Had a wonderful morning of relaxation here! My facial with Penny was wonderful and rehydrating. (The strawberry rhubarb items were amazing!) JauQeel provided the best massage I’ve ever had. I have a lot of work stress built up in my shoulders and it’s gone now! I’ll defiantly be coming back here. I recommend the salt room after any session to fully complete a relaxing day. :)

I had one of the best massage experiences at lapis and Oak with Audrey. I’ve been suffering from a shoulder injury for Sometime now, she was really able to give me a lot of mobility back in my shoulder. I’m very excited for my follow up appointment next month.

Wonderful spa day at this gem! Staff was friendly and welcoming. My therapist Tuan was excellent. My massage was customized to meet my needs. He also worked on my sciatic nerve pain with deep tissue work and stretching. The Salt room was very relaxing and a great way to end the experience. I’d definitely recommend this spa!

Yesterday was my first time at Lapis & Oak for a much-needed massage. The staff was very friendly. The facilities were clean and welcoming. The Salt Room was simply a slice of heaven that helped me relax before my 80 minute massage. The massage was WONDERFUL! I’m still feeling the effects of being relaxed the next day! I WILL be returning in the future! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!!

Lucy is absolutely amazing. I’ve been carrying a lot of trauma in my back and neck and she has helped release so much of it. She is extremely knowledgeable in her craft and such a bright soul. If you’re ready to heal both physically and spiritually you must book with Lucy!!!

Ive been here for a facial appt today.I love the reception desk... they are so kind patient and informative. The esthetician was Lisa and shes amazing! She guided me to the right kind of facial I was looking for. It was very friendly service and relaxing. I really feel well taken care of. My face feels great and I went to the salt room after for 45min which was so chill. I feel a difference in my lungs and some congestion is gone.

Had a deep tissue massage with Kristie! She was wonderful. So kind and considerate and really spent time focusing on problem areas to help them feel better. I will absolutely be seeing her again!

I get facials once a month with Katana and am always happy with my results. Shes so sweet and always does exactly what I ask for and caters to my specific needs each session. I have never gotten facials regularly until I found her and now Im a member here! 10/10 would recommend her!

After trying other massage therapists in the area, I finally found Maureen who has worked with me consistently for over a year now. Unlike other massage therapists, she asks specific questions and truly takes the time to customize her services.

Jayden is amazing at his craft. He also knows how to control his massage depth and that’s rare. He pinpointed in on a trigger point I have that’s making me lose range of motion in my shoulder and I left with way more movement. Grateful and will request him again.Ada is so relaxing and therapeutic at the same time. She has the best touch and a loving soul.

My boss bought me a package with a foot treatment, massage and salt room. It was very enjoyable. Kim did my foot treatment and massage. Surprisingly, my favorite of the three was the foot treatment. The rooms were beautifully decorated and so relaxing. I would definitely go again.

I had a car accident in December and have been having pain in my right shoulder and hips. I came in with Tuan for an 80 minute massage. Today I feel so much relief!!!! He is an expert, and his technical knowledge of the muscular skeletal system is amazing. I am a massage therapist and he is very corrective yet uses a pressure that does not engage armoring. Very professional and timely. I will be back!

Update: This place WAS the best place. It no longer cares if a loyal long time customer didn’t get what I was paying for…the massage therapist did too much personal talking and no ability to do normal deep tissue massage. Just rubbed skin. It was irritating. That’s not a massage, especially from here. After 20 minutes of discussing not to rub and trying with the therapist we mutually agreed she wasn’t able to assist. I was let out about 25-30 minutes. Literally, I only had 10 minutes of actual massage after turning over, then over again , the trying the percussion gun, meanwhile talking she’s whole time. Zero relaxation and added frustration and stress. Yet, I was charged for a whole session. I spoke with the girl charging me at the desk and told her I buy lots of products and other services besides massage here for years. All she said was sorry. I told her if you charge me for a full session you will lose a loyal customer for good. She gave 10% off. What a joke! She just said she was sorry about that too. All she could do. So, my card still charged. Lapis and oak Spa has changed their customer service. It’s ALL about the money they take from you, it’s no longer about the service they give. It’s too bad. I’ll find a different place. So so so disappointing! Does Tommy still actually run the place. It was good when he did. 8-10-2024This place has an absolutely amazing atmosphere. Due to my travel schedule , I’ve had to use different massage therapists when they’re available. They ALL are very professionally SKILLED and do a great HIGH QUALITY job. This place is simply the best place to go to relax or to recover from life’s injuries or stresses. 5 stars!!

