The bartender, Ethan, is the best! So nice! He helped recommend drinks to me that I would like. Very friendly, good service, kind smile. Now that Bar District is open on Tuesdays, I can come more often and have a place to dance on my day off.

Tasty brunch options! The atmosphere is great, and they have a wide selection of drinks! Servers were very friendly and attentive.The bottomless mimosas are a great deal for a Sunday brunch!**Edit now that they have been open for a while**Still very friendly staff, however, its really hard to get a frozen drink! They never seem to have them on, and when they do, they do not have the awesome flavors they did before! Last visit they were out of almost everything, ie: red bull, beer on tap, Corona, bloody Mary mix. I didnt feel like asking about other options.

The bouncer was incredibly rude. It was definitely a misunderstanding but in my experience if I’m the person who doesn’t have all the information and someone is telling me something try being a little reasonable and understanding instead of just yelling. The DJ and I were friends, I was dancing down in the pit with my friends he waved me over so I go up and he says he has to go to the bathroom and to stay here, so my friends and I are chilling dancing not really doing anything, all the sudden bouncers come over and it was really one in particular, im trying to explain that he told me to stay here, he’s just yelling at me so we get down and the DJ comes back and explains that we’re friends and the bouncer says oh ok, and personally If im rude to someone I would apologize and he didn’t and it went downhill from there. Must be compensating cause as 6ft buff man doesn’t make sense to get in a girls face and yell at her. Honestly never want to come back.

Advertised online as ladies night $10, my wife was charged $12. According to other posts, some people have been charged as high as $20 for ladies night! Why the variance? Now pls understand weve been here before, and the DJ those nights had a solid mix of multiple decades of top rated dance music. Even the newest stuff got you on the floor. Well, not tonight! The DJ attempts to turn it into rave. Ive been to raves, I like raves. What this guy did was just poor taste, repetitive, and over modulated. And as for the bar, I ordered a Long Island and got a drink that looked like a rum and coke. Its supposed to be just enough soda to create that tea like color. Second drink order, had someone else make it and thought I had a chance. What did I get? Who knows! But it tasted fruity. Returned it, and the person who was making the 3rd drink was my friend from drink #1 again. This time, the pours were even shorter counts than the first, and when the soda started being added, the drink was still 25% away from the rim. All I could taste was the coke. This was when we walked out. What a joke!

Probably the closest Fort Collins gets to a night club. No entry fee. Cleanliness is going to be lacking on a Saturday night with drink spills on the furniture etc. Pretty good sized dance floor with DJ. If youre into the LOUD dance scene, this is your place. If you want to be able to hear what people are saying, go next door to Brothers; they also have a dance floor.

Morgan the bartender is amazing! Super fun spot in old town! Ramband is definitely a must at least once

3 out of the 4 times I went were great. That 4th time, was just disappointing. The DJ thought he was at a South American rave or something. Music was not a good fit. The bartenders could not get a Long Island IceT figured out. And no food at all.

Loved The Bar District, definitely fun vibes and a good place to watch games. Within walking distance to everything downtown FoCo.

Bartender let me order 4 shots & 4 drinks but didnt tell me they were doing last call right after (12am). They expected me to chug my drinks, then they refused to let me use their bathroom...

The 2 head bouncers Brad and Alex I believe it is they are horrible bouncers they don’t respect any of the customers and body shame the hell out of girls they will find any way to get someone banned example they banned me because they didn’t like me ok that’s funny. They will ban girls for not dressing correctly y’all are weird for that one. They also like going up to people and telling you gotta go when they will be talking to someone these two need to get talked about because I’m pretty sure they are both a perv

I went to Rec tonight in my halloween costume and was told i was breaking rules because my costume wasn’t closed. I saw SEVERAL men with their shirts open and no words were spoken to them. The fact I had had my shirt open (as every other man can wear) and my nipples were covered and i was still told i should be kicked out. I am astonished by the judgement and general stereotypes that were placed on me.. I have been to this bar so many times and have never experienced the sexism I experienced. Not only was I told i can’t wear it but I was told that my costume was disappointing to women. If you want to be in a comfortable atmosphere do not go here.

We’ve always had good luck coming here. We came on a Friday night and didn’t have to wait in too long of a line to get in. The frozen drinks are always delicious- but boozy so maybe limit it to just one!

My friends had a terrible experience with the bouncer at this bar. He was rude, aggressive, and completely unprofessional, particularly to the queer women in the bar. It was clear that he was picking on them for no reason other than his own personal homophobia.Overall, I would not recommend this bar to anyone based on their experience with their discriminatory bouncer. Its a shame that they allow someone like him to represent their establishment and treat their customers so poorly. If youre looking for a welcoming and inclusive environment, look elsewhere.

