Love Love Love this place! Every therapist is fantastic and the front desk staff is lovely! My wife gets her facials and massages here. One of her preferred deep tissue therapists is Jeffrey and she speaks so highly of him-but there are many fantastic options. Sonora and Amy are amazing for those who like a firm pressure and relaxing massage. My wife has been going for years and I have been going for almost a year now. A monthly massage is a must and there is a therapist for every preference!

Bryan was incredible. Very knowledgeable and excellent communicator. The massage was fantastic and he helped with many on going issues that my body has been dealing with. Excited for my next session!

Wonderful facial experience with Sonora! It is so relaxing. If you’ve never had a facial before, I recommend trying it out at Massage Envy in Chester. My skin was refreshed and radiant.

I highly recommend Sean! I went in with a really tight lower back and aching body and came out feeling refreshed and relaxed. He is so personable too and really upbeat. Really liked him and highly recommend him if you want an awesome massage with firm pressure.

I had an amazing massage with Steve, I highly recommend him. My daughter treated me to Massage Envy in Chester for the second time as a Mother’s Day gift. I returned due to the amazing massage I received the first time with Steve. This location is clean which is really important to me. While the location is beautiful and the massage was awesome unfortunately one of the young ladies at the front desk was rude and unprofessional which made me feel uncomfortable. I was looking forward to booking my next massage at check out but didn’t due to my experience with the front desk representative.

I have been going to Sean R. for years and he truly is the best masseuse around. He applies the perfect pressure, checks in and gets every knot out. I always feel like a million bucks after a session with him. 10/10 reccomend!

I’ve worked with Sean a few times and experience has been great. I tend to suffer with pretty significant muscle tension and joint pain and Sean always has a great technique to help relieve the tension and ease the pain. Definitely one of the best I’ve ever had!

So relaxing and wonderful - a great experience as a new mom who needed some TLC! My masseuse, Sean, did a fantastic job focusing on the areas that required extra attention and adjusted according to what my body needed.

I have been goung here for quite some time. All employees are friendly. I get THE BEST massage every month from Natasha. I hope she never leaves.

Won’t go back. My “1hr deep tissue” massage was 45 minutes. The therapist started 10 min after the hour and five minutes early. The massage itself wasn’t great at all. My therapist spent probably 15 minutes on my back of which I felt nothing and most of the time sitting on a chair massaging my face and neck while I was face up even after I asked him to focus on my low/mid back. He pushed a special lotion in the begging of the session then told me it was an additional upcharge on top of the $155 for the massage. They push you for memberships at the end which is quite annoying. Don’t waste your time.

Terrible customer service. This location LIED to me and said I could cancel my membership. They promoted the discount for signing up and explicitly told me I had options to cancel. This is not true! The only option is to Freeze the account once youre locked in for a membership and extend the payments. Im locked in for their price which is more expensive than other franchises for 12 months. Lesson learned to read the fine print. I dont appreciate the representative misleading me like that.

Steven is THE BEST. He listenes when you tell him where to work , he is proficient and professional. I will request him until membership expires . I often enjoy getting a massage as I’m a tense new mom! The massage artists are excellent as I have never had a bad experience, but the front desk staff is sketchy. I was tricked and scammed by them openly… that’s the ONLY reason I will NOT reupy membership; I understand the business of sales , but to openly rob someone and not let them know until after a 90 min mass; when I’m the most relaxed and comfortable; they let me know my membership only covers a 60 minute massage, the guy booked me for a 90 min massage NOT telling me it would be extra ….that’s not ok. That’s wrong . They should be OPEN AND CLEAR . It’s not ok. Fix the issue and you’ll have life long customers.

Ive been coming here for over a year. Jeffrey has done fantastic work and I would recommend him to anyone looking for relaxation, stress reduction, and pain relief. 11/10

Wonderful, helpful, cheerful staff that always checks me in and out fast even when I’m running a few minutes late. I haven’t used many other therapists there (but was a client at a previous massage envy) but Steven F. Is by far one of the best massage therapists I have ever had. He’s professional and attentive to my needs. I requested firm pressure which he delivered and was slow and methodical in the tighter spots in my lower back. Since I told him my lower back was my problem area he worked on just my back the whole time. I will 100% be a returning client of his.