My massage was alright. Online I wasn’t able to select the gender of my therapist and I thought I had signed up for a salt massage and do not believe I got anything but a basic massage. I was a bit cold throughout the experience and didn’t know the bed could be heated.

Ive had this place bookmarked for some months, decided to visit for my birthday. Best decision ever! From the minute I walked in, I was greeted warmly by the staff. They all wished me a Happy Birthday, and even gave me a gift ! That was such a pleasant surprise!I love how personable they were. Not just giving me a gift ( I mean, who doesnt like gifts 😏 But, throughout the entire experience, they kept asking if I was okay, comfortable, or if I needed anything in general.My service I picked was the body treatment- this was done by SJ. Absolutely loved her personality! She knew everything there is to know about body treatments, and how important it is to engage in self-care.She also shared how happy she was to work for that establishment. How great they treated their staff members. That was absolutely refreshing to hear that. I believe if the staff is happy, the customer will receive the benefits.In addition, to the body spa treatment, I also added a diamond mask add on. This is my 2nd message of my life. Doing new things is always a tad scary. From the moment you walk into the doors you are stepping in to somewhere to peaceful. The lighting is dim, I was greater right away, and it smelled amazing. The back room is even more relaxing very dim with amazing sounds of waterfalls. Everything is clean, and well put together. I was taken to the back by Kim and she was more than amazing. Made me feel very comfortable, asked me what brought me in, and helped me to not feel guilty about pampering my self. I will definitely be back.

Had an amazing experience this past Saturday at Lapis and Oak. Kim does an amazing massage with excellent pressure. Lisa does a wonderful facial and explains the individualized plan and products she’s using. Pair those services with the clean & relaxing environment and friendly staff makes for a small glimpse of heaven on Earth.

I got a facial here and it was the best facial I have had in years! The esthetician and the staff were amazing. The rooms are very luxurious, clean and relaxing. The atmosphere is stellar. Already scheduled to go back!

The massage therapist here are fantastic. The prices have gone up a bit so its for a special occasion these days. Sometimes hard to deal with the front desk, but its well worth it once you get in.

I had a wonderful experience! I came in from out of town. I was experiencing allergies and salt therapy helps relieve the symptoms. The staff was friendly. The room was quiet and relaxing and I loved the aesthetics. I was given a blanket and I fell right asleep. This is the BEST massage place in the city. seriously have NEVER had a bad or mediocre massage. I always leave feeling so much better. ALL the therapists here are excellent. They are all very skilled and often find a problem area i didnt even thing was an issueI cant say enough good things about them. Everyone is REALLY friendly as well. I am so comfortable with whoever I get. And the girls who do the facials are also SO skilled and friendly. I have sensitive skin and they are so accommodating and helpful. My skin feels so good after theyve worked on me and they are so patient with any concerns. The salt room is such a calming environment with comfortable seating and hanging nooks. I really cant say enough good things about this place. What shines the most, though, is the staff, who seem to be hand picked for their elite skill set and customer service.

What a great spa! This was was first visit (of many in the future!) and I started with the hour of salt therapy in the zero-gravity chair. It was therapeutic and calming and really set the tone for going into a much needed massage. SJ is an amazing deep tissue massage therapist. She really listens to your concerns and conducts the massage accordingly. I will definitely be returning as soon as my schedule permits me!

I travel to Henderson from Texas for work each month and my favorite part of my visit is the facial I book with Lisa at Lapis and Oak! I’ve had facials before at other spas that were very uncomfortable experiences. Lisa has completely changed my view on facials with her gentle touch and calming demeanor. And each session is personalized to a client’s specific needs. She is also very knowledgeable about face products and I’ve taken her up on many recommendations and have been very satisfied with all of them. And the office staff has always been incredibly sweet! I feel immediately relaxed when I walk in the door!

