MVP Sports Bar & Grill

Had the filet steak wrap with a side of French fries. Its real steak cook to your liking with lettuce,tomato and onion. A1 sauce that they put on the side. It was good. The fries are hand cut..think potato patch fries...mmmm..yum! It was pretty quiet for a Sunday. Bar is a good size. Bartender was sweet. She was the waitress as well. Very sweet. The menu isnt huge but obviously the quality is good. Worth a stop if you are in the area.

NEEDS HEAT AND waitresses that actually wait on the customers! We went a couple of weeks ago for burger night and the burger was ok, the fries were good, and the restaurant was freezing cold plus only half the lights in the dining area are on. My dad and I thought we would take my mom over for burger night tonight (2/1/23) apparently that was our mistake. The restaurant was still freezing cold. We waited for 20 minutes and neither of the 2 waitresses ever came to take our order or see if we had been waited on. They were a little busy but not that busy because the family that came in after us got waited on just a few minutes after they arrived. After essentially being ignored for 20 minutes we left and got dinner at a restaurant where the waitresses were happy to take our order.

The staff is friendly, the food is amazing, 8 different televisions whike you eat, drink or play is awesome and having an ATM machine on site is a wonderful thing! Share this place with friends and family. Its an amazing place to be!

I normally have nothing negative to say about the places we choose to eat at; however, I was unfortunately disappointed with the food here (at least the food I received).I ordered the steak sandwich and the amount of steak received on my sandwich was less than desirable. There was more lettuce on it than steak and the steak was not cooked correctly; it was tough and cold making it nearly impossible to bite into and chew. The fries came out cold. I also ordered loaded fries and nachos as appetizers; they came out cold. So cold, in fact, that the cheese was already hardening on top of the nachos. There was hardly any burger on top of the nachos and the fries were not crunchy— they were soggy as well as not being loaded fries. They were just regular fries with cheese on the side.This is my first time going here and it will be my last. I will never recommend this restaurant for the price you paid for appetizers and a steak sandwich. It’s ridiculous. You don’t get a quarter of what you pay for. It’s dark in there, the waitress terrible… And the food was not even subpar. Save your money from being wasted on terrible food, terrible service and a cold/dark place and go to an actual restaurant not a bar. And yes, I do get that this is a bar but if you’re going to sell food at a bar for $14-$16 you better be sure it is good and worth it. It wasn’t. I would leave zero stars but you can’t

You cant beat their weekly specials. The food and our Server was Awesome. We were there today, Wednesday. $ 3.00 Burgers and Fries. 2 orders plus 2 soft drinks and left a 5.00 tip. All for under $20.00.

Excellent food for a good price, but our waitress had a hard time keeping up with our larger party. We enjoyed the outside activities on the patio. Unfortunately the ceiling fan out there doesnt work. Will try again with just 2 of us to see if we get our food in a timely manner next time.

The absolute best service, staff and food in our area. The servers and bartenders are top tier. Food is always good and fairly priced. The new outdoor patio is so nice and they have good entertainment. You won’t find better or cheaper food.

Waitress does the best she can. The owner was the kitchen, the food that was brought out was not hot and one order was wrong. The owner does not treat the Waitress very well. Our Waitress was crying. The menu was supposed to be half off, but we payed full price. We have been there numerous times and each time the bills or food are always wrong. I do not know how anybody gives this place more than 1 star. We WILL NO be back. We will go to Shortys or Hot Shots.

This is a new find for my family and I. Weve been back twice in one week, and are looking forward to our third time there in the near future. Great basic sports bar food with fresh cut fries and great daily specials. Just try it and youll understand my review.

Daily specials prices are only for dine in orders, which is not specified anywhere. Also, food does not come all at once for each table. One person may be almost done by the time another is served. Dont be surprised if your order gets lost in the back. After waiting an hour for our food I finally got my second appetizer(on the house) with my meal and my son only got half his wings until we were leaving when she brought the other half. The food is decent but not worth fighting the crowd

Great place! Nice and big atmosphere that is ideal for any occasion. A newly built deck with bar, tables and stage for entertainment. I dont want to forget to mention the delicious food! Love to come on Thursdays for the special on wings!

Cheap amazing wings loved the drinks and town atmosphere.

Had a great experience many times Ive been there. But the most recent takeout order was the worst. Ordered takeout for the whole family, burgers, wraps, and salads. I order a dozen wings(hot). They place the wings on top of 2 other meals and you could see the hot sauce everywhere inside the bag, got home and unwrapped it and the hot sauce got into the burger and the chicken wrap container, the kids didnt like that at all. Had to throw away their meals...not happy about that!!