My husband and I go to Massage Envy every month for a couples massage with Jeffrey and Steven. Both of them are awesome!Steven was nominated for Therapist of the year and I have no doubt why. Congrats Steven!

The massage and atmosphere were great! When I went to check out, they said I owe $15 more because the massage envy that bills me charges less than they do. I said OK and didn’t think much of it until I got home. I checked the website for Chester and their fees are listed as the same as what I’m billed for. So I was essentially charged $15 more for nothing. That’s my only complaint and because of that, unfortunately, I would not go back because a 90 minute massage fee plus tip plus the extra $15 really adds up.

Went with massive knots and pain in my shoulders and neck and Kai was able to provide relief.

My massage was relaxing but it was not what I paid for or what I asked for. First, I paid for a 60 minute massage. My masseuse came out late to get me and I was at the register paying before the hour was even up. I did not get a 60 minute massage. Additionally, I asked that the focus be on my back and legs. While she did work out a knot on my lower back, my upper back was completely neglected

Sean (at the Chester location) is professional and talented. I always leave better than I arrived.

The staff at the front desk is very nice and accommodating. The location is very clean, calming, and the massage tables are just wonderful. I recently had a massage with Sean, it was the best ever. I came in with a very sore neck and when I left, I felt like a new person

Had a older man. Wasnt much of a massage as it was spot pressure. Spent more time on my face and neck than rest of body. Think he needs to update his techniques.

We are here vacationing from Florida it’s nice to be able to not miss our monthly massage. This facility has a Very nice atmosphere and the therapist my husband and I had are very good. I had Sonora who was very good with the light to medium pressure. Just next time I will ask for the hot towel that we have had at other facilities.

Sonora is absolutely terrific! I only go to her! She knows to give the right amount of pressure when needed. She always removes any knots and tension leaving me feeling great when I leave! One if not the best message therapists I have ever had so look no further! Thank you so much Sonora!

Came here for a facial with Anabela, she did an amazing job! My skin looks and feels wonderful- definitely recommend coming here. The entire staff was so friendly also!

Steven is amazing! I was having severe back pain associated with herniated discs and an extremely physical job. I booked a massage as a last resort after months of suffering and no success from seeing doctors. I explained my goals to Steven and he did exactly what I requested and needed - he found problems, focused on them, used the right pressure and overall has a pleasant demeanor. I woke up the next morning with no pain for the first time in a long time. I look forward to regular visits now to keep my back in good shape. Go see him!

Margaret is the best! I drive 45 minutes to see her! She is very friendly, professional and attentive always ensuring just the right amount of pressure is being used. She provides suggestions on little things you can do in between massage appointments to alleviate or help with some minor aches and pains. I always leave there feeling like a new person and immediately schedule my next appointment -she books up fast!

They do not even get 1 star.. had to pick one for the truth to be posted about this embarrassment to even be in Chester, NJ.I have been a recruiter for C level positions and manage a sales team and if anyone of my team members spoke to a paying customer the way Emily and Regina did from Massage Therapy in Chester NJ.. they would be let go on the spot.The absolute worst.We had to cancel an appointment (which was replied to upon the confirmation text).The following message was that I was going to be charged.I called to try and fix this and this is what happened:Emily hung up on me AFTER asking why I was canceling and my response was really non of your business, however, I did share that it was a hospital matter and she asked me for a note! I laughed.. really!?Regina (I believe to the the supervisors name (I will find out and re-post) took my next call and had the professional (NOT) audacity to insult me with a bee quote. Not even worth sharing the pathetic message.Wow. I thought I was on candid camera!So unprofessional.Not to mention, I have been a member with Massage Envy for years, i live in Chester, NJ and Chester this location is my last resort:Pushy and annoying sales (take a lesson ladies)Scale from 1-10 on the services provided (4)Customer Service, well, obviously a ZEROGo elsewhere for what you are paying for.You deserve a relaxing environment and a wonderful experience.

