My partner and I were gifted gift certificates for this spa in December, and we immediately thought to schedule for a couples massage in March to celebrate our anniversary. January comes around, I schedule appointments for us over the phone, letting the receptionist (who was very kind and patient) know that we have two gift certificates, and that we would like our services to be a couples massage. On the website, it says Any of our massages may be scheduled as a couples massage. Cool, I think, no biggie. This was my partners first professional massage and he said hed feel better knowing Im there. Well, come the day of the appointment, they greet us and give us complementary teas and its nice. The space is beautiful. They lead us to two separate rooms and Im immediately confused. My MT greets me, goes over everything well do, is very friendly and professional. I ask her why my partner and I have been separated as we scheduled a couples massage, and she tells me, We dont have room to accommodate for a couples massage, we dont offer them. Girl... Im like thats literally what we scheduled for... So I say look this is fine I guess, it just wasnt what we were expecting. Quite literally the exact opposite. I wish were informed. I would have MUCH preferred they told us in January when I was scheduling that they dont offer that service. I think customers prefer transparency. Funny enough actually, my partner was telling his boss about our experience and turns out, the SAME exact situation happened to her and her husband! They scheduled for a couples massage (also with gift certificates), and were separated when they arrived. Very weird, and because of that kind of shadiness I would not want to return here. If youre wanting a couples massage, dont come here because you probably wont get one. As for the rest of the spa and their services, Im sure this is a lovely place, I know I certainly felt relaxed, and the establishment was very clean. Just very weird administrative choices that made me feel on edge.

Wow! What an incredible gift! Angie is the best massage therapist. It is clear that she is experienced, highly knowledgeable, and truly cares about the needs and preferences of her clients. I left feeling like a new person!

I love Sensibilities! Their staff is amazing, and the facility offers a calm, relaxing atmosphere. Recently I have had some neck and shoulder pain. Have had two massages with Cristhian, and he has done wonders for me. My plan is to schedule with him on a regular basis.

Went today for the first time and had a fantastic experience. Facility is spotless and provides a calming atmosphere, and staff was very courteous and knowledgeable. Had a wonderful facial by Jade and an amazing deep tissue massage by Freddie. Will definitely return!!!

I had a wonderful birthday spa day thanks to Freddie, over at Sensibilities Spa! I felt so relaxed and at ease, I felt like I could just melt off the table.Honestly, I felt like an egg.Thats how good it was!

I had a great experience here, I love that they have natural products. I had a facial and pedicure. I would give five stars, but I wish they had some better specials as its a little too pricey and I would love to go more frequently.

We did a small bachelorette gathering for my friend in December and it was fantastic! The parking was a little tricky because of the way the hotel is laid out, but once we were there it was perfect. They were professional and helpful and made it a nice relaxing experience. We had the pool pretty much to ourselves while we waiting for our other members and it was a very calming experience. If I lived closer we would be trying to do this monthly.

This is a fantastic spot! My wife and I had very nice massages and facials. The atmosphere is very relaxing and welcoming. The other thing I really liked was that it is connected to the Hilton hotel see you can enjoy the pool and hot tub as well. Also the selection of teas were very nice. A very relaxing getaway Location. I highly recommend it

I received really wonderful care from the massage therapist Chris this past Tuesday. His touch was skillful and the pressure just right. This wont be my last time visiting this spa. Really enjoyed the pool and hot tub beforehand too!

The staff here is always so friendly yet professional and accommodating. I never have any trouble with scheduling appointments or dealing with cancellations. The facility itself is very relaxing and luxurious, with the use of a personal locker with a soft robe and slippers and use of indoor pool and hot tub before or after appointments. They always offer hot tea as well, which adds to the relaxed and pampered feeling you get here.I highly recommend their massages. I’ve had three massages, each time with a different massage therapist, and each time it was incredibly relaxing and rejuvenating for both my body and soul. I really enjoy Sensibilities Day Spa.

The whole experience was relaxing beginning to end— the atmosphere, the music, the massage, the people, the energy. I got a 60 minute integrated massage (head to toe) from Becks and she was wonderful. She radiated positive energy and went above and beyond to make sure I was fully relaxed the entire time.After my massage, I got into a robe and drank green tea in the sauna. Amazing experience. Thank you Becks!

