Will not be back!!! Paid for a 60 min massage that may have lasted 48 min. I told the lady at the front and she said the first 10 min is consultation and 50 min of hands on. I’ve gotten many massages and nobody does that AND my massage was over 6 min before top of the hour!! The massage therapist never once tried to work out any knots either just kept pushing on my back. That’s NOT a massage. Waste of money!!

Today was my first day to come to Massage Envy. I was quite desperate for relief from extreme muscle tension in my neck and shoulders. From the very beginning, I was greeted with exceptional customer service by Holly who checked me in, asked me all the questions, and actually listened to what I was going through ( a very rough night previously with a migraine from the muscle tension.) Dominic did a great job listening as well, took his time and gave me an excellent massage that gave me the relief I needed.P.S Holly has a heart of gold! So thankful I found them! I will definitely be back.

Great location with excellent customer service. The manager, Holly and assistant manager, Sarahi, do an excellent job of making sure service is first priority and treating you like you matter! Need a great massage, Vicki or Roxana for the win! Great facial is what you need, Zuleima fits the bill. Great front desk service, look to Jasmine and Lexci. This is a team that will keep you satisfied with your membership and help to solve any issues along the way.

I have been multiple times, the atmosphere is lovely and the staff is nice. Mia is my favorite masseuse, she has 15 years experience and I felt I could tell by the care she put into my placement, reviewing & explaining my consented areas and customer service. She makes sure youre comfortable and adjusts quickly when told too firm/soft. Pricing makes it difficult to come in regularly and membership is a year contract with scary reviews so I cant commit.

Ive been to alot of massage parlors and found that massage envy was the best of the best. Unfortunately, my experience at the Irving location was not so great. I paid for a 90 min massage(medium strength) with the exfoliating foot massage. My appointment was for 11:30am. I was brought into a room at 11:55, and was told to change and waited another 10 minutes in the massage room just to be talked to the whole time and just to have only my shoulders worked on, well the right side of my shoulder was worked on for almost an hour, and my left shoulder for only 5 to 6 minutes and my feet just had a warm towel placed and some scrub and then wiped off and that was it. I literally did not get a massage. But I paid anyway and still tipped the guy. But I will not be visiting that massage envy anymore.

First of all , massage therapist Rachel did 50 min instead of 60. I had a feeling that she never did full body massage before. She was kind of scared to touch my low back and hips, knees . Also medium pressure felt like nothing. Besides that this place looks nice and probably has some good therapists. But I don’t want to take a risk and try it again and pay $130 for just putting oil on my skin .

The worst mistake I could’ve made is getting a membership with massage envy. Not only do they make it virtually impossible to cancel your membership, they’ll make it extremely difficult to use your credits. I had one last credit I needed to use— the massage therapist had to cancel due to a health issue, which isn’t a problem at all. However I had a few days left to use that credit with no availability. I tried to schedule with the massage envy near me, but was told I needed to call the location where I first created my membership in order to get an extension to use the last credit. After getting a 2 week extension, I scheduled a facial (no massages available, but a facial was available). I went for the facial today and was told my credit expired upon checkout. The staff member saw the notes that my credit should’ve been extended but they didn’t actually apply the change in the system. I had to call the location and wait to speak to someone who was able to do this. While it got resolved, this is just one example of the horrible experience I’ve had. Trust me and don’t make the same mistake that I did.

Very frustrating. Prior to booking appointment, I verified the introductory rate of $83 since I was new to the location. Following session, the manager (Kristin) insisted I pay the higher rate of $143 since I had been to a Massage Envy in Austin 9 months earlier. She insisted I purchase an annual membership to get the rate I was offered when I booked. She blamed everything on “corporate” and refused to honor rate. I will NEVER return to a Massage Envy based on this encounter and Kristin’s poor customer service.

I find it hard to get appointments with the better masseuses here. Even though its the closest location to me, I drive further to other locations. I dont know if the franchise owner is there in person often. As a business owner I know how hard it is to get good people but I think more attention needs to be paid to getting good people.