Went there for my Valentines gift and Margaret is amazing! She was professional and did an excellent job. This was far from my first massage but the combination of Margaret, the friendly and inviting atmosphere, dimmed rooms and heated beds with seriously soft sheets was HEAVEN and put it in my top sessions ever. Definitely going back.

Sonora is amazing. It was the first time I had her as my therapist, and it was one of the best massages I ever had.

Steven did an outstanding job! Pressure and technique were excellent. After a month of working on home renovations, the massage helped greatly. The down side is the unknown price increase that was never relayed to me until I was checking out. As a member with a monthly package, the cost went up $22 per 90 mins according to my receipt. That price is a bit ridiculous and will probably end my membership with this provider.

I received a microderm infusion (facial) on Friday March 17th, and was told it was a very hydrating treatment and my face would not even be red after so I was really looking forward to it. I was advised to come back every 2-3 weeks and was told if I purchased the session 3 pack I would be able to save a significant amount on them as well, so I had purchased them. After getting into my car and driving 40 minutes home I developed hives around my eyes, neck and face. The reaction was so severe I was put on an oral steroid for a week and one week later my face is still bright red and peeling. I had called massage envy and spoken to Renee to advise her of my reaction. I requested a refund for the upcoming 3 appointments as my doctors advised me not to return. She questioned how I knew the reaction was from the facial and said there was nothing she could do. Please note I was not requesting a refund for the services that were done, only for the upcoming services that I could no longer attend. After emailing Renee proof of my reaction she said she would speak to her district manager and could have the three pack transferred to someone else (when I paid for them) . It’s hard for me to understand why massage envy won’t grant me a refund for services I did not and won’t receive. I would recommend going to a place that actually values their customers rather than questioning them. Stay away unless you want your face to look like mine.

I enjoyed every minute of it if the facial. Angela was super! She did a wonderful job. I am encouraged by her job performance and will continue to treat myself and encourage others. She took my mind faraway and I could think of all the wonderful things that life has to offer. I felt no discomfort and I am very pleased. If everyone is ardent like her, the workplaces would be flourishing..

Steven was a great massage therapist.I have a HUGE problem with the up charge extracted because I can’t move my membership from elsewhere & want to use my local store. I was NEVER charged before (over 6 years) and was not told that this would happen when I booked.I have been a’member’ for about 15 years and can’t wait to use up all of my stacked massages to get away from this!!

Angela at Massage Envy, Chester, NJ … gave me a “peel” facial… I could see results as soon as she was done… pigmentation less noticeable, texture smoother and skin was hydrated. I have mature skin that seems dehydrated at times…. She came highly recommended to me and listened when I explained my skin care problems. I have had peels over the years and I must say this one ranks in the top! Overall, a very pleasant experience. The staff polite and friendly and welcoming.I will be back!

Both my wife and I came for a couples massage. We were greeted immediately in a friendly and professional manner from the women at the front desk. We then were escorted to the couple’s massage room. The massage therapists introduced themselves and asked if we had any problem areas we’d like addressed. We both received excellent massages.Both my wife and I observed the facilities are immaculate. Lastly, we paid and were asked if we were happy with the service. We were and will return soon.

Cathy F. made my first experience at Massage Envy so pleasant! She was professional, friendly, skilled in her trade and provided a relaxing atmosphere. I will be going back monthly to receive massage therapy from Cathy!

I worked with Justin and was in a great deal of pain. My chiropractor was unable to manipulate my spine because my muscles were so tight. After a 90 minute session, I was pain free. I had a follow up visit with my chiropractor the next day and she was astounded at the difference. Justin is a miracle worker! He is incredibly knowledgeable and I highly recommend him.

