I went for the stand up on Thursdays...its the first bar since leaving GA that has an atmosphere like a real bar. Theres smoke in the air, laughter and people genuinely enjoying themselves.

Great specials during the week and chill atmosphere, especially nights with live music. very enjoyable.my one reason for a lower rating: bartender seems to be overcharging and pocketing quarters. i’m in the industry so it just seriously rubs me the wrong way.would’ve tipped them a lot more too if it wasn’t for this one mega personality flaw. do better. bars for us non tech people are all about vibes and camaraderie, this type of thing kills that.

Love this bar. Stood up for a bouncer and my wallet got dropped. They picked it up for me and held it. Damn good food and drinks. Staff is amazing.

Been going for years and have always had an amazing time. The food is amazing! Chef does different brunch menus every Sunday! They have daily drink specials and a wonderful staff! My favorite bar in town that I will always highly recommend!

I dont remember being treated so badly in a restaurant before. It was a horrible experience. I went with my wife and a friend and they were served first. They ate because we all thought my dish would arrive soon. We waited for over one hour without me being able to eat dinner until we finally decided to leave. Until I canceled the bill, without the dish that had not been served to me, the dish arrived. Obviously I returned the food to them. Our going out to dinner was ruined. I will never go back to that place where they dont respect customers. I recommend everyone to do the same if you dont want to have a bad experience like mine =(.

Bartenders get out drinks super fast, someone is always picking up the empty bottles and glasses and their live music is amazing! Would totally recommend!

Management is poor. The service at this establishment was under par, I was hoping to appreciate the atmosphere. However, the workers were inattentive and rude. I would not recommend this bar.

Its not my favorite bar, but hell yeah Id go back. They tend to have excellent live music pretty often. Bands and artists such as Pappy Check & The Flip Phones, John Sprott, and Uncle Dirtbag to name a few. Never had their food. I dont even know if ihey sell it. If you could fry up mediocrity into a bar food thats probably what itd be like is my guess. Their music selection when a band isnt playing is absolutely atrocious and ithe genres are nothing like the acts that play there. Thats a bit odd, but whatever. True rating is 3.5 stars.

Great drink, awsome bartenders and the voodoo chicken sandwich is the best.

I love this place great service atmosphere and most of all the FOOD everything was fresh and delicious 🤤🤤 had a great experience and time ate so much I was surprised how big their flautas were looking for a good chill spot this is the place PM

Excellent Dive Bar for the Lubbock area. Beers are cold food is typical bar food but tasty and the service was awesome. If you are looking for a place close to Tech with a dive attitude, please patron the Bar PM!!

I am a regular here and love this place. The staff has always been friendly. To drop a few names Kevin and B always make sure to come by and talk to us even if they arent serving us. The hotzarella sticks are fantastic and the prices on drinks are unbeatable. Truly a five star dive bar.

Killer spot to day drink. Had a philly and it was good but maaan was it salty AF lol ate the fries to cancel out the salt but even that was salted like a mf, and I season the shxt out my food😂 but other than that, bitchin spot🤘 if you want more flavor dont just fxck the food with salt lol

Live music is amazing plus the food is 10/10 which is honestly impressive for a bar. Bartenders are always so nice & drink specials are a plus too :) The Hottzarella sticks seriously cant be beat! One of my favorite spots for a night out.

This place has terrible service. The worker was incredibly harsh and I do not respect the management at this establishment and would never return. This place has a lot of potential, but would recommend better service!

We went on open mic comedy night. The comedians were terrible except for the Jenny lady, she was hilarious. Other customers would not keep the noise down so it was hard to hear the comedians. The bartenders were rude to my husband but very polite to me. They were always sure to have our table cleared which was nice. The chicken quesadilla was not good but the queso was excellent. It was a very diverse crowd of all ages but this was during the summer so Texas tech was not in session otherwise I do believe its a college bar. Smoking is allowed.

Service is awesome and they always have great live music.

