Received a gift card from this place…I booked a facial and didn’t even receive extractions, she said there wasn’t any time for it since they were running behind schedule and then you are expected to pay full service for getting your face wiped down with cleanser and moisturized. On another occasion I booked a 60 minutes Swedish massage $120, again they were 10 minutes late and then you have to change so basically got 45 minutes massage. The massage itself was a joke, felt like I was getting rubbed down in lotion by a toddler, no professional techniques at all. The place is clean and has friendly front desk, other than that, save your time and money. A complete DISAPPOINTMENT!

I paid for a 60 minute massage & she was finished at 45 minutes after taking me 5 minutes late into my appt. Which I arrived for 15 minutes prior as the spa suggests. I even had an added foot scrub added to it up front. So it should have easily gone well over 60 minutes but the foot scrub was incorporated w/the massage. Very disappointed that they dont hold to their time limits as a well-known franchise. Will go elsewhere next time where I know I will get the full 60 minutes.

Absolutely fraudulent practices here. You sign a billing agreement that says you have 3 ways to cancel subscriptions AND IT IS IN WRITING! I called to cancel and was told I have to stop into the location personally. I was told there their location has a different policy, yet I signed their agreement saying I have 3 ways. I dont care what you claim your policies are. I signed THIS agreement with this clause shown below. Fraudulent practice to try to keep your money!!BBB and PA Attorney Generals Office notified.

What I received today was not worth the $120 it cost me. My appointment was at 10, she never touched me until 10:20 but abruptly stopped at 11. I paid for a 60 minute massage and only got 40 mins.She spent so much time on my foot in the beginning that it then felt like she rushed through the rest.The ladies at the desk were friendly and attentive. The place was clean and had a relaxing atmosphere.

Great atmosphere with affordable services and professional staff. Im always greeted immediately and sent to the lounge to wait for my appointment. Waiting areas, rooms, and restrooms are clean and accommodating. Purchase a membership to get the best value and discounts on services beyond what the membership covers.

Calm, clean and relaxing atmosphere. I went in for a prenatal massage and was very please with my therapist. I hadn’t been sure about using a male therapist but Tanner was very detailed in making sure I was comfortable and that he was not hurting me at any point. 10/10 would recommend and will definitely be back again I’m sure before I have my baby!

I came here for a prenatal massage late in my pregnancy. The massage itself was great but the massage therapist talked to me the entire time about all three of her traumatic births which is not something you want to hear late in your pregnancy or while getting a massage. Disappointed in the entire experience.

I bought my wife a gift card to this place and her experience was less than satisfactory. The appoint was suppose to begin at 1:00 but she wasn’t taken back until 10 min later. At that point she’s given a consultation and asked to undress which apparently is included in the time of the massage. Long story short, you’ll pay for a full tank of gas but only get 3/4. I wouldn’t recommend it.

Finally someone who can provide a strong enough massage to provide relief for overworked arms. I went to Luxe a mess and Ben was able to work my muscles and provide near instant relief. I was only going for one massage, but signed up for the membership so I can continue with him!

Discovered MassageLuXe in this community, its so convenient to be within walking distance. I couldnt wait to check the website and customer reviews, and even sent emails with some questions... Unfortunately, most of the reviews were negative, and no one responded to my emails.I write this just in the hope that I will be one of the guests among the many compliments in the future.

The atmosphere and kindness of the staff for the most past was good, and the BOGO deal was awesome as a Christmas gift. & my fiancé seemed to really enjoy her massage, but I didn’t have the best time. Granted it felt well and was relieving, but my therapist commented on my 3rd degree burns that cover a majority of my body 3+ times throughout the 1 hour massage. His response several times was “wow that’s wild” & “oh there’s more?!” I feel as though he could’ve been a bit more professional/respectful regarding that aspect.

My girl friend and I went for a couples massage and one of us had a freezing experience. Lotion was so cold. I was asked where to focus on and said my shoulders and lower back but the focus was my feet, I had asked that my feet didn’t get touched but that seemed to be where they wanted to focus. Don’t recommend this spa at all!!