Justin was great! Knowledgeable, helpful, & kind. He’s a good enough reason to return. However…..(and this is no reflection on him whatsoever)……When I booked this appointment, I was given a price for a foot reflexology for one hour would be $75.00. The actual service was about 45 minutes. When I checked out I was given the price of $120. Huh??? It was at this time and at this time only that I was told about the monthly deal of committing to a year at a time to receive that price of $75. Thankfully they did extend the cost they gave me anyway, as they should.Extremely disappointing & frankly quite confusing. And the front desk clerk continued to push. I went to being 99% sure of returning to not planning on returning at all. I’ll miss Justin!Sorry M.E. Next client, be upfront & don’t push to the point of pushing away.

Just had Margaret for a one hour massage. My regular therapist wasn’t available, but I was feeling extremely tight and was in some discomfort, so I accepted the open appointment with her. She did an excellent job of both listening to my chief complaints AND actually addressing them. She applied excellent pressure.

Kai was wonderful. I also love going to Amy. Ive been a Massage Envy member for nearly 10 years and have been going to Chester for at least 3 - they are the best!

My boyfriend and I went in for a couples massage, we had Nathalie and sean. They were both great and my boyfriend and I had a very relaxing and enjoyable time. We will be returning!

I was completely misled when I froze my membership in April, 2023 before I relocated out of state. ME started charging me monthly without notice in August. Customer service is horrible in my opinion.

I came in the other day just looking for some information, and within 2 minutes I had a massage booked. Denise came out right away and greeted me with a smile. She walked me to the room and asked a few questions regarding history. I added on an aromatherapy enhancement (rosemary/peppermint) and LOVED it. I did full body, and Denise was FABULOUS. I had never been for a massage before, but she did such a great job. She made sure pressure was okay, and I was comfortable. After I was done I knew right away I wanted a membership, so now I will be coming monthly for a facial and or massage. Definitely recommend Denise :)

Tara is wonderful. She really listens to me and works on the areas that I think require the most attention. She regularly checks in, asking about the pressure, table temperature, etc. and makes sure to tailor my massage experience to my personal needs. I always leave feeling infinitely better and more relaxed.

I have been going to this location for one year. I was told my regular therapist was out and asked if I would like to have a session with Kai instead. He is very professional and has a nice excellent technique. He also offered me a hot towel at the end of the session. This was the first time I had been given one. I will be seeing Kai for my future appointments.

I loved my massage, Mt person was fabulous! This was my second? time going to him . BUT I WILL NOT be going back. Because my membership is in another location (also within NJ) they charged me another$16.00. If this is their policy I should have been told this when I scheduled. BE AWARE and ask if your membership is not where you are getting a massage is there additional fees? Im so angry with them I may cancel the entire thing

I am typically not a “chain-salon” consumer but had received a gift card for Massage Envy. Steven at the Chester location was fantastic! I am used to getting firm or deep-tissue massages regularly and needed someone to work out some tight, tension areas. Steven was able to identify and target areas of built up stress and knots and work them out. You can tell that he is an experienced massage therapist. He wasnt just running through the motions of a typical massage, rather he customized his techniques as he went along to focus on the areas that needed the most attention. I wish I had booked 90 minutes with him. As long as I can book with Steven, I’ll be back.

Ive been going to this massage envy for a few months now due to some serious knots in my back and calves. I have seen Steven (the younger one) each time and he has been fantastic for me. He uses great firm pressure and he listens to my needs and meets them. I dont feel uncomfortable asking him for more or less pressure or to hit a certain spot. If youre trying out this spot for the first time and you have some serious knots that need working out, see Steven.

Jason and Anabel are great. Got my massage and facial by them and always reschedule after each appointment since the 2021 started. I can truly say I finally found the place who has the right therapists that fits me! Thank you!

I have never in all my years had a massage, I had my first massage 2 months ago and have a total of 3 since. Absolutely amazing experiences! The massage therapists were great, very professional and nice personalities. The girls at the front desk were super friendly and very attentive. And facility itself was really clean! I would highly recommend this location of massage envy to everyone! It is well worth the price!