I’m torn with this review because the place and the people who work there were very nice. The atmosphere was wonderful. My friend and I had our appointments at 10am for a massage, by the evening we could barely move. My whole back, shoulders and neck are sore to the touch. I’ve had a few massages before and have never felt like this.

Felt wonderful… Hot stones were AMAZING… next was Facial for 60 minutes. Look no further! Lapis & Oak ticks all of the boxes. Ambiance, tranquility, and professionalism. Kim and Gabriela (massage therapists) are absolutely wonderful! Kim is really great at structural integration and Gabriela was dead on when it came to combining deep tissue technique and relaxation. I have felt amazing each and every time I come out of there. They really listen to what you need and provide.I had a membership where you can add a free salt therapy session which Ive done once so far, its a really great option if you like to rest after your massage and recuperate. The membership is nice if you like automatic payments. I, on one hand, had to cancel my membership so that I can manually pay for massages but honestly there is nothing wrong with the membership I just have a different situation. Plus it comes out cheaper with the add-on service included. Massage envy should run because I can see several of these locations competing in the future. Thank you Lapis & Oak team for all you do!

Came here to do the friends retreat package and had an exceptional experience. Both of us had such wonderful massages that we think they may have been our best massages ever (thanks to Michelle and Gabrielle).Really enjoyed the salt treat room also. Very relaxing environment. Both of us were visiting from out of the area and are still trying to make plans to return before long.

I’ve never been one for massages. I’m a big dude and Vegas can just be very scammy. Got referred here from a family friend. Finally went because I had a bad dirt bike accident. Gabby is insanely knowledgeable, fun to converse with and super attentive as far as making sure you’re comfortable but still getting some progression. Rooms are very clean, quiet and comfortable. Already booked my appointment for next month. Did not expect to feel as good as I did from a massage, my back and neck haven’t felt this good in 6 months. Saying I’m impressed is an understatement.

Great experience! I had two treatments; a massage and a facial. I was treated wonderfully by both staff as well as by the reception staff. The atmosphere is extremely calming and much care was taken to make me comfortable. I live out of state, and found Lapis & Oak Spa close to my in-laws house. I have been there at least 5 or so times now since I found them and always come in for a custom facial to help my skin adjust to the dry weather. I have never had a bad experience here and would highly recommend them. Every facial I have received was extremely relaxing and done by professionals that have given me great tips on how to treat some of my skin related issues. I have not received any other treatment here, but I would assume the same sort of care would be given. 5 stars all day long in my book!

I had never been to Lapis and Oak before. I enjoyed how lovely it smelled when I first walked in. The place was very clean. The room was a little different then the typical set up for massage rooms. The bed was great, and already pre-warmed for me. I noticed the music was a little more exciting then the norm, but still very relaxing. I enjoyed it a lot. My masseuse was great. I typically lean towards females, but he did a great job. I had pulled a muscle in my lower back and was in a lot of pain. He used a sore muscle rub and also performed blading. It was a step above most massage experiences I’ve had. It was such a nice treat for myself and the experience was great. I will definitely be back.

Lisa, who gave me my facial, was amazing! My massage therapist was Gabriella and it was a very relaxing massage just as I requested. The only negative I have to say was that I ordered our services online, which was a facial and a massage, but when those were finished they told us we were going into the salt lounge. It being our first time there we did not know what to expect from our time there so we thought perhaps this was part of the experience so we didn’t say anything. Turns out it was an added cost. Disappointed that this was not presented as another service at a cost. We were just told we were going into the salt lounge. But the whole experience was relaxing and I would probably return if I lived there.