I had a terrible experience. First and foremost, during the massage the masseuse scratched my back and left a large cut. I now have a permanent scar on my upper back. The masseuse didnt even bother to apologize.Second, the receptionist was not very helpful, and didnt seem to know how to interact with someone from another country. They were impatient, and very unfriendly. When I asked to talk to a manager about the cut they gave me, I was told the manager would reach out when they are available. But, of course, no one ever got back to me.This is the worst place to get a massage, or any other service. It was certainly the worst experience I have had with a massage in my life.

Every month I have a massage with my membership. I get rescheduled for the next one when I leave. I noticed that my last massage was billed twice. A $66.00 charge and a $75.00 charge. I went in to get it checked and the girl at the desk said that I was scheduled before my membership hour was due, so they charged me $141.00. My appointment was scheduled for the 3rd of August and apparently it should have been for the 5th. So don’t you think the person scheduling should have seen this before she scheduled me and then charged me!! I canceled my membership. Don’t need extra charges that I am not expecting!

Left a message for management and it has been over a week with no response.I wrote them: I met my therapist and we went back to the room and started talking through preferences. I disclosed a recent injury to my left shoulder (which I had also disclosed on my intake paperwork) and a wound that was still healing. I asked to have very light pressure around the joint and limited range of motion. The therapist seemed to understand and did not have any further questions.During the massage, I was laying on my stomach and the therapist went to raise my raise my injured arm well beyond my current range of motion without any warning. I was able to pull back and said, Whoa! Stop! The therapist apologized and the massage continued. She also rubbed directly over my wound later causing me to whimper and she apologized again. I regret not stopping the massage.My last complaint about the massage was the therapists nails were rough, borderline sharp. This lead to several moments of displeasure during the massage.

For my chronic pain havers- I had a trigger point massage with Natalie, and it was definitely one of the best massages I have had. I felt relief in the areas that bother me most. I also recommend getting the membership, it is such a good deal to get a specialized massage for practically half the price each month.

Management is petty children running a business. Rude and unprofessional. All I want to do is cancel my membership through email(before I get charged again) which I know can be done. Because the environment there for me is so unpleasant and rude anymore. I was told I can only immediately cancel and lose over 300 dollars in services. No thanks! I’d rather just cancel through email and use my services that way I do not have to deal with the children at the front desk.Update I received the cancel form via email that I was told they were not able to do two days after my payment came out of my account. How convenient. I’d like a refund of the last payment and then I will cancel my membership. Thank you

If I could, Id give 0 stars. I saw another reviewer with basically the same issue. IF YOU WANT VALENTINES DAY or any other to break your bank for a mediocre massage, this is the place for you. I booked a massage after having had 2 other mediocre massages (only went back cause i could get in quickly but wasnt charged more than $75 for those 2). I was on time. My massage was for 6pm. The massage therapist came and got me on time and then spent at least 15 min just asking me questions. I looked at the clock at start time and it was already 6:25. Massage was awful.... no pressure and rushed. Looked at clock when done and it was 7pm. A bad 35 min massage AND THEN CHARGED $120. Unbelievable. I called many times to talk to the General Manager and they kept telling me she would call back and she never would. Well I will never go back AND I will tell EVERYONE I know to never go there and save themselves from being scammed!!!! YOU ARE A RIP OFF!!!!!

Have been a member here for over a year, and had to cancel my membership in February. I had two sessions left and got sick, they were nice to convert my last sessions into gift cards. Today I had my massage, which was excellent, but am not aloud to use the gift cards towards massages for myself. This was not explained during the cancelation, and would not want anyone else to experience this. 3 stars for the therapists/front desk, minus two stars for the policies/customer service experienced. Shame I was considering going back...

