Only went once because after the grand finale they were enforcing dress code. Most passerbys were now allowed entrance due to the dress code. We were told it was business casual. What? For a night club in Irving? I understand they are marketing this as a Vegas style nightclub, but this isnt Vegas. The one time we went the clientele was definitely on the older side and no one was dancing. DJ wasnt the best. The inside looks nice, but there is basically no seating unless you pay several hundred dollars for the VIP bottle service. This is way too much for a suburban retail development, when you already have to pass a gate to gain entrance into Big Beat itself, and then another bouncer to get to this place. My advice: make this place more friendly to the young clientele you presumably want to attract. Drop the dress code, at least make it way more casual than business casual. Make it more inviting by having maybe one bouncer on the inside, not one standing guard like this place is busting at the seams. Its not and wont be until you make it more inviting.

They have the best mix of different decades of music and they keep the liquor on ice slabs and have great service. There is a dance floor, a lot of bar seating, and a huge patio with fire pits views and couches on the second floor that is almost as big as the inside. This is for fun people with priorities no matter your age but I saw probably (mid 20s to 50s) who like great music and company. Id rate it higher than the nice uptown bars in dallas or chill bars in fort worth because its so much more relaxing to be in Las Colinas.

Keep the Dress Code, keep the classy atmosphere, keep the invite for the Older customers(we have $$$) and wont just hang around and stare into our phones. We will bring our 40+ friends. Do make tables and chairs less costly, especially to those spending on drinks. Less techno, more retro. Dump the Rap.Thank You.

Nice spot but the DJ is garbage! It’s like the DJ will look at the crowd and say hmmmmm what can I play to get them to sit down.