Lapis & Oak is an absolutely amazing spa! I have been regularly getting Athletic Edge massages with Liz D., who is insanely talented. She is the best masseuse that I’ve ever been to! Not only does she make me feel comfortable and relaxed, but being an athlete herself, Liz has been able to help my back pain/tension tremendously with her knowledge and skill set. I leave each session feeling refreshed, and ready for the next! In addition to the amazing service provided by Liz, the front desk staff is extremely helpful and friendly, and always makes me feel welcome! My husband and I each bought a monthly massage package back in February 2021 & have gone to Lapis every month since & LOVE IT! All the massage therapists are awesome, but in particular I LOVE Kim and my husband says Gabriela gives the best massages he’s ever had. Where to begin?! Lapis and Oak was seriously a dream!!! First off, the staff was amazing!! It is SO beautiful once you walk in and go back to your service room. You feel like you were just transported into a high end spa on the strip, not in a strip mall in Green Valley!My first service was a lymphatic drainage massage. I have been searching for a place who does them and the gal I had was SO knowledgeable about them and other issues I brought up! She was so friendly and I felt like I had known her forever and we ended up chatted my entire massage.My next service was with Dana and I received a custom facial. It was amazing! I think I almost fell asleep a few times. Dana helped educate me a little more on my skin and had some great recommendations for me which I purchased after my treatments.To round out my morning, I ended with the salt lounge. This is it, guys! It seems like everyone is always GO, GO, GO and we never really get time to recharge, but man, the salt lounge overflowed my cup! The zero gravity loungers and the heavy blanket were perfect! The silence in the salt lounge was the prescription I needed after a hectic and emotional week.If you ever want a de-stresser or just to pamper yourself at a beautiful place with knowledgeable people, head over to Lapis & Oak and check it out!! Promise you wont regret it!

I didnt know what to expect because it was in a strip mall but wow, It was a great experience. The ambiance was so peaceful. The warming bed put it over the top! Nicole was very professional and gave the perfect amount of pressure. I loved and will definitely return!

I booked a massage with Maureen and it was one of the best massages I’ve ever had!

The massage itself was wonderful, but I was asked multiple times (at the front desk and in the massage room) about adding enhancements which made the whole experience feel more sales-y than relaxing. The massage was already at a high price point so was not expecting this. Not sure I would return.

I see Maureen regularly and she is absolutely amazing. I have not seen another massage therapist since I started with her. She’s knowledgeable and intuitive and has helped SIGNIFICANTLY with pain and injuries from an old car accident. I recommend her to all my friends and look forward to seeing her every single time!

Ive been to Lapis & Oak Spa twice, and look forward to many future visits. My first experience was for a massage. I need therapeutic type massage due to spinal issues. Your run-of-the-mill massage therapist often leaves me in worse condition than when I walked in, so I was cautious. My fears were unfounded. The massage I received was SPECTACULAR! After 80 minutes, a knot that Id had for years was gone. I know continued therapy sessions will keep it away. My second visit was to the Salt Lounge. Id returned from an international trip and felt the beginning twinge of what I call an airplane cold. Id been told about the benefits of the Salt Lounge and gave it a try. In just one session that cold I felt building in my chest and sinuses was gone. I was shocked and cant say enough positive things about the experience. Thank you, Lapis & Oak, for creating this lovely spa!!

I was looking for a quick massage to escape from a stressful week for an hour or so. What I got was a completely unbelievable spa treatment that surpassed all my expectations. Margaret and Tommy were so welcoming and, more importantly, knowledgeable, efficient, and experienced; and it showed. In addition to providing the 80 minute massage, they also took the time to make sure I was comfortable and taken care of every step of the way. My massage with Tommy was expertly tailored to my preferences, and the bodywork he was able to recognize I needed left me relaxed, but also able to move more comfortably and easily! And, it didn’t end there. The salt room experience, (included after my massage!), is best described as icing on the cake. Absolutely high class, and well worth the cost. I will definitely be returning, and recommending Lapis & Oak highly to all my friends!

My first time at Lapis & Oak Spa after being given a gift card from a good friend. It was an awesome experience and I’ll definitely be back when I’m in the Vegas area. Frank provided a highly skilled 80 minute hot stone aromatherapy massage. It was amazing. I left feeling so relaxed and calm. I definitely recommend Frank, especially if you are experiencing any muscle soreness or pain.