My name is Monique Thornton and several years ago against my better judgment I purchased a Massage Envy membership. I’ve attempted to cancel the membership subscription and was given the runaround for the last 3 years. I’ve was charged over $3,000 in unused massages fraudulently and their business continues to charge my card for a membership I’m no longer interested in maintaining. I’ve cancelled the membership over the phone, in person and by email in written form and proceeded to also file a fraudulent complaint with my banking institution. I formally filed a complaint for fraudulent business practices against this branch at this time. I would not recommend this branch to anyone.

My first time visit in this location ... came inside, none of the 3 customer service staff DID NOT GREET they just looked at each other..., I acknowledge first and none either respond welcome to Massage Envy They needed more customer service training!!! Be aware of the Las Colinas location bad business practices. Worst customer service at their desk. If you cancel an appointment within the same day no matter if you are cancelling because you are ill even when calling 5 hours in advance, this location will charge you the full credit. Other locations will not charge you the credit if you cancel 3 hours prior to the appointment. The membership appointment cancellation policy from Massage Envy website indicates that you may cancel your appointment without charge up to 24 hours prior to your appointment, and same day cancellations will be charged 50% of the scheduled service price. The Massage Envy Las Colinas location charges the full price/full credit on same day cancellations. Make sure you keep a good track of your appointments and your credits. I do not trust this location. Do not recommend this location, the people at the desk are rude and they will not offer any help at all. The persons at the desk will enforce their 24 hour cancellation policy, but they do not apply the same day cancellation charge of 50% so they will charge you the full price/full credit. The Massage Envy Coppell location is a better choice in their business practices.

Location didnt want me to give me any money back after Ive been a loyal customer for 3 to 4 years and I had to cancel my membership due to a new job that requires lots of travel. They didnt want me to transfer more than 2 massages to friends when I have 60 days to use 14 of them I paid full price for. I never complained when about anyone that got a bit too friendly about their massages there but so be it. Watch who you get massaged by. Dont sign up with them for the long run, not worth it. I thought Id get more respect after how long Ive been with them.

The therapists at this location are wonderful and lovely. However the front staff and managers provide an Absolutely Horrible Customer Service!Examples:1. I have been trying to cancel my service since Oct of 2018 they never cancelled until June of 2019. I called them to cancel several times, I walked and asked for cancellation, signed the paper work and even then they didnt cancel when I had asked. I had to continuously hunt down the managers or assistant managers and then finally they cancelled my service.2. They give you 60 days to use up all your credits after cancellation but makes it so hard to get the therapist you want a the time that works best for your schedule. One of the girls at the front desk told me she would be happy to move out my credit a week or 2 so that I can get the therapist I want because they cancelled on me several time due to sickness . But when I called back to schedule my appointment, the Manager said I am the Boss and I am telling you that I cannot move out your credit so rude and unprofessional.Again - the place has qualified therapists probably the ONLY reason I stuck with them for so long. But they provide you the WORST customer service. I wish I had never subscribed to their plan.

Worst customer service ever! First the massages last 15-20 minutes less than what you pay for, I cancelled my membership because of this and because I have a baby and it is difficult to find time for a massage, and I was told by the phone and by email I had until 60 days after they receive my cancelation to use my remaining credits, I had to send the email twice because they never acknowledge they had received it and processed the cancelation, they acknowledge they received on the 17 I called them to be sure the time limit I had to use my credits they told me to the end of may! And now i just realized while trying to use the remaining credit they deleted my credits already so basically stealing money from customers… money I had already paid and they just stole it like that.

