La Dolce Vita Spa

This little place is a diamond in the rough. My husband and I celebrated our 20th wedding Anniversary here. I found them on Google and gave them a try. Had a relaxing time from spa tub our 1hr massage, champagne and charcuterie snacks. They made us feel special and they were very friendly and nice. We asked for 2 women masseuses and they made that happen no problem. Definitely will be going back. Thanks again

Nice experience. Very good customer service. Good drink and snack selection. Only complaint is I would take a training on giving a body scrub. I go often to Korean day spas and when u get a body scrub, they actually scrub your full body. The nice lady asked did I want my stomach scrubbed and I said of course. Everywhere. She said people usually opt out of their stomach…. When she said “all done” I was legit in shock and surprised because she never touched my armpits, inner thighs, my butt, my neck nor my shoulders. I was disappointed and trying to hold my facial expression. Also it felt more of a rub down, than a scrub. She stated the service leaves your body soft, but I was only left oily as the scrub was with oil and salt? I don’t know. Definitely, not what I was expecting. It was also 90 degrees out and she used extremely hot water to pour over me the entire time. When I mentioned adding cold water she started stirring the water around as if that would cool it off on a super hot day. (Still confused) The service , wine, and snacks made up for the partial body scrub but I probably wouldn’t go back for the particular service

Came here for my birthday and had a great time. Did the whole body scrub, 1 hour massage and end up with the hot tub. They serve champagne to accompany the experience. Will definitely come back here!

First time to have a couple massage anywhere. We loved it. It was a new and relaxing experience. Victor and Edward did great at making us feel welcomed.

Okay, so we were not impressed at first. Kind of a run down part of town (we walked to it), small facility, and they were running behind. Once we got to the tub and settled in though, it was great. We did a couples tun and massage. The wine and champagne were served a little on the cold side so weren’t super tasty but we enjoyed them nonetheless! Chocolate covered strawberries and the end were fantastic!

This spot was recommended from the Westin Hotel in Long Beach since they don’t have facilities at their hotel. Since it was recommmended from such a large hotel - I figured it would have the normal spa feel and ammentities. (minus 1 star) It was Not in the best area of town at night, I took an Uber home after walking in. Went with the Spa soak, scrub, then massage and I was quite relaxed at the end of it all. Only thing that bugged me was there was no shower to rinse off at the end - I had to wait until I got back to my hotel. They had a sign on the shower closed for renovations. (minus 1 star) I would have skipped this spa if I had forewarning that I could not shower off after a treatment.

I have had so many great massages that provided greater range of motion, relaxation, and pain relief. All I can say about this was awkward and average. The spa facilities were somewhat tired. The shower was out of service and the table wobbled terribly. I also wasn’t told beforehand that I would be having a male masseuse. I don’t mind, but I have never not been told. Victor the therapist, felt very mechanical in his work. I am all for unconventional movements and techniques when they provide results, but I literally couldn’t tell any difference after the massage. It was a disappointing hour.

This is THE BEST Spa in the South Bay. From the moment you walk in the door you feel at peace, like a weight has been lifted and that you will be safe and pampered.The staff is AMAZING. Ive been going here for years, I miss Alison (best massage ever) but everyone there still always exceeds my vision of what a DAY SPA should be.Its like a second home.Trust me..go here! Better package deals than the bigwigs, caring and professional staff and you wont want to leave!Love to you all

Couples massage. Andrew was great! Wish the oil had some relaxing scents and a little better communication about where I would like them to focus. We did say to avoid Husbands left foot and Sean didnt listen to that and touched it. Other than that, it was a great experience!

I went here yesterday for a massage and scrub with my sister. We were pretty disappointed. The massage was pretty subpar and the massage therapists didn’t even introduce themselves to us. The girl who did my sister left the room multiple times, was checking her phone during the service, and didn’t turn the ringer off. She wouldn’t stop talking and asked some pretty invasive and sometimes offensive questions, such as insisting that my sister (who is only 4 years older than me) was actually my mother. She also asked as twice how we were going to pay while still in the session. For some reason, they wiped the lotion off of our bodies when they were done, and in my case, my feet got avoided altogether in the massage and the scrub. My sister complained that the sugar scrub got in between her buttcheeks because the woman got far too close. Afterwards, the girl herself who did the massage came up to us and directly asked for us to leave a tip. If I hadn’t felt pressured, I wouldn’t have done it at all. I was really disappointed by our experience because of all the positive reviews, it wasn’t worth the $300 price tag and I would probably never step foot in here again.

My wife and I went here for a couples massage and it was a great relaxing and bonding experience for us. We felt like we were on vacation while we were in our neighborhood. The staff took very good care of us. We were comfortable throughout the whole time. Im looking forward to the next session!

The atmosphere was great, and the staff was nice, but the deep tissue massage itself left me more sore leaving than I was when I arrived. Masseuse really messed up my shoulders (which were fine before the massage), and I’m pretty sure we ended after 60 minutes when I ordered a 90 minute session. Couldn’t recommend based on my experience.