Lapis & Oak Spa is excellent. From the massage, hot stones to the facial. Best Ive ever had and Gabrielle is a true blessing to have. Cant say enough about the spa and its employees. This was a great experience!!! The salt room was pretty cool and relaxing too. I have never been in one and this had zero gravity chairs and a couple large hanging chairs which were fun to try out. The massage was great too. Very relaxing and I was not sore after either, which is usually the case after I get a massage, so it was great. Would highly recommend them!!!

By far the most luxurious Spa off strip! My experience with Kim was phenomenal from the heated table to the massage I received. I went in very tight and came out feeling so much better. I could stand taller and breathe better with her knowledge of structural massage.

My 80 minute massage with Michelle was amazing. I had added hot stones and essential oils (Lavender) to my massage package. I came in pretty achy and Michelle worked out the knots I had and they were gone. I felt totally relaxed and afterwards I spent 45 minutes in their salt lounge. I wasnt quite ready to leave this amazing place!

Liz is theeeee best! I wish I could get a massage on a weekly basis. It felt like I was melting because it was so relaxing. This review is long overdue! Went to Lapis & Oak in December for a facial and massage with Penny. It was hands down the best spa experience I have ever had, and worth every penny. Yesterday was my first visit to Lapis and Oak, the ambiance and welcoming feeling was amazing.My massage therapist was Liz, she is very personable she listened to my concerns with regards to my lower back and hip pain.During the massage Liz also explained what she was doing and if the pressure was ok. I will say, I left feeling very relaxed and could feel the difference pre massage to post massage.Thank you Liz I look forward to another visit

I love the spa at Lapis & Oak. Always comfortable and quiet in the salt lounge with super comfy chairs and blankets. The foot soak is very relaxing and you get to pick your scent. Kim is my favorite massage therapist and always works out my kinks, and I have a lot. Her deep tissue massage is amazing. She gives me stretches to do at home to keep my muscles from getting so tight. Ive been going here for months now and would recommend it to everyone. Im so glad it opened up in my area. The staff is super friendly and they even sell spa products at the front desk.

I was given a gift certificate for this delightful spa to use while on visit Vegas. I am not local, I live in the San Diego area. If I lived closer I would definitely get a membership though. We started by sitting in the Salt Room. We werent quite sure what it was all about or what it would do but we were interested in trying it out. It was wonderfully serene. It was the ideal starter to our the massage and facial that awaited us. I cant attest to the health benefits of using it regularly, but it was the perfect prelude. My massage and facial were literally heavenly. There is just no other way to describe them. Good bye stress, tension, worry and inflexibility. Hello soft, supple, hydrated skin and new outlook. I really cant recommend this place enough. It is a true local gem. I will definitely be visiting them next time Im in town.

Upon arrival I was greeted with smiles and warm welcomes and the esthetic of the entire spa is absolutely stunning (including the bathrooms)Athena was my marvelous massage therapist. I called a month ago inquiring about L&O memberships and how the salt sessions work. I had the pleasure of speaking with Tommy, the owner and he took the time to inform me of the benefits of salt therapy and go more into the memberships offered.My husband has some respiratory issues since moving from humid Florida to dry Nevada so Tommy thought it might be a good idea for him to check out L&O.I personally haven’t had a massage here, but my husband and I experienced a pharmaceutical salt session and it was so relaxing that he ended up signing up for a membership! I feel like Im visiting friends whenever I come to Lapis & Oak! I enjoy seeing every single team member and the owners are the nicest people. Tommy is the best at what he does and I even convinced my husband, who normally refuses to get a massage from a male massage therapist, to give him a try. He told me it was the best massage he’s e ever had. I love the salt lounge, I visit a few times a week and it has not only helped me improve my lung capacity for my morning runs but has helped heal my small patch of eczema.

I took my sister here for her birthday and we both got a 50 minute custom facial. We both loved the experience and even though I live on the west side of town, I will gladly make the drive out here for my monthly facials. They have a membership so if youre like me and push off any me-time you have planned, a monthly membership would force you to take an hour every month for yourself. So happy I found this place!!

I had an amazing 80 minute massage with Tuan. He clearly has extensive body knowledge. I had been experiencing some tingling in my feet and he knew which areas to target to help relieve the discomfort. An overall very relaxing massage.

