t wait to come again!

I recently got my hair colored and it ended up being two different colors. Absolutely not what I asked for. Although the staff is very kind, my shirt ended up being ruined by the bleach, definitely not worth the price. I used to recommend this place to my friends, but I will no longer do this. I cannot believe they allowed me to walk out of the salon with my hair looking that horrible.

I could not say enough good things about Allen. He is so amazing! He is meticulous and does such a great job. He is also so kind.

This is my second experience with Annies Salon. It was still a great experience as the first. I took my daughter in to get a mani and pedi for her very first time. Today is her 4th birthday. The 2 gentleman that did our nails were wonderful. They treated my daughter and myself with so much kindness. The rest of the staff were engaging and kind as well. The only thing is I hope they will invest in a childs chair in the future. The reach was a little tricky for my daughter. But the gentleman that did my daughters nails got her a nice pillow to help support her back. Definitely very kind and thoughtful staff. I have found my permanent salon. Thank you!

Excellent team who does quality work!! Getting service at Annies salon is a joyous experience overall..the best Ive experienced in Northern VA without having to pay high prices to get it. Ask for Mimi, Helen, or Annie to get your nails done. The service is wonderful and they treat you like family.

First visit, terrible visit. If I paid $70 for my nails they should be exactly how I want them. The tech was too argumentative, you do what I am paying my money for - not want not what you want to do!!They don’t listen to the customer, over priced for services they don’t know how to do as I was asked several times to see an ombre’ picture!! She cut my nails down from medium to short but didn’t cut down the price. My nails have looked better for less.

Got a wash, hair cut of like 6-8 inches with layers and the best blow out I have ever gotten in a salon. $55 wth, amazing service, amazing finished product. Everyone is extremely professional and sweet. I also get my nails done here and they killed that too.

I went to Annies on 5/7/18 for the first time. She did a wonderful job with color and set. The shop is clean and well organized and Annie is an extremely helpful and caring person. I have gone to very high end shops in the past and her salon is equal to these shops. I am delighted that she is now in this area and look forward to more visits.

I love Annie! She originally worked at Solace Day Spa. When I learned that she was no longer there I tracked her down. She is a proud owner of her own salon. She offers top notch service. I go to Annie for lashes and I am pleased with my service each time. I love how professional, kind, and sweet she is. Those qualities are hard to come by in this profession a lot of the time. She puts a lot of time into her business and you can tell how passionate she is about it.

Phil has done amazing colors to my hair! A balayage of purple and blue on my black hair and he covered my grays. Phil is kind, professional, and I trust him completely. Every time I go here, its a wonderful experience. The end result keeps getting better each time I return! I went yesterday to get SNS with a gold French tip and my nail technician, Stephanie, went above and beyond to make it look just like I wanted. She made a custom powder and did a separate gel tip. I just had a vague idea and she made it happen without hesitation. All of the staff there are well equipped and personal! I highly recommend this place, I know itll be my go-to salon for as long as Im in the area.

Im providing a 3star review because the staff was friendly (for the most part) and it was clean. This was my first and last visit. Went for an acrylic fill-in, and I am less then pleased with the end result. Asked for coffin matte nails and one silver/black glitter nail. Showed the nail tech the picture and the told me she could do it. Long story short, my nails are streaked, lumpy, uneven tips, not to mention she seemed annoyed when I pointed out areas that she missed on my nails. Spots of polish shown through the matte polish. If I am paying $40+ for a service, Id like to be happy with the results. Ill post what they shouldve looked like and what I left with.

A great first experience!My daughter and I booked same day appointments for a full set & pedi. Upon arriving we were greeted & checked in. The facility was very clean and serene. Awesome place for someone who needs a relaxing environment.My pedicurist Alan did a phenomenal job with my pedicure. He didnt rush, instead took his time working on my feet. He has AMAZING massage hands which added to my experience!My daughter got a full acrylic set done by Fon. She had a very pleasant experience as well. Her nails looked really good upon completion. Shes a teenager so I was happy that they werent to long.Overall a wonderful experience. The reason I didnt give 5 stars is because unlike other customers, I wasnt offered a drink or snack until someone who came in after me was offered one. Other then that this place is our new go to.However I will definitely recommend and be coming back here in the future.

Came here to get my eyebrows waxed and tinted. Left with just my eyebrows waxed. I wanted to get my eyebrows tinted, the usual place I go to is out for the summer, but they told me I would need my eyebrows bleached… which makes no sense to me as this is not my first experience with eyebrow tinting and I never had to get my eyebrows bleached. The lady’s explanation made no sense. Why would I bleach my eyebrows just to tint it to the same color I have now? They did a good job cleaning up my eyebrows, that’s why I still left 2 stars.Edit: I wanted black eyebrows like I have now. The lady was not understanding what I was saying, I even showed her a picture but I kept getting interrupted by her explaining on why I need to bleach my eyebrows. If I wanted my eyebrows dyed, I would have said dyed not tinted.

My first time here and everyone was professional, the salon was clean, tools were sterilized and everyone was super nice. Fawn did my pedicure and my daughter’s manicure. She was awesome! We will be coming back!