DO NOT GO HERE IF YOU WANT A GOOD TIME!I am a Colorado native and I was excited to try this place out for the first time. It was an awful experience. The bar tender was fantastic, the atmosphere seemed fun. But after I got my drink and started dancing too hard they had 3 people come up to me to kick me out of the place. The girl with the bangs said its not personal but it felt like I was targeted for having a good time. I was celebrating my birthday and Ive been bar hopping in Colorado for years. Ive NEVER been kicked out of a bar before, this was a first. If you want to dance like a robot and be very conservative this is the place for you. There are so many better bars in this area. I left with my friends and the other great establishments had no problems letting me in and serving me more alcohol. This place is just sensitive. Cops were everywhere too. Save your money and support the other bars in the area - please!

This is a huge sports bar in the old town. Their food is great and service is good too.

Pretty quiet once it gets past 12:30, but their deals on Ladies night Fridays and Ramband are super tough to beat. Great spot to pregame if youre looking to have fun in Old Town on a night out

Nice bar, very much sports bar oriented. It can get busy and noisy (especially when CSU is playing) but the comradery is great! Prices are very reasonable and the food is typical for a bar whose main revenue source is beer and cocktails. I dont believe they take reservations but if you get there early you can claim space if youre hosting an event (open house style would be the most ideal).

Came on Thursday the 28 of December and the music was not as good as it usually is. Usually a GREAT bar but with the wrong dj it doesn’t work.

Went to this bar last weekend to watch the Nuggets play with a group of friends. Social distancing was very obviously not respected here. There was a group seated at the marked off table right next to our group and they were continuously served throughout the night. Three people in our group noticed incorrect charges on their cards the next day. When attempting to reach out to the bar to resolve this, there was no phone number to be found and when messaging the bar on Facebook, there was no response. Overall this bar did not feel safe during a pandemic and their customer service was lacking. On top of this, one of our friends was asked to leave by security on the basis of perceived intoxication. However, when speaking to head of security, our friend was very coherent and had only had 1.5 drinks that night. During that conversation, the head of security strongly said that she should have taken our friend out the back and had her exit into the alley without informing her group. We were very surprised that a female security guard would have had such little concern for the safety of a fellow woman. Definitely suggest avoiding this place.

Okay. So I usually try and leave the best and positive reviews of my experiences through the cities Ive lived and traveled too. However, tonight was a little different. I will start with the positives. Very clean environment, especially as things begin to open up. Very quick entrance, even though the line was moderatly long. And thats about where it ends. I will say the bartender was very nice, at first, however the drinks were only half poured, and the music was stuck on a 2008 repeat. Unfortunately, not in a good way. Im not usually one to leave long reviews like this, but this was my first time out, post vaccine, since last March (2020)and I guess I had higher hopes for a place that had such raving reviews from my friends and other locals. This review may be only temporary, as I will likely give it another shot, when the weather is warmer and more people are out and about. But really, after all the decent things said about this place, they sure left something to desire.

Just waay too many screens- there’s a theatre sized screen that soo bright and hurt my eyes. I guess it’s good for watching sports but for nightlife no. Dim lighting is preferred. Floors get sticky with all spilled drinks and napkins it’s gross. The speakers sound screechy, and no space or room to breathe especially on a Friday for Ladies nite.

The Bar District lures young girls in with free entry tickets and cheap wristbands to girls 21 and up.Ladies be cautious we are certain that a patron at The Bar District drugged a CSU female student on a Friday night.I see that multiple people in different reviews have asked for a phone number to your business. Why wont you provide one?If I could give your business zero stars I would do that as a safety precaution to others.

Got kicked out after 1 drink for hitting on the doorman? (Told him he was hot, my bad?) And then was not let back in to get my ID, talk to the people I was with or get my stuff. It apparently took allllll of the bouncers to let me know I was kicked out? We were there for 15 mins and when I went out to have a cigarette they wouldnt let me back in...which was freaking awful as it wasnt even 1030 on a Saturday

The blue flamingo is so delicious. The service was quick and friendly and the area is open are spacious. A great improvement from the previous establishment.Lowering the star rating as they really scaled back the frozen drinks which to me was the main draw. They almost never have frozen drinks at all and when they do its just two plain flavors that dont taste like much and honestly arent very good.