Very good attention I like to frequent this place every Thursday but since I went to the bathroom my son wanted to go out to play and I heard that he was crying and someone was trying to intimidate him by yelling at him to shut up. She was one of the women who serve my children in this place. he yells at them I will not return to this place

Went here almost every Fri for fish. Battered (not breaded), 1pc feeds 2 people, plus fries $5!!!!! Last weekend got take out, did not know take out is full price $12.99. Got the dinners home, open the boxes to find a small piece of breaded fish (with fries). Prior To ordering I called to ask if there was shredded cheese or liquid cheese on the loaded fries and was told liquid cheese. Needless to say my fries had shredded mozzarella on them. While ordering, asked for extra sour cream on the side and extra extra tartar on the side. While picking up the order asked if the condiments were in the bag was told yes, good thing we checked because they were not. The extra sour cream was one small cup and the extra extra tartar was one cup for each dinner. I am absolutely disappointed. IF I go back it will be dine-in and I will ask to see the fish first. If this is the new fish I will not be eating here ever again.

Stopped here a couple weeks ago for the first time. Went with a group of 6 and we all thought the food was amazing... reasonably priced too. All the TVs made watching all the different sports games easy. Speaking of games, they actually had a beer pong tournament at one point which was a great switch from what you typically get from a bar. Fun atmosphere, good crowd, friendly (and pretty attractive) staff, and good specials made for an all around great experience. 10/10 would recommend.

Burgers was edible there was no seasing on it at all so it definitely lacked flavor, the perogies were pretty good but missing the chives that were supposed to come on them. The fries tasted over cooked & old my dude wouldnt touch them, i ate 3. & lastly they had THE WORST wings that we have ever gotten, they were very small, dry as all get out & No seasoning or any flavor. Straight in the trash.

Food is great. Service try’s to be friendly. It took me over 45 min to place my order. It’s not the waitress fault mainly because they have a lot of construction workers in town. Great food at decent price. Would recommend going when they are not busy.

Second time getting food from here. The wings could be crispier and cooked longer. Was not cooked to my ordering. But the sauce made them good. The steak salads are amazing. Im only giving four stars because of the mistake on the wings.Its definitely a must try.

I have been here on multiple occasions and have had a great experience each time. The staff is very friendly and the service is excellent. They have great food and drink selections which are reasonably priced as well. This is a fun place to go to get together with your friends, shoot some pool or watch your favorite sports teams. Would definitely recommend!

Food was good .25 cent wings on Thursday.Idk if the waitresses where new but it seemed really slow but definitely good wings.This is not a complaint just saying if your not in a hurry definitely worth checking out

The food was very good. Easy to visit with people because it wasnt crazy loud. It wouldnt have hurt the barmaid to put a smile on her face. She put off the appearance that we where inconveniencing her being there.

LOVE THIS PLACE! HUGE horseshoe bar with very friendly staff. The owner is a great guy and always puts his customers first. The wings are outstanding and you cannot beat the drink specials! Great place to go for a game and hang out with friends. Always gettin jiggy with it on the dance floor. Family friendly too! I come all the way out from Pittsburgh to go to this bar and will keep coming. So happy to have found this place!

Order food said there was no order there. A waste of time. Girls working there are to busy on cell phones to pay attention to customers. Last time waited 45 mins for 3 salads told me would be another 45 mins. Only salads.

Went in on my 21st birthday for food before going to the casino. the bartender, Tessa, was incredibly stand offish and even laughed at my fiance at one point or another. they then proceeded to give us menus, and then shut down the entire kitchen 20 minutes early. first ever experience at a bar and the staff at MVP Sports Bar absolutely ruined that experience. and at that point, the restaurants in the casino had closed so i ended up having taco bell for my 21st birthday. CHEERS TO 21 YEARS, thanks MVP!!!

This is becoming a regular stop for my family. Really good wings, not a long wait, the wait staff is generally friendly and attentive ( our waitress tonight was Sandy. Great, great job) . Can’t beat the deal.

First time there, but the food is fantastic, service is really good. Owner is 30 year chef who loves to cook. We will definitely be there again for dinner and drinks. Prices are very reasonable for the high quality of food you receive

I stopped there after a funeral service in Hookstown, Pa. A woman was playing sad sappy music making me cry even more. She seen me crying and my boyfriend told her what happened. She felt so bad. Then started playing some happier music on through juke box. A side from my sad visit. I have to say its a great place. A couple of pool tables and friendly staff and patrons.

Big place with good food at reasonable prices. Can’t beat 25¢ wing night on Thursdays or their $5 domestic beer buckets. Servers and bartenders are kind and understanding. My go to hang out spot!

Waited for 30mins to be seated for wing night to find out they sold out. We even asked if they had wings available before we were seated.

Worst food I ever had. Ordered take out, got there before the food was finished. Took me 10 minutes to drive home. The bun on my sandwich and the fries were soggy. The chicken on my sandwich tasted like it was microwaved. Never eating here again.

Stood at the door where it said to wait to be seated for about 6 mins so my boyfriend and I sat at the bar for about another 5 without being acknowledged once! Never will return.

Do not offer an all day special if you are going to run out of food by 7pm. 2 weeks in a row we have gone for wings by or before 7pm and told at the door that they are out of wings. Just bad business.

Not a very busy place, but the food is great the staff is friendly and there is all your typical bar entertainment. Two pool tables, dart board, jukebox, dance floor. Bring some friends.