Three of us went in for massages - two integrative and one hot-stone. All three of us felt the massages were outstanding, and two of us have been to many different spas. The customer service is next to none - any time I called, whomever was on the other end of the line was exceptionally kind and courteous. We had to change our appointment a few days ahead of time, and they graciously accommodated us with no fuss. I do have a few suggestions from a spa-savvy customer - hopefully the manager will see this and take these into consideration:1. The lower level (where you wait for your massage therapist) was cold - literally and aesthetically. It would really have made us much more comfortable if the temperature and environment were warmer, more inviting.2. In the bathroom that is right near the treatment rooms, there is a trash bin with a step-lid. The problem is that the metal lid clangs against the wall when you step on the pedal, and that loud clanging can be heard in the treatment rooms. It is very jarring to be in the middle of a massage in a relaxed state, only to be startled by a loud clanging sound.3. The music in the treatment rooms was subtle and gentle, but it was not truly relaxing. The higher pitched notes of the piano music are not soothing. In fact, piano music in general is too abrupt, and is not conducive to deep relaxation. I kindly suggest a more meditative, natural soundtrack. Something with lower, longer notes and subtle shifts/changes. Something with a more eastern sound. This, more than any recommendation here, will make a significant difference in clients experiences.Overall, we all agreed that the quality of the massages was outstanding and that we will likely return despite the environmental shortcomings.

Wow, this place is so relaxing and upscale! I did a massage and pedicure and got the same for my mom plus a facial, and all were just wonderful. The woman who did my massage was so good at her craft - I was almost drooling and completely relaxed afterward. My back also felt so much better. I wish I had remembered her name and also the names of the other folks that took care of us, but honestly, everyone we encountered there was super skilled, professional, and kind. Definitely recommend a trip here if youve been having a stressful go of things lately!

I booked a couples massage for my partner and last weekend. Booking was very easy. The woman that helped me set up my appointment was kind and informative.When we first walked into the place we were met with a warm and comforting atmosphere. We were asked to sign wavers and did so in their cozy sitting room.Shortly after we were guided upstairs to our room. I had Travis for my massage and my partner had Sara(h?). We individually had conversations with the massage therapists to discuss and go over exactly what we would like during our time together. We purchased the Blissful Massage experience and it was well worth it. We both got to choose our wonderful aromas, had incredible scalp massages, and thoroughly enjoyed our massages.I walked out of the room feeling like I was floating. Travis even had some helpful tips and knowledge he passed along to better aid in a tight area on my body.This was a truly relaxing and enjoyable experience and we will be coming back!

Everyone was so courteous! Scheduling was easy, they answered all my questions including giving me good directions. The staff was pleasant, the hot stone massage was absolutely AMAZING. And as someone who is pretty introverted I also appreciated that no one made me feel pressured to chat unless I wanted to. Highly recommend, great experience!

I was just now given such great customer service when I called to make an appointment. Alyssa was very patient, answered all my questions, explained everything perfectly, she was just so friendly & sweet ✨😊 Many employees do not have the ability to be so awesome, it’s hard sometimes to put a smile in your voice. She hit all the perfect notes & not snobbish or annoyed AT ALL. That is responsible for multiple stores, office’s & restaurants losing my business. They have a plethora of services & are located in the Hilton hotel. & it’s an added benefit, you can use the hotels pool/hot tub & dressing rooms. I know it will be a great experience.

My three daughters and I visited the spa and had the package Body and Soul. Its a pleasant setting, staff are very nice, the services were top notch and cost was fair compared experiences at other day spas. The spa was able to handle the four of us with ease. We had an awesome experience.

Enjoyed my massage session. I had the deep tissue massage (wish I had done the 60min session)...will def do next time.I cant remember the ladys name that done my massage but she done a great job.Was there at 11:30 on Sunday,September 24th.Will return when in Ashville.

We had a seriously great experience at the spa today! Freddie and Danielle were our terrific massage therapists for our couples massages. They were both very professional and we had excellent massages. The spa itself was new and clean. There were several areas of improvement however; the room was too cold for the entire service, we had to ask for robes, there were no towels in the locker room and no one offered us a key to a locker. So… the massage was awesome but the spa has some room for improvement.

It was ok, my massage therapist was very friendly and polite. I just think it was overpriced for what we received.