After a massage last month, the young girl at the front desk offered to make an account that would be on hold until further notice and would charge me $5 a month. Today my bank account was overdrawn because Luxe withdraw the $75 instead. I called the office and NOTHING was done except a promise that the manager would call me back and they didnt! They obviously dont intend on fixing this problem.... dont believe a word they say!Update. Was left a message on 10/21 that a regional manager would get back to me today 10/23 to resolve issue..... guess what, no one called! I guess Im out $75!!!

I am a loyal customer and I admit the my memory is a bit off so I relay on the text reminders and emails right before my appointments. I simply tried to explain to management that I did not receive notification until after my appointment had started so I will be charged which is ok. But I do not appreciate the tone that was used and the dismissive attitude. I simply explained That since their text and email system seems unreliable I would just add myself a reminder on my own calendar. I’m at this facility at least 2 times a month and now I feel uncomfortable since the managers demeanor over the phone was super rude.

Went for massage & facial back in March, a present I received from my fiancee.The services were good, but the front desk is unprofessional, no change for tips or to purchase more services. Went today to purchase a facial for my fiancee for Mothers day, they kept trying to up sell and again no change., So I would have to buy a more expensive package. This was only a part of the presents for her not the main gift. How unprofessional not to have change at a business, especially one that the employees get tipped. I said thank you and walked out. Ill take my business somewhere else

I have received gift cards to go here a few times. Nearly every time I schedule, my appointments are cancelled the day of, sometimes with less than two hours notice. If this happened once because of an emergency, I would understand. However, this has happened four times over a period of a few years. More than once, it was directly after a holiday. Both times (a year apart) it was because the therapist had the flu. Once would make sense, twice seems to indicate otherwise. Would not recommend.

Went to this spa for the first time. Deep tissue masseuse was very good. However upon checking out there was a discrepancy about a gift card which was given to me. After some discussion, the main receptionist got involved and was very rude and unreasonable. I had nomproblem paying for the massage but the incident was handled very poorly. The main receptionist was RUDE!I was about to buy a membership and book 5 massages that day for a girls weekend but after that experience I will not be returning to that place. MassageLuxe on Gilbert way by Wegmans. Long gone are the days of “we are here to serve the customer”!!!

There was a cancellation so I was able to get in next day for a Swedish and scalp treatment. Everything was clean and lovely. Terry was AMAZING!!!!!!!! It’s not every day you find an intuitive masseuse. He wasn’t just going through the motions, he was giving the proper treatment. He was professional and friendly. I’ll be returning to see Terry! The girls tried to sell me on membership of course but weren’t pushy. Thanks all!

I went for their introductory special of an hour long massage for $60. My masseuse took my back 8 minutes after my 4pm appointment and I was changed and waiting in the lobby by 4:42. I checked the time bc I knew it wasn’t a 50 minute massage as advertised. The massage was probably the worst I ever received, no pressure and rushed. I told the receptionist my disappointment and she just said OK. They wanted me to tip on the “actual retail value” of $120 which is truly a scam. Do not recommend this place AT ALL.

Ive been a member at another location of Massage Luxe and after covid the service really started to dwindle, so I canceled my membership. When I moved to Lancaster I really took the time to think if I wanted to give Massage Luxe another chance and Im so happy I did. I had a 2 hour deep tissue massage yesterday with Shelly. She was so good that I went ahead and scheduled my next months massage with her. She was sure to make sure the pressure was ok, understand what areas were bothering me, and read my notes prior.One con was that it was 15 minutes into my appointment when I was brought back so it did cut into my massage time.

She made sure that I was comfortable and that I got what I wanted out of the experience. The entire facility was beautiful, and the staff at the front desk were very friendly. My husband tried to book us a couples massage for our anniversary and a week before the appointment, received a call to let him know his appointment was accidentally scheduled for only one person so they needed to reschedule it, which he did.Today, with only 2 hours before the appointment, we finally received our e-forms to sign and did so just in time to get a call that one of the therapists wasnt coming into work so they could only give us half of the couples massage (I know, so special and romantic!) so we canceled it after taking a day off work just for this.I obviously cant speak to the quality or lack thereof of the actual massage because weve tried twice and not been able to receive our massage. However, I will not be trying to reschedule any other services here when their scheduling is an absolute disaster.

