The Glass House

I always try to support local businesses that offer unique products, especially products that are usually available ONLY online. When we found Glass House through a Google Maps search, we were giggling like children, as it wasn’t far from where we live.When we finally visited Glass House, we were immediately disappointed with their insanely HIGH prices, and their limited selection of completely average glass. The selection was very limited, unless you were prepared to drop $100+ on an entire pipe. Add to that their ironclad “no returns, period” policy and we began to wonder if we’d made a mistake in stopping there.The outrageous prices and limited selection simply weren’t conducive to a second visit. They offer nothing that you can’t find online, for far less. I was able to find the exact same items that Glass House sells, but for 75% less than what they were asking. I got FOUR identical items for the same price that they were asking for ONE item. It bears repeating: Glass House’s prices are very high.The staff made the whole visit worthwhile, as they were both friendly and professional. I genuinely enjoyed speaking with them while helping them to properly assemble one of their e-products, as I had one at home. While their prices and policies aren’t so friendly, that’s not the fault of the employees. Even so, it brings me no joy to leave a poor review for any business, let alone one that employs such nice people. I’d describe Glass House as a local curiosity, but no place to rush to visit or depend upon. It’s just not that kind of place.

I absolutely enjoy walking into the glass house every time I need tattoo supplies... The guy thats working everytime Im there is laid back jokes a lot and just an all around good dude... This is why I will continue to buy my supplies there... 10/10 would definitely recommend

Little place but it has all the right products. The staff was very nice. Its my go to place for the product I use and the prices are really good 👍

Excellent 👌👌👌. Love the store- hate the owner, who apparently lives in Texas. (Figures). The young lady there was sick, they were extremely slow 🦥😔 and yet she couldnt go home.Why? Because there are only 2 people, (besides the manager. Who should have gone in), that work there.Anyhoo, ✌️

Evidently the sales guys phone call was more important than my daughters Christmas gift. Not the first time he was pushy either. He even recommended their competition!!! Definitely headed to LAVA SMOKE like he suggested

They have everything you need. They carry GRAV glass, I loaded up with a GRAV hammer and GRAV curved steamroller today, both super heavy duty pieces and they both rip perfectly. Great store, great employees, a great time. Stop In and show some love.

Been here twice and both times have been amazing. The employees truly care about finding the perfect piece for you. I absolutely adore my bowl and the employee helped me for like 10 minutes before finding the perfect one.I went in a second time today and there was another guy there who was just as nice and helpful. Had a great conversation too. Will be coming here when in Mansy!

Everything was very cool unique and high quality. With that Im giving this smoke shop 5 stars along with great customer service. All though some of the people are not so friendly. Its still a great place to shop

This place is a joke. Never have the open sign on, always closing 2 hours before their suppose to, rude customer service and never have what you need. I would recommend driving to Columbus for your tattoo supplies!

10:40am and I was greeting by a beautiful red haired woman with a great smile, awesome tattoos, and a welcoming attitude! Very helpful. Nice store w great selection of glass etc.

Makayla helped us with the nectar collectors and the bangers for our rigs. She was very professional and knew what she was talking about! Very nice pieces at affordable prices, this isnt cheap glass that will break easily. I would recommend this shop if youre looking for high end glass pieces!

Everytime I go into the shop to get my tattoo equipment Jake Mosier has been the one I’ve dealt with lately and dude gives great vibes always respectful knows a lot of the questions I need asked definitely makes my time there easier keep it up Jake aka jake from State Farm respect bro

Purchased very expensive vape pen there only to get it home, charge it and its dead doesnt work. Took it back with receipt and box and was told they dont do refunds or exchanges. WHAT A SCAM this place is. Go to LAVA where they treat people right.

So The Glass House Ive gone to multiple times and honestly I think Jake does an amazing job behind the counter and is very professional makes his customers laugh hes very good at what he does knows the prices very well knows where everythings at like the back of his hand I know the last time I was there I left with a smile they have very reasonable prices and just all around good people if you ever need any type of glass or tattoo equipment Jakes the guy to talk to thanks Jake youre a pretty cool guy

Best place nearby to find quality pieces, at fair prices. They have a huge selection of Raw, Juicy Jay, Rick n Morty, and horror merch, along with a huge selection of glass and tatt equipment. Every time we go in, we see something new. Not to mention the staff is very knowledgeable, and welcoming. All around an awesome shop, and its always our go-to for glass.

The MAN that was working the store was very disrespectful. Not only was HE rude HE also told me not to come back. After spending money there. 1st time I ever entered that store was my last...... now I see why no one ever goes there. He needs retrained in customer service

The people who run the establishment are very nice and kind. They answer any and all questions. There is plenty of variety in products and displays are very pleasing to the eye. Would definitely recomned to anyone looking for tattoo supplies, tobacco products and pipes.

