Massage Envy

The masseuse (Christine) started late and ended early. She started by asking me questions about myself — more focused on getting to know me, instead of the massage itself. She questioned me about my career, age, and asked me how I have membership status at my age, among other unnecessary things during the massage. I was more concerned about relaxing and that was the opposite of relaxation! I gave short answers to get her to stop asking questions. She also REALLY hurt my hand while massaging it; she dug her finger in between my thumb and index finger for what felt like ages, and it still hurts hours after my appointment.MY HAND IS THROBBING AND IT’S BEEN HOURS. I CAN’T MOVE IT WELL! CHRISTINE DOES NOT KNOW WHAT SHE’S DOING!!!The room and bed were dirty as well. Overall, I did not enjoy the massage and I will be taking my business to another location.

Worst 3 experiences ever! I tried so hard to give them another shot each time. They messed up reservations after I had got a baby sitter, did not honor a gift card, cut a massage short due to an added on service and the last time staff has just had lunch and all I could smell was there burps. Usually when I get a massage/ facial at other places they take and provide mints.

If I could leave 0 stars I would. Today 08/27/23 I’ve called 6 times because NO ONE will answer the phone so I can book a massage. How do you run a business when the phones aren’t being answered ? Unacceptable completely. Haven’t been to the Location before and I’m already having issues.

I have had two bad experiences with Masseurs here. Manager offers an apology but little help to the point where i have had to call in 4 different times to reach one. My issue still is not resolved as I have been waiting on an email for the last three days to request to cancel my membership. Now i will have to call in for a 5th time to follow up. I first reported my issue on 2/28, it is now 3/10. During this time I have still been charged.Update: after calling in again, they’ve refunded me for the new charge. and canceled my membership. front desk staff was helpful, pleasant, and friendly on this day 3/11.

I enjoyed my first massage envy experience with Matt, he took great care of me and I couldnt ask for more. The ladies up front were super nice, attentive and professional. They even understood how disappointed I was that I wasnt aware of their introductory rates and wasted my gift card on a stretching session instead of a massage like I wanted because according to the website my gift card was only enough for a stretching session. The website gives zero details about introductory rates, at least the mobile version anyway. I love the staff and facility, but Im very unhappy with the website not being suitable for first timers. Maybe if I get another gift card Ill try out the massage.

Terrible customer care and customer service at this location. They require members to cancel their membership 10 days in advance because the payments are automatic, yet its taken them 2 weeks to cancel my account. Ive been patient and called them to follow-up and Ive been to the office in person to resubmit the cancelation form. Ive been promised by different managers or employees that I would have my cancelation processed and my confirmation email sent to me by end of day or within 24-48 hours and it never happened. I never got an email or phone call from anyone following up for not sending me my cancellation within the promised timeframe. Nobody I spoke to over the past 2 weeks showed any concern over the fact that my account wasnt being cancelled in a timely manner and nobody apologized for the lack of concern regarding this issue. I called this morning and spoke to Monet and I asked her to please send me a confirmation email and she said that she cant because she has more important things to do but shell get to it later. Seems like theyre delaying the process until I could be charged again.

These people should be avoided. They are simply unable to keep reservations straight. Then they charge you for a session you canceled, not once but twice. Their policy is that you can make an appointment by phone but a cancelation must be in writing. Get the picture?

The massage was great, I felt she listened to me and I felt better, also she instructed me on how to care for the tightness in my knee. They are pricey and I paid extra for the oils. After the massage I was told I would be given water it was a small cup not a bottle for 123.00 I felt a bottle water should be included 🤔

I went to Massage Envy today for a facial with Ana. Probably the best experience Ive had at a Massage Envy ever! Ana, was very kind & knowledgable! She did an amazing job with my skin, let me ask any questions & gave me some great tips! It was not only a healing session for my skin but a relaxing one! Im recommending her to everyone! Massage envy is lucky to have her!

They over charge for a massage. They tell you one price and then charge more on the card they keep on file. Don’t recommend coming here you can go to Lakewood mall with those Asians in the middle and get a better massage for 30$

Friendly staff at this location. I consider Massage Envy more like an express massage, as they do not have showers, jacuzzi or any other amenities. The massages are pretty good, but it usually depends on who you get. I’ve had good massages and just okay massages there depending on the person. Same with their facials. It depends on who you get. My last person talked too much and her technique didn’t feel like I got a effective facial. It seemed more like she was just applying products over and over. I still prefer Burke Williams 100% over Massage Envy.

I went in to receive a facial yesterday, I have a membership with massage envy And I planned on using services I thought I had on file. When I arrived for my appointment I was not aware that I did not have any services on file the front desk staff Cassandra did not tell me that I would have to pay out-of-pocket for my appointment. I did not find out that I had a balance for my facial until I finished my appointment. When Cassandra told me that I owed $110 for The facial I was in shock. I notified Cassandra that my membership payment is due this weekend and she can use monies from that when the payment comes out. Cassandra told me no! You have to pay for everything right now we cannot wait till this weekend for you to make payment this is not how it works. As a paying customer and establishment should not tell a customer that they will file a police report I was highly offended and shocked that the manager would say something like that. I have been a member for almost a year this does not make any sense they do not Satisfy customers needs.

I have been a member of massage envy for almost a year. The massage I received today at this location was the absolute worst I have ever had. The therapists used hard pressure through the whole massage even after I asked for lighter. They also dont know how to properly work out knots. My spouse and I left in more pain than we came in with. Absolutely dissatisfied with this location and their therapists.

Was good but I couldnt use my credit and they expired and they wouldnt give me an extention or refund the credit. I wont ever go back. This was for me and my daughters membership. Our schedules wouldnt allow us to go.

My daughter and I love, love love this place!! From beginning to end its a calming experience. I love Tyrah!! My daughter loves Kenia!! They work out every knot, soothe my aching muscles and leave me feeling like I can tackle my busy schedule. Theyre simply awesome!!!

Im going on my 3rd massage with ashley and shes great. She makes me feel comfortable and is a very sweet woman. Everyone is really nice and always answering all my questions

Called this place cause its close to my house and I was desperate to get a massage for headache relief. Got sooo lucky to have Vivi as my masseuse. Headache gone and she made me a fan. I joined two weeks later and now see Vivi twice a month, headache or no headache.

Friendly staff and excellent massage therapists. Cannot express how friendly the staff is at this location. Everyone is always so nice and helpful. Also Cammie is the best therapist Ive ever had.

Membership fee is now too high for them to be competitive.Ample parking.Friendly staff.Not 1 single male therapist that Id recommend there 😕

With membership, a good way to practice self care. They offer facials, peels, dermabrasion, stretches, various forms of massage, essential oil aroma therapy & other therapeutic enhancements. Ample free parking and very accomodating hours.