He is the first person to be able to straighten my husbands back in one session and relieve his pain from a series of prior sports injuries. Also the Spa has a wonderful boutique perfect for gifts. Transported from the moment I walked in—with kind customer service, relaxing music, and aromatherapy—all of it was great! I had a 50-min custom massage with Kim, who used multiple techniques to remove my knots. She also suggested exercises for me to do on my own to help with some of the muscle imbalances she found within my body. Overall, A+ experience!

Had an hour session with the owner, Tommy. He quickly assessed what I was hoping to achieve during the session and was very proficient in identifying some areas that needed special attention. He performed an hour of body work to relieve tension due to an injury/extensive training in the gym. He performed cupping, scraping, stretching along with deep tissue work. Definitely your guy if you are looking to REALLY work out the kinks. It was a cross of PT/massage/mobility/deep tissue. He does it all! Have a second appointment booked in two weeks. I also had a very relaxing massage with another therapist previously and it was lovely….Def recommend as they provide a nice range of services.

I signed a membership for six months. I made them aware that I forget my appointments please text me. They sent it to my email was not aware of my appointment I had two choices to give up my free visit for the month or a pay $120. I would never recommend this place there’s plenty of other places they don’t charge you fees if you forget an appointment. Soon as my contract is over I will never come back again

My wife set up an appointment for a massage, because for the last three to four months I had numbness and pain down my left arm, due to a pinch nerve in my upper back. After making several routine visits to my chiropractor, and still experiencing pain, I was open to the massage therapy. My appointment was made with Frank. After the first visit, I felt much better, but because my circumstances, he asked me to return for one more 90 minute session, and that would give him the time he needed to completely relieve me of the pain. Amazingly the very next day I woke up with zero pain. I couldnt believe it and neither could my doctors. Its been over a month that Ive that Ive been pain-free. I just went in to see Frank for the first time since then, just as a follow-up. Ill plan to continue to see him once a month.

Such an amazing place! Best massage Ive ever had! I think I had years of tension removed! After my deep tissue I went into a room to relax and soak my feet. They have beautiful copper tubs with Dead Sea salt I could feel the tension floating away my only problem was trying relaxing with my stuffy allergy nose😞 but it wasnt over I went into the salt room (icing on the cake!) Relaxed in on their zero gravity beds and fell asleep😴 When the time was up I woke up able to breath through my nose and I was feeling like a new women. I was able to go home and enjoy being a Zen Momma for once, which if you know me is the opposite of what I normally am.😂🤣 I recommend you not only go but take your, husband/wife, your Mama, even your neighbor 😁💆‍♀️🧘‍♀️

Beautiful Spa, They spared no expense on the equipment. Heated, gelled massage tables, and perfect atmosphere. The employees were extremely knowledgeable. The massage was awesome and if you have not been in a salt room you must go. The benefits are limitless. I highly recommend this spa. It rivals the best we have in Vegas including the Belagio and Venetion but with way better prices.

Is it possible to change ones entire demeanor and energy in a mere hour? I never thought so, but last evening I experienced just such an epiphany.My daughter treated me to a foot treatment. Mind you, this is not one of those $19 foot massage shops. This is a 5 star treatment in an upscale spa.First, the ambiance: 5th Avenue, New York and Union Square in San Francisco... are comparable. It is welcoming, warm, and ultra chic. We were warmly greeted and escorted in to an interesting room with the most unusual chairs I have ever experienced. We soaked until our feet were silky, then the treatment began.This was more than I could have anticipated. Every muscle; every fiber of my feet and lower legs was moved and manipulated into submission. I am living a different quality of existence today, because of yesterdays actions. I cannot sing the praises of Kim and Tommy loud enough.My next visit will include a full body massage and a salt room experience.I have found the Holy Grail.