Went in for massage specifically wrote on intake that my main points were neck and shoulders, when I went in room again said neck and shoulders and you can do rest of body but that was the focal point. I got a full body with 10 minutes on each leg so 20 to 25 minutes on legs and 10 minutes on neck and shoulders, then told come back in 2 weeks for neck and shoulders because they are tight. Not too happy she was very nice but not listening to my needs

As so many others have stated, Steven is fantastic! I had a tight muscle in my leg, he focused on that, got out additional knots and doesnt just give the same basic massage that you find at so many chains, he actually listens and works on any problem areas. I would definitely ask for him again.

The office is clean and as you enter it’s welcoming. The front staff acknowledges you and they are friendly and welcoming. My therapist is amazing pays attention to detail, knows how to work all the kinks out and does an amazing job. I used to go to another office and now I found my new home.

I have been a member at this location for almost 3 years, joining was one of the best decisions! The therapists there are beyond amazing and professional, and Ive had massages by many of them. I never walk out of there disappointed. Management and front desk staff are always kind and more than helpful. The customer service at this location is superb. They take the time to explain everything in detail. I highly recommend if youre looking for a great quality, professional top of the line massage, whether its for relaxation or medical reasons, this location is the place to go to!!!

I’ve been seeing Anabella for facials for about a year and she is amazing. It is so relaxing and she does a great job!

The massage was great. However the customer service is completely inept and unethical. I was the LAST customer of the day and left an extremely sentimental necklace on the ottoman. I called at 1030 am the next morning, 30 minutes after they opened. This means that the only people with access to the room were Massage Envy employees, contractors, and at most, 1 customer. Additionally, if rooms are cleaned to minimmal standards between clients, the necklace was sure to be found. And yet 6 hours and 2 different managers (Renae and Emily) later, they dont know what to say and cameras would have seen me wearing it. Oh and the kicker was Emily telling me there wasnt anything else she could do since she didnt work yesterday. There is a sign in the lobby that indicates the owner name and a number to contact. I asked the manager to give me that information and she couldnt. Laughable. So now Im left to file a police report. Beware.

I absolutely love coming to chester--after a few years ago it was not easy so we decided to stop coming. Now with the wonderful staff up front and amazing therapists (my husband and I) we are very happy. Cathy has been amazing in every way (pressure and all my difficult spots). We have also had great experiences with Meghan + Sonora. Thankyou ♥️

I used to have wonderful experience in massage Envy in Rockaway location. Unfortunately this changed with a new management to the point I wanted to terminate my contract. I’m glad I gave it a chance in a Chester location ( which is not most convenient for me) where I found May. This therapist is a best therapist I’ve ever had! Very intuitive, and professional . If you like deep tissue massage like I do, you should schedule it with May.

I only gave 2 🌟 because of May! She is great though you need to speak briefly and simply (she knows little English) and also understand that she her goal is THERAPEUTIC massage. Its not comfortable, but it works out tightness and problem spots and I felt such relief and pain reduction for days after! My issue is with the front office staff. The whole place is run like a hardcourt press to get you to sign up for monthly massages. They dont listen when you tell them that thats not in your budget. Then they put you on their text list and send you offers. When I called in to take advantage of an offer, I was flat-out lied to on the phone. I asked twice and then re-confirmed before hanging up that the offer would be honored in my situation and was told yes. At checkout, I was asked to come into the back to talk. I was confused thought she wanted to do a survey or something, but had to run. I ended up being charged full price plus tax and had several embarrassing minutes in the middle of the desk area trying to explain the mix-up. As I walked out - with all released tension returned - I realized that theyre was no mix-up. The small girl with the stringy blond hair had asked me into the back room because she knew from the get-go that I was going to be upset. So either a note was left about our phone discussion or it was the same girl who promised on the phone that I was going to pay $75. I ended up spending over $150. And dont get me wrong. Its not that May isnt worth that - its not a matter of value at all, but of my personal budget... and honor and integrity! I dont spend like that and would never have gone if I knew it would cost that much, but the real issue is honor. I told her flat out that she was being dishonorable. She said, well you could get that price if you signed up for the monthly program. Seriously? Back to the hard court press?! One has nothing to do with the other! She lied, and knowing it, tried to deal with me quietly in the back room after the fact! Not cool. Not going back. Do NOT recommend!