I have to say this is my favorite part of my days off, coming for a massage after working for long hours all week. All they offer is amaizing, since the moment they greet you at the door you experience a professional and friendly service.After coming here for a few months, I can say all the massage I been getting touch all my pressure points and made me feel great after worth. I have been a Massage Envy member for over 15 years and have been going to the Las Colinas location for 7 years. I have always had an amazing experience. The girls at the front desk are very friendly and now its like going to see family when I visit. I receive massages and facials on a regular basis and have never had a bad experience. My regular massage therapist is Robin whom always customizes massages to my specific problems and Sophie does wonderful facials every time! If these ladies are booked you will still receive fabulous service from the other therapists as I have received massages from nearly everyone there at this point and although each will have their own technique, none of them are bad. If youre looking to become a member, this location is the place to do it!

Jesse is one of the best therapists at this location. Ive been a Massage Envy customer at two locations for over 7 years. He is always my first choice! His technique is versatile and you will be very comfortable with him. Hes good at both deep tissue and massages with light pressure if you just want to relax. I highly recommend him. I only rate the good, consistent therapists. They have a lot of good therapists but in my opinion, Jesse is consistent!

I am not an online complainer, but when you have cancelled your account and their only answer after charging you for 4 more months is well we didnt get the email. You did get the phone call, you did get the conversation at the desk two times. And corporate did get my complaint about the need to use all of my banked hours in 60 days despite the fact that I paid for them. There was no care taken for me as a client, and I am sad to say that you have broken any trust. The best massage therapist I have ever had works at this location but the clinics need to be money driven instead of customer service driven is more than I can over look. Be careful about the contracts, and be sure that you are okay with poor service. Please dont write your canned thank you for your feedback response. Just reverse the charges for the last four month, deal with the BBB complaint, and make it right.

Here’s the thing, my membership for a year was absolutely wonderful and the massage therapists at this location were great. However, the reason I am giving this specific location one star is due to how they handled my cancellation request for my membership.After a year, I had to relocate and decided to cut costs by canceling my membership. I filled out all the paperwork and everything was set, so I assumed that was all I needed. Low and behold a few months later, I noticed my credit card had been charged not once, but THREE times since I cancelled. I immediately called this location to complain and they found my cancellation form and apologized and reversed all charges. Again, I thought this was the last I had heard in regards to this issue.Another month passed by, I’m still being charged. Again, I called to remind them I cancelled and then to be on the safe side, I called my credit card company telling them I do not authorize these charges and explained the situation which ended up in me having to change my credit card to avoid further billing.Today I just received a text saying there was a billing issue with my account which absolutely blew my mind they’re still trying to charge me after all this trouble I’ve been through with them! I called them immediately just now to remind them that I cancelled and I also informed them that I changed my credit card info because I knew they’d tried to charge me again (which they did). Whoever they had on the phone rudely told me, that if that’s the case, eventually a collections agency (debt collectors) were going to contact me. I told this employee that, that is unecesarry because I cancelled over 5 months ago and i demanded they take me off this list so I’m not receiving texts from them saying they are trying to still charge me and so they aren’t sending debt collectors my way.She had the manager on hand talk to me and assure me that they found my cancellation form and they will take me off the list. But quite frankly I’m still worried If this is going to go to the debt collectors like the employee in the phone threatened me with. I can’t believe I’ve been going through this for months, and I have the proof that I cancelled but they’re still going on with this.Long story short, do not get a membership with this location. My experience since cancelling as been awful and I don’t wish this on anyone!——Update in response to the reply below:I have NO interest in emailing you all. I don’t feel you are sorry at all for my experience as you all have sneakily charged my credit card numerous times since I cancelled my membership and haven’t even offered to remedy this situation. You all are extremely dishonest!—-I would also like to add that I am formally filing a complaint with the FTC because of these dishonest practices of charging customers for memberships they have cancelled. I highly recommend everyone who has dealt with a similar matter to file a complaint with the FTC as well.

The manager Holly is extrememly rude and there is Literally only one person there worth a quality massage and good luck getting booked with her. I booked my last appoinmtment with 2 months out to get my masseuse as well and now being charged full price for not being a member when being able to receive the massage. This is also after being canceled and over charged by them.

