The music was good and they had music videos on TVs by the bar. There are two bars that I saw which is nice. The size was good. Went to a drag show and there was plenty of room for the performances and onlookers. The bar tender was SO nice and the drinks were very good. Atmosphere was great. Overall a WONDERFUL experience. I went during September 2023. Had a blast and Im from Houston Texas. So I have a lot of reference with gay bars. Loved it and will be back 100%!!

Great environment. Everyone is friendly. The music is good. The drinks are good. The prices are great. 10-10 would recommend!!

Great club for Lafayettes only LGBTQ+ bar. Drinks are pricey, but over all, a great time.

What a fun place! We were there for my Bachelorette party this weekend and had a wonderful time! The show was amazing and music was great!!

My friends and I always have so much fun here!! Donovan (i think thats his name!) was so amazing and sweet!!! the DJ is always FIRE on weekends!!! also straight men please do not come here looking for women thanks!

I had the best night of my life at this place. Went to all the bars on the strip and landed up in bolt. Tbh it’s the best of all. The DJ was AMAZING and the vibes were great. Everyone was dancing and having fun with no care in the world. There was one point were some people in one corner were doing a flat out dirty dancing routine and some other people having a dance off in the other corner. Best bar hands down

Amazing staff...always making sure that all patrons are having fun . The bar staff responds to each and every need of their customers... Never leaving anyone unattended to. The patio experience is definitely a new... Fresh atmosphere that was needed in Lafayette. I enjoyed every minute of my time there and will definitely recommend it to all of my friends....that are looking for something fresh and new. BOLT. .is the hot place to be. Cant wait to make more memories there.

I go here for the drag shows which are always awesome. It is a nice size club with a large patio out back for smokers or just hanging out away from the music. The bar does open up to the patio so you dont need to go inside to refresh your drink. Courteous staff and plenty of TVs that show videos or visualizations to go along with the music. They do have food, burgers and quesadillas, but Ive never tried. The food looked good tho.

Fun and festive environment for all to enjoy. Great specials in cocktails and beers. Wonderful selection of music, after 8pm of course. Patio section is spacious and discreet with a connection to the bar. Drag shows on sundays *and first Friday of the month* are quite entertaining.Enjoyable experience overall for a group of friends.

Always a great time at Bolt! Clean establishment, friendly staff with great service. Drinks and food are always good and served consistently. I highly recommend this place if you want a fun and safe environment to be yourself!

The gentlemen working behind the bar are amazing! So friendly and never miss a beat, even when things are very busy. The drag shows are the best around, you will not be disappointed!

Fantastic bar with a fun atmosphere and plenty of events going on. The bar staff is always attentive and friendly. I recommend Going during one of the drag shows. Its a great time. I recommend Bolt completely.

Chill atmosphere. Drinks are reasonably priced. If you need a place to escape the music theres a very big and chill patio space outside. First time going but wont be the last

Great atmosphere! Drag show was really good! Valet parking would of been nice though.

I was extremely disappointed in this bar. Made a friend in the area and gave it a shot on a layover and when we walked in there werent but two bartenders and a few people on the patio. I walked up to the bar and wasnt greeted but asked What do you want?. Ordered and was shocked at the fact the person used a jigger and couldnt count or at least use a pourer on the bottle. Our drinks were pretty expensive and the bartenders were cold as ice.Come to find out from the friend I had made that brought me there, they werent both bartenders. One of them was in fact the owner and the other was his significant other. Instead of being hospitable to their patrons, or trying to engage someone they recognized was not from the area, they were pretty pre-occupied behind the bar kissing. We subsequently left within 5 minutes after arriving.Ironically saw the pair out later that evening and still received a cold shoulder. Definitely have no intention of visiting this bar ever again. Damn shame the community doesnt have any other options than this establishment in LFT.Update: I gave this bar a second chance as I usually do after a while and have to say I am pleasantly surprised. The bartender was very kind and even though the patrons are a different story all together I am very impressed with how much this experience differed from my previous one.If youre in the area its worth a shot is my final word on this establishment. Have a backup just in case though. But I think youll have a great time with whomever you bring.

Awesome show the night I went! The staff is very attentive and they have far better food than most Louisiana bars Ive been to.

Gross bathrooms but its patrons are mostly gay men so what ya expect! Staff and owner arent friendly to new comers. Ill dance at home