Steven F. was fantastic. Very professional, adjusted firmness perfectly. Could tell he was deliberate with my knots/tension, not just going through a routine massage.

Do NOT go to any of the Massage Envy locations owned by the Patel’s. They violate Massage Envy’s company policy and up charge the monthly membership rate if purchased elsewhere. I’ve spoken to and received information from other management and the regional director and was told that it was in direct violation of company policy to do this. When I attempted to reach the owner the line went straight to voicemail. It’s really shady business tactics. Go to any location not owned by the Patel’s.

I was referred to have a massage with Steve F. (there are 2 Steves) at the Chester, NJ location. The massage was great. Steve has a great sense of touch when it comes to sore areas that need more gentleness and knotted up areas that really need some deep pressure. One of the best massages I’ve had.

Had a wonderful facial with Annabela today. One of the most relaxing facials I’ve ever experienced. Also had a full body massage with Cathy that I enjoyed very much. Thank you ladies.

Ashley is amazing! I love her massages because they thoroughly relax me and release my sore muscles and joints. Ashley is always right on time and is a kind and experienced massage therapist. I highly recommended her!!

I go there for facials for almost 4years and have always been greeted with care. I had the pleasure to be served by several aesthetics; all of them are very nice and pleasant. After my facial, I come back with a smiley face. Thanks for their great assistance.

This place will try and take you for all the $$ they can without remorse. One massage, which was a birthday present from a friend, turned into over 500$ of charges and no additional Massages or services.As soon as my massage ended, a sales associate tried to push a membership on my friend & and I. After saying no they continued to push & pressure us into a membership. I never went back after that. I called & cancelled my membership and was told my membership was cancelled by there staff.There were no charges for months, until I saw a 200$ massage envy charge to my account. I assumed it was a mistake so I called them. I spoke to a couple employees, explained my situation & they said that this was not right and to call back when there manager was in. After multiple calls I was finally able to speak to the manager. The manager was quick to cut me off & reply with Theres nothing we can do to every question.I would avoid this particular Massage center at all costs.

I had the most relaxing massage with Margaret yesterday. I love how easy it is to make appointments on the ME app. The Chester location has great hours so I never have trouble getting an appointment.

Steven F is a consummate professional and a skilled and conscientious massage therapist. He listens to me when I tell him what is tight and/or painful on my body and adjusts his massage therapy accordingly.

Came in for my first time for a sports massage (got the 60 minute probably should of went with the 90) and the massage was great. The staff was friendly and super helpful. At the end of my massage, they offered me membership into their monthly program where you get discounted massages (contract for a year). At the time, it seemed like a good idea but after much though I personally didnt see the value.I called the next day and the staff was super helpful in helping me get out of the contract and I truly appreciate it. IF YOU LIVE IN THE AREA THIS IS THE PLACE T0 GO FOR MASSAGES!!!

I’ve been going to Massage Envy for around 10 years now. I always look forward to my massages to help relieve stress and for overall health in loosening up tense muscles. For the past number of years, I’ve been having Tracey do my massages, she does a great massage and tailors the massage to any specific requests.

My massage therapist did not listen when I told her she was hurting me. She dug into my spine which is a no no . She insisted she was doing accupuncture!! I asked her 10 times to lighten up on pressure but she didnt. I will never use May again!!

This is a scam they tell you one price but once they have your card they over charge you by a lot.And when I called to ask why they said that am locked into a 12 member ship that they said I could cancel but when I tried they said it’s not possible terrible way to do business

From walking in to the time I left everyone was kind and curtious. Very helpful and definitely polite. I had a massage with Michael this afternoon. Im a gym rat and a heavy lifter on top of being a hair dresser, and my back hasnt felt this good in ages. I completely fell asleep for a portion of the massage. Signed up for a membership today and will definitely be back sooner rather than later. Thank you guys!