Massages are fine, but their membership is a ripoff. I have 9 unused massages that I paid for, and they will not let me use those unless I pay for more massages. They say its a membership, but in my mind I paid for a service, and now they are not willing to give me what I paid for. At $50 per massage, I have paid $450 for absolutely nothing. I will not be going back.

When I tell you that facial was so freaking good with the facial the shoulder and neck massage by the end of it I decided that if I dont do anything else Im gonna keep my membership just to come back for this facial every month.. I have been a customer for this location for over 4years now and had wonderful experience every time until today. The sales representative named Sabrina called me and starting raising her voice that I didnt call them to cancel the 2pm appointment. I tried to explain to her that I had asked for tomorrows appointment over phone and not today so they might have booked is accidentally. Instead of apologizing she started blame game saying we have sent you a confirmation email and how can I say it is for tomorrow? I told just coz they send an email doesnt mean we check it to respond back and also tried to explain how can I cancel an appointment that I am not even aware of. She was outright rude, loud and not ready to listen. She just hung up on me. This is how you treat your loyal customers Awesome. Please go back and check the customer phone recordings.

I’ve been going to another location for over a year now and just recently moved closer to this one. Everyone seems very nice, whole staff professional for the most part and I was in and out. Went in for a chemical peel. Ive had it done before at the other location. I had the winter break in mind and figured it was a good time while I was home to peel. My issue is that although the young lady who did my chemical peel was nice she did not do what I wanted or expected. She did a test on my hand as I explained my skin issues and concerns and again told her I had done this before. On my hand and finally when she got started on my face after 4 layers I kept telling her I barely felt anything like I had before. Once she was done she proceeded to tell me she had decided since it was HER first time seeing me she had only done the lowest level and most sensitive peel available so I probably wouldn’t peel much and I can come back in 2 weeks for a stronger one. The problem with that, is that I won’t be on break in 2 weeks and she should have explained that beforehand. The whole point of a peel is to peel. She basically wasted my time and money. Then she walked me out and handed me my kit without explaining how to use it and put a random product up on the counter she briefly mentioned while in the back, but didn’t really explain anything and walked off. I thought about renewing my membership, but I probably won’t with this being the closest location to me.

Ive seen other people, but Rob is basically an angel. The front desk staff is so amazing and patient with me when I come late (sorry guys!) and when I leave groggy yet content. But Rob is the reason I keep coming. Weve probably exchanged 10 words in all the months that Ive been seeing him which is my favorite thing about him! He NEVER talks during my massage (unless its important) and just lets me relax and enjoy the music. Hes also extremely skilled and knows exactly when to apply different levels of pressure. Ive been on that table on my happiest of days, and Ive definitely been on that table and shed a tear or two for personal-unrelated reasons, but he just patiently helps me escape my day to day stresses and I always leave feeling like a new woman. Also, I love the membership options and how easy the staff makes everything. The entire staff is always kind and joyful. You guys bring me so much happiness! Thank you!

I tried to call to cancel my appointment 3 times before the 3 hr cancellation period with no answer. When I finally got in touch with a staff member, her name was Deana, she said I would be charged because I did not call by 5pm; it was 5:10.I went back and forth with them about the times and ended up cancelling all my appointments for the week. I will drive to south lake now to have a massage rather than deal with that location.I little empathy and kindness I dont think would kill them. Obviously their massages are not very tranquil there.

I have been coming here for a couple of months now, the front desk people are always very nice and professional. The messages are amazing, they are honestly the best part of my month! Trey does a fantastic job! He uses great pressure, he always asks to make sure im good with the pressure, music, lights, and even the heater on the bed. If you are thinking about who to see I highly recommend Trey. Believe me you will not regret it!

