If I could rate it 0 stars I definitely would. I had a horrible experience today. I went for a 30 minute table massage and it was nothing less than painful and bad. The guy that did my massage was very ruff and it seemed like he was just trying to hurt me more than anything. Whenever id move my body because of the pain he would just say dont move. He stretched my arms back in a way no other place has and I feel sore. Seemed like he rushed to get me out and then automatically wanted to tip himself 15 dollars. I told him Id give him 10 and he just looked mad. I honestly shouldnt have given him anything because it hurt. I didnt go there to get beat up and went to relax and get a back massage but now Im in more pain than went I went inside. Id honestly just want to money back and would never let anyone in my family or friends go anywhere near this place. Very unprofessional...

I really like The Art of Health. Any time I am feeling achy and stiff due to stress or physical activity, I go there and they make me feel like new! Everyone is very professional and the facility is clean. Highly recommended!

This place was AWWWWWWW SOME. They really did a great job on my wife and I. We were suppose to shop, but I felt better getting a massage. Glad I did.

I have been coming here for years and I love it. Always clean, decently priced, and they also offer cupping. The Chair/Table combo is tops and 💯 would recommend.For those of you complaining about the tipping: Tom and his staff are on their feet 10+ hours a day 7 days a week providing a service. Here is a rule of of thumb…if you can’t afford it or refuse tip you getting a massage should be the least of your concern.

Not only was the person who gave me my massage super rough but it was obvious he spent part of the time using his phone while only using one hand on my back… I could hear the clicks. I’m still super sore and it’s been over 8 hours since the massage. You get what you pay for I guess. Today was a spur of the moment decision and I can guarantee I will not be returning.

Tips are not optional. If you cant afford to tip do not get the service. Obviously these privileged folk complaining on here havent had to work a service job before...I LOVE my massages here. I drive a good way to get them too. Respect the time and EFFORT they put in. Tip your masseuse.

Waited 20 minutes to get a massage. I was the only one at the time, then 15 minutes in 3 other guys showed up. Then they took one of the guys that came in after me! I dont know what they were saying, but they clearly didnt care that I was there first. I just left. They lost a customer!!

Very bad service from the men that work there. While getting my massage the guy was on the phone the whole time, so disappointing! Never coming back again!

Horrible place. Save the money you would spend here, for somewhere much more professional and better sanitized. My girlfriend and I had the same problem as a few others with these mandatory tips, I mean as far as were concerned - a tip is optional and a gesture, correct? Super unprofessional, I honestly believe that the 10 minute massage we paid for - EACH - were about 5-6 minutes total, each. The lady that attended my girlfriend automatically charged her for both of our massages because we walked in together however didnt even ask if we were paying separate or together. While my girlfriend, being confused why she was charged $24 instead of $12, was aside I went up to pay for my massage unbeknownst that upon me paying $20, I was given back only $10 because she thought I was paying for both our tips. After this we were even more confused and finally asked and managed to clear things, without a second thought she just rudely started saying OKAY GIVE ME BACK (The $10 for my $20) but first turned back to another employee, spoke for about a minute and just turned to me and said TIP, TIP, TIP and pointed to their tip jar. At that point, we didnt want to start anything or continue further and figured to the just leave the $10 to start no problems. Regret this massage, regret even wanting to come in and regret having to pay for this. Dont do what we did.

ExperiencedPrice is fantastic and I felt rejuvenated.Great overall....Oh by the way, tips are acceptable and IMHO they *should be given tips* especially considering their prices for the massage in the first place being aprox a dollar a minute. 😁

I was a returning customer however the woman I got today was very rough! Was not enjoyable. I’ve been to other massage places before and I’ve never experienced actual pain maybe some discomfort but this time it was painful and to top things off she acted like she deserved more of a tip?! I gave 10$ tip for my moms massage and she pointed to the receipt and said “for two people”yes ma’am!would not recommend this place

I pay for $30 for a chair massage, was good, when I pay the $30 the guy ask for the mandatory tips I said that I was under a budget and cannot give him tips for this occasion then he was really angry and say that I should left tips, honestly they havent an special attention or something extra in the service for a tip. The price for the massage was $30 and I pay for that. Never will come there and I dont recommend the place.

I’ve never been here, but it’s common sense that you tip after a massage. I’m assuming the people complaining are the same type that stiff the waiter. If you can’t afford to tip then you don’t deserve the service!

Obligate you to leave at least a 5 dollar tip. My mom was going to leave a two dollar tip because that’s all the cash she had and the guy looked at my mom like she was crazy. He was so rude and unprofessional. Told my mother “only two dollars” I found that very rude. Will not be coming back here again.

I went to this place 2 days ago and I am in still in pain due to the super strong deep tissue massage. I have had deep tissue massages in various locations with many therapists throughout the years, but this was by far the worst! I took a 45 minute bed massage and while I kept alerting the guy that he is way too deep, he kept going! I have been taking painkillers for the 2nd day now, and the pain is still acute and sharp under my left shoulder blade. I really doubt they are all licensed. I may have developed a sensory or muscle injury due to this, because I have been to their location in Lincolnwood mall before, but it never hurt so bad and for so long! DO NOT RECOMMEND AND WILL NEVER GO BACK! If the pain continues I may make a formal complaint to the licensing Heath authorities that granted these people a license!!

I love this place! They get at the knots. Its important to communicate to the masause which areas are bothering you. Always tip guts! These humans are using their strength to help you out. They deserve over 20% every time!!!!!!

Save your money. Extremely painful for a table massage. Although friendly and professional - but too much pain and minimal relief. Never again. Clearly, they took watched tutorials in YouTube on how to massage and thought that was enough to qualify for actually treating people.

Massage was good. Over priced for bright lights and Massage therapist screaming back-and-forth at each other. Pillow looked like they put everyone’s head on them without washing. Yuck

Horrible place!!! please everyone do your homework and read the reviews this place should be closed down, the men there are very rude and not trustable at all, on top of that they obligate you to leave a $5 tip! One of the men got into an argument because the customer decided not to leave a tip, he chased him outside yelling at him and demanding a tip! Would NOT recommend this place at all.

Waited 20 minutes for a massage for them to tell me that they couldnt do it anymore it was to late even though I asked before I started to wait

I usually get a 10 minute chair and it does helps my back pain . I would like to try cupping next time.