So I scheduled a couples massage with my fiancé and myself about a month ago 2 weeks later, my person who was to do my massage called in sick so they rescheduled us for today which was 2 weeks after our original scheduled day and called and told me that my person who was supposed to give me my massages called in this morning and stated that they were feeling I’ll n had to reschedule we had to change dates 3 times and still haven’t even been there yet this would have been our first time there I’m furious with this place I will not recommend anybody there. I scheduled a 60 minute deep tissue for my fiancé. He said his therapist smelled like cigarettes which impacted his experience. He did not enjoy the massage and I feel like I wasted my money and his time. I did call to see what could be done to rectify his dissatisfaction. I was not offered a gift card or significant offer. Instead I was told I could pay for another massage which is not going to happen. It’s unfortunate because I’m new to PA and wanted to find a new spa home.

At almost 60 years old Ive never had a massage. My daughter gave me a gift card so I decided to try it. I was hesitant but I found the people at MassageLuXe to be very professional and helpful. The therapist named Joseph did a great job with a deep tissue massage. I felt that my circulation improved, my pain in my lower back was gone. I was unable to turn my head prior to this but after the massage I could turn my head all the way to my shoulder. I also suffer from carpal tunnel , and he was able to massage it to the point where the numbness was gone through the middle of my hand and two fingers and I was able to make a fist which I could not do for several weeks prior to this . It was an absolutely wonderful experience, and I would recommend trying it out for yourself. I know Im going back!

They cancel appointments last minute and can not accommodate schedules as promised when they recruit you for membership. Had three appointments canceled in a row. Evenings and weekends not available for 5-6 weeks out. They will not refund my money on my account.Building/rooms are clean, ambiance is ok. Some therapists are very good, others seem there only for the paycheck and are going through the motions literally.Cant recommend sadly.

I have tried to schedule a couples massage now since the middle of March they’ve canceled it a week before because the person ‘called out’, they had a week to find someone else .Got a call the day before my appointment 4/8 an said they canceled my fiancé appointment an wanted to change the time an it wouldn’t work. They moved another customer to a different time so I could keep our time . Now 3 hrs before our appointment they call an said the person called out an they could reschedule once again for 2-3 weeks away. Was definitely looking forward to this today an a few weeks ago . Got a membership for my husband and I before COVID-19. Things were pretty good. In 2020, they froze our membership for awhile and in May 2021when we tried to get an appointment for couples massage, we scheduled for June And two in July. They canceled all three because two of the masseuses we scheduled with either were fired or quit and they said no openings til August. Today we went to cancel and wanted a refund for what we paid in and were told their corporate wants people to use their hours vs a refund. We had 3 in the bank. We can’t use the 3 hours cause they keep canceling! Poor customer service!’ We will not return!!!

BEWARE OF THIS PLACE!I chose this place due to the reviews. What a mistake! The person that did my massage came into the waiting room to get me. Didnt introduce herself. Brought me to a room, told me to put my clothes on the chair and get under the sheet. She left the room and returned about 10 minutes later. She told me to put my face in the face pad. When she began to put the lotion on me, she took it out of the bowl and put it directly on my skin...she did not warm it up beforehand. I jumped because it was so cold...this didnt alert her as she continued to do it for the rest of the time. While she was working on my back, she paused a few times, which puzzled me until I turned over and saw she had airpods on, and was messing with her watch! When it was over, she told me to get dressed and head out. I need to add, that she started at 3:15pm and I was at the reception area by 4:00 on the nose. I paid for a 60 minute session. I was asked by the receptionist if I wanted to leave gratuity, and I said I dont even know who worked on me. She said her name is Greta, would you like to leave gratuity? I said no, it was an awful experience. She said, oh Im sorry..do you want a receipt? I was infuriated. This is the worst place Ive ever been to. Customer service is awful, when I expressed my dissatisfaction, there was nothing from them. I WOULD NEVER SPEND A PENNY THERE AGAIN!!