Got discriminated against at the door by bouncer checking IDs. I have a really nice tattoo on my hand and was dressed dapper. He said I couldnt come in because of my hand tattoo. Pretty much destroyed our plans for the evening as the bar was hopping. Must be a bad place to work with discriminating bouncers at the door. Make sure you have another place to go to in case you dont get in for nit picky little things like having a hand tattoo.

Went to watch the Super Bowl here. Not too busy, got in pretty quick. Sat for a bit and didn’t know I was supposed to order food and drink at the bar. Both my food orders were miscommunicated but fixed by management super quick! What sets a place apart from the rest good communication and a willingness to correct errors. Everyone was so friendly, positive and attentive! Great music and vibe! Any job openings? I served previously!!

My boyfriend and I came to check out The Bar District on awa on our date night and we LOVED it! Ive been in Fort Collins for several years now and this place is a new step in the right direction for bars in Old Town. We had Curtis, the beverage director of several bars around old town, as our bartender and he was phenomenal. He went out of his way several times to really make sure we enjoyed our time -- he made special surprise cocktails (one with fire!) And even gave us a personal tour of the building. All around, super fun and very impressed!

It was fun at first but one of the bartenders was mad that my friend was with me and not her and waved her down. He thought she was a friend and she took it offensively. We got kicked out and it was really rude. We didn’t fight with them, we just left. I even thanked them to show “hey no problems here” I honestly cannot believe that it happened. Just kinda disappointed that it happened because of jealousy

This is a fun college bar to go to with your friends, it’s clean and has a good atmosphere. However: check your bank account the next morning. Every single time I’ve been there a member of our group has been double charged for a purchase. Every. Single. Time. It is getting the point it is obvious this is being intentionally done.

I was meeting up with a group of my friends for an evening of drinks. I respectfully stayed 6 feet apart in line from everyone else. I asked the bouncer (who I know by name but won’t mention) if I was allowed to visit my friends. The rules are you can’t sit more than 8 at a table but they only had 7. He told me I was not allowed to visit them. I sat at the bar for 20 minutes watching all sorts of people visit their friends with alcoholic beverages in their hands well over the capacity of 8 people. I decided to walk over and give it a shot. They ripped my drink out of my hand and told me I needed to leave the premise. At this moment in time, I was between the bar and the patio (where my friends were seated) clearly on public property. I told the woman I was on public property and she could not legally enforce me to leave. She then walked away. 10 minutes later, they sent someone else out to tell my friends they were not allowed to speak to me across the fence otherwise they would be asked to leave. So they tried to force me off public property and then attempted to kick my friends out when they tried to speak with me over the fence. This place sucks. the drinks are watered down, sugary, and a waste of money.

Went here last week with a couple of friends due to Brothers being at max capacity. All table were taken so the group 4 of us got beers and took a side bar spot that had 2 open seats with other people on the other sides, making two of us stand. A man with dreads was working security and approached me to let me know that due to COVID restrictions, I was required to have a drink at a table to be able to take my mask off. But in any conversation I had with him, he had both of his hands around me as if I knew him. This really broke my social bubble (especially since the pandemic). I acknowledged and went on the side of my friends leaning on the table just to get this guy off me. Later I went to the bathroom and came back to rejoin my friends. Almost immediately was met by the same guy telling me the same thing. I agreed again and simply asked why he singled me out as their were multiple others standing off a table with no mask. I was very apparent in showing discomfort in him touching me. This made him angry and went to grab another security guard. Thankfully the other security guard had better reasoning and made the dreaded security guard leave us alone. I wont spend another dollar there. Its hard enough going out during Covid but to have an employee Ive never talked to think its alright to touch customers is unacceptable. I wanted to call in to complain the next day but no number online either. Bad accountability, bad service, not following guidelines for social distancing and not following 80% max capacity.

Super friendly staff! Curtis took us for a tour of the place and asked us if he could have some fun with our cocktails. Drinks were awesome. Love the vibe. Seems like they have some cool plans for the future, so this may be my new go-to in Old Town.

Discriminating doorman wouldnt let my friend in for having a hand tattoo, even though he was dressed classy. Ruined our night with the ladies because of it. Hes a good looking guy so the doorman mustve been a jealous person.

Terrible over priced. Left our tab open with the bar tender . Then later another server asked us if we wanted anything and we ordered a beer. Then later the bartender asked us if we were ok and said yes. When we closed out our tab with the bartender and paid. Then the other server told us we owed her. What was the point of leaving your tab open to get charged with two different tabs. Not happy would not recommend

Stopped by for a girls night out and the vibe was great, DJ was amazing, and the service was pretty good, too.

Kicked out because my 52 year old husband stumbled down the stairs. Told he had enough to drink and needed to leave! No one asked if it was due to an injury!