Normally have a great experience here with the guy with the buzzed head and beard - knowledgeable and helpful guy. However, I went in today to buy some Kratom and the associate working told me I had to buy it off him for cash because he had purchased it all for himself. I’ve worked in multiple retail positions and I’m pretty sure it’s a big no-no to buy your own product with your employee discount then turn around and sell it for cash, especially out of the same building.

Not open at lunch and no idea when they open back up. Drove from Bucyrus so this is super annoying. Employee also sold me a cartridge that was supposed to be Delta 8 and CBD but she didnt know how much. I called the company and they said theres absolutely no CBD in it. So a huge waste of money for me.

Great shop and layout. Went in just to browse and see the selection. But Ray sold me on the store. He was extremely knowledgeable of the store and its wares. Was able to convince me to buy a more expensive piece than i was looking for but was definately worth the money. I hadnt heard of the glass house until recently. But i will definately be making a return and honestly i hope ray is gonna be there tje next time i go in!! Thanks for the help!

I was in Mansfield camping for the weekend but forgot the battery to my KindPen battery. Whoever was working on July 15 was great and helped me find exactly what I needed. Definitely saved the day! If I ever need anything smoking related while in the area again, I’ll be back in for sure.

Looked for a water pipe for about 5 minutes and was asked to leave. Teller decided I was taking too long I guess despite me being about to drop 300 on their overpriced/cheap glass. Hardly and selection and everything had been marked up. Youre better off skipping the hassle and buying a piece online.

Very small selection. Over priced and just lame. Its like a head shop for comic book fans. Lol. How are you going to run a head shop and know nothing about The Grateful Dead? Lol. Of course the have Bob Marley stuff. Its like a poser shop in my opinion.

Always good service generally the workers know what they are selling and they also have the best selection of insents sticks and cones Ive ever seen and the brands they sell are excellent

I see people complaining on here about thier selection like they want a fully stocked shop with every brand ... theres fewer and fewer cities that even allow retail of tattoo and piercing supplies and the sale to just anyone who over 18...Ive always been able to find what I need or something that works just as well. All the regular associates and owner have made a great personal effort to make sure they carry or will carry an item or color I show that will be bought and wont sit on thier shelf. It used to be hard enough to even order supplies off the internet, so its awesome they work to provide gear in a brick and mortar shop. Keep it up GH!

I didnt love it nor did I hate it. Its not my cup of tea, I didnt find anything of interest. The salesman was polite and knowledgeable, But the store just wasnt exciting I didnt like the atmosphere.

I see the reviews most about an employee which imo if i stop shopping places because of the employees well walmart would be out of the question ..I have never had any issues with this place , also i dont give to many Fks about service i dont go here to browse or window shop this is the kind of place you already know what you want when you show up...ANNND lets keep in mind this is mansfield ohio so like what do you all expect ?

Went here and the guy in the middle of helping me stopped and started helping another guy and completely ignored me where I stood.. I already had things behind the counter too. I was a regular but I will take my money elsewhere now.

Came because I needed a pipe before leaving town. When I arrived, the open sign was on, but I was met with a cardboard sign saying will return in 30 min on the door handle. sat in car and waited for 45+ mins. No one came back. Very upset and disappointed.

3.25.19 the man working today needs a new career choice. I have never been treated so rudely in my 60 years. I will NEVER go back into this store.

I told the guy what I was looking for and it took him no time at all to help me find something I love in my price range. I broke my pipe so definitely going back would recommend for tokers

The Glass House has become a HUGE joke. Travis Roberts who had issues a few weeks ago is my boyfriend. Today, he decided to give The Glass House another chance since his bad review was supposedly addressed and handled internally. Well it wasnt. The same loser was working today and was so disrespectful! Tried to tell my boyfriend it was illegal to use my card, but used it anyways! Then, he threw my card at him AND threw the bag with his merchandise he just purchased across the counter while cussing my boyfriend and his brother out! What kind of business allows their employees to act this way to a PAYING CUSTOMER?! I wouldnt recommend going and spending a dime here which is pretty sad considering we have probably spent thousands here over the last few years. Check the cameras and FIRE this dumbass or youll be losing a lot more business I can guarantee that!

Horrible customer service lying on advertisement. I walked into the store asked for the hookah supplies told me to look behind me to show me a wall with bongs. When I said those werent hookahs he kicked me out the store and called me a smartass. If your website and your front door says you sell hookah supplies and you do not that is false advertisement.

Awesome place. Kinda an old hole in the wall facility, but not lacking in courtesy or selection. & high quality products too. Recomend for that special friend.

The big guy with the tattoos is not a people person and even cusses at you. Horrible service I will never go back. I used to love this place…
