Master Massage and Spa

We had our first massage here a couple of weeks ago and it was an exellent couples massage. We asked for a relaxing massage and they nailed it. The owner who is one of the therapists and the other therapist that did our massage was very friendly, nice and professional. It is a very nice space, tastefully decorated, and calm ambiance throughout beginning when you walk in the door. We are here again today for a repeat!

This was my 4the time receiving a massage from Lucy and as ALWAYS she did an exceptional and relaxing massage. Her technique and her ability to make your body feel at ease is incredible. I also would say that the atmosphere at Master Massage and Spa is worth booking with them. I highly recommend. Do you want a relaxing and deep tissue massage?

My hubby and I just had massages done here. Lucy was my therapist and Mina(?) his. Both did an amazing job and were both grateful for the job well done. I highly recommend this place if you need a great massage. Next time were in Knoxville, I will make a return visit! Thanks ladies!!

I have been getting massages for years and Lucy by far gives the best massages I’ve ever had! I highly recommend her business. Absolutely amazing, I will never go anywhere else!

I was so excited to try this place based off the amazing reviews but after my 90 minute “deep tissue” massage, I am not sure how this place has received so many good reviews. This had to be one, if not the worst massage I’ve ever had. I’ve had better massages sitting in the massage chairs at the nail salon. The massage was definitely not deep tissue and for the majority of the massage, all she did was rub up and down using her forearms gently, never targeting any specific areas with her actual hands. On top of that, the masseuse left the room multiple times to greet customers at the front door, leaving the room door open which made me feel pretty uncomfortable as anyone who walked by could see in the room. Maybe it was an off day, I don’t know but I will not be coming back.

The massage was exactly what I needed.Ivy was amazing in working on not only the areas that I expressed a need, but some of the areas that were contributing to the problem!I will absolutely be going back!

Master Massage is a truly professional establishment. The atmosphere is luxurious and you really feel pampered. I cant imagine anybody would provide anything BUT a five-star review! I would encourage you to give them a try!

I’ve been to a lot of places for massages & this is by far my favorite. Equal parts relaxing & productive on getting the tension out. Will definitely be returning!

Horrible massage, 0 privacy, 0 relaxation, 0 satisfactionMy husband and I were here for a couples massage and it was the worst experience we’ve ever had or heard about. Not 1 thing in the 1 hour that we spent here went right:1) the face hole of the bed was stinky. When I told her she replaced it but the new one was also stinky making it unpleasant and gave me a headache right away2) the 2 masseuses kept talking to each other non stop during the entire session making it impossible for us tune out and relax3) the lights were kept bright so it was really hard to switch off mentally4) my masseuse had the phone with her & it kept ringing loudly so she kept taking phone calls in the middle of my massage - this happened 2-3 times5) they had no one at the front desk so if anyone came into the parlour my masseuse would go out to attend the person leaving my massage midway - this happened 4-5 times6) they kept the door of our room open giving 0 regards for our privacy7) when she left to attend at the front desk she had just started my right back. When she came back she started some other area so I reminded her where she left off. She did not understand that at all and started giving me intense massage on my right shoulder which was not at all needed & just made me very uncomfortable. I told her I’m done there multiple times but she did not pay attention & kept doing it8) because of multiple breaks & interruptions in our massage, she told me she will give an extra 5 mins, but guess what - my massage got over before the 60 mins timer was upClearly this massage Parlour has 0 inclination towards delivering a pleasant (not even exceptional) customer experience. I’d suggest not to go here at all, it’s a complete waste of money and time & creates an aversion to other massage Parlours too.

They offer myofascial massage which she had no idea what it is. Dont offer things you dont know how to do...massage was barely ok but not deep tissue or myofascial work. Busy on phone when I left and didnt thank me even though I tipped WAY beyond what that massage was worth. Will not be coming back.

I got the 4 hand massage it was relaxing both massage therapist was great but Mary was awesome she used the right amount of pressure and relaxation I would definitely book again with her

Had a wonderful couples massage here at Master Massage and Spa! We had Lucy and Jessica and they were so accommodating! What was an hour massage felt like an hour and a half! Such a great place if you’re looking to relax after a long hard day!!

Clean and classy spa. Owners are literally hands-on and very good. Book with Jennifer or Lucy. They are two of the best in Knoxville. Jennifer has had a spa in Maryville for 10 years, Pure Massage. So book at either with confidence.
