I was in severe pain for 3 days. Called and they had me come in right away. Lisa concentrated on my back issue and I was able to walk out with very little pain. Very nice, professional, and clean. Thank you so much, I get massages monthly and have been for 15 years for back problems and this was hands down one of the best massages I have ever got.

The best 60 minute massage 💆‍♀️ I hardly fall asleep during a massage but here I did. Not to mention amazing prices. Perfect when you live a crazy busy life, no appointment needed they take walk ins.

I just moved to the area and was looking for a place that gives great deep tissue massages. I was a little bit skeptical about this place because of the mixed reviews, but they were able to get me in for a same-day appointment, so I decided to roll the dice.I’m so glad I did! I received a truly excellent 90-minute deep tissue massage from Melinda. I went in super tense and stressed, and left feeling like Jello. I would highly recommend, and will definitely be going back.I would also like to take a second to address some of the consistent themes in the negative reviews I saw:1. The bed isn’t “cold,” it’s just not heated. We live in Florida - why would you even need/ want a heated massage bed?2. No, English is not their first language. They understand/ speak enough to address your needs during the service. If you want to chat about your day, call a friend.3. It’s not a day spa. If you’re going here expecting a complementary glass of wine while you go on an aromatherapy journey and then purchase some overpriced beauty products on your way out, this isn’t for you. You’re paying all the extra money for the perks in those places, not the quality of the massage itself.4. IF YOU CAN’T AFFORD THE TIP, YOU CAN’T AFFORD THE SERVICE. For all of the people complaining about the “audacity” of the staff to stand up for themselves and expect a tip when you didn’t provide one, I am sorry to have to be the one to tell you this, but here in the good ol’ US of A, we tip for services (valet parking, haircuts, massages, etc.). Unless the massage therapist spit in your hair (or unless the waitress spit in your food… you see where I’m going with this), you tip at least 18-20%.

Due to back problems Ive had to start getting massages and struggled finding a place that is convenient and has modest prices. They seem to always have someone available and are conveniently located mid Lakeland. Im definitely going to be a returning customer! They really know how to dig into those tense spots with their elbows, forearms and fist, great stuff

Called late last night for a last-minute massage and was able to get in first thing this morning. Reviews are correct that customers need to have the right expectations going in. This isn’t the same as a day spa, I would compare it much more to the massages you can get at a chiropractor’s office: no fluff, respectful staff, and a massage that focuses on muscle tension more than relaxation. While there were some language barriers, we laughed through the confusion between us and I had a very great experience. Will definitely return and plan to book a couples massage next!

I took my husband for his birthday & we got a couples massage, it was amazing!! I should’ve gotten the ladies names, but they were both phenomenal! The couples massage included a hot stone treatment which was really nice. We will definitely be back.

Wasnt all that good. It was more like a body rub with a hot stone treatment then a massage.The place was hot and not very comfortable

It was not relax at all , I had a schedule couple massage appt at 9:30 and it didn’t start until 9:50 or so then kept getting interrupted and the massage was rough it was just not a great experience then she made me tip her and try to force me to tip an extra $10 when it wasn’t a great experience never will I come back

I would not go back to this place, I had a 90 minute massage and it was an absolute joke. I did not complete a health questionnaire at the beginning then she was trying to do chiropractic maneuvers instead of staying in the massage therapist lane. At one point she put all her pressure on my head to pop my neck. She had no routine and it was very asymmetrical. The table and the room was cold and when i mentioned it she spent the last 20 minutes of my massage trying to warm my fingers and toes. My husband was trying to be sweet and book and appointment for me, if you’re a husband reading the reviews to book one for your wife.. go somewhere else.

Normally I go to Bella Vista spa or The Heights salon and spa for massage. Last week I decided to go to Elite Massage due to their cheaper rates. The massage itself is AVERAGE. The 2-star rating is for the non-massage aspects of the place. I got a 90-minute massage because I never get relief from 60-minute massages. Before the session started, the therapist made sure to remind me that a 90-minute massage costs $100 PLUS tip. That was rude and unnecessary. Then when the session started, I noticed that the massage table was cold. Since it was early in the morning, I thought maybe it just needed time to warm up. After 30 minutes, the massage table remained cold and the room itself was cold due to AC so I started shivering. I asked the therapist to turn the heater on for the massage table but she couldnt understand me, so I told her I was cold and she put an extra towel on my back. A heated table is a standard in any spa offering massages as that helps relax the muscles. This is the first time I felt cold while getting a massage. To summarize: I went to Elite Massage to save a few dollars and I got what I paid for -- RUDE & CHEAP SERVICE. Needless to say, I wont be coming back here.UPDATE: Just to show how cheap this place is... The owner responded about desired level of pressure even though I never mentioned pressure anywhere in my review. They wrote some gibberish just so they could say that they responded to a review. And for that, I downgraded my rating to 1-star. They need to work on their reading comprehension skills. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else for massage! You wont regret it!!!