I came in for an hour deep tissue massage. While the front staff was very friendly, as was the therapist, the “massage” wasn’t the best. I’ve gotten massages every month for the past two years and this was hands down the worst. I never actually had muscles worked, instead the therapist only used trigger point therapy and half the time wasn’t even on a trigger point. I had asked for a focus on my neck and shoulders and the least amount of time was spent there. There are plenty of other places in the area you can great a great massage without the high service price.

Have had a monthly membership at the Lancaster branch since I moved into the Lancaster area 3 years ago. I appreciate a long massage and have requested specific therapists based on their proven ability to give a good massage (my opinion).When staffing turnover affects monthly scheduled appointments and a new CMT must be scheduled, I was encouraged to try other therapists. Some were good...some not so much! It is for this reason that I maintained regular appointments with specific therapist(s).Recently I have experienced a monthly price increase, portion controlling extra services (foot scrub), last minute appointment cancellations, and automatic tips applied to my appointment despite ALWAYS giving cash and never having authorized it. (Full Disclosure: They did correct/reverse the unauthorized charge when brought to their attention).Overall customer service has taken a dip and some business practices appear questionable (assume it was an error). My attempt to book a massage in excess of 1.5 hour for some reason was recently considered problematic despite my long-standing record of seeking longer massages over the last three years and MassageLuXe actively marketing the monthly EPIC package... which includes 2 hour massages.Today I unfortunately cancelled my monthly membership service after I was informed a week ago, and asked for manager follow up, why my previously scheduled concurrent 1.5 hour appointments would not be honored.I have been fortunate enough to identify and maintain good CMTs to justify maintaining my monthly service. Given the turnover in the industry I feel I will need to seek services from a less restrictive provider. My overall ranking is a (4) for the good therapists I have been fortunate to have, overall cleanliness, and atmosphere but not a (5) due to massage duration restrictions, some overall business practices, and lack of appointment availability.

I have had nothing but issuses with this company. The staff is unhelpful. I had a couples massage set up and was informed last minute that they could only do a singles massage because they didnt have the staff and if I wanted to do a couples massage it would have to be moved four weeks. so I made an appointment somewhere else and now Im out the money and no one will call me back about a refund they just denied it... It is the holiday season I am out double the money for having to go somewhere else that would accommodate me and this place is being ridiculous and not accommodating me at all I just want my money back!

This facility is brand new and very well staffed. From the check-in people to my massage therapist I felt welcomed. I really enjoyed my service here and had no problem signing up for a monthly subscription. Would absolutely recommend to anyone. Jose was awesome!

I would not recommend this place based on my previous experience. Yesterday evening my sister, friend, and myself had made appointments at MassageLuxe for three massages. When we arrived we were checked in, filled out forms, and were escorted to the lounge to further fill out what type of massage we were looking to get. They came and escorted my sister, then friend back to their designated rooms. After being able to here them talking in the hall for several minutes that the one massage therapist Andrea was not there(me assuming I would just be getting someone else) they came to get me & asked me to come out to the front to talk where three people told me that unfortunately Andrea called off work so they had no massage therapist for me. This is all AFTER I filled out the paperwork and they took the two other girls in. They were in from out of town and I had arranged for a babysitter being I am a new mom to do this evening out!!! Instead of apologizing they simply said well we tried to call and the number was disconnected which is a complete lie as they sent us THREE confirmation text an hour prior. I’m not upset I didn’t get my massage but how it was handled was completely horrible. They couldn’t own their mistake and just say sorry instead trying to push blame onto us with a lie, that’s the part that is the worse. They did try and comp me a massage but after the interaction with them there is no way I wouldn’t even want to go back and it certainly wouldn’t be the same as I would not have my friend & sister to spend the day with being from out of town.Save yourself the trouble and find a more professional place to go.