Update: They responded on Instagram... Just waiting for a resolution and I will update again...While we had a great time during the Avs watch party and the bartenders were very friendly and kept up well with the crowd,, the day after when I looked at our bank account I noticed that they made a SEPERATE transaction on our card for $48.09..This after I turned in money that someone dropped on the floor and we gave them a $20 tip...$48.09 may not be a big deal to the young crowd they draw in but to a married couple with kids,, its a lot!Ive reached out on their social media messengers since they dont provide a phone number anywhere so we will see if anyone gets back to me to fix this issue..

I was drugged there last night. I have tried to call the bar multiple times but no one answered. I wanted to give the bartenders a heads up that someone was drugging people there. I was wondering if they could check the cameras to see who or how I was slipped a roofie. Really bummed out that no one will pick up the phone so I can talk to them about the incident. It was even difficult to find contact information to the bar too.

Only played remixes of songs from a 2002 MTV special it seemed. Terrible music every time. You could put on 96.1 on the radio and the music would be more up to date and better than what the DJ plays every time. And if a decent song accidently comes on it is instantly altered by some 2004 house music

Service was awesome! We had a few appetizers on a Sunday and they also gave us some free little donut holes. Fun place, will definitely be a cool spot to go dancing once covid is gone.

They told us that they wouldn’t allow my hispanic friend in with a bandana as a facial covering. we complied with their rule as we assumed it was a “dress code” however after eventually being let in, we saw multiple white people get let in with bandanas as face masks. the “manager” named Gigi who was wearing a bright green security shirt did nothing to deescalate the situation and was completely unprofessional from the start to the end. me and my friends are absolutely disgusted by what went down here and we will never be back

The district in old Town refused to let me in because of the 3 dots tattood by my eye...Zero gang affiliation. Not a tattood triangle. Just my fav number tattd in a place I could always see. Plus Ive been allowed in there previously. ..Either way; I wont return EVER.Straight up, they immediately treated me like I was less than, all because of my self expression. ... how is this acceptable? I didnt even know you could turn away a paying customer ANYWHERE based on appearance.

I love this bar and all the bartenders, they always offer amazing service and it’s a great environment. I would recommend this bar to anyone visiting Fort Collins. If i had to choose a favorite bartender it would be emma she was fast, friendly and always remembers my drink.

This place profiled my hispanic friend by saying he couldn’t wear a bandana as a facial covering but proceeded to allow multiple white people in wearing bandanas exactly like his in front of our face. we tried to speak to the manager about this and they denied it over and over. we then tried to speak to the owner and he hid and would not speak to us. then as my friend was leaving on his own terms security rushed up to “escort” him out even though he was acting extremely calm. my friends reviews keep getting taken down about this situations which is also very frustrating.

A very fun new bar in foco, and great service. In particular, the busser/bouncer named Dolla is amazing and has the best customer service I’ve had at a bar in Old Town, Fort Collins (made the experience). Has potential to be a great new spot!

You guys were awesome there for a minute by not enforcing the insane and pointless covid protocols. Now back to tables only? Sorry but Im not paying 7.75 for 12 oz of stella when I cant even mingle with others. Its suppposed to be a fun lively bar but doesnt really live up to that when you cant be fun or lively. Im sure youll post some bs response about the county or health inspector but as far as Im aware they basically got rid of covid capacity limits. Also, if you werent doing it before, why do it now? This was our first time here and everything was exceptional.Our food was really good and the server was wonderful. We cant wait to go back.Oh and the atmosphere was great.

Waiting in line for an hour in 20° weather as the bouncer let in people that had just shown up and didn’t wait at all. This happened numerous times. 20 people went in before me at least. I consulted the bouncer about it asking if he let a group in because they were his friends and he said, “would you be mad if I said yes?” Terrible business going on here.

Why are you advertising and handing out free ladys tickets at a college campus? If you have to be over 21 to go anyways more than half the people youre giving on to cant go.

This place is super nice and spacious with really good atmosphere. The wait staff is attentive and friendly and the food was good. Prices were similar to other places in downtown Fort Collins.

Fort Collins Oldtown has a unique set of bars and eateries. From dive bars to sports bars to Irish pubs, while the selection might be small there is at least one of most everything!

The food was great, but the crowd overwhelmed the staff here. Limits on the amount of people permitted at a time and waits are okay if it means the quality of service would improve.

Loud. Not my vibe really. But a decent place to dance with better lighting and more room than the rec room.

There’s multiple “mini bars” inside of this one place! I love the concept. They usually have food from a nearby restaurant to serve plates of as well.
