Lamorinda Reflexology & Wellness

I had a frightening experience at this massage studio today.After lossing my credit card I found it in the whole foods parking lot and returned to Lamorinda Wellness. They took me and I payed for a 1 hour massage, 30 min reflexology and 30 min full body. The reflexology was mediocre. I had to keep asking her to apply more pressure. She was decent but it was obvious that she had absolutely no instructed or taught experience. I didnt want her for my full body so I offered to cancel the other half but they insisted and got another woman to complete the task. She was decent but worked too fast. She rushed and never gave me a full body massage. I was on my stomache the whole time and she massaged my legs over the sheet. Afterwards as I was walking towards the door they were all standing at the desk waiting for a tip. Before I could say anything one woman was pointing to the tip line on the receipt and demanding more money (tip) from me. I felt extremely uncomfortable and bullied. I started not to give them anything because of the demanding, agressive posture of all three woman. I decided to just give them 5 dollars. When I wrote in 5 dollars they looked at me and sneered. One of the woman especially looked at me like she wanted to hit me. I was very upset and said, that is all that you are getting. I was traumatized. I went home and told my husband and am still upset. Those women are tacky, have bad manners and need training on how to properly do a decent massage, especially since they want a tip. By the way, nobody has to give you a tip. On top of that you have the nerves to ask for a 20% tip. You service was not worth a tip at all. You all are a melicious Asian massage gang. A pack of roughneck bullies.

The spa was clean & tidy. The greeter was nice & courteous. I chose the 90-minute combo of foot massage and body massage. My foot massage was fabulous. The body massage was good, but I expected more.. The time division was insufficient for an adequate body massage. Most of my stress areas were addressed, but particularly not my right shoulder/arm. I wish the foot massage was 30 minutes and body massage was 60 minutes. Overall, I enjoyed the total experience.

Dont tend to give negative reviews, especially for a local business. But this business should not misrepresent themselves and advertise they do reflexology. It was more a dog petting rub on my feet than a massage. it was so bad, I walked out. My aim was to try them and walk out satisfied and content and instead I was frustrated. They should train their people before exposing them to the public. Shame on you.

Decent reflexology but not the best in the area. The location has a lot of sound that by travel through the walls, making the relaxing vibe a little less. They will ask for a specific tip amount afterwards.

My husband come here at least once a month for a one hour full body and a one hour foot massage. The most comfortable, relaxing, and clean atmosphere weve been to yet! The prices here cannot be beat!

This is by far the best massage l have ever had. leo really takes his time to figure out what your body needs. The pressure he applies is just right and he makes sure to work on areas that he feels need extra attention. Someone down below called him a body whisperer and I would totally second that. I walked out feeling refreshed and relaxed. If you need a good massage l recommend you book with leo.

Not a great experience. Massage was mediocre and staff balked at an 18% tip and insisted that the minimum was 20%.

They have false advertising. Their prices are way more than their web site states and they will not honor their advertisements. No thanks!