The massages are excellent no complaints there. But DO NOT sign up for any monthly massage. I signed up for 6 months. At the end I asked if I had any remaining and was told. 3 months later I found out we are being charged. No monthly call to schedule an appointment like I got during my 6 months to remind me to schedule. Nothing. Now Im out the money and beyond livid with this company.

I would not recommend to anybody. Getting a massage should feel relaxing but my time at Massage Envy in Chester actually did the opposite. Management and staff pushy about creating a membership from the second I walked in the door to the second I left. Massage therapist was neither professional, nor properly trained. I wish I could get my money back.

Second time coming here and have had bad experiences both times. If you want a real massage do not waste your time here. Ive trained massage therapists for 6+ years and have never had such a bad experience. 90 minutes of rubbing me with minimal lotion to the point where i felt like my leg hair was about to caught fire lol also next to no muscle manipulation. I scheduled a firm to deep too...Left more stressed then when i came in.

I am not one to write a review, but felt Renee went above and beyond helping me yesterday. I wanted to purchase a gift card for my Dad. I went online to do so and it was not working so I called a massage envy close to his house and got Renee. She was super helpful, purchased the card for me, mailed it to him and even wrote a small note for me with the card. While I cannot speak to getting an actual massage, I can say the customer service was fantastic when I called. Thank you!Noelle Hunter

Kai was wonderful. He was able to address a huge knot in my upper back and shoulder which feels so much better now. His firm pressure was effective without being painful.

Celeste is a wonderful masseuse. She does a thorough job and checks periodically to make sure you are comfortable. A really enjoyable experience. I’ll have Celeste as my masseuse from now on.

Have been a Massage envy member for years and have come to the Chester location on multiple occasions. Made an appointment yesterday for today at 3:30- upon arrival I checked in was told I am all set. Then was told oh your appointment is tomorrow at 3:30. I was surprised and gave the details of the discussion yesterday making the appointment and was told -“no it is tomorrow”. I told them I can’t make it tomorrow and they asked “do you want to cancel”? One staff member asked if I wanted to see if there were later appointments and I could come back. I live about 50 minutes away so that can’t work. Another staff member reviewed today’s bookings and suggested a therapist could be available at 4:00- then the women who told me my appointment was tomorrow replied-“ no he can’t because he has to take his break. “A Very unfortunate experience.

Not the best massage I have ever had. I called and booked a 90 minute massage to realize that it is an 80 minute massage with 10 minutes of consulting that was useless. I enjoyed my massage then was told i have to pay a non-member price which was 150$ but the member price is 75$. Just ridiculous not worth paying the member fee, or the non-member price.

I met the ladies that run this awesome place through the gym. Walking in is definitely an experience that you can tell they put time to. You want a relaxed setting? This is the place. Staff is friendly and always helpful and making sure I can drive home safe and have water because im literally like a zombie when Im done with a 90 minute massage with Sybil. haha Keep up the good work ladies!

Celeste is an amazing massage therapist and a master of her craft. However, the last facial I had was basically a waste of time and money. It seemed as if the aesthetician was doing it for the first time. Very young and seemingly inexperienced. It was laughable.

Amazing, from the time I made the spoil it and checked to the end. I had a conversation with the massage therapist and listened to my concerns, was dead in with hitting the areas that bothered me the most.

I have had 3 massages here by three different angels . They were all attentive, gentle and sensitive to my needs. I am so glad that I bought a membership. I now look forward to my monthly appointments.

I have such terrible knots and trigger points in my neck and shoulders and Steven did an amazing job on them! Its hard to find a massage therapist that knows how to properly massage the knots in my neck and he did a great job.

