I’m 22 and decided to try the lymphatic drainage massage here. I started my massage at 109.2 pounds. After my massage I had lost about 3-5 inches in the waist and .5 pounds overall. This massage is really for anyone, no matter what age, size or weight. It also helps with bloating, so if you’re like me and get bloated easily, I would highly recommend. The staff are very friendly and will make you feel comfortable and relaxed. You will definitely feel more confident after your session. It’s currently 2 days post my massage and I’m really seeing a difference. Thank you ladies for this experience!

Ive tried several places for lymphatic drainage massages, but BLD has become my go-to. The staff is well trained in the Brazilian technique, and the massages feel great. I have a lot of inflammation and it helps me a lot. The prices are also the best I found for the quality of the service. And they offer different packages that make it more affordable. I recommend.

04/17/2024Absolutely Incredible Experience! I must say it was my first time visiting this spa and surely would not be my last. The service was amazing. I was very tense and in pain walking through those doors. The therapist Maria was highly skilled, she explained everything she was doing and made me feel so comfortable throughout the entire session.After the session I felt lighter and more energized. It was amazing. I slept like a baby and woke up so late the next day with no pain good thing I did not have to go to work. I would of been late. Absolutely loved this place Monica, Christina, Maria and the rest of the staff keep up the good work. Will definitely recommend to others. See you guys at my next session. I had a great experience at BLD Spa. I went for the lymphatic drainage massage and glow facial. The massage was thorough and I saw a big difference in the before and after photos. My skin was more plump. Less indents and lost some water weight during the massage which is fantastic. The staff are kind and attentive. The facial was amazinggggg...the swelling in my face completely went down. Monica the owner was kind and knowledgable. This is a woman owned business...go and support! Absolutely Incredible Experience!I am blown away by the results! I could feel the tension and toxins being gently released from my body. The therapist was highly skilled and made me feel completely at ease throughout the entire session.After just one session, I noticed a significant reduction in swelling and puffiness, and I felt lighter and more energized. Its amazing. My skin got tighter and smoother and the difference in appearance is insane. I am so glad I found this place. This is truly body sculpting. Thank you!!!

I found BLD Spa through Groupon and immediately bought a package before leaving! I love that I wasn’t pressured into anything, the work speaks for itself. The spa is spacious and clean. The staff is so wonderful and it feels like seeing my family twice a week. I get a lymphatic massage twice a week following a mini tuck. Not only has my contour changed drastically but my scar is softer and the pain is completely gone. Cavitation is also included which has been a great addition. I 100% recommend this spa!

Today I visited La Conte spa, not only was everyone very welcoming but thrilled to have me there. Their hospitality was impressive, tea & coffee were offered after service. Not to mention the results. For it being the first time trying a lymphatic massage I was shocked with the results losing almost 2-3 inches around the waist. Thank you Sonia for her magic hands. They have fairly priced packages offered so I wouldn’t miss out on the opportunity. Thank you Laconte spa for having me!

1) communication is terrible. It is nearly impossible to book an appointment because they are not present with the phone or email.2) impossible to relax with atmosphere and light shining in your eye.3) does not feel private. If you do not have your own room while being in a medical bra and panty, then at least have a 360 curtain so people walking by aren’t in your room.4) I swelled 40 minutes after my second session and I am still swollen 6 days later.

The staff is very friendly and kind. The location was pretty convenient and easy to find parking. The massages included red light and ultrasound, which is a plus since most do not. Overall, the massages were pretty good. I gave it 3 stars because there is very little privacy. Not all of the massage tables have curtains all the way round them. In addition, the staff open the curtains constantly with no warning. Once I got a massage in the one room with a door, and they kept leaving the door open. I asked them to close it and the said its ok, we are all women. Not the point! In addition, they need to improve their system for appointments. They ask you to complete a paper with your personal information, and most times, they leave the paper on the appointment counter for all to see. Which is another privacy concern. They also have you schedule appointments on paper, but then forget to add them to their official online appointment system or forget to cancel them when you make changes. Last the owner rudely accused me of a no call no-show for an appointment when she later admitted that she confused me with a different client. When she realized I was a different person, she disclosed that clients name to me and said she was confused because we look a like. I highly doubt that and find that rather offensive as a person of color. The overall interaction was rude and inappropriate. I still gave them 3 stars because the massages are good, staff is kind, and the extra perk of red light and ultrasound are nice additions.

I typically avoid leaving bad reviews because I understand that various circumstances can affect service quality. However, I hope this feedback will be useful for improvement. Im not sure if the poor experience was due to being short staffed, but it was far from satisfactory.Maria and the other ladies were extremely sweet, but unfortunately, that wasnt enough to compensate for the overall experience. The spa did not appear sanitary and the staff seemed so disorganized. The massage was repeatedly interrupted, as Maria or other staff members were called away. One of the masseuses seemed unsure of what she was doing and frequently asked Maria how to use one of the machines on me. The towel I was given appeared dirty and damp, and the ladies kept leaving the room with their gloves on multiple times, returning to continue the massage without changing gloves after touching the door handle and other objects...While the massage itself felt nice, the constant interruptions made it difficult to relax. Having three different people massage me, each interrupted multiple times, was uncomfortable. Additionally, men kept coming in to use the bathroom, which added to the chaos. The ladies would also repeatedly leave the door open when leaving the room and one of them kept apologizing to me while using the machine. At one point all three ladies were at the door of the room I was in - discussing what to do next in such a small space. Despite everyones kindness and Marias expertise, the place seems unable to function without her. The facility appeared dirty, and I had to step on oily floor while changing.I rushed home to shower afterward. For $180, this was not the experience I expected. Im not someone who needs a fancy spa, but the cleanliness and organization are basic expectations. Why on earth are 3 different people massaging me and one needed guidance on how to use a machine on me? I will not be returning. Everyone was very nice, but the disorganization and lack of cleanliness left me feeling anxious and uncomfortable.