Feel bad leaving a bad review because Lazarus was great. Very professional, helpful and funny. The check out process is so bad it’s funny. We had a gift card and you might as well have put the barcode in a different language. They have to manually enter everything and then they make you put the gratuities in cash in an envelope. We didn’t have the correct change and it was a hassle. Also, with gratuity it was $290 for a 1-hour couples massage that really was 45 minutes because we started late. All they care about is money…

I rarely ever give reviews but I think I would be doing anyone who needs a deep tissue massage a disservice if I don’t share my experience and with whom I had it with. The front desk was incredibly friendly and the space is clean, relaxing and inviting. The private calm waiting space with all the amenities was a nice touch. When I was greeted by my Massage Therapist Dana. Folks, don’t be fooled by her petite frame... she’s got a strong firm touch. I explained to her my major issues in our consultation. Neck tension stress, shoulder blade inflammation, and just plain old pain in my upper body. That’s what I went there to work on and I was pleasantly surprised that she did exactly that. She did work on other areas that all connected to the initial pain but focused on the source. I’m not sure how long Dana has been a therapist but you can tell she is incredibly versed on anatomy. She worked on trigger points very firm and deep and paid attention to my reactions. She knew when to continue and she knew when to move on. I can honestly say for the first time ever in getting a massage I wasn’t thinking “No not there... ugh... why is he/she massaging there??” Haha. You know we have all been there. She was thorough and knowledgeable. Not that I had a conversation with her about her knowledge. I felt it in her touch. I can’t speak for other therapists because she was my only one but I am beyond satisfied and definitely recommend Dana for deep tissue massages.

So, they had advertised a special for Black Friday and Cyber Monday which I purchased for my boyfriend and I as a surprise. I called Saturday to set up a couples massage for us and the girl was so sweet and set us up. She requested that we arrive 15 minutes early for paperwork and that if we were not there early it would cut into our time and we would lose our massage time. We got there for our 230 appointment and fill out our paperwork and are taken to the back to wait for our therapists. The girl then comes back and informs us that one of the massage therapists is not coming in because he is sick and thinks he has COVID. However she told us she texted him “where are you man your 230 is here” and he said he wasn’t coming in. So not only did he not call off appropriately, but we were just sitting there waiting for them to take us back. They ask you to be early (which is reasonable) but then their worker just doesn’t show up. So we did not get our massages. I informed the girl when she tried to reschedule us that I can’t just reschedule. We have a 7 month old baby at home that I have to have my mother in law drive an hour to watch for us to be able to come in to get the service. Then my spouse has to also be off work. This was a surprise for my spouse that was ruined. I understand we are in rough times right now but I am just frustrated with the way it was handled. The girl offered us some coupons for “add ons” towards our next massage that I’m not even sure when I can get in. I wouldn’t have purchased the coupons if I knew I wasn’t going to get the service today. I would have went somewhere else. I have been wanting to try this place out and they had a special advertised and I wanted to plan a special day for my spouse before he has surgery next week. I called the customer service line today and left a message and no one has gotten back to me. It just was such a let down and now I’m out money for something I haven’t received. My whole day was just a let down from this experience. We are expected to show up to our appointment but the workers just don’t show up. I found it very unprofessional.

I don’t even know where to begin. I’ve never been so upset with a service in my life and I’m not one to complain. We scheduled 3 appointments for my sister and friend who came to visit from out of town. I received several confirmation calls and a confirmation text an hour before our scheduled service. When we got to the spa, they took my friend and I back to the room. I was then informed that my sister wasn’t getting a massage because one of their therapists called off. I never received a call. They claimed my phone was disconnected but I have received phone calls, texts and voicemails all day. They checked her in and had her go to the lounge to fill out paper work. She then sat there waiting for her therapist before being called back out to the waiting room and told she would not be getting a massage. She is a new mom who was taking the day to herself for the first time and it was completely ruined. They offered to comp her another day but that doesn’t make up for the wasted day away from her baby.I would not recommend this place to anyone! Not once did they apologize, rather tried to place the blame on us.I’m so upset with the whole experience. Don’t plan your day around visiting this spa.I then commented on their Facebook page about my experience. Not only did they not reach out to me about the situation, they removed the comment and blocked me from their Facebook page.