In general the massage was nice. The experience was only okay and for several reasons i will not return.Starting the massage I was greeted and brought to the massage room and the door was closed. No instructions, welcome or anything. Because Ive had a massage before I assumed that meant to get ready and on the table. But for someone who it may be there first time it would be very confusing.Secondly, I asked the massage therapist to focus on my back because that is what is hurting. This was a walk-in massage, I really needed deep tissue work on my back! She said, oh. I mentioned she could massage other areas as well but please focus on my back. Unfortunately that wasnt the case. Like I said it was a good massage, but it was just like any full body relaxing massage and my back did not get any special attention and it was not necessarily deep tissue as i asked. That was disappointing.Lastly, and this was a first for me... at checkout I was asked to leave a larger tip. I left more the 10% and less than 15%. I could have left more and usually do, but whatever the reason tipping is at the discretion of the customer and I had plenty of reasons prior mentioned to not leave more.I want to support small local businesses over chain-business and I love to leave good reviews. But after being asked to leave a larger tip (which I did) when I wasnt impressed, I unfortunately will not be returning there.

You always receive an excellent massage here. I always leave refreshed and relaxed. They are very flexible with you when you need to get a massage, they can work you in anytime. I highly recommend coming to Elite Massage, you will get a great massage!! Angela was awesome today, she remembered my sore spots on my neck and shoulder. I showed her my other sore spots and she worked out all the knots. This is the second time Angela has given me a massage and both times I left feeling much better than when I arrived!!!

First time there. Excellent therapeutic and relaxing massage. Haven’t felt better in months. Also, they did not ask for or push for a tip which is one thing that the last couple places did and I never went back. Tip is discretionary and shud not be demanded. Very nice, clean and professional!

I called to see if I needed an appointment and was told no, that I could just come in and I made arrangements to do so about 20 minutes later. I got here 19 minutes later (I know becsuse I checked the call time) and I was told that I took too long and that it would be an hour wait. I wasted 40 minutes for nothing. HORRIBLE SERVICE.

I have visited Elite Massage on several occasions over the past year. The staff is kind, courteous, punctual and has been exceptionally knowledgeable in their massage therapy techniques. The salon is extra clean with an ambient atmosphere created throughout. The experience is very relaxing which will warrant your return many times over. Their hours are ideal for everyone’s schedules. Give them a call and book the massage that you are well deserved. It is definitely the BEST !

My boyfriend and I went here for a couple s massage and it was amazing . The ladies were kind and professional . the place was very clean, This is the best massage weve ever had .They were very affordable. We will definitely be coming back soon.

I recommend highly!After having been disrespected and my time wasted by the massage place across the street from here, I just went to this place instead due to proximity. It was a great decision. I ordered a 60-minute massage and the time FLEW BY az quick as lightning disappears! Now I see why the also offer 90 and 120 minute massages. But Im glad I started out with a 60 minute to get a feel for it.You will NOT be disappointed folks. Just tell the masseuse which body areas need concentration and how strong you want them targeted.

I have experienced on several occasions with Nancy at Elite Spa. And over time the areas that she has concentrated on have significantly improved. I feel the results are totally contributed to her knowledge and past experiences of knowing how to go about approaching the areas in need over a long term plan. Each and every visit I walked away with less pain and comforting results. I highly recommend her and Elite Spa as your place for a relaxation of your physical and mental well being.

I had the most professional deep tissue massage in my life. I have a bad lower back and knots near my shoulder blades. Carol, my masseuse, walked on my back superbly and gave me an outstanding deep tissue massage. The spa is very clean and well organized. I highly recommend Elite Massage Spa and Therapy to everyone. I will be back.

Worst massage everWent in for couples massage. Both ladies talked (in the native language) throughout the massage. I was never able to relax with all the talking.. At one point, I know their conversation was about me because I could hear my husband’s attendant come over to my table as my attendant continued to touch a certain part of my hand. Both attendants would come and go out of the room to greet customers that came into the shop during our massage.. I’m not sure my attendant was even a licensed massage therapist. She practically rubbed up and down my back and dug her elbow in my shoulder muscle majority of the time.

Worst place ever! I scheduled an appointment 4 days in advance for massages only for them to not take us when we showed up. They didnt even called us yo let us know not to come. Very unprofessional and worst place to visit. I wish I could give a zero!

Absolutely amazing experience, the young lady I had was extremely gentle but tough enough to get deep in my tissue, they understood I was pregnant and continuously asked if I was okay and comfortable. I would highly recommend this place!!