This was one of my best spa experiences. Everyone working there is very nice.The lymphatic massage and cavitation treatment left me feeling incredibly light. They offer special price packages in person too. Really glad I found this place!

The massage was excellent- I left feeling rejuvenated and relaxed. The entire staff and owner were wonderful as well - everyone was welcoming, warm and kind. I would highly recommend.

Its ridiculous that I contacted the business before arrival spoke to the owner Monica and was told I was OKay to come in using a groupon now I am here and being told I cant use the Groupon!  and let me add that the owner had my personal number and was in contact with me all through the scheduling process, and never once said hey we cant use that groupon #classless #careless and very selfish. Also I been a client for over 8 months. I am sure the workers arent paid accordingly.

I live in Chicago. I had a tummy tuck, a panni, and a belly button replacement almost 3 weeks ago. I was feeling pretty bad, I found this WONDERFUL salon on Groupon. These ladies have done more for me with the massages than anywhere else I’ve been. The salon itself is warm and peaceful. The staff are sweet, kind, and courteous, especially Monica, the Owner. I got the Lympathic Drainage Massage.. I think its a massage worth trying (particularly for special occasions) if it is something you are interested in for over all health.. then This is a sign for all my girls feeling puffy like me to go get one.. I felt super relax and saw a visible difference in my stomach and thighs before and after the massage.. & Great Team

Did 3 massages with them and the staff was very nice and professional. Monica was very knowledgeable with lymphatic massages and all treatments, even as far with diet and after care. They have a lot of techniques and technology that help with fat reduction. I highly recommend them!

I found the BLD SPA online at Groupon and I love it the experience, ended up doing the pack of the massages and now my weeks are so much better. The results is awesome.

Christina, the owner, and staff are wonderful. They truly care about your progress. They listen to your needs and address any concerns you may have during the treatment process. They get to know you and each visit those needs are met. Lovely experience.

This is one of the most unfavorable encounters I have ever come across. Initially, the proprietors offspring entered my room when I was receiving the lymphatic massage. The staff exhibited impolite behavior, as they failed to provide an introductory greeting before entering the room. Furthermore, during a conversation with another worker, one of the female staff members engaged in laughter while performing woodwork therapy. My room was constantly opening during the massage, and random people were opening the door. Throughout my session, the duration was over an hour, although it was a 55-minute session during which a red lamp was employed on my abdominal region. The staff failed to coordinate the timing of the owners arrival for the post-photography session. This establishment does not qualify as a relaxation spa, and I was dissatisfied when the staff attempted to sell me additional services without displaying professionalism. The owner has stated that due to my age, my body mass, and people dying at a young age, it would be beneficial to me to enroll in the sessions.

Incredible! I needed a last min appointment to address bloat and stress in my body. Lymphatic drainage basically massages and clears. Built up air/fat/tightness, so everything can flow properly in your body. Infrared helps inflammation immensely. To say I went in with bad gut issues is an understatement, I was in pain from mainly salt intake, and too little water i believe. So this was uncomfortable. Yes, but when the right hands it’s relaxing, and Christine has been doing this for 9 years, with a certification from Brazil. She’s more than capable of transforming your body to a relaxed, de plates and toxin released state. I felt incredible during and after. The true test is how sore you are the next day, and I already feel it hours after. I am beyond grateful she could accomodate me the day of, and even had a water and coffee waiting for me. The spa is meticulously clean and beautiful inside. She played relaxing music and we conversed amid the coco oil and wooden roller and infrared light. I love that she paid attention to every limb and square inch on my body. Truly an amazing experience and I can’t wait to return!🙏🏼😍 for first timers there is a $41 60 min lymphatic drainage massage.

Amazing spa that I found on group on for a killer deal! I did lympathic drainage and body contouring which really has made a difference in my mid section. The workers there are friendly and great at what they do! As well as accommodating and very sweet. I highly recommend this place as well. This is an exceptional place. The service here is top notch! Worth every single penny and then some! They make sure you get treated for the concerns that you have and automatically include the appropriate service with your appointment. Whether that means infra-red lights or radio-frequency or caviation machines. The massages here are unmatched! I come in regularly for lymphatic body and face massages. They also offer numerous other services such as blowouts manicures and waxing. The staff is so caring and it really shows in their work. I dont see myself ever going to any place else while in nyc!

BLD Spa is a special place - Ive been twice for the lymphatic massage and each time have left feeling so much better. The practitioners are clearly skilled and have completed extensive training in lymphatic massage specifically. Not only was the massage relaxing, but I felt the effects of the massage in loosening muscles as well as relieving any inflammation for days after my appointment. I even went with pain in my ankle - and it was much improved by simply the massage that seemed to allow for increased blood circulation. I would highly recommend for anyone who wants simply a relaxing experience, or even for those who want to relieve pain, discomfort, or anything that might be helped by these skilled practitioners.

It is the best place in Astoria and NYC because I tried with different ppl but Monica and her team are the best!!! I had a great experience with Mónica Leconte methodology. I had lymphatic massage, wood therapy and mesotherapy. I lost a lot of weight and improved my cellulite incredibly. Leconte Beauty has a program to lose weight with detox, very delicious. I recommend that you come and have the same experience as me. The spa is located near the train. Monica is a great entrepreneur who will give you all the information. 🥰