The reason this rating is so low is due to a negative encounter with the receptionist Jacob when leaving. I sent my friend to Massage Envy for the first time, specifically to get a massage from Angela (one of the best therapist there) and to relax. The problem arrised when Jacob the receptionist at the front desk didnt know how to do his job and took his frustrations out on the client. He was very rude, impatient and lacked the customer service skills to make clients feel as if they would want to return. First in order to reserve an appointment there must be a card on file for which I provided. The staff had been advised ahead of time to charge the service to my card upon completion. I wanted his experience to be seemless. Everyone else at the front desk was aware but for some reason Jacob insisted on asking my friend to pay for the service, argued with that there wasnt a card on file, wanted to charge him the membership price and aggressively insisted on signing him up for a membership. The money wasnt an issue however he argued with him at the front desk and pretty much ruined the experience. The others receptionist had too look into the system to locate the information. Im glad they where there. Why would anyone especially a first time customer want to sign up for a membership when you leave the establishment with more stress than you had before you arrived. My suggestion would be to get better front desk staff (definitely not someone like Jacob) who is polite, thorough and considerate.

Not a happy camper right now. No one told me that after I made my 12 monthly payments that I had to pay $65 monthly. I have 9 visits remaining out of my 12 and I was told that if I canceled my membership I have 60 days to use the remaining visits or I lose them. I also inquired about gifting the visit to someone and I was told that there is a $10 fee and I could only gift to one person once a month. They continued to tell me that they can not give me my $65 back because it part of the agreement and that they try to advise all of there client of this. That is straight BS, if that was the case why didnt someone tell me that when I came in for my visit about 2 1/2 weeks ago. Also my membership was purchased in September of 2016 and you mean to tell me no one thought to tell me my options. Again that is BS. I want my $65 back. Las Colinas location.Here we are 3 month later and I still havent heard a word from the person who posted the comment. A complaint has been filed with the OAG of Texas.

They are scammed my girlfriend. She would take me for a couples massage a couple times a month because she had many massages racked up and now they are saying they cant honor that due to new management. Well why wasnt she informed that she canttransfer me massages a few times a month? They are already paid in FULL. Shes out hundreds of dollars for this. Sad she gets treated this way after being a loyal customer for 4 years. Dont sign up unless policies change and you dont want to he notified about it. We used to love this place. We have been on and off members for the last few years and have really taken advantage of those relaxing moments getting a massage from all the different staffers. Excellent service just hit and miss on finding the right pressure you like. But nonetheless a great massage will be delivered.

The few times that I went there was ok. The messages didn’t work for what I needed them and the last message that I got ended signing up for a membership. I know crazy, benefit of the doubt thinking (maybe it was just the masseuse). I haven’t used the benefits of the membership and wanted to cancel. I sent the confirmation email to cancel it and I still got charged. I had my boyfriend and myself signed up and I was paying for it. They purposely set me up. Set me up to still get money from me. My email was conveniently lost in their system and used the excuse of, since I didn’t specify to cancel my boyfriends I still got charge for it. Very disappointed in management because there was miscommunication on both ends, but all they cared about was ripping people off. Beware, don’t sign up for memberships with message envy, they are snakes in the grass.

I have some real issues with migraines & back pain. I see Trey twice a month for deep tissue therapy and it has literally changed my life for the better. I have fewer headaches and better mobility. Trey is so professional and really makes me feel at ease. The staff is always so friendly and helpful. I highly recommend Massage Envy and it’s staff.

Awful. Harassing me via text about billing issues when nothing with my credit card or billing has changed. Never once called. Text appeared to be a scam. In addition to continuing to charge my credit card EVERY month during covid when the business was not legally allowed to operate. Nothing was done when I called to ask a year ago why I was still being charged monthly when the business was closed. Completely unacceptable. Completely unprofessional. Someone needs to return my call ASAP. Not via automated text, but an actual phone call.