I called ahead and scheduled an appointment and to make sure they offered chrome nail colors and they do. When I arrived, I picked my colors we started right on time. Annie welcomed me and guided me thru the whole process and did my gel refill. She was very gentle and paid attention to details. She was very invested in making sure I was satisfied with the colors and she even upsold me the glitter polish and a new spring design she has for her customers. She helped me calculate whenever I asked about price and what I would end up paying for things we kept adding.The original glitter color was not what I thought once she started and she willingly removed it with no problem and helped me find the perfect match to what I was looking for. She understood the vision I had for my nails and was very accommodating. I normally dont like to speak up for fear I will upset the nail tech but she welcomed any concerns that I had so I’d be 100% satisfied BEFORE leaving. And I was! I never felt rushed. I was happy with my upgrades and my vision was as beautiful as I’d planned it to be. 💕***Unfortunately, I didnt learn about a Covid fee until check-out, by asking for the break down of my expenses. I was disappointed because after all of that talking, no one told me of that fee. Maybe it’s posted but I definitely didnt see it. It’s $5 but that makes a difference if you have a budget plan.

Im a long time patron of Yvonnes and have always been welcomed and felt a warm cozy feeling with friendly wonderful service. I visited What is now Annies Salon today for a simple pedicures. Upon arrival I was hovered around while choosing my nail color and had a rushed pedicure, all of 15 minutes from when I walked through the door was I leaving.The changes in decor feel cold and uninviting and the girls look uncomfortable in their evening cocktail garb consisting of high heels and fancy black dresses.I love Lee and Yvonne and will travel to Yvonnes Crystal City location hoping to find the love and service that was once held in the Alexandria location but like all good things is a thing of the past.

I love Annie they’re so warm and nice.they go above and beyond for they’re clients.Annie always checks in to make sure you’re getting the best care. Alan is amazing he takes his time and asks questions to make sure he’s giving you what you asked for…

My husband and I have been patronizing this salon for almost 4 years. It is clean and well maintained and the folks that work there are friendly and accommodating. Our hairdresser, Annie, is the very best - she listens to our requests and does an incredible job!!! Our high recommendations for this Salon.

Great place. My husband had his first pedicure and manicure from one of the gentlemen who works there. He said they were great. My mother was with him and also got a pedicure and she loved the place. I will be going there in the future for my nails and possibly a haircut.

Do NOT go to the older man! He is stuck in the 80s and does not listen! He did my eyebrow tint and left dye on my forehead and cheeks not to mention my eyebrows are messed up! I used to love this place but will not go back! Save your money and go elsewhere!

I got an SNS for the first time here and it turned out gorgeous! Miss Tracy was incredible, she attention to detail was above and beyond what I expected. All of the nails were centered perfectly, all the exact same length, all have lasted me more than a month and I was able to do a fill on myself and incorporate the SNS into a new design. The front desk chick is a gem and the owner is very eager (though sometimes a touch overbearing) to make sure you get the best out of your whole experience. I also broke the tip off my thumb after a week and they fixed the whole nail pro bono. Highly, HIGHLY recommend.

I’ve been going to Annie’s for over two years now and always have a lovely experience . Sorry, but Tracey has done my nails twice and it’s good work but always like she’s in a rush and doesn’t really interact like the rest of the ladies.

Very safe- many covid precautions are in place. Annie takes extra care in doing nails. My nails were in terrible shape- too much gardening! Now, the bright turquoise color cheers me every time I look.

This is the best nail shop in town. They are very professional and in standard with the COVID 19 standards protecting their clients with the pixie glasses for nails and pedi job. Fawn is amazing she is also nice and does and excellent job on SNS nails.

This salon is a total joke. I went there with golden blonde hair to get my roots done. The tech dyed my hair red. I told him it was too dark. He said nothing. I came back when the owner was there and she said to come back the next day and she would fix it. I came back and she told me I would have to pay for highlights. I dont want highlights I want blonde hair not striped hair. Why should I have to pay for your mistake? I would never recommend this salon. They dont care what the customer wants. They do whatever they want to your hair. I cannot stand my hair and cannot afford to get it done again. Total rip off.

Annie was extremely sweet and helped me out when she didn’t need to or could easily have charged me for a very small service. I could tell that she truly cares about her clients.

Made an appointment for 10:30am, was not attended to till 11am. My boyfriend wanted a pedicure.. did a terrible job.. his feet was dipped in the water & out.. whole treatment lasted 5-10mns smh, did not even scrape under his feet. She started on my full set.. firstly she place the fake nail wrongly & cut it way too short. told her to take it off. we left & never coming back. what a way to impress a first comer

I go at least twice a month for lashes,nails and a blowout. They have wine and soda, and are fast and friendly. The prices are affordable but the look is luxurious! Id give 10 stars if i could

A very professional atmosphere to get pampering services done. Before COVID-19, they offered drinks and snacks. They take precautions to ensure COVID-19 standards and restrictions are practiced. The services and quality of care is good. It can be a bit pricy so make sure your know how much services are before you get them because they wont tell if you dont ask. Although it can be a bit on the pricey side, you leave with quality services rendered. I would recommend trying them out.

SCAM! I purchased 2 Groupons for 20 minute fish therapy and pedicure. I made an appt for 1 week later saying that I had a Groupon. I get there with the wife/daughter and the vendor is saying that they wont accept anymore Groupons for the day. Instead, he wants to sell me a Groupon instead, Im thinking what.He says that I can cancel my Groupon and hell sell me another. Thats the only way hell give me service. He only accepts 4 groupons per day. The place was completely empty (by the way). I left in a huff!He is essentially trying to cutout Groupons sales fees (cost share). Pay me instead. Beware. Dont support this business. There are so many others who know how to treat customers and appreciate Groupon for stirring customers in their direction. The market place should let this spa wither and die!

Generally speaking its ok. The nail salon is in the back. Clean. But noisy. I went in for a deluxe pedicure. It was a bit pricy, but Tina did a good job.
