We went for a couples massage and we absolutely loved it. It was a new experience for us. I got the aromatherapy massage and Jason got the deep tissue massage. I think I dozed off a few times. I smell like sweet mint 😋 the atmosphere is so relaxing right when we walked in I knew this was the one. Jason is a truck driver and initially this is why we came and he said he got tons of relief. For us first time people going I recommend you take it all off seriously take off the watch, earrings, watch, and socks. Overall we had a great time and I highly recommend the couples massage.

Upon my arrival at Lux Spa, I was greeted with enthusiasm and warmth. My massage was filled with intentionality and very comfortable. I thoroughly appreciated the education Monica (owner) gave me about the other services and her overall journey in family health and wellness. Im looking forward to booking again sooner than later. I’ve been going to this spa since the first week we moved to Lafayette from Texas. The service here is unparalleled. I’ve never had a bad massage here and each of their providers have their own unique specialty and touch (pun intended). The ladies up front are also super friendly and warm. You’ll feel right at home when you first walk in.

3rd times a charm. My first time here I had a couples massage which I don’t remember many details but the massage was great since it had been several years since I last had one. 2nd time was ok. Massage was great but the masseuse didn’t come into my from until 8 minutes after my scheduled time. The bed was cold. He also spent 2-3 minutes prepping for my session and ended it 10 minutes early while sitting and talking to me for 4 of those minutes. I wasn’t prepared to pay for a 60 minute massage only to have it shortened by appx. 20 minutes. Also, my feet were untouched for a full body massage. Maybe that’s what I get for booking the last session of the day. 3rd time was a charm today. I scheduled an appointment at opening. I think the masseuse’s name was Kara. She did a great job, was on time and worked on my horrible back for the full 90 minutes. Sadly, she had to work on my 2 week old pedicured feet. I didn’t think it was included since the last guy didn’t touch my feet at all. I had a fresh pedi at that time thinking that it was included. Anyway, the massages are great, the ambiance is really nice. I just hope that everyone will receive exactly what they pay for, no matter the time of the day.

Courtney was an amazing massage therapist. I went in pain and tight all over, I left walking on cloud 9. Relaxed, loose & pain free.

My boyfriend booked us the couples massage with the strawberries and champagne. The massage was amazing and our experience was great. They were very friendly and made it a very relaxing experience for us. 10/10 recommend

I love my first appointment here. I enjoyed my spa day BUT my needs wasn’t met as ask. I ask for my lower back not to be rub much and I didn’t want deep tissue massage. Also I wanted my whole body massage, but I kind had to ask more than once to rub my feet! I’m not a hard person to handle, so I will try this place again. It’s a beautiful place with friendly people who works there. Also I wish you could book online instead of having to call for an appointment.

The best ever! This was my second time in and they’re so good about remembering their clientele and go above and beyond. My massage definitely felt other worldly thank you a million! She’s a Nurse Practitioner whose knowledge of holistic wellness is exponential. She also provides natural supplementation that will assist with returning you to a state of balance. Kaye genuinely cares and is such a passionate person about your health and wellbeing inside and out. Highly recommended!

I absolutely love Lux Spa! Everything was excellent from the atmosphere to the staff and their service. I had the Hot Stone Massage, and it was amazing. I enjoyed it so much that I booked my next appointment before leaving. I highly recommend them.

I’ve been a client with Lux Spa since the beginning (literally the day after they opened). I’ve been able to see all the changes and different services offered. I’ve never had a bad experience and I have utilized the numerous services offered. The atmosphere is amazing, service is amazing, staff is awesome, and the list just goes on and on. I’ve had the pleasure of watching a local business grow and continue to do great things for the community. Not only do I recommend this business, but if you need instant relaxation, just walk in and sit in the lobby (automatics relaxation). The therapist are very knowledgeable and they have always gone above and beyond with the service. The owners are top notch, extremely friendly, will answer all questions and follow up with you. First class relaxation. Highly recommend everyone give them a try!!!!

As soon as you step inside, you’re met with a stunning view. My therapist was Ashley & she was fantastic — I call her a true miracle worker who takes great pride in her work. I had no idea how bad off I was until this morning when I could lift my arms over my head with no pain! That wasn’t even my target problem!!! She’s made a true believer out of me!

The Heaven on Earth facial was seriously incredible. The two therapist were wonderful and I felt very comfortable with their covid procedures. The waiting area and rooms are well appointed and the owner was at the desk was very pleasant and provided great information on services. Without a doubt I will be back.

Long over due for a return here. Very upscale interior. I felt calm and relaxed just upon my entry of the establishment. I went here for a couple massage with my significant other. And we got the hot rocks deep tissue massage. I had a guy and he had a girl. I melted like butter. All my stress and worries just went away. He took away all the tension in my shoulders and neck. Very pleasant experience. The owner was so nice, it was our first time ever getting a massage. She made it one we will never forget. Will return very soon.

During my appointment there at Lux Med Spa, I enjoyed a very relaxing Deep Tissue Massage with Hot Stones which was incredible. The building invites upon entrance with wonderful smells and gorgeous architectural details of the ceiling and furnishings. The massage itself was great and I definitely feel every muscle was touched and stretched out during the massage. Hot stones is a must to try and I definitely plan on going back for monthly appointments and Bailiee was great and recommended with her soft hands but strong touch. They even allowed wine and provided wine glasses!!