Incredible experience. The staff was kind, organized and professional. The massage rooms were secluded and peaceful. I had a maternity massage with Cora, and it was honestly the best I’ve ever had. She focused on all of the areas that I needed attention. My husband had a deep tissue/hot stone with Freddie and he thought it was very personalized and therapeutic. He enjoyed the dynamic positioning and level of intensity. Both therapists were very accommodating and obviously skilled. Thank you to Sensibilities for enhancing our babymoon with this spa morning!

Came here for a prenatal massage halfway through a 4 week road trip and it was just what I needed 😊 you can use the gym and swimming pool and they provide a robe and towel (no extra charge), and even a cup of tea afterwards. The massage was excellent and my therapist was so lovely. Felt like a spa day. Highly recommend!!

I’ve been going to Sensibilities for almost a year now and I can’t recommend them enough! I see Angie on a monthly basis for a deep tissue- she is wonderful, always remembers what we talked about the time before and does a great job! I started seeing Skylar for facials on a bi- monthly basis- after my first one with her I knew I had to come back and I always make sure I see her! She did such a great job and recommended the best products! I see Ashley as well for waxing and she makes what you would think to be a painful experience a breeze- always prompt for appointment times and gets me in and out fast! Front desk staff are always so nice and accommodating- highly recommend for any and all spa needs!!

Pretty sure I had the best deep tissue massage I have had in a long time! I got the pleasure of seeing Ashton and she was phenomenal. Ive been having a lot of pain in my back and hips and in a matter of seconds she addressed it. She is very understanding and knowledgeable. I would highly recommend seeing her! The facilities were closed unfortunately (the pool and the sauna) so it was really just an in and out experience this time.

I would give this 5 stars had I not had a pedicure here.My 90 minute massage with Becky was the best I ever had in my life ! Definitely going back to her.My facial with Mindy, same, most amazing experience ever.My package ended with a $70 pedicure that was VERY overpriced for the experience.I would recommend to anyone for sure and will spread the word but I wont suggest anyone come here for a pedicure.

LOVE this spa. I visited Asheville for the first time and found Sensibilities on the internet - lucky me. Its a really nice place - great decor with a peaceful and calming atmosphere. The staff is super friendly and welcoming. Angie gave me a fantastic massage - perfect pressure and she relaxed all my sore/stiff areas. Skylar gave me the best facial Ive ever had. Most estheticians Ive had concentrate on my skin - the surface of my face - and have a really light touch. But Skylar actually dug in and *massaged* my face while applying the products and it felt GREAT - the most relaxing thing ever. I didnt want it to end! Will definitely be back the next time Im in Asheville.

I would give this spa & my massage more than 5 stars if I could. My sister in law & I booked 60 minute relaxation massages while we were visiting Asheville for a family reunion. The team at Sensibilities is extremely kind and professional. My massage from Angie was literally the best of my entire life. The massage was the perfect blend of rejuvenation & relaxation. I felt like a million bucks for days after our massages. My sister in law said the same from hers as well. We will absolutely be coming again to sensibilities on our next trip to the Asheville area!

I had a most relaxing morning thanks to everyone at this spa! Christy gave me the best massage Ive had in such a long time.My husband had given me a gift certificate right before covid hit so I thought they may not honor it but I called and was told I could still use it! I was able to book an appointment for the day and time I needed.The only downside is the fact that the pool is shared with the hotel. I brought my swim suit so I could take a dip prior to my appointment.There was a family using the pool and the children were splashing, screeching and jumping in. I smiled and made small talk with their mom but unfortunately they took up the entire deep end of the pool which left me awkwardly trying to swim in the shallow 3 feet side. Eventually they started solashing in the shallow side as well.Needless to say my pool time didnt last long. When it was clear they had no understanding of pool manners I went ahead and left. I retreated to the quiet area inside the spa and read my book.I will be back again soon!

I had a wonderful service here, I opted for the 90 minute custom clarity facial and it was what dreams are made of! Staff is incredibly sweet and facilities are very inviting and clean

Great spa. I got a facial a week before my wedding and was so pleased with the results. The waiting area is somewhat odd with staff buzzing through changing linens and getting ready for clients but I’d definitely go back! I thought my treatment was worth the money

Exceptionally Professional and Friendly! Freddie and Cristhian renew my and my husbands body and spirit every six weeks with a Hot Stone Couples Massage. We arrive beaten down from the day-to-day and leave renewed in body and spirit!