Regrettably I have to caution individuals with injury from coming to Lapis and Oak because I ended up in the ER after a massage here.I received a comped massage from Tommy (the owner) after an issue with another massage here that left me in pain.The entire experience with Tommy was very uncomfortable for me, and down right scary. First off, I have a documented and diagnosed injury which he told me does not exist/was not right. He went even further to say he does not believe in doctors.What I thought was going to be a normal massage turned into cupping and chiropractic like adjustments. Neither of which I was told would be happening before they happened. The scariest thing was that Tommy did a cervical (neck) adjustment on me with a towel which involved yanking and cracking my neck. There was instantly a burst of pain in my neck after this and I was having a hard time moving it side to side. Tommy kept insisting that I was fixed and I agreed just so he wouldnt touch my neck any further.The next day my neck was in so much pain. It was like nothing I had ever experienced, and it made me so sick that I threw up. I ended up in the ER to make sure that the cervical adjustment didnt damage the blood vessels in my neck (which can cause a stroke) and thankfully it did not. I left with the diagnosis of a cervical (neck) sprain whereas my existing injury is in my shoulder not my neck.The neck strain was a new injury resulting from Tommy yanking on my neck. A neck strain is not caused easily and is often a result of trauma to the neck (look it up). Also, when I told the ER doctor what the owner had done they immediately were concerned and ordered me a CT scan - especially bc I said he was NOT a licensed chiropractor. Similarly, if you research where the owner received his degree in massage you will find that the school no longer exists/went out of business.Heres my thoughts:1. Adjustments especially a cervical adjustment should not be performed by someone who isnt a licensed chiropractor. They should also not be performed without warning and consent. You can literally kill someone2. To say you dont believe in doctors is actually insane. Doctors have 8-10+ years or formal training plus experience. You know how much training a masseuse has? 3-12 months of formal training from what Ive seen3. If someone tells you they have a diagnosed injury you should respect that and be cognizant of it during the session. What you know from one look at me does not discount all the imaging and dr visits Ive had done to identify my injury (and that goes for other individuals as well)Overall, I am shocked that this place has only a few reviews less than 5 stars. I have been getting massages since 2015 and I have never had an injury as a result until my visit to Lapis and Oak. This experience has ruined massages for me forever. Visit at your own risk.FYI - the owner (and Misty who is his wife?) never acknowledged or said sorry for what theyve done and will likely never take responsibility (shocker). I would really avoid this place at all costs - especially seeing how the owner has responded to my similar Yelp review. I wrote this review solely as a warning to others as I do not want anyone to have the experience I did.

Tommy (the owner) is the best massage therapist I have ever worked with. He is a profound surgeon; I could not be anymore literal in this point. He has immense strength and an incredible intuition for human musculature. If you are an athlete, injured or out-of-shape and need to be transformed you can do no better than this man. I say this after having worked with some very fine and accurate body workers in other states and over the years; still: Tommy is the best!

OMG Kim is my new best friend. Working remotely and being in front of the computer all day is wreaking havoc on my back, shoulders, and neck. This was only my first visit but I already feel so much better. She taught me a few stretches to do, and made some suggestions to help me correct my posture. I signed up for the monthly membership and I will be going back in two weeks. Do yourself a favor and book NOW if you are in any kind of muscle pain. This isnt your mothers massage; this is bodywork. Kim told me they also work with a lot of covid long-haulers who experience pain after having covid (she recommended Tommy for those people.) Im so looking forward to my next visit. The rest of the staff that I met were super helpful and nice, too. Excited to try the salt room next time!

Ive had chronic lower back pain for over 3 months. Ive had massages, acupuncture, and seen the chiropractor. All treatments went well but were temporarily. Or just felt good at the time. After my treatment with Mr. Maher, I felt like I was walking on clouds and had a bounce to my step. It was a painful 50 mins but well worth it in the end. I highly recommend anyone who has any chronic issue to put down the pills and go and see the team at Lapis and Oak Spa. 🤙🏼

I received a $300 gift certificate over a year ago that I have periodically tried to use. I tried to book a facial about a year ago and then received a call stating that the person I was trying to schedule with just rented a space there so I couldn’t go to her. I was promised a call back after the first of the year when they had someone that I could schedule with and never heard anything. I recently called again and was told they have had so much turnover she wasn’t surprised I never heard anything. She said that she’d have to have someone call me back that knew something and once again I didn’t hear back. It’s very disappointing that I received such a great gift that I have not been able to use.