If you are looking for a dive bar with great music, good food, and solid drink prices look no further. Smoking/vaping is allowed here indoors as a fair warning. They have two large areas with two bars. It gets busy usually around 10pm on busy nights.

Great staff, drink, food, and service, but the vibe is pretty bad when its packed. Too many drunk frat boys, not enough people appreciating the live music. There was a great band there the other night, and they didnt have an audience to play to because everyone there was already smashed, so they tore down early while I still wanted to hear a lot more. I hate having to knock off stars on the rating because of crappy customers... it makes it look like the business is the problem, which it isnt.

This truly is a five star dive bar. Their food is fantastic. I highly recommend the hottzarella sticks for an appetizer. Be sure to check out their voodoo chicken sandwich and their grilled cheese. Make sure to grab some of their chipotle ketchup to dip everything in. Drinks are great and they have live music often at night.

This is, hands down, the best bar in Lubbock! They staff is always friendly and fun, very inviting place, definitely the Cheers of Lubbock. They have live music every night of the week, great drink specials and daily $5 lunch specials. This is the place to go if you want a good and inexpensive lunch or dinner and a stiff drink.

Amazing staff all the way around from the owners all the way to the kitchen staff. Best bar on or off Broadway. The staff make me feel safe and I trust them to provide a professional and fun environment. Couldn’t be happier. I’ll be back again and again!

Service was awful; the bartender couldnt even name a few beers to let us know what they had for sale? The place had maybe 15 additional people in it. We simply left after one beer rather that stay and make it worse.

Best liquor bar near campus. The drinks are always strong. There is always some sort of live music (bands or DJs). Its loud all the time, even when its not busy, so if you are looking for a quiet place, this is not it. The bartenders are fast and friendly!

Great menu with more than generous portion sizes. Variety of live music throughout the week and super affordable drink prices. I love hanging out here on my days off.

Our bartender was...Joey? I believe thats his name, and he was great. He handled my drunk self very well, I gotta applaud him for that. Lol met some good people there, had a good time

Love this place! Friendly and fast service the philly, jerk tacos, and green chile burger are so good. The french fries are also a must try! They have daily lunch specials which are very affordable.

This is my favorite broadway bar. Divey in a good way. I enjoy coming here to listen to local music and the crowd is different then other bars around broadway. Drink prices are reasonable. They have a good lunch here throughout the week as well.

Its a nice small bar. It wasnt really busy when I went. I went there and it seemed the regular were there. They were all nice and a few talked to me. The food was good. Not bad place

Great atmosphere. Wonderful drinks and awesome coustomer service. And the live music is great when you dont feel like dealing with the typical college bar scene in the area!

Love love love this place...the bartender their on Sunday nights is fabulous and makes the best mixed drinks Ive ever had. I highly recommend this place...ask for Kevin at the bar!

Go for lunch, any day of the week, and theres a $5 lunch special. Go at night and eat as well since the kitchen is open until 10. Live music every night and some of the best bartenders on broadway.

We had a meeting there today and I cant thanks the owners or staff enough. Chase took great care of us. The food was great.

Great place for cheap drinks, and great food. Grilled cheese is my go to, other than that, always get the chips and salsa with the voodoo. Very underrated food at this location.

Great lunch specials m-f 11-4. My favorites are the Philly and green chile cheeseburger. And super tasty fries.

Guys started a fight, I tried to break it up/separate them and got hit in the face by one bouncer while another tried to kick me out for intervening. Classless employees. Fun otherwise though.

It’s a Saturday night, There was no live music and drunk old regulars only. No way would this be a dive bar unless your diving into a coffin.

Bar PM is a place located on an avenue recognized by many, in front of the Texas Tech University, the atmosphere you enjoy is the best, friendly, the staff that serves you is friendly and professional, their attention is constant and efficient, their beers Very cold and in their kitchen they know what they are doing, the Philly sandwich is very tasty and abundant, the hygiene is also good, many of us liked it. We will return!