A very professional, upscale experience for a non spa like price. I love the heated tables and hot towels. Über clean and does not skimp on the small things and details. Best therapists in town, who have been there for several years. Mia is particularly good. Low staff turnover is definitely a good indication that its a good place to work. Massage was great but the check out process was absolutely pathetic. They couldnt find out how to transfer a credit from one account to another. Made up excuses saying they got a new system a few weeks ago and our profile couldnt be found. The employees were bickering at each other right in front of us the customer which is truly unprofessional especially in a place that people go to relax and calm. I do not understand how a franchise owner can have someone like her working for them and them not being aware of how she disrespectful she is and her lack of customer service.As a member since September 17 she has ruin any type of renewal ever with this company no matter where it is in the world. Have had many hot stone massages in my life but this was by far the worst! If I could give less than a one star I would! Instead of telling me that the girl that does hot stone was not going to be able to do me, the owner made another girl do me (as it came out later) who had NO idea how to do hot stone massages. When I complained that she didnt do stone placement down my back, feet, hands, the owner told me it was my fault because I didnt instruct her how to do the massage. I told him that I was not going to a school and he was not charging school prices so I should not have to teach classes, besides the fact that the picture on the brochure and at the front desk show hot stones down the spine. Despite the fact that he was jeopardizing the loss of 6 return clients (girls night out) he insisted on charging me full price, needless to say that didnt happen because I refuse to pay it (even his staff was insisting they would not pay full pay because they agreed I fight get what I paid for).

Staff is very pleasant however I got stuck in traffic and called saying I would be late. The lady said thats ok just get you when you. She failed to explain that the 33 minutes I was late would come out my hour session. They asked me what areas I wanted focused on. That was completely ignored. I felt like i paid $55 just so the can rub oil on my body when i specifically asked for deep tissue. At the end of my session which was 27 minutes even though i paid for a whole hour, they asked me how it was. I express my dissatisfaction and they encouraged me to try thier best deep tissue therapist. The 2nd time was same thing. 1 whole hour of someone rubbing lotion on my body. They asked if I wanted to reschedule I said no thanks.

I used the massage therapist Tera at this location. I had used her for almost two years and I hadnt seen here in months. I received a massage over 8 weeks ago she was just to rough on me and stuck her elbow in my left trap muscle and I have suffered serve nerve damage as a result havent been the same since that massage its so bad that the spasms are crippling she completely shut off my left trap went to a applied kinesiologist. I would have pains that would travel down my spine and my arm would just go numb out of the blue. I am a personal trainer so my job is very demanding on my body and to not be able to workout let alone do my job from this massage is ridiculous, so I call to complain and the manager gets immediately defensive and she says havent you used Tera before I was like yes but this time she hurt me and she was like what did I want her to do I kindly asked her to cancel my membership just had this snark attitude it was unbelievable. I would not recommend this place or Tera they are just plain rude and inconsiderate in this place. I will never be the same spent hundreds of dollars on chiropractors and its just not gotten any better.

I think its all pure luck if you make an appointment and you done get a call for conciliation, error, or some deviation of sort. It took 2 days to get their website to allow me to schedule an appointment, sent a text for confirmation a day before, the hours before call to cancel. its 2021 get your scheduling together. Ill not beg you to take my money there are other places who can schedule an appointment without the headache.

The best massage therapist quit. Apparently this place is under new management. I asked for someone who does deep pressure and trigger point. I got some lady who rubbed watery lotion on me and touched my face with her wet stinky hands that smelled like what she might have had for lunch.

Went to get a message and was scheduled with Daniel. When I got there and my masseuse came to get me I noticed that it was a female and I indicated that I was supposed to get Daniel so she went to the front desk to talk to them. Apparently they changed my masseuse and didn’t inform me and to make a long story short I ended up leaving there with no massage and very disappointed. I drove a very long way to use this specific massage envy because of the rating but I apparently the ratings are start to go down along with the service.

Stay away from this location. The mgmt is horrid, specifically a lady named Serina (sp). Been a member over 15 years and she is extremely disrespectful and attempts to project that onto the client to distract and manipulate. So much more to my individual circumstance but I would go to another Massgae Envy or another company if possible. #unfortunate #disappointed