Went this past weekend for a couples massage and a facial for my friend. As soon as we walked in the door the whole feel of the place was super relaxing. Such good customer service from start to finish. I will definitely be returning soon.

I’ve been to Lux a hand full of times over the past few years and had good and bad experiences. Unfortunately my most recent experience was not the best. I was shorted by 20 minutes on a 60 minute facial that I had paid for prior. The esthetician did not know what facial what I was getting, so she had to step out of the room to go find out. That took away some time. The esthetician also played her own relaxation music on her phone, which was right by my ear. There was already spa music in the background, so I am not sure why she had her own “spa” music on. Also, if you want to get a foot detox, do not go here. They sit you in the front where everyone is walking in and out and they are scheduling appointments AND put your feet in cold water. It was not relaxing at all. Definitely not a MED SPA experience. I reached out to the owner, who was not there when I had my appointment. She minimized what I was telling her and had excuses for everything, stating that particular esthetician was always very good about timing. Well mam, that day she was not…it was like she wasn’t hearing me at all. She told me “She didn’t know what I wanted her to do about it, and she guessed she could throw in some hot stones next time I come.”I just said okay, but I do not plan on going back after my recent experience. The owner lacks people skills and was not very professional.

My husband & I had a couples massage & a couples foot detox. We really enjoyed both. The atmosphere is pleasant. The messages did an excellent job. The nurse gave valuable info. We highly recommend this business.

I made an appointment for a massage for my girlfriend but unfortunately I had to cancel. I called and was greeted nicely but the receptionist was apparently busy so she said she was going to call me back. never got a call back and was charged for services not rendered. I discovered I was charged and called back and then told that i was being rude when I stated my card was charged.If I was reading this review I would assume maybe that guy was just one of those hard to deal with customers but Ive worked in retail for 8 years and I know how to talk to people with understanding and compassion. This was just a legitimately bad experience

I promised myself at the beginning of this crazy year that I would actively do more to relax and take a minute for myself at least once a month. Aside from just relaxation, Stephen, one of their massage therapists, has helped me understand where my back pain comes from and helped me with stretches I can do at home to help in the meantime. Also, their space is relaxing in a no frills kind of way. Be sure to utilize their five-massage special to get the most bang for your massage buck.

I had a facial for the first time. I called and go schedule right away! Excellent service felt like a million dollars. Highly recommend them. My skins feels wonderful.

I had such a wonderful massage here by Lindsey who was very professional and really got me to relax. After that, I enjoyed an incredible facial by Kate (Kai?-her accent was a bit heavy and Im not from here), and she was a riot. Very fun and so knowledgable in her profession. I definitely recommend Lux Spa!

Lux Spa is such a beautiful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of life. The environment that Monica has created is so peaceful. Her staff is highly trained and very professional. I go in thinking my skin is fine and leave there realizing it was terribly rough and dry. It is so soft and glowing after the facial it makes me wonder why I wait so long to return. Kay always takes into consideration what your skin needs and will do what’s best to address it. My last facial was with Natasha and she was excellent as well. There are now two locations: Lafayette and Youngsville on Chemin Metairie across from Ascension High School. They are always running specials that are not only highly competitive but phenomenal. Treat yourself or buy these specially priced services as a gift.

Ok, so I got a massage for Christmas at Lux in Youngsville. I had Brandon as my massage therapist. I canNOT... I repeat canNOT recommend him enough. I’ve had massages all over the U.S. throughout my life, and this was THE BEST massage of my life times 10. I’m sure there are plenty of great massages here, but if you aren’t going to him, YOU. 👏🏼 ARE. 👏🏼 MISSING. 👏🏼 OUT. 👏🏼10/10 recommend. 💯This was truly life-changing. 💆🏻‍♂️

Called the day before my service to add on to a gift card i had previously purchased, i was quoted $50_ so i paid for it over the phone so i wouldnt have to worry about it after my appt. Instead of being charged the $50 i was quoted, i was charged the $120 for a brand new package, on top of what we already paid. I understand if i could not add on to a package but i was told over the phone that it could be done and would be only $50, i then paid for that over the phone and 4 days after the service i was charged the $120. When i called they already knew the situation before i gave my name. Very sketchy. I feel fooled. No call back.Aside from that, the massage was up to par, the facial was not.I am not one of those people who look to get something for free but when you quote someone a certain price and you pay for it right then and there, you dont charge them more than you quoted them without notifying them before the service.

Worst massage experience ever.The front staff talked about guests instead of to them, the masseuse acted like I was a burden, the massage table was not heated and the massage was mediocre at best.When I explained my concern with being charged for a 90 min massage when I only got a 40 min one the owner was extremely rude, got an attitude with me.I do not recommend this place- worst massage ever and customer service was horrible.

BOTCHED BOTOX - Kay at Lux spa did my botox and for the first time in over 3 year of getting botox every 4 months, my left outer eyebrow goes up and my right outter eybrow goes down. I asked Kay if she could look at it and possible fix it. Kay rudely refused to fix it because I asked if it could be fixed or could it make it worse (I think that is a very reasonable concern). It is one thing to make a mistake and inject wrong. Though it had never happened to me before, I was open to just asking if she could fix it. But the rudeness and being so unprofessional as to not even fix it is why Im writing this review. Dont go to Lux spa for botox.