Terrible experience! I went for a facial after receiving a gift card. I made my appt for a few days later. They were not very nice when I made the appt, but I kept it anyway. Should have gone with my first instinct and changed to another location. The facial itself was great - Angela is excellent! Then they try to sell you a membership. I told her I would think about it. I was going to join at some point, just not sure about the timing or location. So glad I waited. I went to check out and the girl couldnt get my gift card to work. I tried to show her the email to show her it was valid. She didnt want to see it, wouldnt try to call someone, she wanted me to pay. She said maybe I had to wait a few days before the gift card was valid. The email did not say anything about that, only the expiration time from purchase date. Clearly she hadnt a clue why it wouldnt work, but that is not my problem. I told her I would not pay by anything other than the gift card. I knew it was valid. She kept saying the aesthetician had to get paid. Fine, pay her. Massage envy has the money already when they sent me the gift card. She was really nasty and had no interest in solving the problem, just wanted me to pay. She wrote down my gift card number and said she would speak to the manager. I told her to have the manager call me. Hopefully the manager will get it to work but I will never go back there again. If they are independently operated I may try another location. My girlfriend said Florham Park is good, but they are further away. May be worth the drive.

I was having severe neck pain and called to set an appt. I explained my condition -they recommended deep tissue and I got an appt with Scherri.SHE IS AMAZING! She listened to my issues and focused on that area. She was knowledgeable and explained as she worked and after gave me a 30 second exercise to help me.There was no pressure to purchase they asked and I explained right now its not in my budget.I have already recommended Scherri to 3 friends and family for their specific issues as well.

Don’t become a member here! They make it extremely difficult to cancel. Bought a six month membership. In order it cancel and not have it automatically renew I had to literally go IN PERSON to cancel. I had one remaining session THAT I PAID for and they said I lost it because I haven’t been there in a few months and am no longer a member. Their solution when I told them I was upset, in pain and needed a session (the one I PAID for) was to join for another 6 months. Really? No thank you! Assistant manager was rude and completely unprofessional. Rockaway location is better. Save yourself the headache and go somewhere else.

Easy to book appointments, next day available. Alot of background noise which i am not use to at other locations, busy front desk. Slamming doors, talking. Therapists are ok, havent found the therapist for me yet.

For months my fiancé and I got couples massages at Rockaway Massage Envy. I call the Chester location and am told there is an additional $20 fee for a couples massage. WHY?!Rockaway never had an additional fee.

Bait and switch on the membership. Buyer beware. If you buy a membership as a gift for someone, note that although they tell you the membership begins when the recipient has their first appointment, this is not the truth. The membership period begins when you purchase it. For example, if you bought someone a 6 month membership on December 5th as a Christmas gift, almost the entire first month would be lost by the time you gave them the gift, leaving them with only 5 months of membership. This is even more problematic when there are no weekend or evening appointments available for a few weeks. Also note that unless you cancel your membership in writing at the end of the time period purchased, they will auto-renew your membership and charge your credit card.

Margaret was very good. Very responsive to the areas that I stated needed work. Repeatedly checked to make sure pressure was good. I would definitely go to Margaret again!

I spoke to a gentleman named Justin, he is a herbalist who has been training for over 4 years and has knowledge in all kinds of interesting qualities in plants.Did you know that a dandelion has multiple medicinal qualities and that willow bark has an extract that we then use in our modern aspirn? Or that if you use rose petals in tea, they can with sadness over the loss of love? Or that there are two types of cinnamon??I freakin didn’t!! And now I know more than just that haha. Justin is super smart and I look forward to speaking with him again and learning more.Please check this guy out, he’s really awesome haha.

I became a member october 2017 and decided to not renew my membership for 2018 after it has expired i had to fill out more papers to cancel and i had 3 more sessions left upon scheduling appointments so i would not loss them one was made 11/2 and 11/16 this week i received a phone call within 2 days asking me to reschedule. Soon my 3 sessions will expired at the end of the month and i will not be able to use them i am very disappointed on the last minute cancellation when my schedule is full. I will not recommend nor refer anyone to the chester location 😤

It was an oily rub down with the lack of any actual massage. I spent 42 minutes on my face. Very little time spent on my arms and legs. I literally went right home to shower. I was coated in oil.