This was a great experience. I always request deep tissue massage when I go to a spa, but rarely receive it at the level I want. Devon was able to give me one of the best massages I have ever received on my first visit, which is saying a lot. I would definitely go back and highly recommend.

Great pregnancy/prenatal massage, lovely place and what a lovely staff! Had massage really close to my due date to help me to get in to labour. 70 minutes went quick but after it I was really relaxed and the massage was just what I needed for my tired and swollen body. I highly recommend!

It was my first time at a spa! Everyone was welcoming, and nice. The bath was so relaxing. They provided fruit and delicious cucumber water. The salt scrub was so relaxing too. The robes were nice. I want one for myself!

My girlfriend and I came here to relax and unwind on vacation. It was truly a relaxing and unforgettable experience. I work as a professional dancer so the massage was definitely appreciated. Incredible place to breathe and escape for a little!

August 17, 2015 I had purchased a couples massage for $185. I had a family emergency, so I had missed my scheduled appointment. So I called and spoke to one of their representatives and they stated that I could have it refunded. I assumed that they would take care of it since thats what they stated.That day never happened. Ive emailed them directly and thru their website. They still havent refunded my money ever nor responded to any email. In fact, all I wanted to do (prior to this review) was schedule what I had originally paid for. Instead, they decided to keep my $185 of my hard earned money. Think long and hard before booking with this place in case you are worried with any scheduling conflicts.Funny thing is, this isnt my first time with them...the first experience was great and every worker was very friendly and I tipped very generously. They just need to refund my money at this point!

Laura at La Dolce Vita spa is an awesome professional. She knows her business and operates with honesty and integrity. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend her to anyone needing spa service. 10 out of 10! Thanks again Laura !

BE CAREFUL LADIES AND LEAVE ALL YOUR JEWELRY AT HOME IF YOU PLAN TO GO TO LA DOLCE VITA SPA.La Dolce Vita Spa massage therapist removed my Tiffanys heart necklace in the middle of my massage and never returned it to me. When the masseuse removed my necklace, I requested it be placed in my purse at the end of the table, but instead she placed in on a table in the room. I called that evening and left a message. The following day it took multiple (5+) attempts to get someone to pick up the phone. They took my information down and said they would call me back after looking into it. That was Sunday and I never received a call back. I finally got someone on the line Tuesday morning to ask about the necklace and they still had not found it. They promised that they would look for it and professed that nothing like this had ever happened before. Not only was the customer service lacking, especially when it came to the phone, but my necklace was stolen while in their place of business. I continue to have difficulty getting someone on the phone to discuss how to proceed with the situation.

My girlfriend set up an apt at this place. Was greeted by everyone upon entering. Very private area. Super friendly and helpful staff. The massage was great. Left that place incredibly satisfied.

Unfortunately, the major problem is scheduling! Tried repeatedly but finally had to meet with the oner/operator to get a solid ( or what I thought was a firm appointment date ).After canceling a few appointments of my own, my wife and I arrived on time. The receptionist checked but we were not on the schedule for the agreed on time. Following dinner we arrived at home with a voice mail from the owner who blamed the receptionistfor the error, when she was the person who made the appointment. She did invite us back, as they were still at the spa, but we were both very disappointed, and contacted Google for a refund.

Probably the best massage Ive ever had. No joke. Small and cozy and they take care of you. If I were closer Id go all the time.

I was given a spa package here as a gift and I adored the services and this place as a whole! Had a facial, massage, mani and pedi that day and all were relaxing and great. The owner is very talkative and friendly, the therapy dog is very sweet. I continue to go there for services and will do so!

Not worth it. Massage lasted 40 min instead of 1 hour. Jacuzzi is cheap, has very light bubbles. Do not recommend buying a package

Terrible experience! Owner was so rude, and unprofessional! Had an appointment and waited an hour to get services. I literally was there all day waiting for services because they were short staff or idk what. They had no clients there and they said they were booked. It was definitely a lie. The staff were ok, but the owner was not so pleasant and I feel like reporting her because of how I was treated. Never going back, I wouldnt reccomend this spa to ANYONE!

Had a groupon with my gf. The large black woman was the best. Ive never felt so good from a massage before. small and not hoity toity but very relaxing and peaceful.

Love this hidden gem in Long Beach. Ive come a few times before and each time I leave feeling amazing. Highly suggest booking a massage. You wont regret it.

Laura and her team received us wonderfully... we took the couples treatment package which includes a moment of relaxation in the jacuzzi, then a sublime scrub in the outside tent and finally a great massage (Victor has golden fingers, I recommend it). I recommend this place which is really relaxing 🥰I had a very pleasant and peaceful time at the Dolce Vita Spa ... Laura and her team received us wonderfully well ... we took the couple care package which includes a moment of relaxation in the jacuzzi, then a sublime exfoliation in the outdoor tent and to finish a great massage (Victor has golden fingers, I recommend it).