Pros: The facility is very clean and the environment is extremely relaxing. You can schedule online. The front desk staff is top notch - they are extremely friendly and helpful. The waiting room is very nice and I like that they have bottled water available.Cons: My first experience was a few months ago when I came for a massage. The massage was average (Ive had many massages). What disappointed me the most was I was pretty sure the (male) masseuse pulled out his phone during the massage. He was awkwardly massaging me with one hand for an extended period of time and then I thought I heard what sounded like fingers on his phone (assuming he was texting) and then put it in his pocket. I was face down so cannot confirm this is what actually happened. I felt so uncomfortable after this. I should have mentioned it to management but didnt want to make a big deal about it.I went back this past weekend for a facial. While not awful, it certainly wasnt great. The technician was pleasant, but my 11am appointment didnt start until almost 11:25pm (but the time she started the treatment, as she was running behind) and ended at 12pm. Somehow my 50 minute treatment was only 35 minutes. It was mediocre at best. I would NEVER pay full price for this service (i had purchased a discounted facial).Bottom line: take your money to a local, more high end spa in the area.

Receptionist Christina attitude was horrible. Her words to me was “she wasn’t going to argue with me”. As a customer service manager I would NEVER tell a customer that. I was told my appointment was at noon & to come in 15 mins early not only do I I Have A WITNESS TO THAT I scheduled my sitter according to that. I was 6 mins late arriving at 12:06 & when I got there I was told my appointment was at 11:45. This is not my 1st massage & I know that you usually come in 15 mins early or so to fill out paperwork. I filled my paper work out online which was sent about a hour or so before my appointment. If I knew my appointment was at 11:45 I would have been told to come in at 11:30. The receptionist that checked me out ( didn’t get her name) told me that Christina was new & schedule me in wrong & didn’t “drop me down” into the right spot. If I knew my appt was at 11:45 & I was going to be more than 15 mins late I would have reschedule. From the time I did get out of my massage it was great but the experience at the front desk was absolutely HORRIBLE making my experience not a pleasant one. Would not go again. Lacking customer service. Got a prenatal massage and the therapist never told me her name. I was not called by my name during my entire visit. Paid for a 90 minute massage with coupon but it started about 15 minutes late and ended almost exactly 60 minutes later. I didnt want to seem persnickety since I was using a coupon anyway so I just let it go. When I went to pay I was told to pay full price 3 times after reminding the receptionist about the coupon. That was even after I mentioned the coupon on the phone when I scheduled my appointment. The massage itself was extremely sub-par. I could get really picky and mention a bunch of different complaints but Ill just go with one. After the massage was over I was very slimy with all the gel and was not offered a towel or anything to wipe off the excess. Its just the little things that could make a huge difference when people are paying good money for comfort and relaxation. In my opinion, avoid chain massage places like Massage Luxe and Hand and Stone. Go to Veranda on Dutch Gold Drive if you want a quality massage and customer service.

I purchased 3 gift certificates during a black Friday promotion in 2020. I gave these as Christmas gifts to three dear friends. They were able to schedule their spa services together. One friend had a massage and two had facials. Everything seemed to go fine until my one friend was checking out following her facial. She was informed that she owed an additional $50.00 above the amount of the gift certificate. When she questioned the charge the staff claimed she had an upgraded facial with more expensive products. To be completely clear, she did NOT request the more expensive service nor was she informed of any additional expense prior to her service. Not knowing what else to do she paid the $50.00. On the drive home she compared her facial with the one the other woman received and there were no differences. I was very upset when I learned about the charge as I gave her the gift certificate so she could have a relaxing break from life. I called LUXE to express my frustration and they claimed that my friend requested the more expensive facial when she scheduled the service. This is absolutely NOT true. This was her first experience with this spa and she scheduled the facial with the clear understanding she had a gift certificate for a specific service. The staff was unwilling to resolve the problem and refund the money. My friend who received the $50.00 charge also called LUXE hoping they would refund the charge. They did not. The only resolution that was offered was for a $50.00 credit to be applied to a massage but she would be required to pay any amount over that. She declined as she had no intention of giving them anymore of her money. Since LUXE is a newer business I would expect customer service to be a priority but clearly that is not the case.*** LUXE reached out to my friend and is refunding the charge. Thank you!