My boyfriend and I did a couples massage. We were in two separate rooms but they just had the curtain in the middle open. We got a deep tissue and it was not a great massage by any means. We were also scheduled later but it felt like they maybe were ready to go home. I was really hoping for a great experience but unfortunately it wasn’t one, probably wouldn’t go back.

Ive worked with Jen at Sensibilities for a number of years, on various graphic design projects for the spa. She thoughtfully communicates her ideas and feedback, and allows us the freedom to be creative during the design process. Working with her has been a joy. Its always collaborative team effort :)

Truly wish I could give 6 stars. From check in, access to the hotels amenities, and the fantastic therapists I will tell everyone I know to come here. The process is seamless and a full spa experience.

I had the best pedicure today with Tiffany. I’ve never had such a wonderful experience. The massaging, the hot stones, the paraffin and warm heat were so relaxing!! The actual pedicure was fantastic!!

The front desk staff, confirmed with my wife and I the services we were too have upon arrival. Everything was communicated correctly, but the information sent to our massage therapist were in accurate. My wife who had a additional add on treatment was told by the therapist that the add on was not communicated to her and she had another appointment. My massage therapist confirmed with me at the beginning of the treatment and I was able to correct her. The FRONT DESK SCREWED UP what was supposed to be a relaxing evening. To make it worse the lady that entered the information was busy texting while we were discussing the mistake with another staff member. They provided a 20% off my wife massage, but I would have rather gotten what we paid for.

Two negative experiences and two positives. They love procedures and policy more than customers- which might work as a business except they struggle to follow their own procedures.Today, when I showed up I realized my appointment had been botched. The manager blamed me for not handling it properly and took her employees side completely even after I contradicted what she was told. Outrageous.

Just had a 90 minute massage. I used to be a massage therapist so Im pretty picky. This was honestly one of the BEST massages I ever had. Staff are very friendly here as well. Christian, you truly have a gift.

My favorite staycation location. I warm and inviting atmosphere starts to relax me as soon as I walk in, and the wonderful front desk staff always make me feel like theyve been waiting just for me. Everyone on staff is so good at what they do, and seem to really love and care about their work. Its hard to pick a favorite, as every visit gives me a new favorite. Most recently, an incredibly relaxing massage from Tressor was followed by a visit to the dry sauna, lounging by the pool to read, a light lunch and more lounging. Renewed and revived to start the new year off right. I dont think this is an indulgence, as it contributes greatly to my overall well being and health. Ill be back as soon as I can!

Sensibilities offers a calming, peaceful, and rejuvenating experience. The staff are intuitive and offer exceptional care. This is by far my favorite spa in Asheville, they are an essential part of the Asheville experience.

We sent a request on their website requesting appointments months in advance. They NEVER got back to us. My mom called today to see if we could get those appointments and they said they were booked 4 weeks out.. Don’t use their website for inquiries because it’s absolutely useless. You won’t get an answer. 1 star for poor communication. Get it together, you lost 3 customers!

Sensibilities is all time favourite for the spas, waxing services. They have really good staff and some times they accommodate on the same day.

This was truly a wonderful experience. My fiancee and I got a couples Swedish massage. It was very relaxing and the staff was sweet and wonderful. I would highly recommend. 10 out of 10.

Today I had the package deal for massage, facial, pedicure, and manicure. Cennas massage was really wonderful. Jades facial was excellent. All natural products. The staff is friendly and accomodating!

I go here for a pedicures mostly and everyone is super nice and Priscilla is fantastic.

We visited this place on a weekend getaway and they took us in with the reservation very quickly with short notice. It was the most relaxing Spa I had visited in quite some time and if I visit this area again I will be sure to go to this Spa again

I WILL NEVER COME HERE AGIAN. Was 15 minutes late in which I called to apologize. Couldn’t find parking anywhere and they said they wouldn’t take us for the whole appointment and they were going to charge us the full amount and not give us a full service plus I tried to reschedule and they were still going to charge the full amount. DO NOT COME HERE IF YOUR TRYING TO RELAX BECAUSE THIS PLACE SUCKS AND THE PEOPLE HERE ARE RUDE.