I have been a MassageLuxe member for four years. I love their policies and the ability to freeze your membership or even put a hold on for a medical reason. I’ve been to many MassageLuxe’s across the nation and while the therapists have ranged ability- I have never felt unsafe or unclean or in any location.As for the owners of the Lancaster location- I can’t help but notice that they take time to write back to legitimate reviews on this site, which is something rarely done by establishments. This shows the level of engagement and involvement they have with their company- not just as an investment, but as something they truly care about- from the building, to the associates to the customers. My mom had purchased me a gift certificate for a 60 minute massage for Christmas this year. After I finally found time to use it, I was so excited to relax and have a massage...unfortunately this was not the experience I had. While the facility was nice, and the water massage table was nice at the end, the actual massage was pretty horrible. I told my therapist that I was having a lot of stress in my back and that this I where I would want the massage to be focused, unfortunately this is where he spent the least amount of time. Also, my masseuse would not stop talking the entire time I was there. Even when I tried to give him the hint and ignored him, he just wouldnt stop. It got to the point where he actually drew the outline of a dog park on my back, literally. I was extremely dissatisfied and uncomfortable with my experience and left more stressed than when I got there.

Receptionist who greeting me was very warm and welcoming, assisted me when I was running late for my appt. The facility is clean, bright and has an upscale spa feel. From my initial call, to my visit today, Jocelyn has been extremely helpful and is very informative. She also has the perfect personality towards her customers...she really cares about your experience there. I am a CNA and have many neck, back & leg issues, so I had a Deep Tissue Massage. I was expecting to have a bigger muscular therapist but to my surprise in walks a very tiny therapist named Dana. Dont let size fool you. Dana is an awesome Deep Tissue Therapist who is really strong and knows her stuff! She alleviated alot of my discomfort and pain! Lastly I experienced what they call dry water/HydroLuxe Massage. Words cant express how I felt, I thought I was in heaven. The intense water shoots from your head to your toes, or you could target specific areas if you need to. I could have stayed there all day! I chose to be an an Elite member and look forward to my future treatments and perks at this heavenly get-a-way!!!

I’ll start with the good. Cute place and the staff is friendly. That’s about it.I went in for a facial. I’ve never had one before but I would think when you go in for a facial you get your face washed, cleansed, hot towel at least. More than I do at home, you know? No. I went in and the “consultation” to make the facial to your skin type is a joke. No recommendations. it wasn’t altered to meet the needs of my skin. it was a basic job. I got lotion on. Then wiped off. I got a little eye massage. Then wiped off. The peel isn’t even a peel. They put it on my skin and then wiped it off with cold rags. Not once did I get any steam or hot rag to open my pores. It was done on the skin I went in with. Which I didn’t even wash this morning thinking I’d get a good cleanse with my facial.After getting done I had a coupon for $45 and somehow the facial ended up being $130. Ridiuclous. I wouldn’t mind paying the much if it was worth it... but it was a basic job my 5 year old could have done. I left with peel still on my neck and my face just feeling sticky.Unfortunately, I would not return to this place.

It’s about unprofessional Customer service , I had an emergency and had to cancel my appointment to reschedule and unfortunately the lady over the phone did not want to solve the problem been having massage for over six months very happy about it, but because of the customer service I had to cancel the services for good.
